Chandigarh, April 8:-In another digital push, the Municipal Corporation Chandigarh on Thursday launched the new e-office application in all the offices of Municipal Corporation Chandigarh. The new digital gateway will help cut internal officer procedures which is so far based on manual handling of files and paper movement.
Sh. Ravi Kant Sharma, Mayor, Chandigarh launched the e-office app here at command and control centre, MCC building, sector 17, Chandigarh in presence of senior officers and concerned officials of MCC including Sh. Tilak Raj, Sh. S.K. Jain and Sh. Anil Kumar Garg, Additional Commissioners, Sh. Sorabh Arora, Joint Commissioner, Gyaneshwer Shukla, SO, IT and other concerned officers of MCC.
The new e-office model developed by the NIC will not just help the MCC streamline internal operations but will also enhance the ease of tracking project files including outside PUCs. It aims to improve governance by automating the internal processes of handling files and taking decisions within the MCC.
All the wings of Municipal Corporation are likely to use the new application making MCC one of the largest Government departments in Chandigarh to automate its internal office procedures. The e-Office application’s main module, eFile, enables on-line file related work, starting from receiving and marking dak, operating a file, preparing a draft letter, its approval/signature and dispatch of the signed letter.
The Mayor said that the new technology will bring further transparency, accountability, while speeding up the decision making. In the present context the new system will also help in avoiding situation arising due to Covid-19 as it is based on a contactless model thereby preventing any possible transmission of any virus.
पंचकूला, 8 अप्रैल- आज जिला सचिवालय के सभागार में अतिरिक्त उपायुक्त मोहम्मद इमरान रजा की अध्यक्षता में आगामी 13 से 21 अप्रैल 2021 तक श्री माता मनसा देवी मंदिर पंचकूला व काली माता मंदिर कालका में आयोजित होने वाले चै़त्र नवरात्र मेले की तैयारियों को लेकर समीक्षा बैठक आयोजित की गई। बैठक में अतिरिक्त उपायुक्त ने संबंधित अधिकारियों को उचित दिशा निर्देश दिये।
उन्होंने कहा कि कोविड-19 के बढ़ते मामलों के मद्देनजर सीमित संख्या में ही श्रद्धालुओं को माता के दर्शन की अनुमति प्रदान की जायेगी। श्री माता मनसा देवी मंदिर पंचकूला में 15 मिनट में 180 के हिसाब से श्रद्धालु दर्शन कर सकेंगे जबकि काली माता मंदिर कालका में 15 मिनट में 120 श्रद्धालुओं के दर्शन करने की व्यवस्था की जायेगी। इसके अलावा जो श्रद्धालु माता मनसा देवी मंदिर में लिफ्ट एंट्री के माध्यम से प्रेफरेंशियल दर्शन करने के इच्छुक है, वे 50 रुपये प्रति श्रद्धालु आॅन लाईन रजिस्ट्रेशन करवा सकते है। श्रद्धालु एक साथ अधिकतम 10 व्यक्तियों का रजिस्ट्रेशन करवाया सकता है। हालांकि फिलहाल एक घंटे में लिफ्ट द्वार के माध्यम से 100 श्रद्धालुओं के दर्शन की व्यवस्था की गई है। चै़त्र नवरात्र मेले में श्रद्धालु प्रातः 4 बजे से रात्रि 10 बजे तक कर सकेंगे माता के दर्शन।
उन्होंने बताया कि पिछले वर्ष की भांति इस वर्ष भी श्राईंन बोर्ड द्वारा माता के दर्शन के लिये ई-टोकन की व्यवस्था की गई है। टोकन प्राप्त करने के लिये इच्छुक श्रद्धालुओं को केवल बोर्ड की वैब साईट www.mansadevi.org.in पर साधारण सी जानकारी उपलब्ध करवानी होगी, जिसके तुरंत पश्चात उनके मोबाईल नंबर पर एक ई-टोकन भेजा जायेगा, जिसे दिखाकर वे माता के दर्शन कर सकेंगे।
अतिरिक्त उपायुक्त ने कहा कि श्री माता मनसा देवी में लोगों की आस्था को देखते हुए कोविड-19 के दिशा-निर्देशा का पालन करते हुए मेले का आयोजन किया जा रहा है। उन्होंने कहा कि मेले के दौरान माता के दर्शन को छोड़कर भंडारा, सांस्कृतिक कार्यक्रम व मनोरंजन जैसी गतिविधियां पूर्ण रूप से प्रतिबंधित रहेगी। इसके अलावा मंदिर परिसर में सड़क किनारे लगने वाली प्रसाद व अन्य सामान की दुकानों को भी अनुमति नहीं दी जायेगी। उन्होंने बताया कि बोर्ड द्वारा श्रद्धालुओं के लिये रियायती दामों पर 100 और 50 रुपये में पैक्ड प्रसाद की व्यवस्था की जायेगी।
उन्होंने लोगों से अपील की है कि वे कोविड-19 महामारी को ध्यान में रखते हुए माता के दर्शन करते समय कोविड-19 नियमों व दिशा निर्देशों जैसे सामाजिक दूरी, मास्क व सेनीटाईजर का अवश्य पालन करें। उन्होंने कहा कि श्राईंन बोर्ड द्वारा श्रद्धालुओं के लिये माता के लाईव दर्शन की भी व्यवस्था की गई है। वे फेसबुक पेज जय माता मनसा देवी और यूट्यूब के माध्यम से माता के लाईव दर्शन कर सकेंगे। अतिरिक्त उपायुक्त ने नगर निगम के कार्यकारी अधिकारियों को निर्देश दिये कि वे श्री माता मनसा देवी पंचकूला व काली माता मंदिर कालका में प्रतिदिन फोगिंग, सेनीटाईजेशन और समुचित साफ-सफाई की व्यवस्था सुनिश्चित करेंगे। उन्होंने ये भी निर्देश दिये कि मेले के दौरान आने वाले श्रद्धालुओं के लिये पर्याप्त संख्या में मोबाईल शौचालयों की व्यवस्था भी की जाये। इसके अलावा सीएमओ पंचकूला मेले के दौरान सभी दिन चैबीस घंटे पर्याप्त संख्या में मैडिकल टीम की व्यवस्था सुनिश्चित करेंगे।
उन्होंने पुलिस विभाग के अधिकारियों को निर्देश दिये कि वे मेले के दौरान श्रद्धालुओं की सुविधा को ध्यान में रखते हुए पर्याप्त कानून एवं व्यवस्था सुनिश्चित करें। उन्होंने कहा कि मेले के दौरान कड़ी सुरक्षा की दृष्टि से अतिरिक्त संख्या में सीसीटीवी कैमरे लगाये जायें ताकि असामाजिक तत्वों पर निगरानी रखी जा सके। इसके लिये उन्होंने पुलिस अधिकारियों को ऐसी जगहों की पहचान करने के निर्देश दिये, जहां ये सीसीटीवी कैमरे लगाये जाने की आवश्यकता है। उन्होंने कहा कि मेले के दौरान वाहनों की पार्किंग की समुचित व्यवस्था रेडक्राॅस सोसायटी के माध्यम से की जायेगी।

पंचकूला, 8 अप्रैल- हरियाणा विधानसभा अध्यक्ष श्री ज्ञानचंद गुप्ता ने बताया कि हरियाणा सरकार ने अवैध काॅलोनियों में बसे लोगों की मूलभूत जरूरतें जैसे बिजली, पानी, सड़क, सीवरलाईन आदि का डाटा तैयार करने का निर्णय लिया है।
उन्होंने बताया कि इसके लिये सरकार द्वारा नगर तथा ग्राम आयोजना विभाग की वैबसाईट http://tcpharyana.gov.in/uac को तैयार किया गया है, जिसके माध्यम से आप उपरोक्त वर्णित वैबसाईट पर रजिस्ट्रेशन करके आॅनलाईन आवेदन कर सकते है।
उन्होंने बताया कि ऐसी काॅलोनियो में लोगों की क्या-क्या जरूरतें है या उन्हें क्या-क्या सुविधायें चाहिए, उसका विवरण पोर्टल पर अपलोड किया जा सकता है। इस डाॅटा को अपलोड करने की अंतिम तिथि 31.03.2021 थी, जिसको सरकार ने बढाकर 30.04.2021 कर दिया है। उन्होंने जनसाधारण, रेजिडेंस वेलफेयर एसोसिएशन और काॅलोनाईजरस से अपील की है कि उपरोक्त दी गई वैबसाईट पर रजिस्ट्रेशन शीघ्र अति शीघ्र करें और सरकार की इस योजना का लाभ उठायें।

On the occasion of World Health Day, Panjab University Alumni Association (PUAA) organised a webinar to discuss the theme of 2021, ‘Diabetes: A Disease or a Lifestyle Problem’. This was the opening lecture of Webinar series “PUAA Wellness Initiative”, wherein the aim is to conduct a campaign that raise awareness and improve knowledge of common diseases, their symptoms and treatment options in an interactive and engaging format. The broad theme of these webinars will be on prevention, diagnosis, treatment options and aiming towards healthy life style.
The Chief Guest, Dr. Sanjay Bhadada, Professor and Head, Endocrinology, PGIMERinformed the audience that Diabetes is a global emergency and it is exponentially increasing throughout the world, mainly due to increasing stress at workplace and lack of awareness. He emphasised that overeating and dependence on unhealthy ready to eat food, physical inactivity and excessive alcohol consumption are the prime cause of this obesity and diabetes.
Dr. Sanjay further accentuated that Chandigarh and Punjab are becoming the diabetes capital of India so people should follow an ideal and balanced diet and should focus on physical activities to counter it. To explain his point, he showed various pictures and food pyramid. He made the audience aware about the Reversal of Diabetes with lifestyle modification and intermittent fasting.
Prof. V. R. Sinha, Dean University Instruction, Panjab University welcomed the distinguished speaker and enlightened about the sensitivity of the deadly and the most widespread disease, diabetes. He emphasized that it is the duty of each individual to take a little time for their health to combat such devastating disease, especially in crucial times of COVID19. He congratulated PUAA for starting the wellness initiative to encourage healthy lifestyles among alumni, employees and students for promoting holistic dimensions of well-being.
Earlier, Highlighting the severity and gravity of diabetes, Prof. Anupama Sharma, Dean Alumni Relations started the webinar and welcomed the dignitaries.

उपायुक्त प्रदीप कुमार ने कहा कि बोर्ड परीक्षाओं के बेहतर परिणाम को लेकर अधिकारी योजनाबद्ध तरीके कार्य करें। लो परफॉर्मिंग विद्यालयों के विद्यार्थियों की परीक्षा तैयारियों पर विशेष ध्यान दिया जाए।
उपायुक्त बुधवार गत सायं लघुसचिवालय स्थित सभागार में सक्षम हरियाणा(शिक्षा) योजना की समीक्षा कर रहे थे। इस दौरान सीटीएम गौरव गुप्ता, सीएमजीजीए सुकन्या जर्नादन, जिला शिक्षा अधिकारी संत कुमार सहित संबंधित अधिकारी उपस्थित थे। उपायुक्त ने अवसर एप, सक्षम समीक्षा एप, सक्षम वटसअप ग्रुप आदि की प्रगति की समीक्षा की।
उपायुक्त ने कहा कि एक साल कोरोना के चलते स्कूल पूरी तरह से बंद रहे हैं। इसके कारण बच्चों के लिखित अभ्यास पर असर पड़ा है, इसलिए सक्षम हरियाणा द्वारा जारी प्रश्न पत्रों का लिखित अभ्यास करवाने के लिए प्रेरित करें।
इसके साथ ही परीक्षा में अधिक अंकों वाले विषयों पर ज्यादा जोर दिया जाए ताकि बच्चे बेहतर परिणाम के लिए तैयारी कर सकें।
उपायुक्त ने कहा कि सक्षम हरियाणा योजना के तहत निरीक्षण एवं सलाह कार्यक्रम के तहत निर्धारित लक्ष्य को अवश्य पूरा करें, स्कूलों की बोर्ड परीक्षाओं के बेहतरीन परिणामों के लिए सभी ब्लॉकों में बोर्ड के प्लान को लागू करें तथा सभी बीईओ व नोडल अधिकारी आपसी तालमेल के साथ कार्य करें। उन्होंने कहा कि बोर्ड परीक्षाओं में बेहतर परिणाम की दिशा में गंभीरता से कार्य करें। जिला शिक्षा अधिकारी ने उपायुक्त को जानकारी दी की बोर्ड परीक्षाओं के तैयारी हेतू दसवीं व 12वीं कक्षाओं की मॉनिटरिंग के लिए गठित टीमों द्वारा लो परफॉर्मिंग विद्यालयों का न केवल निरीक्षण किया जा रहा है बल्कि कमजोर बच्चों की तैयारी बारे अध्यापकों का मार्गदर्शन भी कर रही हैं।

पंचकूला, 8 अप्रैल- उपायुक्त श्री मुकुल कुमार ने जिला में पिछले कुछ दिनों में कोविड-19 के सक्रिय मामलों की संख्या में वृद्धि को देखते हुए व कोरोना वायरस के फैलाव को रोकने के लिये समय-समय पर जारी किये गये मानक संचालय प्रक्रिया (एसओपी) की कड़ी अनुपालना सुनिश्चित करने के लिये कर्मचारियों की टीम का गठन किया है। ये टीम जिला में कोविड-19 के सक्रिय मरीजों के संपर्क में आने वाले व्यक्तियों का गहनता से पता लगायेंगी ताकि कोविड-19 को आगे फैलने से रोका जा सके।
ये टीम जिला उपायुक्त कार्यालय द्वारा स्थापित जिला कंट्रोल रूम से संचालित होगी। इस टीम के सदस्यों में राजकीय माध्यमिक विद्यालय बहलोन पंचकूला से जेबीटी श्री भाग राम, राजकीय प्राइमरी स्कूल जबरोट, पिंजौर से जेबीटी श्री शमशेर सिंह, राजकीय माध्यमिक विद्यालय ढकरोग से टीजीटी संस्कृत श्री श्यामलाल, राजकीय हाई स्कूल टागरा हकीमपुर से ड्राईंग टीचर श्री राजिंद्र सिंह व राजकीय सीनियर सेकेंडरी स्कूल बरवाला से ड्राईंग टीचर श्री कुलविंद्र शामिल है।

Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) is conducting Entrance Tests for Management Programmes (Openmat-xlviii), B.Ed. Programme and Post Basic B.Sc.Nursing Programme on Sunday, 11th April, 2021 (10:00 AM to 1:00 PM). The Entrance Test is being organized at 120 Examination Centres of IGNOU across the country accommodating 40,170 candidates. Under Chandigarh Regional Centre the Entrance Test will be organized at Lajpat Rai Bhawan, Sector – 15B, Chandigarh accommodating 280 candidates.
The Hall-Tickets have already been UPLOADED ON the University website www.ignou.ac.in . The candidates are advised to download the hall ticket by entering the Control No. OR Mobile no. and date of birth and report to the Examination Centre. In case candidates are unable to download the Hall-Ticket, they can contact the Regional Centre and obtain a print out of the hall ticket from the Regional Centre.
Candidates must report at the Examination Centre 45 minutes before commencement of the Entrance Test.

“Brevity is the soul of short stories,” said Prof. Pankaj Malvia of the Department of Russian languages, Panjab University, Chandigarh, while addressing budding story writers of the Department of Urdu here today.
Speaking at the first ever online story telling contest organized by the Urdu Department, Prof. Malvia explained that a short story always looked life as a complete whole.
Prof. Malvia said that being a keen observer of men and their manners sorrunding him, a story writer always tried be very close to the real facts of life. “A reader always see a bit of himself or herself in a short story and is always moved by its contents touching his or her sentiments” he added.
Earlier, Dr. Renu Behl, a noted short story writer while addressing the participants said a story should touch the heart and mind of readers.
While proposing the note of thanks Dr. Ali Abbas said that human life had intimate relationship with literature especially with short stories.
In all there were 19 participants. Mrs. Gursahiba Gill, Mr. Ashish Puri and Mr. Jaskaran Singh got the first, second and third prize respectively.

सीटीएम बुधवार को लघुसचिवालय स्थित सभागार में जिला स्तरीय समीक्षा समिति (डीएलआरसी) एवं जिला सलाहकार समिति (डीसीसी) की समीक्षा बैठक को संबोधित कर रहे थे। उन्होंने बैंकर्स को निर्देश दिए कि पात्र व्यक्तियों को योजनाओं का लाभ पहुंचाने में देरी न करें और निर्धारित मापदंडों अनुसार योग्य पात्रों को इन योजनाओं का लाभ पहुंचाना सुनिश्चित किया जाए। उन्होंने प्रधानमंत्री सुरक्षा बीमा योजना (पीएमएसबीवाई), प्रधानमंत्री जीवन ज्योति बीमा योजना (पीएमजेजेबीवाई), अटल पेंशन योजना (एपीवाई), मुद्रा योजना सहित विभिन्न योजनाओं को लेकर बैंकर्स से रिपोर्ट ली और समीक्षा की। इसके अलावा लंबित आवेदनों को निर्धारित समयावधि में निपटाने के निर्देश दिए।
उन्होंने ने सभी बैंकर्स को निर्दश दिए हैं कि वे केंद्र सरकार की महत्वाकांक्षी योजनाओं को लेकर निर्धारित लक्ष्यों को प्राप्त करते हुए पात्र लाभार्थियों तक योजनाओं का लाभ पहुंचाने में गंभीरता दिखाएं। उन्होंने बैंक स्तर पर लंबित पड़े मामलों तथा सीएम विंडो, राष्ट्रीय ग्रामीण तथा शहरी आजिविका मिशन, प्रधानमंत्री रोजगार सृजन योजना, मुद्रा योजना, प्रधानमंत्री जनधन योजना, प्रधानमंत्री जीवन ज्योति योजना, पीएम स्वनिधि योजना, अटल पेंशन स्कीम, विभिन्न समाजिक सुरक्षा पेंशन इत्यादि योजनाओं की समीक्षा की और इन योजनाओं के तहत लक्षित ऋण स्वीकृति के संबंध में बैंकों को और अधिक गंभीरता से कार्य करने के निर्देश दिए।
अग्रणी जिला प्रबंधक सुनील कुकरेजा ने बताया कि आत्मनिर्भर, शिशु ऋण, प्रधानमंत्री स्वनिधि योजना एवं पशु किसान क्रेडिट कार्ड भारत सरकार की प्रमुख योजनायें हैं तथा इनका लाभ देने में सभी बैंक अपनी सक्रियता दिखाएँ। इस बैठक में पीएनबी के उप मंडल प्रमुख संजीव गर्ग, जीएम डीआईसी ज्ञान चन्द लांगयान सहित सभी सरकारी एजेंसियों के प्रतिनिधि और बैंकों के डीसीओ ने भाग लिया।
