कालका की विधायक श्रीमती लतिका शर्मा सेंट विवेकानंद स्कूल एचएमटी पिंजौर में पौधागिरी कार्यक्रम के तहत पौधारोपण करते हुए।
कालका की विधायक श्रीमती लतिका शर्मा ने बच्चों को आह्वान किया कि वे पौधागिरी कार्यक्रम में लगाये गये पौधों की बड़े होने तक देखभाल करें। उन्होंने कहा कि ये पौधे न केवल पर्यावरण सुरक्षा में मददगार साबित होंगे बल्कि बच्चों के लिये भी जीवनभर एक यादगार के तौर पर स्थापित रहेंगे।
श्रीमती शर्मा आज सेंट विवेकानंद स्कूल एचएमटी पिंजौर में पौधागिरी कार्यक्रम के तहत पौधारोपण करने उपरांत विद्यार्थियों को संबोधित कर रहे थे। उन्होंने इस मौके पर छठीं से बारहवीं कक्षा के विद्यार्थियांें को अपने घर आंगन में पौधे लगाने के लिये वन विभाग की ओर से पौधे भी वितरित किये।
विधायक ने कहा कि विकास के साथ साथ पर्यावरण की सुरक्षा भी जरूरी है और पर्यावरण की सुरक्षा का सबसे बेहतर माध्यम अधिक से अधिक पौधारोपण हैं। पौधों से जहां वातावरण हरा भरा रहता है वहीं ओद्यौगिक विकास, बढते परिवहन के कारण पर्यावरण में प्रदूषण की मात्रा को बढ़ने से भी रोका जा सकता है। उन्होंने कहा कि मुख्यमंत्री द्वारा पौधारोपण कार्यक्रम के साथ बच्चों को जोड़ने के लिये पौधागिरी कार्यक्रम आरंभ किया गया है और उसके काफी सार्थक परिणाम भी आये है।
इस कार्यक्रम में उप जिला शिक्षा अधिकारी सुनीता नैन, स्कूल के प्रिंसीपल पीयूष कुंज, स्कूल के अध्यापक, वन विभाग के अधिकारी व अन्य गणमान्य व्यक्ति उपस्थित थे।

जलशक्ति अभियान के तहत आज जिला सचिवालय के बैठक हाल में एक कार्यशाला का आयोजन किया गया। इस कार्यशाला की अध्यक्षता जिला परिषद की चेयरपर्सन श्रीमती रितु सिंगला ने किया और कार्यक्रम में जिला परिषद की मुख्य कार्यकारी अधिकारी सुश्री निशु सिंगल सहित अन्य संबंधित अधिकारी शामिल थे।
मुख्य कार्यकारी अधिकारी ने कार्यशाला में उपस्थित जनप्रतिनिधियों और ग्राम सचिवों को संबोधित करते हुए कहा कि लोगों को जल संरक्षण के प्रति जागरूक करें। उन्होंने कहा कि ग्रामीण और शहरी क्षेत्र में तलाबों के जीर्णोद्धार के लिये कार्य योजना तैयार की जा रही है ताकि वर्षा के पानी का संग्रह करके वाॅटर रिचार्जजिंग को बढ़ावा दिया जा सके। उन्होंने कहा कि घटता जल स्तर चिंता का विषय है और इसके लिये प्रशासन व नागरिक मिलकर जल संरक्षण के लिये प्रयास करें।
उन्होंने कहा कि पहाड़ी क्षेत्रों में जहां वाॅटर शैड इत्यादि के माध्यम से जल संरक्षण की संभावना है, उसके लिये भी संबंधित विभागों के माध्यम से प्रयास किये जा रहे है। उन्होंने कहा कि इस अभियान के तहत प्राकृतिक जल स्त्रोतों को सुरक्षित करने के अलावा जागरूकता गतिविधियों पर विशेष बल दिया जायेगा। उन्होंने कहा कि जहां किसानों को कम सिंचाई वाली फसलें उगाने के लिये सरकार द्वारा जल ही जीवन है कार्यक्रम चलाया गया है वहीं घरों और संस्थानों में प्रतिदिन प्रयोग होने वाले जल की बचत के लिये भी जागरूकता जीवन है। उन्होंने कहा कि भावी पीढ़ियों के लिये जल के पर्याप्त भंडारण के लिये आज से जल संरक्षण पर ध्यान देने की आवश्यकता है।
इस कार्यशाला में सिंचाई विभाग के अधिकारी अभियंता संदीप कुमार, पंचायती राज विभाग के कार्यकारी अभियंता अशोक श्योकंद, खंड विकास एवं पंचायत अधिकारी डाॅ. दलजीत सिंह, सहायक भूमि संरक्षण अधिकारी राहुल बढकोटिया, परियोजना अधिकारी राजेंद्र कुमार सहित अन्य अधिकारियों ने भी प्रतिभागियों को जलशक्ति अभियान के अलग अलग पहलुओं की जानकारी दी।

विधायक एवं मुख्य सचेतक ज्ञानचंद गुप्ता ने बताया कि नगर निगम पंचकूला द्वारा 21 जुलाई को प्रातः 6 बजे काॅम स्केयर सेक्टर-5 पंचकूला से वाकाथन कार्यक्रम आयोजित किया जायेगा। उन्होंने बताया कि जिला ओलंपिक एसोसियेशन और स्पोर्टस प्रमोशन सोसायटी के सहयोग से आयोजित किये जाने वाले इस वाकाथन का विषय स्वच्छ पंचकूला, स्वस्थ पंचकूला और सुंदर पंचकूला रखा गया है।
उन्होंने बताया कि इस कार्यक्रम में हजारों की संख्या में पंचकूलावासी शामिल होंगे। इस कार्यक्रम में राज्य सरकार की ओर से विशिष्ठ अतिथियों को आमंत्रित किया जायेगा। उन्होंने बताया कि वाकाथन में शामिल हजारों प्रतिभागी शहरवासियों को पंचकूला शहर को स्वच्छ रखने, शहरवासियों को स्वास्थ्य के प्रति जागरूक करने तथा पंचकूला की सुंदरता को और अधिक बढ़ाने का संदेश देंगे।

पंचकूला विधायक एवं मुख्य सचेतक ज्ञानचंद गुप्ता ने आज राजकीय वरिष्ठ माध्यमिक विद्यालय सेक्टर-7 से जिला में पौधागिरी कार्यक्रम का शुभारंभ किया। उन्होंने स्वयं भी स्कूल परिसर में पौधा लगाया और बच्चों को पौधारोपण करने और लगाये गये पौधों की देखभाल के लिये प्रेरित किया। उन्होंने कहा कि बच्चें प्रतिदिन नहाने के बाद लगाये गये पौधे में पानी डालना न भूले और पौधों के साथ सेल्फी खिचवायें।
उन्होंने कहा कि बढ़ रहा पर्यावरण प्रदूषण विश्व के लिये एक बड़ी चुनौति के रूप में सामने आया है और इसका एकमात्र समाधान अधिक से अधिक पौधारोपण है। उन्होंने कहा कि भावी पीढ़ी को स्वच्छ वातावरण उपलब्ध करवाने और पर्यावरण की सुरक्षा के लिये प्रत्येक व्यक्ति को पौधारोपण में सहयोग करना चाहिए। उन्होंने कहा कि पौधे व्यक्ति को जीवन से लेकर मृत्यु तक किसी न किसी रूप में सहयोग करते है और पर्यावरण में फैली हुई जहरीली गैसों को स्वयं ग्रहण करके मानवता को शुद्ध आक्सीजन देते है।
जिला शिक्षा अधिकारी एचएस सैनी ने इस अवसर पर बताया कि मुख्यमत्री मनोहरलाल द्वारा पौधारोपण को बढ़ावा देने के लिये स्कूली बच्चों के लिये पौधागिरी कार्यक्रम आरंभ किया गया है। इस कार्यक्रम के तहत छठी से बारहवीं कक्षा तक के विद्यार्थियों को घर आंगन में पौधे लगाने के लिये निशुल्क पौधे दिये जाते है। बच्चों द्वारा पौधों के साथ सेल्फी भी ली जाती है और पौधों की बेहतर देखरेख करने वाले विद्यार्थियों को प्रोत्साहित भी किया जाता हैं। उन्होंने बताया कि वन विभाग द्वारा पौधागिरी कार्यक्रम के तहत पंचकूला जिला के सरकारी और गैर सरकारी विद्यालयों के छठी से आठवीं कक्षा तक के विद्याार्थियों को लगभग एक लाख पौधे निशुल्क वितरित किये जायेंगे।
इस मौके पर जिला शिक्षा अधिकारी एचएस सैनी, सहायक वन मंडल अधिकारी यशपाल जागंड़ा, शिक्षा विभाग के इको क्लब इंचार्ज नरेंद्र बलहारा, प्रिंसीपल सतीश कुमार सहित अन्य अध्यापक और गणमान्य व्यक्ति मौजूद थे।

More than 40 trees of Ashoka and Hamilia were planted in the premises of the BMS Block-II in South campus. “A lot of excitement could be seen among the faculty, staff and students of the department and they have adopted the same with a promise to nurture the trees for a greener campus” as stated by the Chairperson of the department, Prof. Archana Bhatnagar.

“The students were asked to constantly innovate and reinvent by acquiring new skills”, said Shri. Mandip S Brar, IAS, Deputy Commissioner (DC), Chandigarh, while addressing the MBA (Sectoral) Batch 2019-21 of University Institute of Applied Management Sciences (UIAMS), Panjab University, Chandigarh at the Orientation Programme, here today. He stressed on the importance of written as well as oral communication skills in order to motivate or to influence people. He also added that listening of equally important to understand the perspective of the other side. She Brar further added that to be a good leader, one has to be a good follower. He further urged the students to maintain high level of integrity and follow values and ethics, both in professional life as well as in personal conduct.
Prof. Raj Kumar ,Vice Chancellor, Panjab University, Chandigarh in his address appreciated UIAMS for its industry specific specialised courses. He advised the students to use these two years to equip themselves with the right skills. He encouraged the students towards the culture of innovation, start-ups and entrepreneurship. PU, VC encouraged the students to extend their interaction across other departments and build multi-disciplinary approach to innovations and problem solving. He urged them to work for Corporate linkages.
Shri. T.K. Ruby CEO Raymed Pharmaceutical Ltd. Chandigarh in his address said that the students are like waves of the sea and they should not and cannot be stopped. They have immense potential but they have to take up the responsibility for their own lives. He also shared his mantras of success with the students stating that physical fitness, mental alertness, goal clarity and proactiveness are absolutely essential. The Director, UIAMS, Prof. Upasna Joshi welcomed the esteemed guests and the new students to the occasion. She briefed the students about the Institute, the teaching learning process at UIAMS and the various activities to be conducted in the next two years. The students were also briefed about the various curricular and co-curricular clubs in UIAMS that the students can be a part of. They were further briefed about the placement activities organised by the placement cell at UIAMS.

श्री गुप्ता आज औद्योगिक प्रशिक्षण संस्थान सेक्टर-16 पंचकूला में आयोजित विश्व युवा कौशन दिवस के उपलक्ष्य में आयोजित कार्यक्रम के प्रतिभागियों को संबोधित कर रहे थे। जिला रोजगार कार्यालय द्वारा आयोजित इस कार्यक्रम में उन्होंने इस कार्यक्रम में अप्रैल से जून महीने तक सक्षम योजना के तहत युवाओं को कार्य करने का अवसर देने के क्षेत्र में उल्लेखनीय कार्य करने वाले कृषि विभाग, जनस्वास्थ्य विभाग, पशु पालन विभाग, नागरिक अस्पताल पंचकूला व मार्किंट कमेटी से आये सचिवों को सम्मानित किया।
जिला रोजगार अधिकारी श्रीमती ममता बूरा ने यह जानकारी देते हुए बताया कि सक्षम योजना के अंतर्गत कार्यरत सक्षम युवाओं द्वारा बनाई गई सैल्फी विडियों में से नीरज धीमान, नरेंद्र कौर व निधि शर्मा को विशेष कार्य के लिये सम्मानित किया गया। इस विडियों में सक्षम युवाओं ने सरकार की सक्षम योजना के तहत उनके जीवन में आये बदलाव की जानकारी दी है। इसके अलावा विश्व युवा कौशल दिवस के मौके पर आईटीआई के विद्यार्थियों ने रंगोली व मेंहदी प्रतियोगिता में भाग लिया। कार्यक्रम में जिला रोजगार अधिकारी ममता बूरा, सहायक रोजगार अधिकारी सालिनी, आईटीआई की प्रिंसीपल बलविंद्र कौर व कालका आईटीआई की प्रिंसीपल सोनिका तक्षक उपस्थित रहे।
