पंचकूला, 12 फरवरी : पोषण अभियान  के अंतर्गत आज पोषण जागृति पखवाड़ा की शुरूआत की गई,  यह अभियान 29 फरवरी   तक मनाया जाएगा।

 इस अभियान के अंतर्गत विशेष गतिविधियों का आयोजन किया जाएगा। जिसका मुख्य उदेश्य विभाग द्वारा चलाई जा रही  पोषण अभियान योजना के अंतर्गत कुपोषित बच्चों  की पहचान कर उनके स्वास्थ्य पर निगरानी रखना है।

  इस अभियान के दौरान लोगों को योग सेशन, साइक्लिंग और स्लोगन प्रतियोगिता और पौधारोपण जैसी गतिविधियाँ करवाकर जागरूक किया जाएगा। इस अभियान का मुख्य उदेश्य जन आंदोलन और जन भागीदारी के माध्यम से पोषण के महत्व के बारे में जागरूकता बढ़ाना और खाने की स्वस्थ आदतों को बढ़ावा देना है।

 यह कार्यकर्म 15 दिनों के लिए आयोजित किया जाएगा। इसके साथ ही पोषण जागृति पखवाड़ा कुपोषण मुक्त भारत के सपने को साकार करने में मदद करेगा। यह पूरा कार्यकर्म लाइन विभाग  जैसे स्वास्थ्य , शिक्षा ,आयुष , वन विभाग  के सहयोग से प्रदेश भर में मनाया जाएगा।

Panchkula, February 12- Haryana is going to get the 22nd All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) of the country under the Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojana.  Prime Minister, Sh Narendra Modi will lay the foundation stone of AIIMS on February 16 in Majra Bhalkhi village of Rewari district.

Besides laying the foundation stone of this prestigious project, Sh Narendra Modi will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of several other development projects and also address the Viksit Bharat-Viksit Haryana program. The program will be telecast live in all the districts of the state. In district Panchkula, programs will be organized at Indradhanush Auditorium, Sector-5 and Mahabir Farm House, Raipurrani where people will see live telecast of  the programme.  



Beneficiaries of various social security schemes will get pension certificates

Deputy Commissioner, Sh Sushil Sarwan presided over a meeting of senior officers of district administration at the conference hall of Mini Secretariat here today regarding the programmes to be organized in the district and gave them necessary directions. He said that people will be able to see the live telecast of the foundation laying ceremony of AIIMS through LED screens at Indradhanush Auditorium Sector-5 and Mahabir Farm House Raipurrani . On this occasion, beneficiaries of various social security schemes like Old Age Allowance, Divyang Pension, Widow and Destitute Women Pension and Financial Assistance to Widower and Unmarried Persons scheme will be given pension certificates.  

Later, the Deputy Commissioner visited Indradhanush Auditorium, Sector-5 and took stock of the preparations being made for the successful organization of the program and gave necessary directions to the concerned officers.

On this occasion, Additional Deputy Commissioner Harish Vashishtha, SDM Gaurav Chauhan, City Magistrate Mannat Rana, District Development and Panchayats Officer (DDPO) Rajan Singla, ADIO Aastha, SDO Haryana Shehri Vikas Pradhikaran (HSVP) Kailash and other concerned officers were also present.

*Chandigarh, February 12:-* Aiming to improve the capacity and enhance awareness of safaimitras, the Municipal Corporation Chandigarh organized a comprehensive training workshop today at the Municipal Corporation Building in Sector-17, Chandigarh. 

With Swachh Survekshan 2024 in the horizon, MC Chandigarh’s Training and Capacity experts delivered informative sessions covering six major subject areas: Solid Waste Management, Domestic Hazardous Waste Management, Prevention of Sexual Harassment Act, Disaster Management & Epidemic Response, Government Scheme Linkages, and Mental Health and Well-being.

Municipal Commissioner, Ms. Anindita Mitra, IAS, shared that MC Chandigarh remains dedicated to the professional growth and development of its employees. The organization has dedicated the entire month of February to conducting the Capacity Building and Training Workshop, ensuring comprehensive coverage of essential topics.

She further added that , by organizing this capacity building and training workshop, the organization strives to equip its workforce with the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver high-quality services to the citizens of Chandigarh.

The workshop witnessed enthusiastic participation from 300 attendees who actively shared their experiences and knowledge with fellow workers. The participants had the opportunity to interact with the experts and clarify their doubts on each segment. Furthermore, the attendees received guidance on recognizing and avoiding fraudulent phone calls and messages related to banking.

In line with MC Chandigarh’s commitment to environmental sustainability, the workshop also emphasized the promotion of Zero Waste Events. This initiative aims to minimize waste generation and promote responsible waste management practices.
