Mayor and councilors hails the services under ICCC project

Chandigarh, October 1:- The celebration of grand event of 75th anniversary of our freedom as “Azadi ka Amrut Mahotsav” continues on Friday with the demonstration of various services to the councilors of MCC, Media representatives, students of different schools and citizens at the Command and control centre, MCC building, Sector 17, Chandigarh.

Sh. Ravi Kant Sharma, Mayor, Chandigarh was the chief guest during the demonstration programme which was attended by councilors of MCC including Sh. Mahesh Inder Siddhu, Senior Deputy Mayor, Mrs. Farmila, Deputy Mayor and officers of BEL and MCC.

During the programme, the team of experts demonstrated Integrated Command and Control Centre (ICCC) platform and smart field solutions such as intelligent traffic management system (ITMS), Adaptive Traffic control system (ATCS), CCTS surveillance equipped with artificial intelligence based video analytics etc.

The Chandigarh Smart City Ltd. team demonstrated the ICCC platform to the Mayor and councillors with integrated traffic control system, e-challan system, live monitoring by surveillance cameras etc. The demonstration was given in three batches, where first batch was for Councilors, the second batch was for media representatives and the third batch was of students and general citizens.

While speaking on the occasion, Sh. Ravi Kant Sharma, Mayor said that Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav is dedicated to the people of India who have not only been instrumental in bringing India far evolutionary journey but also hold within them the power and potential to take India up to new heights.

He said that one of such umbrella “Information and Communication technology” initiative of Chandigarh Municipal Corporation and Chandigarh Smart City Limited is Integrated Command and Control Center abbreviated as ICCC. Under this project, it has been envisaged not only to provide smart services to their citizen but also to enhance the safety and security infrastructure in the city.

Mayor greets MCC employees on cycle to work day

Chandigarh, October 1:- Commemorating 75th Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav, the Municipal Corporation Chandigarh today observed “Cycle to Work” day. Today all the employees of MCC including Officers and Chandigarh Mayor Sh. Ravi Kant Sharma ride cycles to the office.

MCC organizes Waste to Art exhibition cum live workshop at Plaza sector 17

Chandigarh, October 1:- Waste disposal is a huge challenge for every citizen, but Municipal Corporation Chandigarh has found a special use for some of its waste material- it has transformed them into work of art.

Celebrating the 75th Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav, The Municipal Corporation Chandigarh has organized an one day waste to art exhibition cum live workshop under the banner “Apshist Kala Pradrshni” to honour various artists working in the transformation of waste items into best art. Artists from different NGOs, organizations and individuals gathered in Plaza, Sector 17, Chandigarh today to showcase their talent and transformation of waste into best out of waste.

Sh. Ravi Kant Sharma, Mayor, Chandigarh was the Chief Guest during the exhibition cum workshop. He appreciated the works of artists for their wonderful exhibits which are being miraculously made out of household waste.

He said that art, which is not only a delight for the eyes but also sends out a strong social message, is the need of the hour. This Waste to Art exhibition cum live workshop would create awareness on various environmental issues also. The initiative is also going to boost socio-cultural art in the city and would encourage young artists to come up with new ideas.

पंचकूला,  1 अक्टूबर-       उपायुक्त  विनय प्रताप सिंह ने बताया कि  पंचकूला में कोरोना के मामलो में काफी गिरावट दर्ज हुई है। आज जिले में  कोरोना के केस का ग्राफ जीरो दर्ज हुआ। कोरोना रिकवरी रेट 98.71 प्रतिशत दर्ज हुआ है।


         उपायुक्त ने आमजन से अपील की है कि वे कोरोना संक्रमण से सतर्क रहते हुए केंद्र और राज्य सरकार द्वारा  कोविड-19 नियमों की सख्ती से पालना करें, बचाव के उपायों को अपनाएं तथा घबराएं नहीं। स्वयं की, परिवारजनों की तथा अन्य लोगों की सुरक्षा के दृष्टिगत बाहर जाते समय मास्क अवश्य पहनें और दिन में कई बार साबुन व सेनेटाइजर से हाथों को अच्छी प्रकार से धोएं तथा छींकते व खांसते समय नाक व मुंह ढकें। इसके अलावा, भीड़भाड़ वाले स्थानों पर जाने से बचें तथा हाथ मिलाने की जगह नमस्कार करें।

पंचकूला, 1 अक्तूबर- उपायुक्त श्री विनय प्रताप सिंह ने लघु सचिवालय के सभागार में जिला के सभी विभागों के अधिकारियों को 01 अक्तूबर 2021 से 31 अक्तुबर 2021 तक चलने वाले स्वच्छता अभियान की शपथ दिला कर शुभारंभ किया।  


यह अभियान नेहरु युवा केन्द्र संगठन, युवा कार्यक्रम एंव खेल मन्त्रालय, भारत सरकार के तत्वाधान में देश की अजादी की  75 वीं अमृत महोत्सव की कड़ी के अन्र्तगत हरियाणा प्रदेश के सभी जिलों में नेहरु युवा केन्द्रांे द्वारा ग्रामीण युवक एंव युवती मण्डलों के सहयोग से आयोजित किया जा रहा है।


इस अभियान के लिए उपायुक्त श्री विनय प्रताप सिंह को अध्यक्ष जबकि अतिरिक्त उपायुक्त मोहम्मद इमरान रज़ा को उपाध्यक्ष और जिला परिषद की मुख्य कार्यकारी अधिकारी निशु सिंघल को नोडल अधिकारी नियुक्त किया गया है।

नेहरू युवा केन्द्र, पंचकूला के संचालक प्रदीप कुमार ने बताया कि 3 व 4 अक्तूबर को धार्मिक स्थल पर स्वच्छता अभियान की शुरूआत अश्विन नवरात्र मेला के मद्देनजर माता मनसा देवी मंदिर को स्वच्छ व साफ करके की जायेगी। 4 व 5 अक्तूबर को कार्पोरेट सेक्टर ब्हेल पंचकूला प्लास्टिक फ्री और साफ-सफाई ड्राईव चलाएगा। 6 व 7 अक्तूबर को स्पोर्टस पर्सनज़ ताउ देवी लाल स्टेडियम व सभी खेल परिसरों में प्लास्टिक फ्री और साफ-सफाई ड्राईव चलाएंगे। 8-9 अक्तूबर को रेलवे आॅफिसर स्टाफ रेलवे स्टेशन व बस स्टेशन पंचकूला में प्लास्टिक फ्री और साफ-सफाई ड्राईव चलाएगा। 10 अक्तूबर को पुलिस, मीडिया, सीआरपीएफ और आईटीबीपी, पुलिस लाईन एचओडी व पंचकूला के सभी एसएचओ पुलिस लाईन पंचकूला व सभी पुलिस स्टेशनों में  प्लोग रन व प्लास्टिक फ्री अभियान चलाएंगे। 11-12 अक्तूबर को सभी राजनैतिक पार्टियां व जिला प्रधान सभी गांवों में प्लोग रन व प्लास्टिक फ्री अभियान चलाएंगे। 13-14 अक्तूबर को एनजीओ व सिविल सोसायटी के सभी प्रधान स्टैंड विद नेचर पर प्लोग रन व प्लास्टिक फ्री अभियान चलाएंगे। 18-19 अक्तूबर को बिजनेस कम्युनिटी व व्यापार मण्डल सब्जी मंडी पंचकूला में स्वच्छता और प्लास्टिक फ्री अभियान चलाएंगे। 20-21 को सभी महिला ग्रुप सभी आंगनवाड़ी और कन्या विद्यालय व महाविद्यालयों में चित्रकला प्रतियागिता व स्वच्छता और प्लास्टिक फ्री अभियान चलाया जायेगा। 22-23 अक्तूबर को सभी सरकारी स्कूलों व काॅलेजों के ग्रामीण आंचल के अध्यापक वेस्ट कलैक्शन शपथ लेंगे तथा भाषण प्रतियोगिता के साथ-साथ प्लास्टिक फ्री अभियान चलाएंगें 23 अक्तूबर को वन विभाग के जिला के सभी अधिकारी/कर्मचारी प्लोग रन प्लैज व प्लास्टिक फ्री अभियान चलाएंगे। 24 को फिल्म एवं टीवी इंडस्ट्री  इंप्रूवमेंट ट्रस्ट के लोग कचरा इकट्ठा करेंगे व प्लास्टिक फ्री अभियान चलाएंगे। 25-26 अक्तूबर को सभी प्रिंसीपल व राजकीय स्नातकोत्तर महाविद्यालय व कन्या महाविद्वालय व एनएसएस अधिकारी स्वच्छता व प्लास्टिक फ्री अभियान चलाएंगे। 27-28 अक्तूबर को टैलीकाॅम व पोस्टल आफिसर बीएसएनएल आफिस कालका स्वच्छता व प्लास्टिक फ्री अभियान चलाएगा। 29-30 अक्तूबर को बस स्टैंड हरियाणा पंचकूला में कचरा इकट्ठा करेंगे व प्लास्टिक फ्री अभियान चलाया जायेगा। 31 अक्तूबर को एनवाईकेएस, एनएसएस, पीआरआई, आईसीडीएस, हैल्थ, पब्लिक हैल्थ, जिला परिषद के सभी विभाग, सभी गांवों में प्लैज, प्लोग रन व प्लास्टिक फ्री अभियान चला कर इस अभियान को सफल बनाएंगे।

पंचकूला, 1 अक्तूबर- हरियाणा विधानसभा अध्यक्ष श्री ज्ञानचंद गुप्ता ने आज ‘वल्र्ड एल्डर्स डे’ के उपलक्ष में सीनियर सिटीजन काउंसिल पंचकूला द्वारा डे केयर सैंटर-कम-ओल्ड एज होम, सेक्टर 15  में आयोजित कार्यक्रम में बतौर मुख्य अतिथि शिरकत की व काउंसिल को डे केयर सैंटर-कम-ओल्ड एज होम के लिए 10 लाख रूपए देने की घोषणा की।


वरिष्ठ नागरिकों को ‘वल्र्ड एल्डर्स डे’ की शुभकामनाएं देते हुए श्री गुप्ता ने कहा कि आज विश्व भर में वरिष्ठ नागरिकों के सम्मान में अनेक कार्यक्रम आयोजित किए जा रहे हैं।


श्री गुप्ता ने कहा कि वरिष्ठ नागरिक हमारे शहर की शान व पहचान हैं। उन्होंने कहा कि आज हरियाणा में शायद ही कोई ऐसी जगह है जहां पंचकूला से ज्याया वरिष्ठ नागरिक रहते हों। पंचकूला ने पिछले वर्षों में जिस प्रकार से विकास व तरक्की की है, यह कर्मचारियों, कारोबारियों व वरिष्ठ नागरिकों के लिए रहने की पहली पसंद बन गया है।


उन्होंने कहा कि पहले लोग चण्डीगढ़ में रहना पसंद करते थे परंतु अधिक ट्रैफिक व भीड़-भाड़ के कारण लोगों का रूझान पंचकूला की ओर बढा है क्योंकि यहां चण्डीगढ़ के मुकाबले कम प्रदूषण है। उन्होंने बताया कि पिछले कुछ महीनों में पंचकूला में प्रोपर्टी के रेटों में उछाल आया है, जो यह दर्शाता है कि लोगों का आकर्षण पंचकूला की ओर बढा है।


उन्होंने कहा कि वर्तमान हरियाणा सरकार ने वरिष्ठ नागरिकों के कल्याण के लिए अनेक कदम उठाए हैं। उन्होंने बताया कि पंचकूला में 2 बड़े सीनियर सिटीजन होम-एक माता मनसा देवी परिसर में व एक घग्गर पार सेक्टर 27 में 14-14 करोड़ रूपए की लागत से बनाए जा रहे हैं। उन्होंने बताया कि अब पंचकूला के सामुदायिक केन्द्र नगर निगम के अधीन आ गए हैं। वर्तमान में पंचकूला में 18 ऐसे भवन हैं। उन्होंने कहा कि सामुदायिक केन्द्रों का नाम शहीदों के नाम पर रखने का निर्णय लिया गया है ताकि हम देश के प्रति अपने प्राण न्यौछावर करने वाले वीर सपूतों को सच्ची श्रद्धांजलि दे सकें। उन्होंने बताया कि सामुदायिक केन्द्रों की उचित देख-भाल व इनके रख-रखाव के लिए 7 से 8 सदस्यों की कमेटी के गठन का निर्णय लिया गया है, जिसमें वरिष्ठ नागरिकों समेत 4 लोग उसी क्षेत्र के होंगे। संबंधित क्षेत्र के पार्षद इस कमेटी के अध्यक्ष होंगे। उन्होंने बताया कि हर सामुदायिक केन्द्र में वरिष्ठ नागरिकों के लिए वुडन बेडमिंटन कोर्ट समेत दूसरी खेल सुविधाएं उपलब्ध करवाने का निर्णय लिया गया है।

सिनीयर सिटीजन काउंसिल के अध्यक्ष श्री आर पी मल्होत्रा ने कहा कि वल्र्ड ऐल्डर्स डे का मुख्य उद्देश्य वरिष्ठ नागरिकों को उनके अधिकारों से अवगत करवाना है ताकि उनके हितों की रक्षा की जा सके। उन्होंने कहा कि यह डे केयर सैंटर-कम-ओल्ड एज होम विधानसभा अध्यक्ष श्री ज्ञानचंद गुप्ता के अथक प्रयासों से बना है। उन्होंने कहा कि ऐसा भवन हरियाणा में शायद ही किसी सीनियर सिटीजन काउंसिल द्वारा स्थापित किया गया हो। उन्होंने कहा कि इस प्रकार के और भी भवन स्थापित किए जने चाहिए ताकि वरिष्ठ नागरिक वहां बैठ कर अपना सुख-दुख बांट सकें।

पंचकूला, 1 अक्तूबर- पंचकूला विधानसभा क्षेत्र में चल रही विभिन्न विकास परियोजनाएं अब फायर एनओसी की वजह से लंबित नहीं रहेंगी। विधानसभा अध्यक्ष श्री ज्ञानचंद गुप्ता निर्देशों के बाद नगर निगम ने लंबित सभी फायर एनओसीज़ जारी कर दी हैं।

इस आश्य की जानकारी आज विधानसभा अध्यक्ष श्री ज्ञानचंद गुप्ता की अध्यक्षता में सेक्टर-1 स्थित पीडब्ल्यूडी रेस्ट हाउस में पंचकूला विधानसभा क्षेत्र के विभिन्न विकास कार्यों की प्रगति की समीक्षा के लिए आयोजित बैठक में दी गई । बैठक में उपायुक्त श्री विनय प्रताप सिंह भी उपस्थित थे।


उल्लेखनीय है कि पिछले माह आयोजित समीक्षा बैठक में श्री गुप्ता ने विभिन्न विकासात्मक परियोजनाओं के लिये फायर एनओसी न जारी होने पर नाराज़गी जताई थी व संबंधित अधिकारियों को जल्द से जल्द सभी लंबित फायर एनओसी के मामलों को निपटाने के निर्देश दिये थे।


श्री गुप्ता ने कहा कि यह एक अहम बैठक है और अधिकारी विभिन्न विकासात्मक परियोजनाओं के लिये जो भी समयवाधि यहां बताते है, उसे तय समय में पूरा करने का प्रयत्न करें ताकि जनता को जल्द से जल्द से उनका लाभ दिया जा सके। श्री गुप्ता ने बैठक में लोक निर्माण विभाग (भवन एवं सड़कें), स्वास्थ्य विभाग, हरियाणा राज्य कृषि विपणन बोर्ड, एचवीपीएनएल, सिंचाई, हाउसिंग बोर्ड, एचएसआईआईडीसी, हरियाणा शहरी विकास प्राधिकरण, नगर निगम पंचकूला, जन स्वास्थ्य अभियांत्रिकी, जिला खेल कार्यालय, हरियाणा रोडवेज, पुलिस हाउसिंग काॅर्पोरेशन, वन मंडल मोरनी, फायर स्टेशन पंचकूला तथा उत्तर हरियाणा बिजली वितरण निगम से संबंधित विभिन्न विकासात्मक गतिविधियों व योजनाओं की प्रगति की समीक्षा की।


श्री गुप्ता ने लोक निर्माण विभाग (भवन एवं सड़कें) व हरियाणा शहरी विकास प्राधिकरण को निर्देश दिये कि वे सेक्टर-19 पंचकूला में चंडीगढ-अंबाला रेलवे लाईन पर बनाये जा रहे रेलवे आॅवर ब्रिज के कार्य में तेजी लाये ताकि दीवाली से पूर्व इसे जनता को समर्पित किया जा सके। उन्होंने लोक निर्माण विभाग को बरवाला में बनाये जा रहे राजकीय कन्या वरिष्ठ माध्यमिक स्कूल के कार्य को शीघ्र से शीघ्र पूरा करने के निर्देश भी दिये। श्री गुप्ता ने कहा कि प्राथमिक स्वास्थ्य केंद्र बरवाला में आयुर्वेंदिक अस्पताल के साथ साथ यहां 30 से 50 बैड का अस्पताल खोले जाने की संभावनाओं को भी तलाशा जाये। उन्होंने कहा कि बरवाला के निवासियों ने उनसे यहां 30 से 50 बैड का अस्पताल खोलने की मांग की है। उन्होंने सिविल सर्जन डाॅ. मुक्ता कुमार को इस अस्पताल के लिये विस्तृत परियोजना रिपोर्ट एक सप्ताह के अंदर प्रस्तुत करने के निर्देश दिये। उन्होंने कहा कि सेक्टर-26 स्थित पोलीक्लिनिक के विस्तार के मद्देनजर सिविल सर्जन वहां स्थापित फूड एंड ड्रग एडमिस्ट्रेशन के कार्यालय को सेक्टर-20 स्थित एग्रो माॅल में सरकार द्वारा निर्धारित रेंट पर स्थानांतरित करने का अनुरोध करें।

बैठक में बताया गया कि हरियाणा राज्य कृषि विपणन बोर्ड द्वारा कनौली से खंगेसरा तक 1.63 किलोमीटर लंबी रोड बनाने के लिये टेंडर अलाॅटमेंट का कार्य प्रगति पर है और 10 दिन के अंदर टेंडर अलाॅट कर कार्य शुरू कर दिया जायेगा। इसी प्रकार कृषि भवन में साॅयल टेस्टिंग लैब के दूसरी और तीसरी मंजिल का 95 प्रतिशत कार्य पूरा हो गया है और शेष 5 प्रतिशत कार्य 31 अक्तूबर तक पूरा कर लिया जायेगा। बैठक में बताया गया कि बोर्ड द्वारा सेक्टर-23 में हरियाणा राज्य प्रदूषण नियंत्रण बोर्ड के कर्मचारियों के लिये बनाये जा रहे आवासीय परिसर का 95 प्रतिशत कार्य पूरा हो गया है और यह भी 31 अक्तूबर तक बन कर तैयार हो जायेगा।
बैठक में बताया गया कि सिंचाई एवं जल संसाधन विभाग द्वारा गांव टिब्बी में टांगरी नदी पर काॅज़वे बनाने के लिए डिजाइन और ड्राइंग उच्च अधिकारियों की स्वीकृति के लिए भेज दी गई है। साथ ही टैंडर आमंत्रित किए गए हैं जो कि 21 अक्तूबर को खोले जाने हैं। इसके पश्चात टिब्बी में टांगरी नदी पर काॅज़वे बनाने का कार्य 1 दिसंबर से आरंभ कर दिया जायेगा।
बैठक में बताया गया कि हरियाणा शहरी विकास प्राधिकरण द्वारा सेक्टर 15 में सामुदायिक केन्द्र के निर्माण का 93 प्रतिशत कार्य पूर्ण हो गया है। शेष बचे कार्य के लिए 2.50 करोड़ रूपए का प्रस्ताव नगर निगम द्वारा शहरी स्थानीय निकाय विभाग को स्वीकृति के लिए भेजा गया है। स्वीकृति मिलते ही शेष कार्य भी पूरा कर लिया जायेगा।
बैठक में बताया गया कि नगर निगम द्वारा अम्रुत कार्यक्रम के तहत 6 सीवरेज ट्रीटमेंट प्लांट स्थापित कर दिये गए हैं और यहां बिजली के कनैक्शन भी उपलब्ध करवा दिये गए हैं। इसके अलावा दो सीवरेज ट्रीटमेंट प्लांट शुरू करने के लिए प्रदूषण नियंत्रण बोर्ड की स्वीकृति हेतु भेज दिये गए हैं, जिसकी रिपोर्ट दो दिन के अंदर प्राप्त हो जायेगी। बैठक में बताया गया कि  6 एसटीपी में से 5 का ट्रायल रन पूरा कर लिया गया है जबकि एक का ट्रायल रन भी शीघ्र पूर्ण कर लिया जायेगा। अम्रुत कार्यक्रम के तहत 14 गांवों के लिए कुल 9 एसटीपी लगाए जाने हैं।
बैठक में बताया गया कि खेलो इंडिया राष्ट्रीय खेलों के मद्देनजर हरियाणा शहरी विकास प्राधिकरण द्वारा ताउ देवी लाल खेल स्टेडियम सेक्टर 3 में हाॅकी मैदान, वार्म अप ट्रैक और सिंथैटिक एथलैटिक ट्रैक का 60 प्रतिशत कार्य पूरा हो गया है और शेष बचा कार्य 31 अक्तूबर तक पूर्ण कर लिया जायेगा। इसी प्रकार इंडोर बास्केट बाॅल व वाॅलीबाल स्टेडियम का निर्माण कार्य 31 अक्तूबर तक पूरा हो जायेगा जबकि हाॅकी स्टेडियम का निर्माण व बेडमिंटन हाॅल, स्पोर्टस होस्टल व अन्य नवीनीकरण के कार्य 30 नवंबर तक पूर्ण कर लिया जायेगा।  
बैठक में हरियाणा शहरी विकास प्राधिकरण के संपदा अधिकारी राकेश संधू, सिविल सर्जन डाॅ0 मुक्ता कुमार और अन्य विभागों के संबंधित अधिकारी भी उपस्थित थे।

The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has extended the last date of submission of online Fresh admission of all Masters, Bachelor & Diplomas programmes up to 11th October, 2021 for the July-2021 session. This extension of last date shall not apply to Certificate and Semester-based programmes, i.e., MP, MPB, PGDMM, PGDFM, PGDHRM, PGDOM, PGDFMP, DBPOFA, PGDIS, MCA, BCA, and all Certificate and Awareness programmes of 6 months duration or less. Details of the IGNOU academic programmes for the July, 2021 session can be accessed from the link https://ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in/. The prospective learners can apply for Masters/Bachelor/Diploma programmes of the University on the official website, informed The Senior Regional Director of IGNOU Regional centre Chandigarh Dr. A.K.Dimri. Last date of submission of ‘online’ admission form for the July session was earlier fixed for September, 30.

Prof. Tomar takes charge as Dean Research

Prof S K Tomar from the Department of Mathematics, Panjab University, Chandigarh has been appointed as Dean Research by Prof. Raj Kumar, Vice Chanceller, Panjab University. Prof. Tomar is a renowned researcher and well known mathematician. He has 116 publications in the journals of international repute and has delivered more than 125 lectures in the country and abroad on the different topics of his research. He is a nominated member on the governing body of GJU, Hisar and Central University of Himachal. Recently he has also been nominated as a member of Senate of Panjab University by the Chancellor of University.

            In order to sensitize science education among the children and to all other corners of the society he initiated Chandigarh Vigyan Parishad in the year 2016. Chandigarh Vigyan Parishad is a part of Vigyan Bharti at national level. He is also an elected fellow of NASI (National Academy of Science, India) and is a recipient of PL Bhatnagar award lecture of Indian mathematical society. Mayor honours winners of various competitions of placemaking event at Indra Colony Manimajra

Chandigarh, September 30:- The three day placemaking implementathon event to commemorate Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav at New Park, Indra Colony, Sector 13, Manimajra, Chandigarh today concluded with the honouring ceremony of the winners of various categories in different competitions held during the three day programme.

Sh. Ravi Kant Sharma, Mayor, Chandigarh today gave away prizes and certificates to the winners at the main stage in the presence of Sh. Sanjay Tandon, Smt. Farmila, Deputy Mayor and Sh. Vinod Aggarwal, Guest of Honours.

While addressing the gathering the Mayor said that the park has been revamped within 75 hours with newly painted gazibos, grills and pathways. The park has been dedicated to the citizens with newly installed open gym, gymnastic/exercising equipments and various types of swings for children. He said that with these interventions, we foresee inspiration for transformation of other such underdeveloped spaces in Chandigarh and make them sustainable.

He said that during the three day programme the MCC has organized various citizen engagement programmes including Yoga, painting, Kabaddi matches, Magic show, Puppet show, Antakshri, Tug of war and various games besides cultural programmes for the local residents. He said that the people of Indra colony enjoyed a lot during these three days. He said that the transformation of spaces in the new park including herbal garden corner, wherein various types of herbal plants have been being planted which can be used by the local residents.

He further said that it will inspire people to reimaging and reinvent public spaces as the heart of every community, strengthening the connection between people and the places they share.  The park has been divided into various zones, like the Art Zone, Fitness Zone, Elder Zone and Kids Zone, he added.
