पंचकूला 20 अक्टूबर- हरियाणा विधानसभा अध्यक्ष श्री ज्ञान चंद गुप्ता ने पंचकूला के सेक्टर-26 में राष्ट्रीय फैशन प्रौद्योगिकी संस्थान (निफ्ट) पंचकूला (अस्थायी परिसर) में क्राफ्ट बाजार प्रदर्शनी का उद्घाटन किया। क्राफ्ट बाजार का आयोजन 20 अक्टूबर से 22 अक्टूबर तक सुबह 11 बजे से शाम 6 बजे तक किया जा रहा है।


        इस अवसर पर बोलते हुए श्री गुप्ता ने कहा कि निफ्ट पंचकूला हरियाणा के लोगों के लिए एक लंबे समय से लंबित सपना था, जो अब पूरा हो गया है। उन्होंने कहा कि राज्य सरकार सेक्टर-23 में निफ्ट पंचकूला के लिए एक अत्याधुनिक परिसर विकसित कर रही है, जिसे दिसंबर 2021 तक पूरा कर लिया जाएगा। उन्होंने कहा कि हरियाणा सरकार बुनकरों और कारीगरों के उत्थान के लिए प्रतिबद्ध है और निफ्ट पंचकूला इस लक्ष्य को हासिल करने में अहम भूमिका निभाएगा।


इस मौके पर निफ्ट पंचकूला के निदेशक प्रो. डॉ. अमनदीप सिंह ग्रोवर ने कहा कि वर्तमान में निफ्ट पंचकूला में दो स्नातकोत्तर पाठयक्रम (एम.डी. और एमएफएम) और तीन स्नातक डिजाइन पाठयक्रम (एफडी, एफसी और टीडी में बी.डी.एस.) हैं। एक और अंडर ग्रेजुएट कोर्स बैचलर ऑफ फैशन टेक्नोलॉजी (बीएफटेक) शैक्षणिक सत्र 2022-23 से शुरू होगा। उन्होंने कहा कि यह क्राफ्ट बाजार चल रहे कोविड प्रोटोकॉल के कारण परिसर के आसपास के कारीगरों से मिलकर की गई एक शुरुआत है। उन्होंने कहा कि भविष्य में विभिन्न राज्यों के कारीगरों के साथ इस तरह की कई और शिल्प पहल और अन्य डिजाइन कार्यशालाएं आयोजित की जाएंगी।

Mayor inaugurates dedicated water supply line to sector 22

Chandigarh, October 20:- Sh. Ravi Kant Sharma, Mayor, Chandigarh today inaugurated the independent and dedicated water supply line for catering water supply from sector 37 to Sector 22 Chandigarh involving expenditure about  Rs.62 Lakh.

Speaking on the occasion, the Mayor said that there was demand of the residents of Sector 22 of the low water pressure supply in the area and even does not reach to Second Floor of Marla Houses for the last many years. The residents of second floor had to fetch the water in the buckets from Ground floor and inconvenience to particular senior residents.

He said that the dedicated water distribution line from water works Sector 37 has been laid to supply the water to residents with adequate pressure so that water may reach to tanks placed on the roofs. With the completion of this project, the demand of the residents of Sector 22 now fulfilled. The water supply to the residents will be supply with adequate pressure, added the Mayor.

Mayor lays foundation stone of laying of paver blocks in village Burail

Chandigarh, October 20:- Sh. Ravi Kant Sharma, Mayor, Chandigarh today laid foundation stone of laying of paver blocks in village Burail in the presence of local area councilor Sh. Kanwarjit Rana and prominent persons of the area.

While addressing the local residents, the Mayor said that it was long pending demand of the public to pave the major areas of the village Burail near old fort area, road from side of Dev Samaj College and road near Bhopal Singh area.

He said that the work of laying of paver blocks in total 8207 Sqm area will be completed within stipulated time frame of 6 months at a cost of 68 lacs. He asked the concerned engineers to find out alternate routes during the laying of paver blocks to the local residents to reach out their residences and businesses so as to avoid any kind of hindrance due to execution of work.

सुव्यवस्थित मतदाता शिक्षा एवं निर्वाचन सहभागिता कार्यक्रम (स्वीप) के तहत ऐलनाबाद विधानसभा क्षेत्र में मतदान के प्रति लोगों को प्रोत्साहित करने के लिए सघन जागरूकता अभियान शुरू किया गया है। मतदाता शिक्षा और मतदाता जागरूकता का प्रचार-प्रसार सुनिश्चित बनाने को लेकर प्रतिदिन विभिन्न प्रकार की गतिविधियां आयोजित की जा रही हैं। इसके तहत लोगों को मतदान का महत्व और मतदान के दौरान प्रयोग होने वाली ईवीएम और वीवीपैट मशीन की कार्य प्रणाली से लोगों को अवगत करवाया जा रहा है।

सघन मतदाता जागरूकता अभियान के तहत ईवीएम व वीवीपैट मशीन का प्रदर्शन किया जाता है और आमजन को मशीन की कार्य प्रणाली के बारे में बारीकी से जानकारी दी जाती है। ईवीएम मास्टर ट्रेनर जितेंद्र कुमार ने ग्रामीणों को ईवीएम व वीवीपैट की कार्य प्रणाली के बारे में विस्तार से जानकारी दी। उन्होंने बताया कि ईवीएम में वोट डालते ही मतदाता को वीवीपैट मशीन में सात सेकेंड के लिए एक पर्ची दिखाई देगी, जिसे देखकर मतदाता यह जान पाएगा कि उसने जिस प्रत्याशी के नाम के सामने का बटन दबाया है उसी प्रत्याशी को उसका वोट मिला है या नहीं। उसके बाद यह पर्ची बॉक्स में गिर जाएगी। इसी प्रकार विभागीय भजन पार्टी कलाकारों ने मतदान पर आधारित गीतों व भजनों के माध्यम से आमजन को मतदान करने के लिए प्रेरित किया।

Counting for Registered Graduate Constituency Begins at PU

The Counting for 15 Seats from the Registered Graduate Constituency for PU Senate has commenced today from 2.00 pm at Gymnasium Hall, Panjab University, Chandigarh. There were total 41 candidates in the fray for these 15 seats. The voting was held across 272 booths in two phases which concluded on Sunday i.e. 17.10.2021.

Panjab University has deputed around 200 employees for the purpose which includes Core Team of 4 officials, Assistant Core Team of 9 officials, 16 teams with 6 members each for counting and around 75 as supporting staff.

The first details comprising of valid and invalid votes is expected to be available on 19.10.2021 and thereafter, the first round of counting of first preference votes will commence and shall continue uninterrupted. After the first round, the counting shall continue on all working days from 9 to 6.

MCC inspects parking sites; fines contractors for violations

Chandigarh, October 18:- Following the directions of Ms. Anindita Mitra, IAS, Commissioner, Municipal Corporation Chandigarh, different teams of engineering wing conducted inspection of various parking sites under zone-1 &2 from 8th October to 17th October, 2021 on daily bases.

During the inspection at Zone-1 (32 parking sites) violations of haphazard parking found and challan amounting to Rs. 10,000/- was issued to the contractor. While many violations were found in Zone-2 (Sector 5,8,9,17, and 22) like haphazard parking, attendant without proper uniform. Challans of Rs. 70,000/- were issued to the contractor for violations found.

The Commissioner took serious note of the violations in the parking sites and asked the concerned officers to take strict action against the contractors besides issuing notice.

MCC removes illegal publicity hoardings from city markets

Chandigarh, October 18:- Taking a serious view on mushrooming of illegal advertisement hoardings, the Municipal Corporation Chandigarh today carried out anti encroachment drive in different parts of city and removed unauthorized publicity hoardings.

Following the directions of Ms. Anindita Mitra, IAS, Commissioner, MC, Chandigarh, a team of engineering wing and enforcement wing removed approximately 160 glow signs, hoardings, boards and flexes seizing 3 big truck load of items.

More than 60 boards and glow signs, hoardings have been removed from sector 22 A and approximately 100 glow signs have been removed from sector 34 C.

The Commissioner said that  such type of anti encroachment drives will be carried out on regular bases. The penalty will be imposed upon the violators as per Chandigarh Advertisement Control Order 1954 and Delhi Defacement of Property Act 2007, she added.

पचंकूला, 18 अक्तूबर- फायर एनओसी जारी करने में देरी की शिकायतों पर कड़ा संज्ञान लेते हुए आज हरियाणा विधानसभा अध्यक्ष श्री ज्ञानचंद गुप्ता ने सेक्टर 5 स्थित फायर स्टेशन कार्यालय का औचक निरीक्षण किया।


निरीक्षण के दौरान कार्यालय और फाइलों में अनियमितताएं पाए जााने पर श्री गुप्ता ने संबंधित अधिकारियों व कर्मचारियों के खिलाफ सख्त कार्यवाही करने के निर्देश दिये। निरीक्षण के दौरान कार्यालय में सेवारत कई कर्मचारी भी अपनी डयूटी से गैरहाजिर पाए गए, जिसका कारण बताने में वहां मौजूद अधिकारी असमर्थ रहे।


श्री गुप्ता ने बताया कि काफी समय से उन्हें पंचकूला के बिल्डरों व उद्यौग जगत से जुड़े लोगों से फायर ब्रिगेड कार्यालय के विरूद्ध शिकायतें मिल रही थी कि फायर स्टेशन सेक्टर 5 में बिना किसी कायदे-कानून के कार्य किया जा रहा है। कुछ एनओसीज़ दो दिन में जारी कर दी जाती है और कुछ को बिना किसी कारण के 3-4 महीने तक लंबित रखा जाता है। श्री गुप्ता ने कहा कि  आवश्यक दस्तावेजों को आॅनलाइन अपलोड करने के बाद एनओसीज़ को इतने लंबे समय तक लंबित रखने का कोई कारण नहीं बनता।  


श्री गुप्ता ने कहा कि मुख्यमंत्री श्री मनोहर लाल के नेतृत्व वाली सरकार लोगों को पारदर्शी तरीके से एक तय समयावधि में सभी योजनाओं का लाभ पहुंचाने के लिए कटिबद्ध है और इस तरह की लापरवाही कतई बर्दाश्त नहीं की जायेगी।

उन्होंने नगर निगम के संयुक्त आयुक्त संयम गर्ग को फायर कार्यालय की विस्तृत रिपोर्ट तैयार करने के निर्देश दिये। उन्होंने फायर ब्रिगेड कार्यालय के अधिकारियों को सचेत किया कि वे अपनी कार्यशैली में सुधार लाये व फायर एनओसी जारी करने की प्रक्रिया को और सरल बनाएं ताकि लोगों को कार्यालयों के चक्कर न काटने पड़ें। उन्होंने कहा कि संयुक्त आयुक्त की रिपोर्ट में दोषी पाए जाने वाले अधिकारियों व कर्मचारियों के खिलाफ उचित कार्यवाही की जायेगी।

Chandigarh, October 18:- Ms. Anindita Mitra, IAS, Commissioner, Municipal Corporation Chandigarh held a review meeting today with employee’s union leaders over the issues related to benefits, service rules and regulations and leave benefits etc. The meeting was attended by all the office bearers of employee’s union co-ordination committee, UT, Chandigarh and Head of Departments of Municipal Corporation Chandigarh.

The Commissioner listened to the issues raised by the union leaders and asked the concerned HODs to ensure proper implementation of the same as per the law. The issues were including on time salary; casual leave as per agreement and as per labour law; implementation of notification for safaikarmacharis in regard to basic pay plus DA after merger of 13 villages into MCC; compassionate appointment; oil, soap and jaggery for sewermen; regularization policy for daily wagers; issuance of GP fund statement for class 4 employees; rationalization of safaikarmcharis as per the area wise requirement.

The Commissioner asked all the HODs and chief accounts officer to ensure salary of October month before Diwali. She said that salary of all the outsourced and daily wagers be ensured in the first week of every month and cycle be maintained from date 25th to 25th of every month.

She asked the union leaders to maintain the duty timings properly and all the employees should be in proper uniform. If any employee found in duty without proper uniform, action will be initiated against him as per law, added the Commissioner.
