Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has extended the last date for online admission to all Masters, Bachelors, PG Diploma and Diploma programs (except Certificate programmes) and online Re-registration of all Masters and Bachelors for the session July, 2024 session till 10th Septembber, 2024. Dr. Bhanu Pratap Singh, Senior Regional Director of IGNOU Regional Center Chandigarh informed that interested applicants can apply through online link for admission to any Masters, Bachelors, PG Diploma and Diploma programs of their choice: https://ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in/ which is available on IGNOU website www.ignou.ac.in.

SC/ST students will be admitted without charging any fee in some of the Diploma/PG Diploma & Graduate Programmes and they will have to apply online and to upload all necessary documents for fee exemption. Dr.  Bhanu Pratap Singh, Senior Regional Director of IGNOU Regional Centre Chandigarh informed that students should Re-registered to the subsequent year/semester till 10th September, 2024 for July, 2024 session to continue their study. For Re-registration process the candidate has to register himself/herself (if not registered) on the official website i.e. https://onlinerr.ignou.ac.in/ . Whereas those who have already registered can simply login with the id- password and fill up the registration and submit the requisite fees online. In case a learner faces any difficulty he/she can approach the RC Chandigarh office for support.

   उन्होंने बताया कि जो छात्र वर्तमान सत्र 2024-25 में सरकारी अथवा सरकार द्वारा मान्यता प्राप्त विद्यालय की कक्षा 5 में अध्ययनरत है और उन विद्यार्थियों का जन्म 01 मई 2013 से 31 जुलाई 2015 दोनों तिथियां के मध्य हो। साथ ही विद्यार्थी जिला पंचकूला का निवासी हो, वह निशुल्क ऑनलाइन आवेदन फॉर्म भर सकते हैं। उन्होंने बताया कि अभिभावक नवोदय विद्यालय की वेबसाइट www.navodaya.gov.in के माध्यम से ऑनलाइन आवेदन कर सकते हैं। परीक्षा 18 जनवरी 2025 को होगी। आवेदन फॉर्म संबंधित जानकारी के लिए परीक्षा प्रभारी श्री दलीप कुमार 9816159535 और श्री गुलबीर सिंह 94663 60928 से संपर्क किया जा सकता है ।

पंचकूला, 3 सितम्बर – उपायुक्त एवं जिला निर्वाचन अधिकारी डा. यश गर्ग ने बताया कि हरियाणा विधानसभा आम चुनाव-2024 के लिए जिला की दोनों विधानसभाओं में नामांकन करवाने की तैयारियां पूरी कर ली गई हैं। उन्होंने बताया कि 01-कालका विधानसभा के लिए एसडीएम कार्यालय कालका में और 02-पंचकूला विधानसभा के लिए लघु सचिवालय पंचकूला स्थित एसडीएम कोर्ट रूम में प्रत्याशी/ उम्मीदवार नामांकन कर सकेंगे।

डा. यश गर्ग ने बताया कि जिला की कालका और पंचकूला दोनों विधानसभाओं में नामांकन के लिए रिटर्निंग अधिकारियों द्वारा अधिकारियों-कर्मचारियों की डयूटी लगा दी गई है। साथ ही नामांकन प्रक्रिया की रिहर्सल भी कर ली गई है। उन्होंने बताया कि हरियाणा विधानसभा आम चुनाव-2024 की पांच सितम्बर को अधिसूचना जारी होगी। अधिसूचना के साथ कालका और पंचकूला विधानसभा चुनाव के लिए नामांकन प्रक्रिया शुरू हो जाएगी। उन्होंने बताया कि 12 सितम्बर तक किसी भी कार्यदिवस में सुबह 11 बजे से दोपहर 3 बजे तक प्रत्याशी / उम्मीदवार अपने नामांकन दाखिल कर सकेंगे।

जिला निर्वाचन अधिकारी ने बताया कि प्रत्याशी / उम्मीदवार को निर्वाचन आयोग द्वारा निर्धारत फार्मों के साथ नामांकन पत्र जमा करवाना होगा। इनमें फार्म-2बी, फार्म-26 एफिडेविट, बैंक अकाउंट (नया), तीन फोटो, वोट का ब्योरा (विधानसभा क्षेत्र सहित) और व्यक्तिगत जानकारी डाक्यूमंेट सहित शामिल करनी होगी। उन्होंने बताया कि प्रत्याशी / उम्मीदवार को जमानत राशि भी जमा करवानी होगी।

डा. यश गर्ग ने बताया कि जिला की कालका विधानसभा और पंचकूला विधानसभा सीट अनारक्षित सीट है। इस सीट पर प्रत्याशी / उम्मीदवार से सिक्योरिटी राशि के तौर 10 हजार रूपये जमा करवाने हैं। यदि कोई प्रत्याशी / उम्मीदवार अनुसूचित वर्ग या आरक्षित वर्ग से आवेदन करता है और आवेदन पत्र के साथ अनुसूचित जाति या आरक्षित वर्ग का जाति प्रमाण पत्र साथ संग्लित करता है तो उससे पांच हजार रूपये सिक्योरिटी राशि जमा करवाई जानी है। उन्होंने बताया कि सिक्योरिटी राशि चालान या नकद ही ली जाएगी। इसके अलावा अन्य किसी भी मोड से सिक्योरिटी राशि स्वीकार नहीं की जाएगी।

जिला निर्वाचन अधिकारी ने बताया कि जिला की दोनों विधानसभाओं में कुल 4,33,369 वोटर हैं, इनमें 2,27,053 पुरूष वोटर, 2,06,290 महिला वोटर और 26 वोटर थर्ड जेंडर शामिल हैं। 01-कालका विधानसभा में 2,00,297 वोटर शामिल हैं, इनमें 1,04,426 पुरूष वोटर 95,853 महिला वोटर और 18 वोटर थर्ड जेंडर शामिल हैं। 02-पंचकूला विधानसभा में 2,33,072 वोटर शामिल हैं इनमें 1,22,627 पुरूष वोटर, 1,10,437 महिला वोटर और आठ वोटर थर्ड जेंडर शामिल हैं। उन्होंने बताया कि जिला निवार्चन कार्यालय द्वारा दो सितम्बर तक नये वोट बनाने के लिए आवेदन लिए गए हैं। जो आवेदन कार्यालय में प्राप्त हुए हैं, उन्हें वोटर लिस्ट में शामिल करने की प्रक्रिया जारी है, जो जल्द ही पूरी कर ली जाएगी।

जिला निर्वाचन अधिकारी ने अपील करते हुए कहा कि सभी मतदाता पांच अक्तूबर को मतदान केन्द्रों पर पहुंचकर अपने मत का प्रयोग अवश्य करें।

पंचकूला सितंबर 3: बरवाला के राजकीय वरिष्ठ माध्यमिक विद्यालय रत्तेवाली में खंड स्तरीय सांस्कृतिक उत्सव का आयोजन बड़े धूमधाम से किया गया । इसमें खंड के लगभग 250 से अधिक छात्र छात्राओं ने भाग लिया।कार्यक्रम का शुभारंभ बरवाला ब्लॉक के खंड शिक्षा अधिकारी श्री जोगिंदर लाठर और बीआरसी श्री रमेश बत्रा के द्वारा दीप प्रज्वलन के साथ किया गया।विद्यालय की प्रधानाचार्या श्रीमती कविता ने मुख्य अतिथियों का पुष्प गुच्छ देकर स्वागत किया और सभी प्रतिभागियों को उनके प्रदर्शन के लिए शुभकामनाएं दी। 

        जिला कल्चरल कोऑर्डिनेटर दीपा रानी ने बताया कि इस सांस्कृतिक उत्सव में कक्षा 5 से 8 तथा कक्षा 9 से 12 के विद्यार्थी फोक ग्रुप डांस लोक ,फोक डांस सोलो, रागिनी ,स्किट ,सोलो म्यूजिक और सोलो डांस में भाग लेते हैं तथा ब्लॉक स्तर पर विजेता बच्चे जिला स्तरीय सांस्कृतिक उत्सव में अपनी प्रस्तुतियां देते हैं ।

Chandigarh, September 3:- Sh. Kuldeep Kumar, Mayor of Chandigarh today distributed Praise awards 2023-24 to the best performer banks under PM SVANIDHI scheme at a state level award ceremony organized at Rani Laxmi Bai Mahila Bhawan, Sector 38, here in the presence of Sh. Yogesh Dhingra, area councilor, Mrs. Isha Kamboj, Joint Commissioner, Sh. Hari Singh Gumra, Chief LDM, Chandigarh, Sh. Vivek Trivedi, Social Development Officer, DAY-NULM, Chandigarh and other concerned officials of MC and banks.

In the award ceremony, Municipal Corporation Chandigarh was conferred Best in Svandhi Se Samriddhi category, and Punjab National Bank and Bank of Baroda was given Best Performing Banks under PM SVANidhi, whereas 10 Bank Branches comprised of Bank of Baroda, Grain Market, Bank of Maharashtra, Sector-47- C, Central Bank of India, Sector 37- C, Punjab National Bank, Sector-22, Punjab National Bank, Ind. While addressing the gathering, the Mayor said that Chandigarh has mobilized 10, 358 applications, and 8563 applications were sanctioned with a loan amount of Rs. 13.8 cr. whereas 7978 applications were disbursed with a loan amount of Rs. 12.55 cr giving benefits to approx. 4900 registered street vendors in Chandigarh. 96.89% of PM SVANidhi beneficiaries were profiled with the identification of 11472 new members for eight social security schemes for the members of street vendors.

On this occasion, the Mayor also distributed Parichay Board issued by the Government of India along with a letter from Prime Minister to PM SVANidhi beneficiaries. In addition, officials engaged in the implementation of PM SVANdhi were also appreciated by the Mayor Chandigarh.

In the programme, bank officials, street vendors, PM SVANidhi beneficiaries and members of the Town Vending Committee and members of Area Level Federation and City Level Federation, NGOs participated.

Also, sessions were organized on various subjects like Financial Literacy, Financial Inclusion, PoshanAbhiyan, Social Security schemes and a camp was installed at the venue in the programme.
