पंचकूला 15 अक्टूबर  – बाल दिवस 2024 के उपलक्ष पर जिला बाल कल्याण परिषद पंचकूला द्वारा उपायुक्त डा. यश गर्ग के मार्गदर्शन में जिला स्तर पर फैंसी ड्रेस, बेस्ट ड्रामेबाज, समूह व एकल नृत्य देशभक्ति गायन, एकल गायन प्रतियोगिताओं का आयोजन किया गया। इसकी अध्यक्षता कार्यक्रम अधिकारी श्रीमती मंजू चौधरी ने की।

उन्होंने बताया कि सभी प्रतियोगिताओं में लगभग 14 स्कूलों के 250 बच्चों ने अलग-अलग प्रतिभा अनुसार अपनी प्रस्तुति दी।

 इस मौके पर  जिला बाल कल्याण अधिकारी श्री भगत सिंह ने बताया कि बाल दिवस की सभी प्रतियोगिताएं जिला स्तर पर  14 से 23 अक्टूबर 2024 तक करवाई जाएगी और इन सभी प्रतियोगिताओं के विजेता डिवीजन लेवल पर अपनी प्रस्तुति देंगे।  

श्री भगत सिंह ने बताया कि इन प्रतियोगिताओं से बच्चों के सर्वांगीण विकास व अपनी प्रतिभा को निखारने का मौका मिलता है इस मौके पर सभी स्कूलों के अध्यापक /अध्यापिकाएं बच्चों के अभिभावक के साथ-साथ जिला बाल कल्याण परिषद पंचकूला के सभी कर्मचारी मौजूद थे।

पंचकूला, 15 अक्तूबर जिला नगर योजनाकार के नेतृत्व में आज सहायक नगर योजनाकार की टीम द्वारा नियत्रितं क्षेत्र रायुपर-रानी व अर्बन एरिया पंचकूला में एक अनाधिकृत काॅलोनीे के विरूद्ध तोड़-फोड़ की कार्यवाही की गई। इस कार्यवाही के दौरान गांव बड़ोना में अनाधिकृत काॅलानी रोड़ नेटवर्क को जेसीबी के द्वारा ध्वस्त किया गया। यह कार्यवाही ड्यूटी मैजिस्ट्रेट, अजमेर सिंह एवं भारी पुलिस बल की उपस्थिति में संपन्न हुई।


इस संबंध में जानकारी देते हुए सहायक नगर योजनाकार ने बताया कि अवैध काॅलानी को हटाने से पहले विभाग द्वारा नोटिस भी दिए गए थे, लेकिन इस निर्माण को नहीं हटाया गया, जिस कारण विभाग को यह कार्रवाई करनी पड़ी। उन्होंने बताया कि कोई भी निर्माण करने या कोई भी काॅलोनी विकसित करने से पहले निदेशक, नगर तथा ग्राम आयोजना विभाग हरियाणा, चंडीगढ़ से अनुमति लिए बिना कोई भी अवैध निर्माण या काॅलोनी विकसित की जाती है, तो विभाग उसके विरुद्ध कानूनी कार्यवाही करने के साथ-साथ अर्बन एरिया एक्ट-1975, पैरिफेरी नियंत्रित क्षेत्र-1952 तथा नियंत्रित क्षेत्र-1963 के तहत विभाग सख्त कानूनी कार्यवाही करता है।


उन्होने आम जनता से अपील करते हुए कहा कि विभाग से सी.एल.यु/लाईसेंस की अनुमति लिए बिना काटी गई काॅलोनियों में मकान या दुकान ना लें ताकि उनकी कड़ी मेहनत का पैसा बर्बाद न हो और अनाधिकृत अवैध निर्माणों पर रोक लग सके।

*Mayor listens people’s grievances at village Kajheri under “Mayor Aapke Dwar” programme*

*Chandigarh, October 15:-* Sh. Kuldeep Kumar, Mayor, Chandigarh today visited village Kajheri and Sector 52 under “ Mayor Aapke Dwar” programme to reach out to the local residents to hear grievances related to MC Chandigarh.

The Mayor took round of the village today in the presence of Sh. Lakhbir Singh, area councilor and senior officers of MC, Chandigarh. Representatives from various area level federations, resident welfare associations and local residents were present during the visit.

The Mayor said that the MC Chandigarh would make proper arrangements to ensure that government benefits of schemes/programmes to reach at the right beneficiaries including providing and upgradation of basic amenities to the citizens of City Beautiful.

During the visit the Mayor asked the concerned engineers of Public Health wing to prepare estimates of strengthening storm water drainage system in the village Kajheri and resolve the overflow of sewerage system. The Mayor asked the concerned officers to maintain cleanliness in the surroundings of the village and place no litter signage in appropriate places.

The Mayor asked the Executive Engineer of B&R wing to take up the rest part of phirni road of the village Kajheri for upgradation and prepare estimates for the same before ensuing General House meeting.

Local residents raised their grievances during the visit including door to door waste collection, pruning of trees, providing of paver blocks, maintenance of parks, recarpeting of internal roads and problem of haphazard parking of vehicles in the area. The concerned officers noted down the complaints and assured the citizens for their early solution.

*MC Chandigarh conducts workshop on occupation health & hygiene*

*Chandigarh, October 15:-* The Municipal Corporation, Chandigarh in association with the Centre for One Health, Guru Angad Dev Veterinary and Animal Sciences University (GADVASU), Ludhiana and Dayanand Medical College & Hospital (DMCH), Ludhiana, conducted one day sensitization workshop at the Municipal Corporation Slaughter House, Chandigarh today.

The event was organized under the aegis of Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) project titled on Building a Surveillance Model for Detecting Zoonotic Spillover in Increased Animal-Human Interaction Settings Using a One Health Approach: A Study at Selected slaughterhouses.

The workshop was inaugurated by Dr. Inderdeep Kaur, Medical Officer (Health), Municipal Corporation, Chandigarh, Dr. JS Bedi, Director, Centre for One Health, Dr. Veenu Gupta, Professor, Microbiology and Dr. Harmanmeet Kaur from ICMR, New Delhi. More than 30 slaughterhouse personnel attended this workshop.

The objective of this workshop was to acknowledge slaughterhouse workers and associated personnel, aiming to raise awareness about occupational exposure to the zoonotic diseases (diseases transmissible from animals to human) and the risks of animal-to-human disease transmission in high-contact environments. The Participants were educated on the basics of zoonotic diseases, occupational exposure routes, prevention of these diseases along with maintenance of good hygiene and sanitation practices at the working environment.

Dr. Inderdeep Kaur emphasized the vital role of collaboration between municipal health authorities and researchers in addressing diseases transmissible from animals to human. Dr. JS Bedi highlighted the importance of usage of protective gear while handling the animals during slaughter operations. Dr. Veenu depicted the importance of hand hygiene to the participants. ICMR personnel Dr. Harman interacted with the slaughterhouse workers and briefed them about the project mandates and how it will be helpful for the society and the slaughterhouse workers with the aim to supply safe and wholesome meat to the consumer. Dr. Gaurav Lakhanpal, Superintendent slaughterhouse thanked the experts and participants ensuring the productive liaisons between all the stakeholders.
