Chandigarh, May 28:- A meeting of Sanitation Committee, Municipal Corporation Chandigarh was held here today under the chairmanship of Sh. Bharat Kumar and attended by Sh. Ravi Kant Sharma, Mayor and other members of committee namely Sh. Jagtar Singh, Sh. Shakti Parkash Devshali, Smt. Asha Jaswal, Ms. Shipra Bansal, Smt. Sunita Dhawan, Sh. Charanjiv Singh, Smt. Sheela Devi, Smt. Farmila, Dr. Amrit Warring, MOH and concerned Chief Sanitary Inspectors of MCC.

During the meeting the committee members discussed various important issues besides according approval to agenda items.

·        The committee members asked the concerned officers to remove dry leaves from the road berms/road sides. The MOH apprised the committee members that the MCC has ordered to hire sufficient tractor trollys to be engaged for lifting of dry leaves and horticulture waste throughout city and the backlog will be cleared within 15 days.

·        The committee asked the MOH to prepare proper plan to lift horticulture waste from households and road berms from city.

·        The Mayor requested all the councilors to participate in the month long Swachh Bharat Abhiyan launched on 20th May and get their areas waste free and malba free till June 19th.

·        The committee members said that balance of manpower deputed throughout city for sanitation purpose be maintained area wise and asked all the Chief Sanitary Inspectors to submit specified requirement of manpower and deployed present strength at their respective areas for cleaning of roads and other areas.

·        The committee members discussed the door to door waste collection of garbage issue of sector 21 and asked the MOH to bring agenda about this after seeking legal opinion into this matter. The committee decided that Chairman of Sanitation Committee and Medical Officer of Health will hold meeting with the representatives of door to door waste collectors of Sector 21 and sort out the issue at the earliest.

·        The committee members pointed out that the Sub Inspectors of sanitation department will ensure waste collection from the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th floors of households by the waste collectors to avoid complaints of citizens.

·        The committee asked the concerned CSIs to ensure proper feedback from the citizens/households in regard to door to door waste collection system.

·        The members were of the view that percentage of death cases be fixed in new appointments to avoid any kind of discrimination with the other categories.

Sophisticated Analytical Instrumentation Facility, Panjab University has added another High end instrument in its basket. The advanced Mass spectrometer “MALDI Synapt XS HD Mass Spectrometer facility was inaugurated by Professor Raj Kumar, Vice-Chancellor PU. 

Professor G R Chaudhary, Director SAIF and Dr. Ramesh Sharma said that the instrument is equipped with  Electron Spray Ionization (ESI) as well as Matrix Assisted Laser Desorption Ionization(MALDI) source and has Ultrahigh liquid  Chromatography(UPLC) and Nanospray as the inlet options. Ion mobility and Electron-transfer dissociation features give an edge to instruments for advanced research. This configuration is the first of its kind in the country as this will record diversified types of samples from small to macro molecules such as biological protein, peptide bacteria and fungus

Professor Raj Kumar appreciated the efforts of the Director and staff of SAIF for working effortlessly even in the difficult time of this  Pandemic situation. He also apprised the scientists present there about the achievement of SAIF in the last year where this department has analyzed the highest number of samples among all the SAIF centers in the country.

                         पुलिस प्रवक्ता नें जानकारी देते हुए बताया कि जिला पंचकूला में महामारी अलर्ट- सुरक्षित हरियाणा के तहत लाकडाऊन की उल्लंघना करनें वालों के खिलाफ कडी कार्यवाई की जा रही है जो कल दिनाक 25 मई 2021 को पुलिस चौकी सैक्टर 25 के इन्चार्ज दीदार सिह व इन्सीडैण्ट कमाण्डर सुनील जाघड की टीम नें लाकडाऊन की उल्लंघना करनें वालें सैलून के खिलाफ कडी कार्यवाई करते हुए तीन आरोपियो को गिरफ्तार किया गया है । गिरफ्तार कियें गये आरोपियो की पहचान शिया वासी सकेतडी, दीपिका तथा शशी जागलान पुत्र प्रताप सिह के रुप में हुई ।

जानकारी के मुताबिक कल दिनाक 25 मई 2021 को इन्सीडैण्ट कमाण्डर व पुलिस चौकी सैक्टर 25 की टीम कोविड-19 की डयुटी के सम्बन्ध में सैक्टर 25 पंचकूला की मार्किट में मौजूद थी । जो एक एक स्पा एवं सैलून पार्लर 12.00 बजे के बाद भी खुला मिला । जो कोविड -19 महामारी अलर्ट- सुरक्षित हरियाणा के तहत शाप को खुलनें के लिए 12.00 बजे तक की अनुमति सम तथा विषम में दी हुई है । इसके बावजुद भी मार्डन, सपा एवं सैलून पार्लर, सैक्टर 25 मौके पर खुला मिला । सैलून पर 02 लडकिया व 1 लडका मौजूद मिला जिसनें खिलाफ धारा 188, 269, 270 भा0 द0 स0 व 51-B डिजास्टर मैनेंजमैन्ट एक्ट 2005 के तहत पुलिस थाना चण्डीमन्दिर में मामला दर्ज करके आऱोपियो को गिरफ्तार किया जाकर कार्यवाई अमल में लाई गई ।

पंचकूला 26 मई । उपायुक्त मुकेश कुमार आहुजा ने बताया कि जिला में चलाए जा रहे टीकाकरण अभियान के तहत अब तक 2 लाख 8 हजार 807 को वैक्सीनेशन किया गया है। इसमें से एक लाख 59 हजार 900 व्यक्तियों को पहली खुराक तथा 48 हजार 907 को दूसरी खुराक लगाई गई है।

उपायुक्त ने बताया कि आज 1397 व्यक्तियों को वैक्सिनेशन लगाई गई इसमें 1256 को पहली खुराक और 91 को दूसरी खुराक दी गई।


हरियाणा ग्रामीण स्वास्थ्य परीक्षण योजना के अन्तर्गत स्वास्थ्य विभाग द्वारा ग्रामीणों के स्वास्थ्य की जांच घर-घर जाकर की जा रही है।


उपायुक्त ने बताया कि वर्तमान महामारी के परिदृश्य में कोविड लक्षणों की जांच करना और टी-3 अर्थात (टॉक, टेस्ट और ट्रीट) को अपनाना अनिवार्य कर दिया है। लेकिन यह स्कीम केवल कोविड जांच तक सिमित नहीं होगी बल्कि सभी ग्रामीणों का सामान्य स्वास्थ्य परीक्षण भी किया जा रहा है।

          उपायुक्त ने बताया कि ग्राम स्तरीय टीमों की सरचंना गांव की फील्ड टीम एवम् मुख्यालय टीम बनाई गई है।


उन्होंने बताया कि सभी फील्ड टीमें गांव में घर-घर जाकर सर्वे कर रही है और मुख्यालय टीम गांव में केंद्रित स्थान पर बैठ कर स्वास्थ्य शिविर में स्क्रीनिंग एवम् जांच का कार्य कर रही है।
उपायुक्त ने बताया कि गांव की फील्ड टीम और मुख्यालय टीम लोगों को स्वास्थ्य शिविर में भेजने और सामाजिक दूरी और कोविड नियमों की पालना करते हुए लोगो को स्वास्थ्य लाभ दे रही है।
हर रोज गावों में टीमें सर्वे कार्य कर रही है और कम लक्षण वालो को होम आइसोलेट कर स्वास्थ्य किट प्रदान कर रही है। जिला के लगभग 145 गांवो में यह कार्य कर लिया गया है जिसे जल्द ही पूरा कर लिया जाएगा।

University Institute of Fashion Technology & Vocational Development, (UIFT & VD), Panjab University started with a webinar series titled “Mind Marathon” on May 25, 2021. “This series has been launched at a time when there is a lot of anxiety and other mental health difficulties, and it will help not only students but society as a whole,” said Dr. Anu H. Gupta, Chairperson . The webinar drew around 90 people, including faculty from various institutions and colleges, research experts, and students.

The speaker for the first webinar in this series titled “Exploring Anxiety: Stressors and Coping” was Dr. Sheba Singh, a consultant psychologist in Nahar Medical Centre and an academician from Mumbai.  She discussed the technical aspects of the anxiety’s operation. In light of the challenging times of this second wave of Covid 19, she entailed a discourse of the new anxieties developing in the health workers, patients, students and their family members. Her experience of 20 years in the field of psychology reflected in her simplified approach of making a dialogue with the students undergoing signs of anxiety and depression. An explanation on the Covid stress consisting of different stages viz. pre-Covid, during Covid, and post-Covid helped the audience to recognize the need of coping with these for better mental health. All participants took part in a practical activity in which they measured their stress levels. She elaborated a number of self-help techniques, including allied practices like deep breathing, yoga, exercise, listening to music, planning an activity calendar in advance and following it, and keeping in touch with friends and family members on a regular basis.

टीबी रोग उन्मूलन को लेकर वर्चुअल माध्यम से वर्कशॉप आयोजित

पंचकूला, 25 मई। स्वास्थ्य विभाग की महानिदेशक डा. वीना सिंह ने कहा कि केंद्र सरकार की ओर से वर्ष 2025 तक टीबी यानी ट्यूबरक्लोसिस जैसी खतरनाक बीमारी को खत्म करने का संकल्प लिया गया है। प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी द्वारा टीबी हारेगा-देश जीतेगा का नारा दिया गया है। इसी संकल्प को पूरा करने के उद्देश्य से स्वास्थ्य विभाग द्वारा गंभीरता व योजनाबद्ध तरीके से कार्य किया जा रहा है।


स्वास्थ्य विभाग की महानिदेशक वर्चुवल बैठक के माध्यम से टीबी रोग उन्मूलन को लेकर विभिन्न विभागों के अधिकारियों की वर्कशॉप को संबोधित कर रही थी। उन्होंने कहा कि टीबी रोग के बारे में नागरिकों को दी जा रही निशुल्क स्वास्थ्य सुविधाओं का ज्यादा से ज्यादा प्रचार प्रसार करें और कोरोना की तर्ज पर प्रभावित क्षेत्रों को चिन्ह्ति करें।


उन्होंनेे वर्चुवल बैठक से जुडने पर सभी को शुभकामनाएं दी और कहा कि हम सबको मिलकर टीबी के खिलाफ एक जन आंदोलन के रूप में कार्य करना होगा तभी 2025 तक प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी के टीबी रोग मुक्त भारत के सपने को साकार किया जा सकता है। उन्होंने कहा कि टीबी रोग को जड़मूल से खत्म करने के लिए सामूहिक संकल्प के साथ धरातल स्तर पर काम करना होगा। इसके साथ-साथ स्लम एरिया, ईंट भट्टे, मजदूर कॉलोनियों व जिला जेल पर फोक्स किया जाए ताकि कोई भी टीबी रोग पीडित उपचार से वंचित न रहे। प्रदेश में टीबी को जड़ से खत्म करने के लिए सभी एकजुट होकर साथ आएंगे और सभी का सहयोग मिलेगा, तभी हमारा यह नारा टीबी हारेगा देश जीतेगा सफल होगा।

डॉ. वीना सिंह ने कहा कि प्रदेश से टीबी उन्मूलन के लिए व्यापक स्तर पर अभियान चलाया जाएगा। प्रदेश में टीबी रोग को लेकर सरकार पूरी तरह से गंभीर है तथा महत्वपूर्ण कदम उठाए जा रहे हैं। इसके चलते सरकार ने यह निर्णय लिया है कि जो भी व्यक्ति अपने आसपास टीबी ग्रस्त मरीज की सूचना सरकारी अस्पताल में देगा तो उसे पांच सौ रुपये की प्रोत्साहन राशि दी जाएगी, ताकि प्रत्येक मरीज को जल्द से जल्द चिह्नित करके उसे समुचित उपचार प्रदान किया जा सके।


उन्होंने आह्वड्ढान किया कि टीबी मुक्त भारत के मिशन की सफलता के लिए समाज का हर वर्ग आगे आकर अपना सहयोग व योगदान दें और ग्रामीण स्तर पर प्रचार-प्रसार के माध्यम से नागरिकों को टीबी उन्मूलन के बारे में जागरूक करें। इसके साथ-साथ आमजन को सरकार द्वारा टीबी रोगियों को दी जाने वाली स्वास्थ्य सुविधाओं के बारे में भी अवगत करवाया जाए ताकि कोई भी टीबी रोगी उपचार या सुविधाओं से वंचित न रहे।

इस मौके पर स्वास्थ्य विभाग के अधिकारियों ने बताया कि टीबी के मरीजों के लिए पोषण आहार योजना के माध्यम से उपचार के दौरान पीडि़तों की 500 रुपये प्रतिमाह आर्थिक मदद दी जाती है। विभाग यह राशि मरीज के बैंक अकाउंट में जमा करता है। मरीज को विभाग तक ले जाने पर गांव में आशा वर्कर, आरएमपी डॉक्टर, निजी अस्पताल व अन्य कोई भी व्यक्ति अगर टीबी मरीज को लेकर स्वास्थ्य विभाग के पास लेकर आता है और टेस्ट करने पर मरीज टीबी से पीडि़त पाया जाता हैं तो उसे भी प्रोत्साहन राशि के रूप में 500 रुपये दिए जाते हैं। टीबी मरीज का 6 माह का कोर्स होता है। सभी सरकारी जांच केंद्रों पर रोगियों की जांच निशुल्क की जाती है। जांच केंद्रों पर रोगी के बलगम के सैंपल की जांच करवाई जाती हैं और जांच में यदि टीबी पाई जाती है तो अगले दो दिनों मे उसका इलाज शुरू कर दिया जाता है।

पंचकूला 25 मई- हरियाणा विधानसभा अध्यक्ष ज्ञानचंद गुप्ता ने कहा कि कोविड के दौरान आने वाली समस्याओं के निपटान एवं मानसिक तौर पर सशक्त व मजबूत बनाने की दिशा में ट्राईसिटी का पहला कोविड केयर संेटर पंचकूला वासियों के लिए बड़ा ही कारगर साबित होगा।


श्री गुप्ता सैक्टर 9 की आयुष डिस्पेंसरी में पोस्ट कोविड केयर सेंटर का उदघाटन करने के बाद बातचीत कर रहे थे। उन्हांेने कहा कि कोविड में आयुष विभाग का भी बड़ा योगदान रहा है। इसके लिए विभाग के अधिकारी बधाई के पात्र हैं। आयुष विभाग ने -उमंग है यहां जीवन है वहां-नामक पोस्ट केयर सेंटर की शुरूआत करके विशेषकर कोविड के बाद आने वाली समस्याओं के निदान करने की दिशा में नायाब तोहफा दिया है। इसमें कोविड से प्रभावित व्यक्तियों का ओपीडी के माध्यम से ईलाज किया जाएगा और उनका मानसिक मनौबल बढाने का कार्य किया जाएगा।


श्री गुप्ता ने कहा कि कोविड- 19 रोग से ठीक हो जाने के बाद उन्हें कई प्रकार की मानसिक परेशानियों से जुझना पड़ता है। ईलाज के बाद उन्हें हैल्थ, केयर व डाक्टर की एडवाईस की जरूरत होती है उसका लाभ मिलेगा। इसमें सीनियर सिटिजन को भी चिकित्सकों की सेवाएं मिलेंगी। वे इस मामले में स्वयं भी प्रभावित हुए हैं। सैंटर से परामर्श लेकर कोविड रोगी हर प्रकार की समस्याओं से निदान पा सकेगें। यह एक अच्छी शुरूआत है, जिला के नागरिक इसका ज्यादा से ज्यादा लाभ उठाएं।

Humour is a tax-free tonic amidst stress, strain and strife with its evergreen impact on one’s mind, says Dr. Ali Abbas, Coordinator of the department of Urdu, Panjab University, Chandigarh while speaking at the 5th Online meeting of Bazm-e-Adab organised by the department. He said that humour created by a satire either in verse or prose was for the enjoyment of all. Literature of all the known languages had produced grant satire and satire and satirists whose very mention was able enough to bring a cheerful smile on the lips of all. Sometimes tactfully arranged words can clinch the desired results without firing a bullet or resorting to agitations,Dr. Ali Abbas added.

In her presidential remarks Prof. (Retd.) Rehana Parveen, highlighted the all-important role played by satires in the development, spread and popularisation of Urdu literature and language in India and abroad.

Mr Papu Ram, a research scholar of the department of Urdu presented his paper on the topic “Satires in the modern Urdu literature” elaborating the age old traditions of satires in Urdu literature and further enriched by Mirza Ghalib, Rattanlal Sarshar, Mohamad Azad, Patras Bukhari, Kanhayalal kapur, Patras Bukhari, Yusuf Nazim, Mujtaba Husain and others.
