Rinku Kalia, eminent vocalist and winner of Zee TV’s musical realty show “Sa Re Ga Ma”, along with Sarangi maestro Vinod Pawar and noted ghazal singer Kanwar Jagmohan will be awarded the “Kala Pratibha Awards-2024” of the Chandigarh Sangeet Natak Akademi(CSNA).
Announcing this here today, Sudesh Sharma and Vikrant Seth, Chairman and Vice-Chairman, respectively, of the CSNA, said while Kalia would be awarded in the category of folk vocal/folk instruments while Pawar in the classical vocal /classical instruments. Jagmohan will be awarded in the light classical category.

Besides, nine other artistes would be awarded in the categories of dance, music and drama. A lifetime achievement award and an art promoter award would also given by the CSNA, which is awarding the tricity artistes for the first time.
Sharma and Seth informed that an Award Selection Committee, comprising eminent artistes was constituted to select the winners from entries received by July 31, 2024. The awardees will get award at a grand function to be organized at Chandigarh soon, they added.
पंचकूला, 4 सितम्बर – उपायुक्त एवं जिला निर्वाचन अधिकारी डा. यश गर्ग ने बताया कि विधानसभा आम चुनाव 2024 की नामांकन प्रक्रिया आरंभ होने के साथ ही चुनाव लड़ रहे उम्मीदवारों व राजनीतिक दलों के चुनाव प्रचार के समय रोड शो, चुनाव रैलियों के दौरान जनसाधारण को असुविधा न हो इसके लिए उम्मीदवारों व राजनीतिक दलों को भारत निर्वाचन आयोग द्वारा जारी दिशा-निर्देशों की पालना करनी होगी।
जिला निर्वाचन अधिकारी ने कहा कि किसी भी उम्मीदवार या राजनैतिक दल को चुनाव प्रचार के लिए वाहनों की अनुमति लेना जरूरी है, बिना अनुमति के प्रचार में वाहनों का प्रयोग नहीं कर सकते। उम्मीदवार या राजनैतिक दल द्वारा प्रचार में प्रयोग किये जाने वाले जिन वाहनों की जानकारी उपलब्ध करवाई गई है उनका विवरण व्यय पर्यवेक्षक को बताना जरूरी है ताकि उनके चुनाव खर्च में जोड़ा जा सकें। इसके अलावा किसी भी अतिरिक्त वाहन की तैनाती तभी हो सकती है, जब उम्मीदवार या उसके एजेंट द्वारा वाहनों की वास्तविक तैनाती से पूर्व इस आशय की सूचना दी गई हो। चुनाव प्रचार के लिए इस्तेमाल किए जा रहे वाहनों का ब्यौरा देते समय उन क्षेत्रों, तहसीलों का ब्यौरा भी बताना होगा, जिनमें वाहन चलेंगे।

डा. यश गर्ग ने बताया कि चुनाव में प्रचार के लिए वाहनों का उपयोग यातायात नियमों के अनुसार ही करना होगा। सुरक्षा वाहन को छोड़कर 10 से ज्यादा वाहनों के काफिले को चलने की अनुमति नहीं होगी। वाहनों के बड़े काफिले को छोटे छोटे काफिलों में बांटा जाएगा और दो काफिलो में कम से कम 100 मीटर का फासला होना चाहिए। उन्होंने कहा कि जन प्रतिनिधि अधिनियम, 1951 की धारा 160 में परिभाषित साइकिल-रिक्शा भी एक ऐसा वाहन है, जिसका उपयोग चुनाव प्रचार के लिए किया जा सकता है। यदि इसका उपयोग किया जा रहा है, तो उम्मीदवार को अपने चुनाव व्यय खाते में इसके व्यय का हिसाब देना होगा। यह सुनिश्चित करने के लिए, उम्मीदवार को अपने चुनाव प्रचार के लिए उपयोग किए जा रहे ऐसे रिक्शा का विवरण देना होगा और यदि रिक्शा के पास अपनी पहचान के लिए कोई नगरपालिका पंजीकरण/ परमिट नहीं है, तो रिक्शा चालक को रिटर्निंग अधिकारी द्वारा उसके व्यक्तिगत नाम पर एक परमिट दिया जा सकता है, जिसे रिक्शा चालक को अभियान उद्देश्यों के लिए उस रिक्शा का उपयोग करते समय अपने साथ रखना चाहिए।
जिला निर्वाचन अधिकारी ने कहा कि चुनाव प्रचार के दौरान सार्वजनिक मंचों पर या वाहनों पर लगाए गए लाउडस्पीकरों के प्रयोग पर रात 10 बजे से प्रातः 6 बजे तक प्रतिबंध रहेगा। रिटर्निंग अधिकारी हर प्रकार के चुनाव प्रचार पर निगरानी रखेंगे और नियमों की अवहेलना पाए जाने पर नियमानुसार कार्यवाही करेंगे।

पंचकूला सितंबर 4: पिंजौर ब्लॉक के राजकीय आदर्श वरिष्ठ माध्यमिक विद्यालय कालका में खंड स्तरीय सांस्कृतिक उत्सव का आयोजन बड़े धूमधाम से किया गया । इसमें खंड के लगभग 400 से अधिक छात्र छात्राओं ने भाग लिया। कार्यक्रम का शुभारंभ पिंजौर ब्लॉक के खंड शिक्षा अधिकारी श्री मती सीमा रानी और प्रिंसिपल पिंजौर और प्रिंसिपल बाड़ गोदाम के द्वारा दीप प्रज्वलन के साथ किया गया। विद्यालय के प्रधानाचार्य श्री राजकुमार आर्य ने मुख्य अतिथियों का पुष्प गुच्छ देकर स्वागत किया और सभी प्रतिभागियों को उनकी परफॉर्मेंस के लिए शुभकामनाएं दी।

*Chandigarh, September 4:-* The Municipal Corporation Chandigarh will conduct quarterly sports meets among its employees and councilors from October, 2024 onwards.
While announcing this here today during the prize distribution ceremony held here today at MC office, city Mayor Sh. Kuleep Kumar said that sports games will not only relieve the employees from stress but is also good for their health. He said that an agenda regarding this will be brought to the ensuing General House Meeting for final decision that after every three months there will be sports tournaments among the councilors and employees of MC Chandigarh.
He said that the sports meet was organized by the Municipal Corporation Chandigarh at sports stadium, Sector 7 to commemorate birthday of India’s Hockey Legend Major Dhyan Chand on 30th August. He remembered India’s hockey legend Major Dhyan Chand for his dedication, determination and sporting spirit for the team and Nation.
He said that separate teams MCC for different games will be constituted and employees will be provided proper training by the coaches during the tournaments which will not only brought a good name for the Corporation but also for the City Beautiful.
The Mayor and Joint Commissioner Mrs. Isha Kamboj awarded mementos and certificates to the winners of different games including 100 meter race, 400 meter race, volleyball, badminton, tug of war (pulling the rope), chess and carom for men and women categories.
