पंचकूला, 11 जुलाई- उपायुक्त विनय प्रताप सिंह ने कहा कि जिला प्रशासन व स्वास्थय विभाग के प्रयासों से व जनता के सहयोग से पंचकूला में कोविड-19 कोरोना के केसो में भारी कमी आई है आज कोरोना के केवल दो ही पोजिटिव केस आया है और कोरोना मरीजों का रिकवरी रेट भी बढ़कर 98.70 प्रतिशत हुआ है।
उपायुक्त ने जिलावासियों से अपील कि कोरोना कम हुआ है खतम नहीं हुआ है। सभी हरियाणा सरकार द्वारा कोविड.19 को लेकर दिये गये दिशानिर्देशों मास्क और दो गज की दूरी का गभीरता से पालन करें। उन्होंने बताया कि लोग भीड़भाड़ में जाने से बचें और कोविड.19 के नियमों का पालन जैसे दो गज की दूरी और अच्छी तरह से मास्क पहनकर घर से बाहर निकलें ऐसा करने से वे स्वंय और अपने परिवार को संक्रमण से बचा सकते हैं।

सिरसा, 11 जुलाई।उप सिविल सर्जन डा. बुधराम ने बताया कि रविवार को एक हजार 459 लाभार्थियों ने कोरोना की डोज लगवाई तथा अब तक जिला में तीन लाख 91 हजार 311 लाभार्थियों को वैक्सीन की डोज दी जा चुकी हैैं। उन्होंने बताया कि 18 से 44 आयुवर्ग के एक लाख 17 हजार 432 लाभार्थियों को पहली तथा 3779 लाभार्थियों को दूसरी, 45 से 60 वर्ष आयुवर्ग के 89 हजार 808 लाभार्थियों ने कोरोना की पहली तथा 23 हजार 191 लाभार्थियों ने कोरोना वैक्सीन की दूसरी डोज लगवा ली है। इसके अलावा 60 वर्ष से अधिक आयु के एक लाख 752 लाभार्थियों ने पहली तथा 38 हजार 793 लाभार्थियों ने कोरोना वैक्सीन की दूसरी डोज लगवा ली है।उन्होंने कहा कि कोरोना संक्रमण से बचाव के लिए वैक्सीनेशन बेहद जरूरी है, इसलिए 18 वर्ष से अधिक आयुवर्ग का प्रत्येक व्यक्ति अपना वैक्सीनेशन अवश्य करवाएं। कोरोना संक्रमण से बचाव के लिए प्रत्येक व्यक्ति को चाहिए कि वे अपनी नैतिक जिम्मेवारी समझ कर बचाव उपायों व एसओपी गाइडलाइन की अनुपालना करें तभी कोरोना संक्रमण से बचाव संभव है। कोरोना संक्रमण पर काबू पाने के लिए नागरिकों का सहयोग जरूरी है, इसलिए आमजन जरा भी ढील न बरतें और टेस्टिंग व वैक्सीनेशन अवश्य करवाएं।
जिला रेडक्रॉस सोसायटी सिरसा की शाखा अस्पताल कल्याण अनुभाग व सोनी पॉथ लैब द्वारा संयुक्त रूप से रविवार को स्थानीय लघु सचिवालय स्थित ट्रेफिक पार्क में नि:शुल्क स्वास्थ्य जांच कैंप का आयोजन किया गया। कैंप में कुल 50 रोगियों की विभिन्न प्रकार की स्वास्थ्य जांच की गई।
जिला रेडक्रॉस सोसायटी के सचिव लाल बहादुर बैनीवाल ने बताया कि इस शिविर में कुल 50 रोगियों के रक्त की जांच की गई जिनमें शुगर, लीवर व किडनी से संबंधित रोगियों की जांच नि:शुल्क की गई। इसके अलावा अन्य रोगों से संबंधित संपूर्ण स्वास्थ्य जांच संबंधी टेस्ट 80 प्रतिशत रियायती दरों पर किए गए। यह शिविर कोविड-19 के नियमों का पालन करते हुए आयोजित किया गया। इस शिविर में डा. सोनी पैथ लैब सिरसा के एम.डी. (पैथोलॉजी) डा. जगदीश राय तथा सीनियर लैब टेक्नीशियन डा. सौरभ गुप्ता द्वारा अपनी सेवाएं प्रदान की गई।

उप सिविल सर्जन डा. बुधराम ने बताया कि कोरोना संक्रमण मामलों में रविवार का दिन जिला सिरसा के लिए राहत भरा रहा। रविवार को जहां कोरोना का एक नया मामला सामने आया वहीं, एक कोरोना संक्रमित को ठीक होने के उपरांत डिस्चार्ज किया गया। उन्होंने बताया कि जिला प्रशासन एवं स्वास्थ्य विभाग द्वारा कोरोना संक्रमण पर अंकुश के लिए गंभीरता से कार्य किए जा रहे हैं, इसके साथ-साथ पूरे जिला में वैक्सीनेशन का कार्य भी तेजी से किया जा रहा है। विभिन्न सामाजिक व अन्य संस्थाओं के माध्यम से विशेष टीकाकरण शिविर लगा कर अधिक से अधिक लोगों को वैक्सीनेशन का लाभ दिया जा रहा है ताकि जल्द से जल्द जिला में शत प्रतिशत लोगों का वैक्सीनेशन किया जा सके। अब जिला का रिकवरी रेट 98.15 प्रतिशत हो चुका है। स्वास्थ्य विभाग द्वारा अबतक चार लाख 15 हजार 387 लोगों की सैंपलिंग भी की जा चुकी है। जिला में अबतक कुल 29 हजार 222 कोरोना संक्रमण के मामले आ चुके हैं, जिनमें से 28 हजार 684 ठीक चुके हैं। जिला में इस समय 31 व्यक्ति कोरोना संक्रमित हैं। रविवार को रानियां में कोरोना का एक नया मामला सामने आया है।

स्वास्थ्य विभाग द्वारा जिला में टीबी के संभावित रोगियों का खोज को लेकर विशेष अभियान शुरु किया जाएगा। अभियान के मद्देनजर डा. रोहताश ने अपने कार्यालय कक्ष में स्वास्थ्य विभाग के कर्मचारियों की बैठक ली।
डा. रोहताश ने बताया कि टीबी के संभावित रोगियों का खोजने के लिए जिला में 12 जुलाई से 27 जुलाई 2021 तक अभियान चलाया जाएगा। यह काम सक्रिय टीबी रोगी खोज अभियान (एक्टिव केस फाइंडिंग) के तहत होगा। अभियान के तहत स्वास्थ्य विभाग की टीमों के सदस्य घर-घर जा कर टीबी रोग के बारे में आमजन को जागरूक करेंगे। उन्होंने बताया कि टीम सदस्यों द्वारा लोगों में टीबी के लक्षणों की पहचान की जाएगी और उनकी जांच व इलाज करवाया जाएगा। उन्होंने टीम के सदस्यों को निर्देश दिए कि यह बहुत महत्वपूर्ण अभियान है, इसलिए टीम के सभी सदस्य पूरी निष्ठा व लग्न से इस कार्य को पूरा करें।

Chandigarh, March 7:- Sh. Dharam Pal, IAS, Adviser to the Administrator, UT, Chandigarh today visited various big projects of Municipal Corporation Chandigarh including Construction & Demolition (C&D) waste plant at Industrial Area Phase-I, Material Recovery Facility Station, 3 BRD, Legacy Mining and Garbage Processing Plant, Dadumajra and Aerobic Composting system at Rose Garden, Sector 16, Chandigarh.
He was accompanied by Sh. K.K. Yadav, IAS, Commissioner, Municipal Corporation and other senior officers of MCC. The Commissioner apprised the Adviser that the work at C&D waste plant consists processing of construction and demolition waste & manufacturing of PCC products to be used for pavements, road work, fencing work etc. Processing plant accepts all cement, construction demolition waste except steel up to the size 1-1.5 feet which is being processed by crushing and washing in four type of aggregates i.e. sand, 10mm Bajri, 20mm Bajri, and 40mm Bajri.
He said that such aggregates are being utilized further for making cement concrete products including PCC kerb, PCC channel, PCC tiles, Paver block, cement concrete works, bollards etc.; Public health works i.e. PCC road gully covers, PCC manhole covers etc.; Horticulture works i.e. PCC benches, CC tree and various road sub base works.
The Adviser asked the Commissioner to enhance the capacity of the plant to accept C&D waste from outskirts also.
After that the Adviser visited Material Recovery Facility Centre at 3 BRD where the Commissioner apprised him about the functioning of the centre. He said that the project is one of the component of the comprehensive Solid Waste Management System as per SWM Rules, 2016, which aims at reducing the time and cost involved in collection and transfer of waste two besides generating income by recovering the reusable and recyclable waste.
The Commissioner said that door to door waste collection vehicles brings segregated waste i.e. dry & wet waste in different compartments at the Material Recovery Facility which is having dedicated space for sorting of recoverable dry waste into different categories like paper, card, recyclable plastics, glass bottles, metal etc, Dry waste left after recovery of recyclable materials are being compacted in huge compactors to compost plant located in Sector 25, Daddumajra, Chandigarh. Weigh bridges have been provided for measurement of dry and wet waste within the Material Recovery Facility.
He said that MRF facility is equipped with hopper- tippers and compactor capsules for transfer of waste from smaller (3.2 cum) vehicles to 20 cum capsules where the waste is being compacted to one fifth of the original volume. The volume reduction will save cost of transportation of waste and space required for disposal of waste.
The Adviser further visited Legacy mining project at dumping site and Garbage processing plant at Dadumajra. He reviewed the Solid waste management system in Chandigarh where he was briefed by the Commissioner about waste collection, transportation and disposal of MSW. He was briefed about detailed methodology and steps taken by the MCC for collection and disposal of municipal solid waste.
After visiting the RDF plant the Adviser visited the compost plant and took stock of method of making compost from wet garbage. He said that the compost prepared in the compost plant from wet garbage is of good quality and can be utilized in gardens and agriculture purpose as well.
He also visited Rose Garden, Sector 16 to see the Aerobic Compost pits over there, where he was briefed about the phases of compost preparation from drive leaves and horticulture waste. The Adviser asked the Chief Engineer, Chandigarh Administration for provision of such Aerobic compost pits to dispose off the horticulture waste generated by the horticulture wing of Chandigarh Administration.
The Department of Microbiology, Panjab University, Chandigarh organized a webinar on the theme “Promotion of Scientific Temper among People of India”, today, to spread awareness amongst general public about the current pandemic situation.
Prof. Randeep Guleria, Director, AIIMS, New Delhi spoke on the topic “ What the pandemic has taught us and where do we go from here?” Dr. Guleria started his talk by explaining the factors which were responsible for an increase in the number of pandemics in the 21st century. He discussed about the one health concept and emphasized that there is a need to look at holistic health i.e. the health of animals, plants and human together rather than humans alone in order to avoid any future pandemics.
Further in his talk, Dr. Guleria discussed about the reasons behind the emergence of devastating second wave and that there is an urgent requirement to invest in public health services. He emphasized that COVID-19 appropriate behavior i.e. wearing of masks, regular washing of hands up gradation of vaccination drive can to a large extent help in avoiding the speculated third wave of the infection.
He also discussed about the different vaccines available in the country, their efficacy, the development of new vaccines and the major problems associated with vaccines such as the vaccine hesitancy and their equitable distribution. Dr. Guleria concluded his talk by mentioning that the COVID-19 pandemic is not over nor it is going to end very soon. The people need to adhere to COVID appropriate behavior and need to get vaccinated in order to avoid the third wave.
Dr. Deepak K. Rahi, Chairman, gave a brief overview of the program and briefly discussed how during this past year, the COVID-19 pandemic had turned our lives upside down and has changed not just the way we live and work but also how we think and behave.
This was followed by a brief note by Prof. Prince Sharma, Former Dean Science and the organizing secretary of the webinar who discussed about the current pandemic situation and also introduced the guest speaker to the audience.
The webinar was coordinated by Mr. Khem Raj Thakur, Assistant Professor, Department of Microbiology.
The talk was followed by an interactive session where in the queries put forward by the audience were answered by Dr. Guleria. The webinar ended with a vote of thanks by Prof. Prince Sharma.

उपायुक्त अनीश यादव ने शुक्रवार को अपने डबवाली दौरे के दौरान स्थानीय सामान्य अस्पताल का भी निरीक्षण किया और संभावित संक्रमण लहर को लेकर की जा रही तैयारियों बारे एसएमओ व संबंधित अधिकारियों से विस्तार से जानकारी। उन्होंने ऑक्सीजन के संबंध में की जा रही तैयारियों के बारे में विशेष रूप से जानकारी ली। इस दौरान उपायुक्त ने अस्पताल में बनें ऑक्सीजन प्लांट का भी निरीक्षण किया। निरीक्षण अवसर पर उनके साथ एसडीएम अश्वनी कुमार, एसएमओ एम.के भादू सहित संबंधी अधिकारी उपस्थित थे।
उन्होंने कहा कि संभावित संक्रमण लहर में किसी की मृत्यु न हो और इसी के मद्देनजर स्वास्थ्य संबंधी व्यवस्थाओं को सुदृढ बनाया जाए। अधिकारी यह सुनिश्चित करें कि कोविड वार्ड के प्रत्येक बैड पर ऑक्सीजन की सुचारू रूप आपूर्ति हो। उपायुक्त ने कोविड वार्डों का निरीक्षण करते हुए बैड व ऑक्सीजन सप्लाई सिस्टम का भी पूरा मुआयना किया। उन्होंने अधिकारियों से अस्पताल में ऑक्सीजन व बैड की उपलब्धता बारे भी जानकारी ली। एसएमओ ने उपायुक्त को जानकारी देेते हुए बताया कि अस्पताल में 50 बैड की क्षमता है। इनमें से 30 बैड पर ऑक्सीजन पाइल लाइन लग चुकी है और शेष पर तेजी कार्य किया जा रहा है।
उपायुक्त ने आपातकालीन वार्ड का भी निरीक्षण किया और मरीजों को दी जा रही स्वास्थ्य सुविधाओं की जानकाी ली। उन्होंने एसएमओ को निर्देश दिए कि अस्पताल में सफाई व्यवस्था को पूरी तरह से दुरूस्त रखा जाए, ताकि अस्पताल में आने वाले लोगों को किसी प्रकार की दिक्कत न आए। कोविड से बचाव के लिए अस्पताल में कोविड नियमों की पूरी पालना करवाई जाए और आमजन को भी जागरूक किया जाए।
कोरोना से बचाव के लिए वैक्सीनेशन के साथ-साथ जागरूकता भी जरूरी : उपायुक्त अनीश यादव ने कहा कि कोरोना संक्रमण से बचाव के लिए वैक्सीनेशन बहुत ही जरूरी है। वैक्सीन संक्रमण की गंभीर स्थिति से बचाता है, इसलिए सभी पात्र नागरिक अपना वैक्सीनेशन जरूर करवाएं। उन्होंने कहा कि वैक्सीन पूरी तरह से सुरक्षित है, नागरिक बेझिझक होकर टीकाकरण करवाएं और दूसरों को भी प्रेरित करें। जिन लोगों ने पहली डोज लगवा ली है, वो दूसरी डोज भी अवश्य लगवाएं। वैक्सीन के साथ-साथ बचाव नियमों की भी पालना करें। मास्क, बार-बार हाथ धोने को अपनी दिनचर्या का हिस्सा बनाएं।

उपायुक्त अनीश यादव ने कहा कि कास्ट वैरिफिकेशन कार्य में तेजी लाई जाए और इसी माह में कार्य को पूरा किया जाए। मुख्यमंत्री स्वयं इसकी लगातार मोनिट्रींग कर रहे हैं। इसलिए इस कार्य को गंभीरता से लें और किसी प्रकार की ढिलाई न बरती जाए। इस कार्य में लगे सभी पटवारी व्यक्तिगत रूचि लेकर कास्ट वैरिफिकेशन डाटा को डिजिटाइजड करवाएं।
उपायुक्त ने शुक्रवार को डबवाली उपमंडल का दौरा किया। इस दौरान उन्होंने एसडीएम कार्यालय, ई-दिशा, ट्रेजरी, सामान्य अस्पताल आदि का निरीक्षण करते हुए अधिकारियों को आवश्यक दिशा-निर्देश दिए। निरीक्षण से पहले उपायुक्त ने एसडीएम कार्यालय में तहसीलदार, बीडीपीओ व पटवारियों के साथ बैठक भी की। इस अवसर पर एसडीएम अश्वनी कुमार, तहसीलदार भुवनेश कुमार, नायब तहसीलदार ओमबीर, बीडीपीओ भूपेश सहित पटवारी उपस्थित थे। उपायुक्त ने जमीन म्यूटेशन, ई-गिरदावरी, राजस्व संबंधी कोर्ट केस आदि के साथ-साथ स्वामित्व योजना, जल शक्ति अभियान के कार्य प्रगति की भी समीक्षा की और अधिकारियों को योजनाओं को लेकर दिए लक्ष्यों को निर्धारित अवधि में पूरा करने के दिशा-निर्देश दिए।
उपायुक्त ने बैठक में सभी पटवारियों को निर्देश दिए कि कास्ट वैरिफिकेशन कार्य को जल्द से जल्द पूरा किया जाए। यह बहुत ही महत्वपूर्ण कार्य है और मुख्यमंत्री स्वयं इसकी मोनिट्रिंग कर रहे है, इसलिए सभी पटवारी इस कार्य को प्राथमिकता से लेते हुए कास्ट वैरिफिकेशन डाटा को डिजिटाइजड करवाएं। यदि किसी प्रकार की कोई दिक्कत आती है, तो उस बारे अवगत करवाएं। उन्होंने एसडीएम को निर्देश दिए कि वे स्वयं इस कार्य की समय-समय पर समीक्षा करते रहे, ताकि निर्धारित समय में कार्य पूरा हो सके। उपायुक्त ने एसडीएम को सभी पटवारियों को कास्ट वैरिफिकेशन कार्य का शैडयूल बनाकर देने के भी निर्देश दिए। उन्होंने कहा कि म्यूटेशन कार्य में तेजी लाए जाए और कोई भी पैडेंसी न रहे। इसी प्रकार गिरदावरी दुरूस्ती संबंधी मामलों में पटवारी मौके पर जाकर ही मामलों का निपटान करें। उन्होंने कहा कि पटवारी पटवार भवन में साफ-सफाई का पूरा ध्यान रखें और रिकॉर्ड को पूरी तरह से अपडेट रखें।
उपायुक्त ने कहा कि स्वामित्व योजना सरकार की महत्वाकांक्षी योजना है, जिसमें लोगों को मालिकाना हक दिया जाता है। योजना के तहत नक्शा प्राप्त होने के साथ ही रजिस्ट्रेशन कार्य किया जाए, ताकि जल्द से जल्द योजना के लक्ष्यों को पूरा किया जा सके। इस कार्य में किसी प्रकार की दिक्कत या परेशानी आती है, तो उस बारे उच्च अधिकारियों को अवगत करवाकर तुरंत समाधान करवाएं, ताकि उक्त कार्य भी समयबद्ध अवधि में पूरा हो सके। उन्होंने जल शक्ति अभियान के तहत दिए गए लक्ष्यों को भी जल्द से जल्द पूरा करने के निर्देश दिए। उन्होंने कहा कि गांवों में तालाबों की साफ-सफाई करवाई जाए। इसके साथ ही गांव में पौधारोपण कार्य को मानसून से पहले पूरा करवा लिया जाए। उन्होंने कहा कि सरकार की योजनाओं के संबंध में जो भी लक्ष्य उन्हें दिया जाता है, उसे प्राथमिकता के साथ पूरा करें, ताकि योजनाओं का लाभ आमजन को मिल सके और धरातल स्तर पर परिणाम दिखे।
एसडीएम, तहसील व खजाना अधिकारी कार्यालय का भी किया निरीक्षण : उपायुक्त ने बैठक उपरांत कार्यालयों का निरीक्षण भी किया। उन्होंने सबसे पहले सरल केंद्र का निरीक्षण किया और अधिकारियों को सरल केंद्र के माध्यम से सरकार की विभिन्न सेवाओं को आमजन को समबद्ध अवधि में उपलब्ध करवाने के दिशा-निर्देश दिए। तत्पश्चात उन्होंने खाजाना व तहसील कार्यालय का निरीक्षण करते हुए संबंधी अधिकारी से कार्यालय की गतिविधियों बारे जानकारी ली।

Department of Life Long Learning & Extension (DLLL&E) in collaboration with the Horticulture Wing of Panjab University, celebrated ‘Van Mahotsav’ by organizing a Tree Plantation Drive in front of Emerging Area Building.
Teachers, Staff and Students of DLLL&E and University Institute of Fashion Technology (UIFT) participated in the drive, observing all COVID-19 protocols. Also, Prof. Monica Munjial and Dr. Gaurav Gaur, Chairperson of Social Work Department were present during the tree plantation. To celebrate this day, a number of Ficus plants were planted.
Dr. Parmjit Singh Kang, Chairperson, emphasised that trees play very a vital role in our lives. So, we must, not only plant new trees and plants rather it is equally important and necessary to take post plantation care.
