पंचकूला, 15 जून – हरियाणा योग आयोग एवं प्राथमिक प्रशिक्षण केंद्र, भानु, के संयुक्त तत्वाधान में योग प्रोटोकॉल प्रशिक्षण करवाने के दौरान हरियाणा योग आयोग के अध्यक्ष डॉ जयदीप आर्य ने बताया कि मंडूकासन, शशकासन और वक्रासन ये तीनों आसन मधुमेह रोग (डायबिटिज) में सबसे अधिक कारगर आसन हैं | हाई ब्लड प्रेशर, तनाव प्रबंधन में अनुलोम-विलोम प्राणायाम अत्यंत प्रभावी है |

तीन दिवसीय योग प्रोटोकॉल प्रशिक्षण शिविर के समापन के अवसर पर मुख्य अतिथि के तौर पर पधारे हरियाणा योग आयोग के अध्यक्ष डॉ जयदीप आर्य ने बताया कि हरियाणा सरकार योग को जन- जन तक पहुँचाने के लिए प्रयासरत है | उनके द्वारा योग प्रोटोकॉल अभ्यास के दौरान अत्यंत गर्मी, अत्यंत ठण्ड में विपरीत परिस्थितियों में हिमशिखरों पर तैनात जवानों की स्वास्थ्य सुरक्षा के लिए विशेष आसनों का प्रशिक्षण करवाया गया |
योग प्रोटोकॉल में सूक्ष्म व्यायाम से लेकर आसन, प्राणायाम एवं ध्यान सम्मिलित हैं | अंतर्राष्ट्रीय योग दिवस, 21 जून 2024 की पूर्व तैयारियों की श्रृंखला में 15 जून को प्रात: काल 05:15 बजे जवानों के लिए योग प्रोटोकॉल प्रशिक्षण कार्यक्रम का आयोजन किया गया |
प्राथमिक प्रशिक्षण केंद्र के महानिरीक्षक श्री ए0 पी0 एस0 निम्बाडिया ने जवानों के स्वास्थ्य को ध्यान में रखते हुए समय- समय पर हरियाणा योग आयोग द्वारा आयोजित किये जाने वाले योग शिविरों की सराहना की एवं जवानों में योगाभ्यास के प्रति सकारात्मक प्रतिक्रिया के विषय में सभी को अवगत करवाया। योग स्वास्थ्य की कुंजी है और योग आयोग के माध्यम से जवानों के हित के लिए किये जा रहे प्रयासों से न केवल इस केंद्र के जवानों को लाभ मिलेगा अपितु ये जवान जहां भी जाएंगे वहां योग के द्वारा सभी को लाभान्वित करेंगे। उन्होंने बताया कि आई टी बी पी एवं हरियाणा योग आयोग के साथ मिलकर ग्रामों में आउटरीच प्रोग्राम का आयोजन करेंगें और साथ ही दोनों के मध्य एम ओ यू भी किया जाएगा |
डॉ जयदीप आर्य ने नई विद्या जल योग, अश्वों पर योग आरम्भ करने पर आई टी बी पी टीम का आभार जताया | इसके साथ ही वर्ल्ड योगासन अफ्रीकन टीम के सदस्यों का विशेष रूप से अभिनन्दन किया गया | कार्यक्रम के दौरान आई टी बी पी की केंद्र योगासन टीम द्वारा योगासन की अद्भुत प्रस्तुती दी गयी | हरियाणा योग आयोग की ओर से 100 कॉटन खादी योग मैट भेंट करते हुए पर्यावरण संरक्षण का संदेश दिया |
कार्यक्रम में मुख्य रूप से आई टी बी पी के डी आई जी डॉ टेकचंद जी, हरियाणा योग आयोग के रजिस्ट्रार डॉ राजकुमार , वर्ल्ड योगासन अफ्रीकन टीम, कार्यक्रम की प्रोजेक्ट डायरेक्टर कु. प्रियंका, श्री सत्यवीर, कु. मनीषा, नीरज, हरदीश, रमेश उपस्थित रहे, जिनके सहयोग से इस कार्यक्रम का सफल आयोजन हुआ |

*Team inspects HDPE pipelines at manufacturing plant for the TT Water Supply project*

*Chandigarh, June 15:-* Aiming to upgrade and expand the city’s water infrastructure under the AMRUT 2.0 TT water supply project, the Municipal Corporation Chandigarh (MCC) expert team visited the Manufacturing Plant to inspect HDPE pipelines of various sizes (160mm, 200mm & 250mm).

The inspection process included a thorough visual and physical examination of the pipes to ensure they met all necessary quality standards. This involved checking the quantity, markings, color, and finishing of the pipes, as well as measuring key dimensions such as outer diameter, length, and wall thickness.

Additionally, the pipes underwent a series of tests to assess their structural integrity and performance, including hydrostatic characteristics, melt flow rate (MFR), density, elongation at break, tensile yield strength, ovality, and blue strip width and depth. The carbon black content and dispersion were also evaluated to verify compliance with IS-4984:2016 standards.

While sharing information about the project, Municipal Commissioner Ms. Anindita Mitra, IAS said that the purpose of sending the team on the inspection was to ensure the quality and reliability of the HDPE pipelines, which is a significant milestone for the AMRUT 2.0 TT water supply project. By taking this important step, the MCC is working towards improving water distribution and delivery for the residents of Chandigarh.

She further added that Chandigarh’s existing Tertiary Treated (TT) Water supply network of 437km is one of the earliest of its kind in the country, supplying TT water from STP Diggian to Sectors 1 to 16. The beneficiaries include 4,300 houses of size one kanal and above, 1,200 parks and green belts, and 5 fountains. Moreover, TT water is also utilized for various other non-potable applications such as industrial use, crop irrigation, tree washing, street cleaning through Mechanized Road Sweeping machines for dust suppression, and horticulture purpose through tankers, saving overall 7-10 MGD of fresh water.

She said that after the completion of the AMRUT 2.0 TT water supply project, the entire city, including all villages, will have access to TT water, which shall reduce the freshwater consumption by 20-25 MGD, thus reducing the burden on groundwater sources.
