A Strong Immune System will Protect from Covid19

 A webinar on “Re assessing the issues of health , nutrition and environment after the outbreak of covid -19 ” was organized by department of Sociology . Dr Rani Mehta Chairperson welcomed the eminent speakers,Dr N K Sharma, a world renowned naturopath and Chairman founder of worlds largest Reiki Foundation in New Delhi  and Dr Biswaroop Roy Chowdhry, an international Medical nutritionist who is program director at Lincoln University College , Malaysia .

Dr Sharma emphasized on the need to develop a strong immune system and do away with fear complex and stress if we want to protect ourselves from covid 19 . He highlighted the benefits of having fresh fruits and vegetables instead of milk and animal products. 

Dr.Biswaroop Roy Chowdhry also focused on the significance of simple healthy diet in fighting corona. He said that healing without pills is the need of the hour and vaccines may not prevent corona virus but healthy home grown and home made food will do so . 

The webinar was well attended by more than 70 participants from different departments and fields.

केंद्र सरकार की तरफ से हरी झंडी मिल गई है। प्रदेश सरकार को अपनी परिस्थिति के हिसाब से निर्णय लेना है।

जुलाई महीने में स्कूल खोलने का विचार किया जा रहा है

तीन फेज में स्कूल खोलने की प्रक्रिया रहेगी

10वीं, 11वीं, 12वीं 3 क्लास पहले खुली

छठी से नौवीं क्लास उसके बाद खुलेगी

तीसरे फेज में पहली से पांचवी तक की क्लास खोली जाएगी।

स्कूल खोलने से पहले डेमो स्कूल खोले जाएंगे।

दो बातों का विचार किया जा रहा है।
आधे बच्चे एक दिन बुलाए जाएंगे। आधे बच्चे अगले दिन बुलाए जाएंगे।
दूसरा विचार यह है कि आधे बच्चों को सुबह के टाइम बुलाया जाए। आधे बच्चों को शाम के टाइम बुलाया जाए इन दोनों डेमो पर काम किया जाएगा

कमेटियां बना दी गई है, सुझाव लिए जा रहे है

विशेषज्ञों की राय है कि कोरोनावायरस लंबे समय तक चलेगा।
कोरोना के डर से बैठा नहीं जा सकता। कोरोना के साथ जीना है।
सुरक्षा के उपायों के साथ स्कूल खोले जाएंगे।

दसवी के पेंडिंग एग्जाम पर बोले शिक्षा मंत्री

जो बच्चे अगली क्लास में आर्ट और कॉमर्स लेंगे। उनका रिजल्ट औसत आधार पर तैयार किया जाएगा।

जो बच्चे अगली क्लास में साइंस लेंगे, उनका एग्जाम होगा।

सोमवार तक दसवीं का रिजल्ट आज आएगा।

चंडीगढ़ –महेन्द्रगढ़ विधानसभा क्षेत्र से पांच बार विधायक व पूर्व शिक्षा मंत्री प्रो. रामबिलास शर्मा ने कहा कि महेंद्रगढ़ जिले का नाम बदलने को लेकर मीडिया में चल रही अटकलों में कोई सच्चाई नही हैं।  जिलेे का नाम बदलने के विषय को लेकर आज उन्होंने प्रदेश के मुख्यमंत्री मनोहर लाल खट्टर व जिला रीऑर्गेनाइजेशन कमेटी के चेयरमैन उपमुख्यमंत्री दुष्यंत चौटाला, सदस्य शिक्षा मंत्री कंवर पाल गुर्जर व अन्य कमेटी सदस्य सहकारिता मंत्री बनवारीलाल से दूरभाष पर बात हुई है। उन्होंने मुझे इस बात के लिए आश्वस्त किया है कि महेंद्रगढ़ जिले का नाम बदलने का विचार सरकार के एजेंडे में नहीं है। महेंद्रगढ़ के मामले में कोई निर्णय लेने से पहले आपसे जरूर विचार किया जाएगा।  पूर्व मंत्री रामबिलास शर्मा ने मुख्यमंत्री मनोहर लाल खट्टर,मुख्यमंत्री दुष्यंत चौटाला व अन्य जिला रीऑर्गेनाइजेशन कमेटी को अवगत कराया कि महेंद्रगढ़ जिला संयुक्त पंजाब के समय में भी जिला होता था। नाभा के समय में 8 जिले होते थे जिनमें महेंद्रगढ़ एक जिला था इसलिए इस पुराने जिले के अस्तित्व को न छेडा जाए। श्री शर्मा ने मीडिया में चल रही चर्चाओं को विराम लगाते हुए कहा कि महेंद्रगढ़ की जनता को भ्रामक प्रचार में आने की आवश्यकता नहीं प्रदेश सरकार कोई ऐसा निर्णय नहीं लेगी जिससे महेंद्रगढ़ के लोगों के आन-बान व स्वाभिमान को आंच आये

SAIF/CIL, Panjab University Analytical Facility RESTARTS

Department of SAIF/CIL, Panjab University which is serving the scientific community throughout the country, has restarted its analytical facilities for its users which include Academia and Industries both, informed Prof. G.R. Chaudhary, Director SAIF/CIL .

Taking into account the huge demand of SAIF/CIL facility, Prof. Raj Kumar, Vice Chancellor, visited the centre to ensure the safety procedures for handling the  samples after they are received at the department in view of COVID19 pandemic situation.

Prof Chaudhary appraised that centre is fully prepared to collect, sanitize and analyze the samples with full safety.  He told that the department of SAIF/CIL, under the expert guidance of Dr. Ramesh Sharma has developed UV sanitization chamber, which has been installed at  the entry gate of the department on May 14, 2020. Prof. Chaudhary further added that in view of current pandemic situation, visitors cannot be allowed to visit the SAIF/CIL labs physically.  However, samples will be entertained in non-contact mode.  In this regard, following procedures will be adopted to analyze the samples:

1.    Requisition form will be received online only. (Forms are available on the website: http://saif.puchd.ac.in/).

2.    All payments will be received via online mode/digital mode.  (Cash payments will not be preferred).

3.    Users are not allowed to enter beyond the entry point of the department.

4.    Samples will be collected at the entry point only.  Samples via postal mail will also be entertained. 

5.    Sanitization of received samples will be carried out immediately on the receipt of the samples followed by UV sanitization to get rid of any infections.

6.    Communication of users with technical staff will be through digital mode only.

The department of SAIF/CIL is ready to serve with all safety measures in place

 Dr.Kuldeep Singh, Chairperson introduced both the Theme and speaker of the webinar. In his introductory address he started with the role of Police in today’s Scenario.  The resource person, Dr. Vibha Sharma, Head of Department of Public/Police Administration talked about the transformations witnessed in the role of police during the ongoing pandemic crisis of COVID-19. She stated that, in recent times, police has become more community and social oriented. It has assumed an array of new roles ranging from regulatory role to humanitarian role. This, consequently, has built a real time positive image of police among citizens during this crisis. She highlighted that several new challenges shall be faced by police in this “New Normal” situation moving from lockdown to unlock phase during COVID-19 and in its aftermath. There shall be need to revamp the police organization and policing techniques and methods to tackle the new challenges arising out this pandemic.

However, she pointed that for sustenance of such role transformation, the government should provide adequate resources (both physical as well as financial) to police organizations. In addition, community cooperation and community participation has been imperative to reinforce this evolving role of police. The citizens, local government and voluntary organizations should bring about both change in their attitude and perception towards police. They should inculcate a sense of affiliation and humanity towards the police personnel and their functions. She, therefore, concluded that this ‘Evolution’ in the role of police needs to be taken up in the ‘Revolution’ mode for long lasting impact.

 Dr. Kuldeep Singh, Chairperson, also stated that there is need of advanced training of medical and technological aspects for police to tackle with these kind of situation in future. The session was followed by an active interaction between the resource person and the participants. A large number of participants such as Mr. Hemant Kumar (DIG) BSF, Mr. Pawan Basatia (DCP), Delhi Police, Dr. Rajesh Chander, Dr. Namita Gupta, Dr. Sanjeev Ranjan, other Faculty members, research scholars and students  from various institutions attended the Webinar.

ਮੁਕਾਬਲੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਭਾਗ ਲੈ ਰਹੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਸਵਾਗਤ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਦੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀ ਭਲਾਈ ਨਿਰਦੇਸ਼ਕ ਪ੍ਰੋ ਨਿਰਮਲ ਜੌੜਾ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਨੌਜਵਾਨ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਸਾਰੂ ਅਤੇ ਚੜਦੀ ਕਲਾ ਵਾਲੇ ਪਾਸੇ ਪ੍ਰਵਿਰਤਤ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਇਹ ਕਲਾਤਮਕ ਮੁਕਾਬਲੇ ਕਰਵਾਏ ਜਾ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ ।ਮੁਕਾਬਲਿਆਂ ਦਾ ਵੇਰਵਾ ਦਿਦਿੰਆਂ ਪ੍ਰੋ ਨਿਰਮਲ ਜੌੜਾ ਦਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਨਾਲ ਸਬੰਧਤ ਵੱਖ ਵੱਖ ਕਾਲਜ ਇਹਨਾ ਮੁਕਾਬਲਿਆਂ ਦਾ ਆਨਲਾਈਨ ਅਯੋਜਿਨ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ ਜਿਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਾਮਗੜੀਆ ਗਰਲਜ਼ ਕਾਲਜ ਲੁਧਿਆਣਾ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਸ਼ਬਦ ਅਤੇ ਕਵਿਤਾ ਗਾਇਨ , ਕੰਸਟੀਚਿਊਂਟ ਕਾਲਜ ਪੱਤੋ ਹੀਰਾ ਸਿੰਘ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਭਜਨ ਗਾਇਨ ਅਤੇ ਕਲਾਸੀਕਲ ਸੰਗੀਤ ਇੰਸਟਰੂਮੈਂਟਲ , ਕੰਸਟੀਚਿਊਟ ਕਾਲਜ ਸਿੱਖਵਾਲਾ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਲੇਖ ਲਿਖਣ , ਕੰਸਟੀਚਿਊਟ ਕਾਲਜ ਧਰਮਕੋਟ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਮਮਿਕਰੀ , ਦਸਮੇਸ਼ ਗਰਲਜ਼ ਕਾਲਜ ਬਾਦਲ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਬੋਲੀ ਪਾਉਣ , ਪਹਿਰਾਵਾ ਸਕਿੱਚ ਅਤੇ ਮਿੱਟੀ ਦੇ ਖਿਡਾਉਣੇ , ਦਸਮੇਸ਼ ਗਰਲਜ਼ ਕਾਲਜ ਮੁਕੇਰੀਆਂ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਲਲਿਤ ਕਲਾਵਾਂ , ਗੁਰੁ ਗੋਬਿੰਦ ਸਿੰਘ ਗਰਲਜ਼ ਕਾਲਜ ਝਾੜ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਲੰਮੀ ਹੇਕ ਦੇ ਗੀਤ , ਮੋਨੋ ਐਕਟਿੰਗ ਅਤੇ ਕਢਾਈ , ਗੋਬਿੰਦਗੜ ਪਬਲਿਕ ਕਾਲਜ ਅਲੌੜ ਖੰਨਾ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਭਾਸ਼ਣ ਅਤੇ ਗੀਤ , ਖਾਲਸਾ ਕਲਾਜ ਆਫ ਐਜੂਕੇਸ਼ਨ ਸਿੱਧਵਾਂ ਖੁਰਦ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਭਾਸ਼ਣ ,, ਸਰਕਾਰੀ ਕਾਲਜ ਹੀਸ਼ਆਰਪੁਰ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਲੋਕ ਗੀਤ , ਗੁਰੁ ਨਾਨਕ ਨੈਸ਼ਨਲ ਕਾਲਜ ਦੋਰਾਹਾ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਲੋਕ ਸਾਜ਼ ਅਤੇ ਗਜ਼ਲ , ਗੁਰੂ ਨਾਨਕ ਕਾਲਜ ਮੋਗਾ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਕਵਿਤਾ ਕਹਾਣੀ ਲੇਖ , ਜੀ ਜੀ ਡੀ ਐਸ ਡੀ ਕਾਲਜ ਹਰਿਆਣਾ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਸੁੰਦਰ ਲਿਖਾਈ , ਗੁਰੁ ਰਾਮਦਾਸ ਬੀ ਐਡ ਕਾਲਜ ਜਲਾਲਾਬਾਦ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਰੂਹਾਨੀ ਲੇਖਣੀ , ਲਾਲਾ ਲਾਜਪਤ ਰਾਏ ਐਜੂਕੇਸ਼ਨ ਕਾਲਜ ਢੁਡੀਕੇ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਲੋਕ ਕਲਾਵਾਂ , ਗੁਰੁ ਨਾਨਕ ਗਰਲਜ਼ ਕਾਲਜ ਮੁਕਤਸਰ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਵਾਰ ਗਾਇਣ ਦੇ ਮੁਕਾਬਲੇ ਕਰਵਾਏ ਜਾ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ।ਇਹ ਸਾਰੇ ਮੁਕਾਬਲੇ ਵਿਅਕਤੀਗਤ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਨਾਲ ਕਿਸੇ ਵੀ ਸਾਜ਼ਿੰਦੇ  ਦੀ ਲੋੜ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ । ਵੱਖ ਵੱਖ ਕਾਲਜਾਂ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲ ਅਤੇ ਅਧਿਆਪਕ ਇੰਚਾਰਜਾਂ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਉਹਨਾ ਦੇ ਅਧਿਆਪਕਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਇਹਨਾ ਮੁਕਾਬਲਿਆਂ ਪ੍ਰਤੀ ਬੇਹੱਦ ਉਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਹੈ ।ਯੁਵਕ ਭਲਾਈ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਵਿਦਿਆਥਰੀਆਂ ਚੰਗੇ ਪਾਸੇ ਜੋੜਨ ਲਈ  ਸਮੇਂ ਦੀ ਲੋੜ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਕੀਤੇ ਜਾ ਰਹੇ ਇਸ ਕਾਰਜ ਤੇ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਟੀ ਦੇ ਡੀਨ ਕਾਲਜ ਵਿਕਾਸ ਕੌਂਸਲ ਡਾ ਸੰਜੇ ਕੌਸ਼ਿਕ ਨੇ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧਕੀ ਕਾਲਜਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵਧਾਈ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਹੈ । ਡਾ ਸੰਜੇ ਕੌਸ਼ਿਕ ਨੇ ਭਾਗ ਲੈ ਰਹੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਸ਼ੁੱਭ ਇਸ਼ਾਵਾਂ ਵੀ ਦਿੱਤੀਆਂ । ਇਹ ਸਾਰੇ ਮੁਕਾਬਲੇ ਦਸ ਜੂਨ ਤੱਕ ਕਰਵਾ ਲਏ ਜਾਣਗੇ ।

PU VC visited various departments and Hostels

For Detailed News-

To take stock of the preparation and progress in different departments and hostels, the Panjab University Vice Chancellor, Prof. Raj Kumar visited various departments and hostels. During his visit, he met the Chairpersons and the staff and interacted with them by maintaining the social distancing norms. He also took stock of the issues faced by them and assured them of all the help will be extended by the University authorities for the smooth running of the system. During his interaction with the residents of various hostels, he assured them University is concerned about that safe stay in the hostels.

PU VC also visited University Institute of Legal Studies, Central Instrumentation Laboratory , University Institute of Engineering and Technology, Boys Hostel no 4, Girls Hostel no. 7, Basic Medical Sciences Block, along with other officials which included Prof. S.K. Tomar, Dean Student Welfare(DSW), Prof. Sukhbir Kaur, DSW(W), Prof. Sanjay Kaushik, Dean College Development Council, Prof. Ashwani Kaul and Prof. Rajiv Puri.

Chandigarh, June 3:- A meeting of village development committee for Khuda Ali sher village held here today under the chairmanship of Sh. Charanjiv Singh, councillor and attended by other members of committee alongwith Sh. Jagtar Singh Jagga, Deputy Mayor as special invitee.

For Detailed News-

During the meeting the committee members discussed that provision of civil dispensary be made in the adjoining land of sports complex in the village. The members asked the sanitation wing of MCC to start special cleanliness drive in the village and maintain proper cleanliness in the surrounding of village.

The members discussed and decided that remaining work of cremation ground be completed at earliest. Other issues related to new water connection and street lights repair work were also discussed in the meeting besides strengthening of water supply, sewerage and storm water drainage system in the village. The members asked the concerned engineers to resume the recarpeting work of roads in the village and asked the MOH wing to look into the stray dog and stray cattle menace in the village.
