चंडीगढ़, 26 फरवरी ( ): पारस अस्पताल पंचकूला के दिल के रोगों के माहिर डाक्टरों की टीम ने हार्ट वाल्व की समस्या तथा बिना सर्जरी इलाज विषय पर मीडिया के साथ बातचीत की। इस संबंधी कार्डियक साइंस के चेयरमैन डा. एच.के.बाली, सीटीवीएस के डायरेक्टर राणा संदीप सिंह, एसोसिएट डायरेक्टर डा. अनुराग शर्मा, सीनियर कंस्लटेंट डा. गगनदीप सिंह, डा. कपिल चैटरी तथा प्रियंका गुप्ता ने संबोधन किया।

डा. एच.के.बाली ने कहा कि दिल के वाल्व की समस्या या बीमारी के समय वाल्व बदला जाता है। उन्होंने बताया कि वाल्व बदलना एक आम डाक्टरी प्रक्रिया है, जिसमें एरोटिक वाल्व बदला जाता है। डा. बाली ने बताया कि कई बार बुढ़ापे में यह वाल्व सुकूड़ जाता है या मोटा हो जाता है। उन्होंने बताया कि पहले दिल का आप्रेशन (ओपन हार्ट सर्जरी) करके वाल्व बदला जाता था, जिस कारण बुजुर्ग मरीज यह आप्रेशन नहीं करवा सकते थे।


डा. बाली ने बताया कि एरोटिक वाल्व में समस्या के कारण मरीज के शरीर को कम रक्त पहुंचता है, जिससे सांस लेने, थकावट, छाती में दर्द तथा टांगों की सोजिश जैसे कई लक्ष्ण दिखाई देते हैं। उन्होंने बताया कि अब सर्जरी की जरूरत नहीं है, क्योंकि ट्रांस कैथेटिर एरोटिक वाल्व इम्पलांटेशन (टीईवीआई) या टीएवीआर आ गई है।


इसी तरह के इलाज में संक्रमण का भी कोई खबरा नहीं रहता है, दो-तीन दिन बाद मरीज को अस्पताल में से छुट्टी दे दी जाती है। डा. बाली ने बताया कि हमारे देश में इस तकनीक द्वारा एक साल में 600 मरीजों का इलाज किया जाता है, जबकि अमरीका में करीब 80 हजार लोगों का एक साल में इलाज होता है।

डा. अनुराग शर्मा ने कहा कि कुछ वर्ष पहले ही बहुत ज्यादा गंभीर मरीजों का इलाज टीएवीआई की तकनीक द्वारा किया जाता था, पर अब कम जोखिम वाले मरीजों के लिए भी इस तकनीक का प्रयोग किया जाता है। उन्होंने बताया कि यह इलाज एंजियोग्राफी की तरह एक आर्टरी द्वारा किया जाता है। एंडोवेस्कूलर तकनीक के जरिए वाल्व तबदील किया जाता है। उन्होंने बताया कि इस विधि से ट्रांस्पलांट के लिए डेढ़ से दो घंटे का समय लगता है।

दिल के रोगों के इलाज संबंधी विभाग (कार्डियो थोरोकिक एंड वेस्कूलर सर्जरी विभाग) में पारस सुपरस्पेशलिटी अस्पताल की सुविधाओं के बारे बताते हुए डा. राणा संदीप सिंह ने बताया कि दिल के वाल्व की स्थिति की जांच के लिए इको-कार्डियोग्राफी तथा डोपलर एक सरल तकनीक है, जो पारस अस्पताल में उपलब्ध है। उन्होंने बताया कि दूर-दराज के इलाकों करनाल, पानीपत, जम्मू, अमृतसर, संगरूर, बठिंडा से मरीज यहां वाल्व के इलाज के लिए आते हैं।

Chandigarh, February 26:- A meeting of Finance & Contract Committee, Municipal Corporation Chandigarh was held here today under the chairmanship of Sh. Ravi Kant Sharma, Mayor and attended by Sh. पंचकूला, 26 फरवरी-   कोविड महामारी से बचाव के लिए ग्रामीणों द्वारा उपयोग किए जा रहे मास्क और ग्लोवस वेस्ट के प्रभावी निष्पादन को लेकर आज जिला उपायुक्त मुकेश कुमार आहूजा की अध्यक्षता में एक बैठक आयोजित की गई।


उपायुक्त ने कहा कि गांवों में मास्क और ग्लोवस का इस्तेमाल करने के उपरांत उसका सुरक्षित निष्पादन करना अति आवश्यक है। उन्होंने निर्देश दिये कि गांव में मास्क और ग्लोवस वेस्ट का संग्रह सप्ताह में एक बार अवश्य किया जाये। इसके लिए संबंधित बीडीपीओ वेस्ट का संग्रह करते समय सफाई कर्मी को पाॅलिथीन मुहैया करवाना सुनिश्चित करेंगे।


  उपायुक्त ने अधिकारियों को निर्देश देते हुए कहा कि सफाई कर्मचारी सप्ताह में एक दिन घर-घर जाकर मास्क और ग्लोवस का वेस्ट इक्टठा करेंगे। वेस्ट इक्टठा करने के बाद उसे संबंधित सीएचसी व पीएचसी पर लाया जायेगा, जहां से मैसर्स एसके हाइजेनिक सर्विसस द्वारा इसे परिवहन के माध्यम से बागवाली लेजाकर उसका निष्पादन किया जाएगा। इससे पर्यावरण को भी कोई नुकसान नहीं होगा।


उपायुक्त ने कहा कि गांवों में मास्क और ग्लोवस वेस्ट संग्रहण के मददेनजर व्यापक स्तर पर मुनादी कराई जाए, ताकि अधिक से अधिक ग्रामीण आगे आकर इस प्रक्रिया में भागीदार बनें।

बैठक के दौरान आयुष्मान भारत, स्वास्थ्य रक्षा योजना के अंतर्गत लाभार्थियों के पंजिकरण को लेकर भी विस्तृत चर्चा की गई। श्री आहूजा ने बताया कि इस योजना के अंतर्गत लगभग चार हजार परिवारों का पंजीकरण होना शेष है। उन्होंने संबंधित अधिकारियों को निर्देश दिए कि वे गांव मुताबिक इन परिवारों की सूची सीएचसी और पीएचसी पर उपलब्ध करवाएं ताकि ऐसे परिवारों का गोल्ड कार्ड बना कर इस योजना का लाभ दिया जा सके।

उन्होंने बताया कि इस योजना से वंचित रहे परिवारों के पंजीकरण के लिए 1 से 15 मार्च तक एक विशेष अभियान चलाया जाएगा जिसके अंतर्गत 72 विभिन्न स्थानों पर कैंप लगा कर ऐसे लोगों का पंजीकरण किया जाएगा। उपायुक्त ने निर्देश दिया कि संबंधित बीडीपीओ गांवों में मौजिज लोगों से संपर्क कर इस प्रक्रिया को सफल बनाना सुनिश्चित करें।
इस अवसर पर डीपीओ कुंवर दमन सिंह, हरियाणा प्रदूषण नियंत्रण बोर्ड तथा स्वास्थ्य विभाग के अधिकारी उपस्थित थे।

पंचकूला, 26 फरवरी- केंद्रीय जल शक्ति एवं सामाजिक न्याय व अधिकारिता राज्यमंत्री रतनलाल कटारिया ने आज कहा कि लोकतंत्र में कोई भी सरकार किसानों के खिलाफ कानून बनाने का साहस नहीं कर सकती, बल्कि भारत को खाद्यान्न के मामलों में आत्म निर्भर बनाने वाले किसानों के हित में लगातार ऐसे कदम उठा रही है, जिसे उनकी आमदनी दोगुनी हो सके। कटारिया ने कहा कि जब प्रधानमंत्री बार बार किसानों को बातचीत का न्योता दे रहे हैं और अगर आवश्यकता पड़ती है तो कृषि कानूनों में संशोधन का आश्वासन भी दे चुके हैं। इसके बावजूद भी 40 लाख ट्रैक्टर के साथ दिल्ली कूच की धमकी व फसल में आग लगाने के बयान देकर यह तथाकथित किसान नेता किसका भला करना चाहते हैं।
उन्होंने कहा कि कृषि सुधारों से किसानों में एक नई उम्मीद जगी है। बीते 6 सालों से कांग्रेस और उनके अंतरिम गुटों ने कभी दलितों, दूसरी जातियों और कभी किसानों को भड़का कर देश में अराजकता का माहौल पैदा करने की कोशिश कर रहे हैं। जबकि सरकार एमएसपी पर लिखित में आश्वासन देने को तैयार है। उन्होंने एक बार फिर साफ किया कि एमएसपी जारी है और जारी रहेगा।


कटारिया ने कहा कि श्सबका साथ, सबका विकास और सबका विश्वासश् के मंत्र पर चलते हुए प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी के नेतृत्व में हमारी सरकार ने बिना किसी भेदभाव किए सभी का हित करने का प्रयास किया है। पिछले 6 वर्षों का इतिहास साक्षी है कि इन सालों में हमारी सरकार ने किसानों का मुनाफा बढ़ाने और खेती को आसान बनाने के लिए कई कदम उठाए हैं। इनका फायदा छोटे किसानों को मिल रहा है। उन्होंने कहा कि यह उनके लिए बहुत संतोष की बात है कि नए कानून लागू होने के बाद इस बार एमएसपी पर सरकारी खरीद के भी पिछले सारे रिकॉर्ड टूट गए हैं। ऐसे समय में जब हमारी सरकार एमएसपी पर खरीद के लिए नए रिकॉर्ड बना रही है और खरीद केंद्रों की संख्या बढ़ा रही है। दूसरी तरफ, कुछ लोग किसानों से झूठ बोल रहे हैं कि एमएसपी बंद कर दी जाएगी।


केन्द्रीय मंत्री ने कहा कि किसानों के हित में किए गए यह सुधार भारतीय कृषि में नए अध्याय की नींव बनेंगे। साथ ही, देश के किसानों को स्वतंत्र और सशक्त बनाएंगे। उन्होंने कहा कि वह किसान भाइयों को विश्वास दिलाते हैं कि देश में अगर कोई आपके हितों के बारे में सोचता है और आपकी आय को दोगुना करने के लक्ष्य को पूरा कर सकता है तो वह सिर्फ और सिर्फ नरेंद्र मोदी हैं। उन्होंने सचेत करते हुए कहा कि 60 साल तक आपके अधिकारों को लूटने वाले लोग आपको गुमराह कर रहे हैं।


हरियाणा व पंजाब के किसानों का विशेष रूप से  जिक्र करते हुए उन्होंने कहा कि खेती.किसानी के क्षेत्र में हरियाणा व पंजाब की महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका रही है। हमें गर्व है कि इन राज्यों के किसानों के अथक मेहनत के कारण भारत आज खाद्यान्न के क्षेत्र में आत्मनिर्भर ही नहीं बल्कि सरप्लस हुआ है। पंजाब व हरियाणा गेहूं व धान में अग्रणी रहे हैं, लेकिन अब भूजल स्तर कम होने से फसलों के विविधीकरण की आवश्यकता है, जिसके लिए पंजाब और हरियाणा के किसानों ने सफलतापूर्वक कदम बढ़ाए हैं।


उन्होंने कहा कि फूड प्रोसेसिंग पर भी पूरा ध्यान देना जरूरी है। इससे किसानों को उचित मूल्य मिलेगा। वही, संबंधित क्षेत्रों को भी फायदा होगा। कृषि उपजों के एमएसपी को बढ़ाया गया है। 10 हजार नए एफपीओ  बनाने की स्कीम सरकार लाई है। किसानों को ब्याज सब्सिडी दी जा रही है। उन्होंने कहा कि छोटे किसानों जिनकी संख्या 86 प्रतिशत है, को लाभ पहुंचाने पर पूरा ध्यान दिया जा रह है। किसानों को एफपीओ के माध्यम से अनेक फायदे होंगे।


एफपीओ भारत सरकार का एक बड़ा क्रांतिकारी कदम है। उन्होंने कहा कि आत्मनिर्भर भारत अभियान में पैकेज के अंतर्गत 1 लाख करोड़ रुपए के कृषि इंफ्रास्ट्रक्चर फंड से स्वीकृतियां देना प्रारंभ हो चुका है। पंजाब और हरियाणा को भी इसका फायदा उठाना चाहिए। फूड प्रोसेसिंग के विकास के लिए 10 हजार करोड़ का फंड बनाया गया है, जिससे किसानों को वाजिब लाभ मिल सकेगा। वहीं, रोजगार के अवसर भी बढ़ेंगे। अभी तक 37 मेगा फूड पार्कों को केंद्र सरकार द्वारा मंजूरी दी गई है, जिनमें से 20 पूर्व में प्रारंभ हो चुके हैं।

Prof. Raj Kumar, Vice Chancellor, Panjab university, Chandigarh visited today University Institute of Engg. and Technology (UIET). He was accompanied with Prof. R. K. Singla, Department of Computer Science,  Prof. Sukhvir Kaur, DSW (W) and Prof. J.K. Goswamy, Director UIET. While interacting with the coordinators of various branches, he urged them to submit Research projects and Research Papers. He interacted with the staff and urged them for maintaining cleanliness around their work place and strictly follow Covid protocols.

PU, VC visited the Chemistry Lab of UIET and interacted with the Research scholars. They requested the Vice Chancellor for opening of the Lab till 8:00 p.m. and to depute lab technician also.

Online Urdu Calligraphy Contest at PU

Dept. of Urdu, Panjab University organized  first ever “Urdu Calligraphy “ contest today which saw participants from students and research Scholars.

            Dr. Ali Abbas, Coordinator of the Department said that thoughit was an onlinecontest yet the studentshad shown keen interest which is an encouraging sign.  The students have realized that importance of Calligraphy especially to improve their own handwriting, he added.

            Dr. Abbas said that Calligraphy was an ancient art developed and perfected by our ancestors.  “Calligraphy underlines the importance of perfection and excellence achieved after a lot of practice and perseverance.  It disciplines one’s mind, heart and hand through concentration to produce a decorative piece nothing sort of a thing of beauty is a joy for ever.

Best Research Paper Award for UIPS Faculty

Dr Bhupinder Singh Bhoop, Professor at the University Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences (UIPS), and Coordinator, UGC Centre of Excellence in Nano Biomedical Applications, Panjab University (PU), Chandigarh, along with his research team, has recently been selected for the coveted “Dr P D SETHI BEST RESEARCH PAPER AWARD” for their research manuscript entitled, “QbD-steered development and Validation of an RP-HPLC method for quantification of ferulic acid: Rational application of chemometric tools”, published in Journal of Chromatography B (Thomson Reuter Impact Factor of 3.04). The research work on pharmaceutical analysis and drug delivery encompassed in the said paper has been carried out by Mr Sumant Saini, a UGC Meritorious Research Doctoral Fellow working in UIPS, under the supervision of Professor Bhoop, along with the two co-supervisors, viz. Professor O P Katare (UIPS) and Professor S. K. Tripathi (Physics).  The other coauthors are Dr Teenu Sharma, Dr Ranjot Kaur and Dr Asha Patel from Vadodara.

            In a recent communiqué received from M/s  Kongposh Publications Pvt. Ltd., New Delhi, to Professor Bhoop, he was recently informed and congratulated on the announcement of this coveted award to him and his team of coauthors, along with a cash prize of Rs 10,000/-. The aforesaid research work demonstrates the successful and systematic development of an liquid-chromatographic analytical method of ferulic acid, a popular antioxidant bioactive against numerous diseases. The remarkable highlight of the work has been the rational integration of a battery of novel and innovative chemometric tools and scientific techniques like Principal Component Analysis, Monte Carlo Simulations, Variance Factor, Quality Risk Management, and Design of Experiments, and following the principles of analytical Quality by Design (QbD) to result in significantly enhanced analytical quantification, and deeper analytical insights of the process..

            A two-tier process was employed by an expert panel for final selection of the awarded paper based upon their scientific content of pharmaceutical analysis, high impact of publications, originality, data quality and practical utility, among over an hundred papers reviewed all across. (Late) Dr P D Sethi has been a renowned pharmaceutical analyst, the founder director of Central Drugs Laboratory (Govt. of India), and an author of scores of books on pharmaceutical analysis.
