हरियाणा सरकार ने सोमवार व मंगलवार दुकानें बंद करने के फैसले को वापस ले लिया हे यह जानकारी गृहमंत्री अनिल विज ने अपने ट्वीट के जरिए दी हे श्री विज मे लिखा, केंद्र सरकार ने अनलॉक 4 में प्रदेश सरकारों को लॉक डाउन करने का अधिकार नही दिया है इसलिए हरियाणा सरकार का दिनांक 28 अगस्त को जारी सोमवार और मंगलवार को बाज़ार बंद रखने का आदेश वापिस ले लिया है । इसलिए अब कोई लॉक डाउन नही होगा ।
बता दें कि एक सितंबर से शुरू होने वाले अनलॉक के लिए गृह मंत्रालय ने शनिवार को दिशानिर्देश जारी किए है। हालांकि गृह मंत्रालय ने कहा है कि कंटेनमेंट जोन में 30 सितंबर तक लॉकडाउन सख्ती से लागू रहेगा। केंद्रीय गृह मंत्रालय ने सभी राज्यों को कहा है कि आप कंटेनमेंट जोन के बाहर अपना लोकल लॉकडाउन नहीं लगा सकते। यह इसलिए अहम है क्योंकि केंद्र सरकार के लॉकडाउन हटाने के बाद बहुत से राज्य अपना लॉकडाउन लगा रहे थे।

University Institute of Engineering and Technology (UIET), Panjab University inaugurated TEQIP-III sponsored three days online international conference entitled “INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON INTEGRATED INTERDISCIPLINARY INNOVATIONS IN ENGINEERING” on 28th August 2020.
The conference scheduled from 28th to 30th August 2020 is being organized under twining activity of TEQIP-III in collaboration with Govt. college of Engineering and Technology Jammu under the guidance and patronage of Prof. Raj Kumar, Vice Chancellor, Panjab University, Prof. Savita Gupta, Director UIET, Panjab University, Chandigarh and Dr. Sameru Sharma, Principal, Government College of Engineering and Technology, Jammu. The technical program is enriched with internationally reputed speakers scheduled to give ten plenary talks, twelve invited talks, eight short invited talks and 200 oral/poster presentations from participants from various institutes from India and abroad.
The Conference Chair Prof. R. K. Singla, Dean University Instruction, Panjab University delivered the welcome address. Prof. Singla emphasized on the application of various interdisciplinary innovations in our life. He also said that the conference will provide a valuable opportunity for the researchers, scientists, academicians, industry specialists and decision makers to share their experiences on a common platform.
Prof. V. R. Sinha, Dean Research, Guest of Honour, stated that the conference will serve as an effective platform to learn, share, supplement learning while keeping abreast with the latest developments in the respective areas. He also stated that in this pandemic era of COVID-19, the conference will definitely benefit the research students.
Prof. Savita Gupta, Director, UIET elucidated the theme of the conference. She also quoted the role of interdisciplinary research as the base of many great discoveries and cited examples of great scientists. She said that the objective of this conference is to bring active researchers and experts from various disciplines to showcase their state of art research results and to integrate interdisciplinary connections amongst them.
Chief guest Prof. P. M. Khodke, Central Project Advisor, NPIU, Govt. of India, delivered his inaugural address online. He stated that in past few decades engineering faculty are playing a major role in solving many societal and industrial problems and in future, the technical education will become boundaryless. He discussed about the MHRD ‘IMRINT’ program and its importance. He also discussed the role of World Bank assisted TEQIP in improving Engineering/Technical education. He also emphasized on collaborative research. He motivated the participants & set the tone of the conference.

किसी राज्य के अंदर या दूसरे राज्य से आने जाने पर कोई पाबंदी नहीं होगी।
(i) सिनेमा हॉल, स्विमिंग पूल, मनोरंजन पार्क, थिएटर (ओपन एयर थिएटर को छोड़कर) और इसी तरह के स्थान। (ii) MHA द्वारा अनुमति के अलावा यात्रियों की अंतर्राष्ट्रीय हवाई यात्रा।
30 सितंबर, 2020 तक कंटेनर जोन में लॉकडाउन को सख्ती से लागू किया जाएगा।
ट्रांसमिशन जोन की श्रृंखला को प्रभावी ढंग से तोड़ने के उद्देश्य से MoHFW के दिशानिर्देशों को ध्यान में रखने के बाद जिला स्तर पर सूक्ष्म स्तर पर कंटेनर जोन का सीमांकन किया जाएगा। इन रोकथाम क्षेत्रों में सख्त रोकथाम उपायों को लागू किया जाएगा और केवल आवश्यक गतिविधियों की अनुमति दी जाएगी। नियंत्रण क्षेत्र के भीतर, सख्त परिधि नियंत्रण बनाए रखा जाएगा और केवल आवश्यक गतिविधियों की अनुमति दी जाएगी।
ये कंटेनर ज़ोन संबंधित जिला कलेक्टरों की वेबसाइट पर और राज्यों / केंद्रशासित प्रदेशों द्वारा अधिसूचित किए जाएंगे और जानकारी भी MOHFW के साथ साझा की जाएगी।
राज्यों को कंटेनर ज़ोन के बाहर किसी भी स्थानीय लॉकडाउन को लागू करने के लिए नहीं राज्य / केन्द्र शासित प्रदेश सरकारें केंद्र सरकार के पूर्व परामर्श के बिना, किसी भी स्थानीय लॉकडाउन (राज्य / जिला / उप-विभाग / शहर / गाँव स्तर) को, ज़ोन के बाहर नहीं लगाएंगी।
अंतर-राज्य और अंतर-राज्य आंदोलन पर कोई प्रतिबंध नहीं
व्यक्तियों और वस्तुओं के अंतर-राज्य और अंतर-राज्य आंदोलन पर कोई प्रतिबंध नहीं होगा। इस तरह के आंदोलनों के लिए अलग से अनुमति / अनुमोदन / ई-परमिट की आवश्यकता नहीं होगी।

On the occasion of National Sports Day today, the Hon’ble President of India Sh. Ram Nath Kovind in the presence of Union Minister of Youth Affairs and Sports Sh. Kiren Rijiju and several other dignitaries virtually conferred various National Sports and Adventure Awards 2020 from a ceremony at Rashtrapati Bhawan, New Delhi. The much coveted Maulana Abul Kalam Azad(MAKA) Trophy for overall top performing University in Inter-University Tournaments has been awarded to Panjab University, Chandigarh for the second time in a row.
Prof. Raj Kumar, Vice Chancellor, PU attended the virtual ceremony from Chandigarh. Later, he addressed the employees of the Directorate of Sports, PU at the Gymnasium Hall. He appreciated the efforts of the Sports Authority of India for virtually organizing the ceremony despite all odds due to Covid 19 pandemic. PU VC lauded the commendable achievement of the PU sports persons, coaches and the entire team of Directorate of Sports under the leadership of Prof. Parminder Singh, Director and Dr. Rakesh Malik, Deputy Director and extended his heartiest congratulations. He assured of all necessary help and support to the Sports Department for taking the Sports in PU to further heights.
Dr. Parminder Singh assured that with all supports from PU VC, concerted efforts will be made for improvement in the coming year in order to make a hat-trick for MAKA Trophy.

वेबिनार के मुख्य अतिथि गुजरात के माननीय राज्यपाल आचार्य देवव्रत जी थे। प्रो आर.के. सिंगला DUI, पंजाब विश्वविद्यालय ने मुख्य अतिथि का परिचय दिया और पंजाब विश्वविद्यालय की ओर से गर्मजोशी से स्वागत किया।
प्रो राज कुमार कुलपति ने अपने संबोधन में कहा कि पंजाब विश्वविद्यालय में हमने विभाग स्तर पर NEP 2020 के कार्यान्वयन के बारे में विचार-मंथन प्रारम्भ कर दिया है और इस के लिए गंभीर एवं युद्धस्तर पर प्रयास शुरू कर दिए हैं। “हम नीति के संबंध में हम पंजाब विश्वविद्यालय की बौद्धिक क्षमताओं का इष्टतम उपयोग करना चाहते हैं। पंजाब विश्वविद्यालय का प्रत्येक विभाग यह योजना बना रहा हैं कि इस नीति को इसकी श्रेष्ठ आत्मा में कैसे लागू किया जा सकता है। चूँकि हमारा यह विश्वविद्यालय मानविकी से लेकर चिकित्सा विज्ञान तक के प्रत्येक शैक्षणिक क्षेत्र में काम करता है और इस प्रकार के विषय केंद्रित विचारों के मंथन के परिणाम पूरे भारतीय शिक्षा प्रणाली के लिए बहुत उपयोगी हो सकते हैं ।” उन्होंने कहा वेबिनार के मुख्य अतिथि आचार्य देवव्रत उन्होंने बताया कि एनईपी के बारे में राष्ट्रव्यापी स्तर पर यह हमारे लिए समझने का समय है कि देश भर में इसके विभिन्न कारकों को किस आकार पर प्रभाव में लाया जायेगा , इस एनईपी में कई अच्छे तत्व हैं जैसे इसमें समस्या और लक्ष्य अच्छी तरह से स्पष्ट किये गए हैं; यह साक्ष्य आधारित नीति है और विभिन्न हितधारकों द्वारा व्यापक समर्थन के साथ सारगर्भित की गई है।’अनुपम सोच और विकास चिंतन’ ‘मनुष्य को मानव बनाने की परंपरा का भाव इस शिक्षा नीति में समाहित है’ एनईपी 2020 में किए गए सुधार न केवल परिवर्तनकारी हैं, बल्कि वर्तमान शिक्षा प्रणाली के बहुत जरूरी व्यापक बदलाव का प्रतिनिधित्व भी करते हैं। सबसे महत्वपूर्ण बात यह है कि ये सुधार एनईपी 2020 के अभिन्न अंग के रूप में आते हैं और इस नीति की दृष्टि को साकार करने के लिए महत्वपूर्ण हैं। यह ध्यान में रखा जाना चाहिए कि एनईपी में सभी लक्ष्यों को धन की आवश्यकता नहीं है। एनईपी के कई परिवर्तन ऐसे हैं जो प्रभावी शिक्षक-शिक्षण प्रक्रियाओं, शैक्षणिक और प्रशासनिक प्रक्रियाओं को अपना कर एटीट्यूडिनल परिवर्तनों की आवश्यकता को प्राप्त करते हैं। उन्होंने आशा जताई की इस नीति से हमारी स्किल आधारित शिक्षा तथा बुनियादी शिक्षा को बढ़ावा मिलेगा वर्तमान परिप्रेक्ष्य में इसमें शिक्षा से लेकर सभी को सस्ती और कौशल विकास शिक्षा जैसे कई गुण हैं, लेकिन वहीं इसका कार्यान्वयन भी चुनौतीपूर्ण है। उन्होंने इसके व्यापक रूप को समझने और लागू करने पर जोर दिया।

Teachers from Ankur School, Panjab University, Chandigarh and Sehjot Sr. Sec. Dhanas (UT) Chandigarh along with students of Department of LifeLong Learning participated.

Chandigarh, August 28:- A meeting of Slum, Colonies and village development committee, Municipal Corporation Chandigarh held here today under the chairmanship of Sh. Bharat Kumar and attended by other members of committee namely Sh. Hardeep Singh, Sh. Jagtar Singh Jagga, Sh. Mahesh Inder Singh Siddhu and concerned officers of the MCC.During the meeting the members discussed various issues related to the slums, colonies and villages and decided that roads in Manimajra and Hallomajra be recarpetted immediate after the monsoon season.
The committee members also asked the concerned engineers of Horticulture wing to clean the parks and green belts in the villages besides pruning of trees.

Panjab University Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Raj Kumar was today conferred with the Rank of ‘Honorary Colonel’ and appointment of ‘Colonel Commandant’ in the National Cadet Corps (NCC) which is granted by Government of India through a Gazette Notification and is an honour granted to distinguished persons who can motivate NCC cadets and contribute in furtherance of NCC activities.
The honorary rank and certificate issued by Lt. Gen. Rajeev Chopra, PVSM, AVSM, Director General NCC, New Delhi were presented by Major General Beji Mathews, ADG, NCC Directorate, Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh and Chandigarh and Brig. Harsh Chhibber, Group Commander, NCC Group Headquarters, Chandigarh at Group Headquarter, Chandigarh. 2nd Chandigarh Bn NCC is responsible for NCC activities in Panjab University and provides training and coordinates social service contribution by cadets.
Prof. Raj Kumar is the only officer to hold this coveted rank in Chandigarh.

Chandigarh, August 27:-The Municipal Corporation Chandigarh has auctioned 4 shops at Terraced Garden, Sector 33, Chandigarh on monthly license fee basis for 5 year @ Rs. 17000/- plus GST as applicable per month against the reserve price of Rs. 14000/-.
The auction was conducted in the presence of Sh. Rajesh Gupta and Smt. Ravinder Kaur Gujral councilors as observers and committee members Sh. Satish Kumar Jain, Additional Commissioner, Chief Accounts officer and Executive Engineer Roads division No.2. The MCC fetched Rs. 42000/- as shape of EMD for the 4 shops.
