This is for the information of the candidates in particular and public in 
general that those candidates who had deposited their fee for M.Phil & Ph.D. Entrance Test-2019 well in time but could not complete their forms online should contact the Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Computer Centre, Panjab University, Chandigarh to complete their forms upto 03rd July 2019 till 4:00 P.M. The candidates should bring scanned photograph alongwith signature in Pen Drive alongwith a fine of Rs. 500/-. No further communication in this regard will be entertained thereafter.

Chandigarh June 28, 2019 

        The Department of Life Long Learning & Extension, Panjab University organized a One-day workshop at Panjab University Regional Centre, Shri Mukatsar Sahib. About 70 students of Local Colleges Schools and Community members along with 12 faculty members attended the workshop. Dr.Parmjit Singh Kang, Chairperson, Department of 
Life Long Learning & Extension introduced the Resource Persons and informed the participants about Various Courses, Procedure of Admission, Fee structure, Last date to apply and Hostel Facilities for out station students etc. 

        Dr. Parmjit Singh Kang in particular informed the participants about the short term Vocational and Skill Development Courses being run by the Department. On the inquiry Dr.Kang conveyed to them that at present, Department is running a regular Two Semester Diploma in Pre-school Education along with the Certificate Course in Computer Applications and Short-term Course in Fashion Designing and Cosmetology etc. He also said the Department can organize any such courses on demand. 

        Dr. Gaurav Gaur, Assistant Professor, Department of Social Work informed the participants about courses being run by his Department. Dr. Jasbir Singh from the Department of History conveyed to the participants about the value and relevance of the subject of History. 

        Dr. Jasminder Singh Dhillon, Director P.U.R.C. informed the participants about the courses being offered at Panjab University Regional Centre. Dr. Parmjit Singh Dhingra, Former Director from the Panjab University Rural Centre, Kauni, conveyed to participants about the courses being offered at Kauni Centre, Dr. Gurpreet Kaur from Panjab University Regional Centre conducted the workshop and 
proposed a Vote of Thanks.

general that the Answer-key alongwith Question Booklet of PU-LL.B. (3Year) Course Entrance Test-2019 conducted by Panjab University on 22nd June 2019 is available on the Website i.e. http://exams.puchd.ac.in/show-noticeboard.php

        The candidates can file their objections regarding discrepancy and accuracy of the answers by email at [email protected], by June 29, 2019 upto 10:00 a.m.

The three day workshop to sensitize the students about the various Skill 
Development Programme, academic courses and infrastructure support that is offered by Panjab University was successfully concluded, here today. Candidates  from all walks of life participated in this workshop and the Chairpersons of University Institute Of Hotel And Tourism Management, University Business School, Music, University Institute of Applied Management Sciences and Art History and Visual Arts informed them about  different courses that a student can opt, the ways of taking admissions in these courses, research opportunities, placement details, departmental thrust areas, eminent alumni’s, infrastructure and new courses that are being introduced. Students asked many questions from the chairpersons and after being satisfied showed their interest to be a part of Panjab University
