Chandigarh, July 13:- Mrs. Kirron Kher, Member Parliament, Chandigarh today laid foundation stone of foot bridge over N-choe, connecting passage to Faidan village from the city.

City Mayor Sh. Anup Gupta, Ms. Anindita Mitra, IAS, Commissioner, Sh. Kanwarjeet Singh, Senior Deputy Mayor, other councillors and officers alongwith local residents were present during the occasion.

While addressing the local residents, the MP said that this foot bridge will facilitate thousands of people of village faidan. She said that the earlier provided bridge was damaged due to recent rains and now with the provision of new bridge it will be a big relief to the local residents.

The Mayor said that this foot bridge having length of 27 meter will be constructed at a cost of 143.82 lacs in 9 month time period.

Chandigarh, July 13:- Member Parliament, Chandigarh Smt. Kirron Kher laid the foundation stone of Development of Green belt at sector 50 A & B, here today in the presence of Sh. Anup Gupta, city Mayor, Ms. Anindita Mitra, IAS, Commissioner, Sh. Kanwarjeet Singh, Senior Deputy Mayor, Sh. Rajinder Sharma, area councilor, other councillors and officers of MCC and local residents of the area.

While addressing the gathering, the MP appreciated the work done by the Municipal Corporation and said this beautiful green belt would be beneficial for all people, including young, old and children. She also congratulated the councillors and MC team of engineers for developing various projects for the benefits of city residents.

Mayor Sh. Anup Gupta said the Municipal Corporation was providing the facility of green belts in each sector city beautiful regularly. He informed about the main features of the green belt having total area 4.38 acre. 

The Mayor also listed various major projects started by the Municipal Corporation, including the road repair works and sanitation programmes under the Swachh Bharat Mission. He said that the green belt will be completed at a cost of Rs. 69.49 lacs in six months time period.

पंचकुला, 13 जुलाई – सेक्टर 1 से सेक्टर 20 के निवासियों की समस्याओं के समाधान के लिए हरियाणा विधानसभा अध्यक्ष श्री ज्ञानचंद गुप्ता की अध्यक्षता में 21 जुलाई को सुबह 11 बजे जनता दरबार का आयोजन किया जाएगा। जनता दरबार पंचकुला के सेक्टर 1 स्थित पीडब्ल्यूडी रेस्ट हाउस में आयोजित किया जाएगा।


    एक सरकारी प्रवक्ता ने जानकारी साझा करते हुए बताया कि जनता दरबार का उद्देश्य निवासियों को संबंधित अधिकारियों के साथ सीधे बातचीत करने का अवसर प्रदान करना है। कार्यक्रम के दौरान जिला प्रशासन के विभिन्न अधिकारी लोगों की शिकायतों को सुनने और उनकी वास्तविक समस्याओं का मौके पर ही समाधान करने के लिए मौजूद रहेंगे।

पंचकुला, 13 जुलाई – उपायुक्त डॉ. प्रियंका सोनी ने कहा कि बडयाल और समलोथा देवी मंदिर के बीच सड़क संपर्क बहाल कर दिया गया है। इसके अतिरिक्त, चंडीमंदिर के रास्ते जल्लाह से मांधना रोड की कनेक्टिविटी भी जल्द ही बहाल होने वाली है, जिससे स्थानीय निवासियों और यात्रियों को राहत मिलगी।
                उन्होंने कहा कि पंचकुला जिले में हाल ही में हुई भारी बारिश के कारण कई जगह भूस्खलन हुआ, जिससे कई इलाकों में, खासकर मोरनी ब्लॉक में सड़कें अवरुद्ध हो गईं। हालाँकि, जिला प्रशासन ने स्थिति से निपटने के लिए तुरंत टीमें जुटाते हुए और मोरनी को पंचकुला और हिमाचल प्रदेश से जोड़ने वाली विभिन्न सड़कों पर कनेक्टिविटी को पहले ही बहाल कर दिया गया है।
              भारी बारिश के बाद से बचाव और राहत अभियान जारी है, जिला प्रशासन प्रभावित निवासियों की सुरक्षा और भलाई सुनिश्चित करने के लिए अथक प्रयास कर रहा है। स्थिति को सामान्य बनाने और प्रभावित क्षेत्रों में सामान्य स्थिति बहाल करने के प्रयास लगातार जारी हैं।
              डॉ. प्रियंका सोनी ने जिले वासियों को आश्वासन दिया कि जिला प्रशासन भूस्खलन और भारी बारिश के कारण होने वाली समस्याओं के समाधान के लिए पूरी तरह से प्रतिबद्ध है। उन्होंने विश्वास जताया कि किए जा रहे सकारात्मक प्रयासों से जल्द ही सब कुछ सामान्य हो जाएगा।
