The Department of Life Long Learning & Extension, PU organized a One-day workshop at Panjab University Regional Centre, Shri Mukatsar Sahib

        The Department of Life Long Learning & Extension, Panjab University organized a One-day workshop at Panjab University Regional Centre, Shri Mukatsar Sahib. About 70 students of Local Colleges Schools and Community members along with 12 faculty members attended the workshop. Dr.Parmjit Singh Kang, Chairperson, Department of 
Life Long Learning & Extension introduced the Resource Persons and informed the participants about Various Courses, Procedure of Admission, Fee structure, Last date to apply and Hostel Facilities for out station students etc. 

        Dr. Parmjit Singh Kang in particular informed the participants about the short term Vocational and Skill Development Courses being run by the Department. On the inquiry Dr.Kang conveyed to them that at present, Department is running a regular Two Semester Diploma in Pre-school Education along with the Certificate Course in Computer Applications and Short-term Course in Fashion Designing and Cosmetology etc. He also said the Department can organize any such courses on demand. 

        Dr. Gaurav Gaur, Assistant Professor, Department of Social Work informed the participants about courses being run by his Department. Dr. Jasbir Singh from the Department of History conveyed to the participants about the value and relevance of the subject of History. 


        Dr. Jasminder Singh Dhillon, Director P.U.R.C. informed the participants about the courses being offered at Panjab University Regional Centre. Dr. Parmjit Singh Dhingra, Former Director from the Panjab University Rural Centre, Kauni, conveyed to participants about the courses being offered at Kauni Centre, Dr. Gurpreet Kaur from Panjab University Regional Centre conducted the workshop and 
proposed a Vote of Thanks.
