MCC organises flashmob on ‘Swachh Anthem’ under Swachh Amrit Mahotsav at Plaza, Sector 17
Chandigarh, September 27:- Focusing on mobilising citizen action and commitment towards the vision of building ‘Garbage Free City’, the Municipal Corporation Chandigarh today organised flashmob on ‘Swachh Anthem’ under Swachh Amrit Mahotsav at Plaza, Sector 17, Chandigarh.
The flashmob was staged by a group of NSS students from MCM DAV College, Sector 36, Chandigarh with the support of Leo Club Chandigarh Fortune. The LEO Club Chandigarh Fortune actively supporting and participating in the activity in collaboration with Municipal Corporation Chandigarh to stand along with national wide initiative of #IndiaVsGarbage.
The group of students assembled suddenly near the fountain area, performed with full enthusiasm on Swachhata Anthem, then quickly dispersed.
Swachh Amrit Mahotsav ‘Ek Aur Kadam Swachhata Ki Ore’ signifying the resolve to intensify and reinvigorate the mass movement in the world’s largest sanitation program. The major focus of the programme is to engage the young generation to keep the Chandigarh city clean and garbage free.
