As part of the implementation of National Education Policy (NEP)-2020, under Pandit Madan Mohan Malaviya National Mission on Teachers & Teaching, Ministry of Education, the Govt. of India, the Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has started the nationwide registration for conducting 36 hours week-long online (6-Days short term) Professional Development Programme (PDP) w.e.f. 25th August, 2022 onwards through various batches  (as specified in Samarth Registration Portal) on implementation of NEP-2020 for University and College Teachers.

Dr. Savita Panwar, Regional Director (In-Charge) of IGNOU Regional Centre Chandigarh informed that the NEP-PDP is free and teachers are not expected to pay any fee. The registration for this programme is open now. The interested University and College teachers of Higher Educational Institutions are requested to join this programme under IGNOU Regional Centre Chandigarh by registering at the Samarth Portal on https://ignou-nep-pdp-samarth.ac.in/. This programme will add to the API scores for Career development of the teachers.

Chandigarh, August 22:- The Municipal Corporation Chandigarh has decided to provide sanitation booths for its safaikarmacharis village Dhanas and Sarangpur. Keeping in view the health and hygiene of its safaikarmacharis, the booths will be provided as a pilot project, which will have facilities of drinking water, hand wash, seating and storage for their equipments etc.

This has been approved during a meeting of the Finance & Contract Committee, Municipal Corporation Chandigarh held here today under the chairpersonship of Smt. Sarbjit Kaur Dhillon, Mayor and attended by other members of committee namely Sh. Mahesh Inder Singh Sidhu, Sh. Saurabh Joshi, Sh. Jasbir Singh, Smt. Taruna Mehta, Smt. Gurbax Rawat (through online) and other senior officers of MCC.

The members of committee discussed various other important agenda items in detail and accorded approval for the following:

1.               Rough cost estimate for providing and fixing open air gymnastic equipments in park near House No. 278, Sector 56, Chandigarh at an estimated cost of Rs. 3.16 lacs.

2.               Rough cost estimate for providing and installing Refrigerator in Office in Community Centre Sector 46-C, Chandigarh at an estimated cost of Rs. 0.52 lacs.

3.               Providing and Installing Furniture in office room at Dispensary building Village Daria, Chandigarh at an estimated cost of Rs. 1.73 lacs.

4.               Up-gradation of Market Sector 40-C, Chandigarh at an estimated cost of  Rs. 41.97 lacs.

5.               Renewal of License (Agreement) of Chandigarh Washermen Workshop Cooperative (Regd.) Industrial Society Ltd., Sector 15D, Chandigarh with an increase of 10% in the license fee. The new rate shall be come out to be Rs. 17,700/- + 18% GST per month applicable from 01.10.2022 to 30.09.2023.

6.               Up-gradation of flooring at front side of market/showrooms, Sector 16-C&D, Chandigarh at an estimated cost of Rs. 18.37 lacs.

7.               Construction of sanitation booth for Safai Karamcharies in SSK Dhanas & Sarangpur, Chandigarh at an estimated cost of Rs. 39.90 lacs.

8.               Providing and planting of plants, tree guards of Sector 56, Chandigarh at an estimated cost of Rs. 10.20 lac.

9.               Construction of cement concrete track and toe wall in various parks of Sector 45 & 46, Chandigarh and special repair and raising the level of concrete track in park near #1001-1005, Sector 45, Chandigarh at an estimated cost of Rs. 28.36 lacs.

10.          Development of Children park near House No. 601 to 628, Sector 40-A, Chandigarh at an estimated cost of Rs. 25.55 lacs..

11.          Providing and fixing of pipe benches at different location of Sector 56, Chandigarh at an estimated cost of Rs. 4.72 lacs.

12.          Providing and Fixing open air gymnastic equipments and open air gym fitness equipment in various parks of Sector 38 (W), 39 & 40 Chandigarh at an estimated cost of Rs. 20.06 lacs.

13.          Rough cost estimates for the work of “Providing and Fixing of M.S. Pipe Line, special & all other contingent works for making scouring arrangement for phase –III & IV at Water Works, Kajauli, UT Chandigarh at an estimated cost of Rs. 36.35 lacs.

14.          Rough cost estimate for providing and laying 200 mm (8”) i/d sewer line in Patel Market, Sector 15, Chandigarh at an estimated cost of Rs. 12.26 lacs.

15.          Requirement of Security Guard from M/s Punjab Ex-Servicemen Corporation (S).

16.          Purchase of Souvenirs Kits for Delegates from various States/UT usually visit in  Municipal Corporation, Chandigarh at an estimated cost of Rs. 3.60 lacs.

The Department of Microbiology, Panjab University, Chandigarh in collaboration with School of Life Sciences, Jaipur National University, Jaipur organized a one day national webinar on 22nd August, 2022 on the theme “Bioinformatics and Computational Biology: Applications in Basic Medical Science.” The program started with a welcome address by Mr. Khemraj, Assistant Professor, department of microbiology. This was followed by an introductory note by Dr. Deepak K. Rahi, Chairman, department of microbiology, who gave a brief introduction about the department and the theme of the webinar to the audience. The program was divided into two sessions. The first session was chaired by Prof. Prince Sharma, Former Dean Science, Panjab University, Chandigarh. The expert speaker for this session was Prof. Naidu Subbarao, School of Computational and Integrative sciences, Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), New Delhi who delivered a lecture on “ Structure based drug designing: Designing novel potential anti-malarial, anti-tuberculosis, anti-cancer and anti-viral agent.” Dr. Naidu in his lecture briefed the audience about the different docking techniques and their use in designing potential novel drugs. He also discussed about the prevalence of drug resistance in tuberculosis and various methods that can be employed to overcome the same. Dr. Naidu also discussed about the different in-silico studies being carried out by his institute on dengue, malaria, and chicken-guniya and COVID-19. The second session was chaired by Prof. S.K. Soni, Professor, department of microbiology. The highlight of this session as a talk by Dr. Sumit Govil, Assistant Director, School of life sciences, Jaipur National University, Jaipur on “ Data Science: An emerging solution.” Dr. Govil discussed about data science, analyses and its applications in the biomedical field, prediction of new chemistry and management. He also discussed about the hurdles being faced in the application of data science and how one can overcome them. He ended the session by discussing about the different data analyses softwares and their utility in different fields. Students both at graduate and postgraduate level and a number of research scholars attended the webinar. The program ended with a vote of thanks which was delivered by Mr. Khemraj, Assistant professor, Department of Microbiology.

MCC allows verification by Patwari & Tehsildar in absence of NOC for releasing Water connection inside Lal Dora of villages

Chandigarh, August 22:- Giving big relief to the residents of villages, the Municipal Corporation Chandigarh has allowed the verification report of Patwari and Tehsildar as an alternative to NOC under clause 5(VII) of water bye laws 2016 to release of water connection.
While sharing this development, Ms. Anindita Mitra, IAS, Commissioner, Municipal Corporation Chandigarh said that in this regard, official orders have also been issued to the concerned officers/officials. Earlier, the applications which did not accompanied with relevant NOC issued by the building branch of MCC, were not being considered and rejected, she said.
She said according to the clause No. 5(VII) of water bye laws 2016 the release of water connection will be made with in Red line of villages with the following documents including:
1) Verification by Patwari & Tehsildar or NOC issued by MC, Chandigarh
2) Proof of ownership
3) Building plan duly approved by competent authority, if newly constructed
4) Sanction of sewerage connection (in case of regular water connection)
5) The area councilor will certify the ownership of houses situated inside the Lal Dora, extended Abadi & baray.
The Commissioner said that keeping in view the clause 5(VII), verification report by Patwari & Tehsildar will be considered in future in the absence/non submission of NOC while releasing regular water connection, change in name in water bills to owners of houses situated within Lal Dora and strict compliance of the water bye laws will be ensured in the interest of the public.

The International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON), Chandigarh celebrated Sri Krishna Janamashtami festival in a marvelous and unprecedented way on Friday.
Shri Krishna Janamashtami , which is celebrated on the midnight of the eight day of waning moon (Ashtami tithi under Rohini Nakshatra), is the appearance anniversary of Lord Krishna to mark His Descent to this world.


To celebrate the festival with pomp and show, ISKCON Chandigarh held a cultural program on the eve of the festival on August 18, presented by the children of Bhakta Prahlad School and Gopal Fun School. About 120 children performed 12 small skits, dances and other events.


On Janamashtami day, the temple hall was decorated with variety of beautiful flowers. Sri Sri Radha Madhava was also adorned with a brilliant new dress (traditional attire).
Hundreds of devotees offered prayers at the temple. Owing to continuous live streaming facility on Youtube and facebook, many other devotees celebrated the merciful event while sitting at their homes.


ISCKON Spokesperson Akinchan Priyadas and Co-President Prem Prabhudass informed that the Janamashtami celebrations began with Mangala Aarti of Sri-Sri Radha Madhava at 4:30 am followed by Tulsi Aarti, Nagar Kirtan in Sector 36, Guru-puja of His Divine Grace AC Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada, the founder acharya of the International Society for Krishna Consciousness.

Chandigarh, August 19:- Understanding the importance of educating young minds about waste management, MCC had launched an awareness campaign, “Swachhata Ki Paathshala” in which various officers of the the Municipal Corporation address the students in the school and create awareness about the importance of segregation of waste, ban on plastic, home composting and responsibility of the citizen. Within just one month MCC has covered 40 Government and Private schools. With a target of more than 200 schools MCC targets at covering each and every school over the next three months. 

During these sessions Ms. Anindita Mitra, IAS, Commissioner and other officers of MCC, addressed students between class 6 to 12th and emphasised upon the import of segregation of waste considering the amount of waste being generatedand its negative impact on environment if not segregated. 

The students were made to understand the concepts using easy examples of chemistry, mathematics and social sciences. The students were designated as monitors of their homes and taught how to inspect the garbage going out of their homes. They were given projects of Home Composting and explained how one can consciously reduce the usage of banned plastic. Slowly and steadily, the concept of collective responsibility of citizens and the MCC started growing. 

The school authorities were requested to organise competitions for students practicing home composting. Schools with new ideas for composting at source by recycling the unused material at the institution itself, were appreciated.

MCC issues LoI to firm for legacy waste bio mining at Dadumajra landfill site

Operations will start in the 1st week of September

Chandigarh, August 18:- Moving towards giving a big relief to the residents of Daddumajra and the entire city , the Municipal Corporation Chandigarh has issued the Letter of Intent today to the agency, for bio mining of legacy waste dump at the landfill site.

While sharing this information, Ms. Anindita Mitra, IAS, Commissioner, Municipal Corporation Chandigarh said that the LoI has been issued to the agency for submission the Performance Bank Guarantee within this week and the work of bio mining will be started by first week of September, 2022.

She said that the agency has given assurance that they will process the waste within 1-11/2 years. This will not only solve the problem of foul smell, but incidents of fire shall also stop with the completion this project. This will definitely come as a big relief to the local residents as their demand will be fulfilled with in next 1.5 Years she added.

She further said there is one dumping site in Daddumajra Colony, spread over 45 Acre of Land having two dumps of waste of 5Lakh Metric ton and 8Lakh Metric ton covering the area of 16 Acre and 8 Acre Land respectively. These dumps of Garbage have caused huge inconvenience to the nearby residents i.e. of Daddumajra Colony. A foul smell from dump had worsen the life of residents.

 She said there were number of incident of fire noticed due to emanating of methane gas from the dumping ground affecting the life of residents. The Area Councillor as well as residents have always raised a demand for early resolution to the removal of the mountain of waste as it is a major health hazard for them. The Chandigarh Smart City Limited has almost completed the work of bio mining of 5 Lakh Metric Ton legacy waste and work shall be completed by 31 December, 2022. With this, nearly 16 Acres of land will be reclaimed , said the Commissioner.

She further briefed that the Municipal Corporation Chandigarh had also called the tenders for Bio Mining of 8 Lakh Metric ton waste lying on 8 Acre. The NGT & CPCC had already directed for early bio-mining of the waste to overcome these problems. A DPR amounting to Rs.72.50 Crore was therefore prepared and got approved under SBM 2.0 in March, 2022 and Tender was floated in June, 2022.

 The Commissioner said the tender was successful and the agency was awarded at 67.95 Crore.

सेक्टर-15 के श्री सनातन धर्म मन्दिर एवम् अध्ययन केंद्र में श्री कृष्ण जन्माष्टी महोत्सव को लेकर 16 से 19 अगस्त तक चलने वाली चार दिवसीय श्री कृष्ण कथा का आयोजन किया गया है। इस संंबंधी जानकारी देते हुए मंदिर प्रबंधक कमेटी के सचिव प्रो. एससी गुप्ता ने बताया कि मंदिर में आयोजित श्री कृष्ण कथा के प्रथम दिवस में सदभावना दूत भागवताचार्य डॉ रमनीक कृष्ण जी महाराज ने रागानुगा प्रेमा भक्ति का वर्णन करते हुए कहा कि जैसे पक्षियों के पंख हीन बच्चे अपनी मां की बाट जोहते हैं, जैसे भूखे बछड़े अपनी मां का दूध पीने के लिए आतुर रहते हैं और जैसे वियोगिनी पत्नी अपने प्रवासी प्रियतम से मिलने के लिए उत्कन्_ित रहती है वैसे ही भक्त का मन भगवान के दर्शन के लिए छटपटाता रहता है। इस प्रगाढ़ प्रेम की पराकाष्ठा को ही रागा नुगा प्रेमा भक्ति कहते हैं, इस प्रेमभक्ति में अन्न्यता का सर्वोपरि स्थान है। अनन्य प्रेम का साधारण स्वरूप है एक भगवान के अतिरिक्त अन्य किसी में किसी प्रकार की आसक्ति ना होना। प्रेम की मग्नता में भगवान के सिवा अन्य किसी का ज्ञान ही ना रहे, जहां जहां मन जाए वहीं केवल भगवान दृष्टिगोचर हों। ऐसे होते होते अभ्यास हो जाने पर अपने आप की विस्मृती होकर केवल भगवान की की स्मृति रह जाए यही विशुद्ध प्रेम है। प्रेम करने का हेतु भी केवल परमेश्वर या उनका प्रेम ही होना चाहिए। प्रेम के लिए ही प्रेम किया जाए अन्य कोई हेतु ना रहे। मान बढ़ाई और प्रतिष्ठा तथा इस लोक और परलोक के किसी भी पदार्थ की इच्छा की गंध भी साधक के मन में ना रहे। ऐसा विशुद्ध प्रेम होने पर जो आनंद होता है उसकी महिमा अकथनीय है। ऐसे प्रेम का वास्तविक महत्व कोई परमात्मा का अनन्य प्रेमी ही जानता है। कथा के प्रथम दिवस में समस्त मन्दिर कमेटी सदस्यों ने व्यासपीठ का पूजन किया।

 Mayor hoists the National Flag at MC Building

Chandigarh, August 15:- The Municipal Corporation Chandigarh has organized a simple function to commemorate the Independence Day in MCC building, Sector 17, here today. Smt. Sarbjit Kaur, Mayor, Chandigarh was the Chief Guest on the occasion.

While addressing the councilors and senior officers/HODs and representatives from NGOs on the occasion after hoisting the National Flag, Mayor said that this was a day of introspection for all of us to see if we have fulfilled the dreams of our great freedom fighters.

Earlier, Smt. Sarbjit Kaur, Mayor, Ms. Anindita Mitra, IAS, Commissioner, Sh. Dalip Sharma, Senior Deputy Mayor, Sh. Anup Gupta, Deputy Mayor awarded commendation certificates to the Municipal Corporation officials through their respective HODs i.e. Joint Commissioner-I, II, III & IV, Chief Engineer and MOH.

The Mayor highlighted the projects of the Municipal Corporation Chandigarh including:

·        Launched a awareness campaign on ‘Home and Composting’, ‘ Segregation of Waste at Source level’  and ‘Say No to Single use Plastic’ to encourage residents to take up the ‘ My waste, my responsibility ‘ concept involving recycling of biodegradable waste into manure.

·        To accelerate the efforts to achieve sanitation coverage and to put the focus on Swachh Survekshan 2022, launched a LED display Van to create awareness about ‘ Swachhata’.

·        With focus on sustaining the behaviour change and role of local change leaders and to ensure that the process becomes more robust, ‘Change Leaders’ honoured during Swachh Prerak Samaan Samaroh

·        To imbibe Swachhata as a way of life among school children, provided 20000 colouring books namely “ Swachhata ke Rang” to Education Department, UT, Chandigarh

·        With regard to take care of the sanitation workers and door to door waste collectors, free medical check-up camps organised for them so that they can get themselves medically checked and treated free of cost.

·        To sensitize the general public on key environmental issues and messages of Swachh Bharat Mission, converted the abandoned city underpasses into beautiful wall paintings with creating Special visual montages.

·        To abolish plastic from routine life of citizens and adopt usage of jute and cloth bags in place of plastic, launched ‘Plastic Free City’ campaign under Mission Swachh Chandigarh in association with Chandigarh Beopar Mandal, Trader’s Association and Market Welfare Associations of Chandigarh.

·        Recarpetted 115 Kms road length in Chandigarh.

·        Established Horticulture Waste Processing plant of capacity 30-40 TPD at 3 BRD area, Chandigarh to process the raw horticulture waste into briquettes.

·        3 Open Air Gyms installed in parks.

·        64 aerobic compost pits have been constructed in various garden and green belts and 40 pits will be completed very soon.

·        60000 street light points have been replaced with energy efficient light

·        High mast and LED lights installed in Christian Cemetery, Sector 25, Chandigarh

·        New LED lights provided in Rose Garden alongwith jogging tracks.

·        Till date 50.58 crores have been collected from property tax.

·        Conducted various citizen awareness sessions with Swachhata Ambassadors from city schools and colleges

·        To strengthen the Animal Birth Control programme in city, all required machinery and infrastructure has been added in sterilization programme

·        Started honouring the Safaikarmacharis and door to door waste collectors on their retirement by expressing gratitude towards their irreplaceable services rendered in making the city beautiful clean.

·        Acting tough on the poor maintenance of roundabouts throughout city, cancelled maintenance agreements with various parties.

·        Extending help to city based Self Help Groups, MoM’s Tiffin’ service launched.

·        Strengthening the segregation of waste disposal system, third Material Recovery Facility-cum-Garbage Transfer station made operational at Sector 25, near Dadumajra.

·        To get rid from the banned plastic carry bags, confiscated banned items and started registering FIRs under Environment Protection Act.

·        Conducted 7 days special cleanliness drive with plogging activity to clean N- choe, from Rose Garden to palm garden, sector 42 under ‘Shramdaan’ campaign.

·        Launched ‘Swachhta ki kadi toot Na jaaye, Ek Bhi Ghar Choot Na Jaaye’ Jan Andolan awareness campaign in association with Chandigarh Welfare Trust during which the students sensitized citizens about segregation of waste.

·        Conducted Town Vending Committee (TVC) Election for five members of the Vendors (Protection of livelihood and Regulation of Street Vending) Act 2014 as per the provisions laid down in the Rules 2015.

·        Restored Rs. 28.51 lacs, which was fraudulently withdrawn from saving bank account in October last year.

·        Appointment letters given to newly recruited officers/ officials of MCC with a message to come forward and live up to the responsibilities.

·        Proposal passed to levy entry tax for commercial vehicles to generate revenue

·        Keeping in view the safety of cyclists, Bicycle Safety Campaign launched in association with Patiala Foundation by pasting reflective stickers on bicycles of labourers and other citizens

·        ‘On Foot’ visits of officers started under the leadership of Commissioner to take stock of ongoing development works alongwith to see the issues of area residents by involving respective area councillors.

·        Violators started penalized under Advertisement Control Order for displaying of unauthorized boards/hoardings etc. after conducting awareness workshops for market welfare associations.

·        Strengthening the bonds between the visiting delegates from other states on their study tours to Chandigarh welcome policy has been channelized.

·        Started functioning of fully automatic block making machine, hydro-vibro compaction type with batch mix plant at the C&D waste plant site, industrial area, Phase-I.

·        Started ‘Helmet Bank’ at the premises of Municipal Corporation Chandigarh under road safety project namely “ SADAK” in association with NGO Patiala Foundation.

·        In a move to promote the welfare of pet owners in Chandigarh, integrated the online registration facility through iamChandigarh app for pet owners.

·        To strengthen and improve the sanitation condition inside vegetable market compound, regular inspections conducted.

·        The Ministry of Home Affairs, Govt. of India gave final nod to the proposal of UT Chandigarh Administration regarding externally aided project of Municipal Corporation Chandigarh for 24×7 pan city water supply at Chandigarh with the financial outlay of Rs. 576.57 crore for the period 2022-23 to 2026-27.

·        Various awareness camps under the theme “Aapke Saath” were organized in different parts of city to engage Market Welfare Associations and Resident Welfare Associations for segregation of waste at source level and stop the usage of single use plastic products and Home Composting.

·        Started mobile “ Cloth Bag selling unit “ at grain market , Sector 26, Chandigarh run by city based Self Help Group.

·        Extending honour to the people who daily cycle to work, a cycle rally organised to mark ‘World Bicycle Day’ during which honoured employees of MCC and labours who are the real promoters of cycling in city.

·        To mark World Environment day ‘ Back to Roots’ campaign organised in  a bid to contribute towards improving the environment by involving citizens to join together and make some efforts for tree plantation.

·        In a bid to clean all the neighbourhood parks in city by involving area councillors and local citizens in their respective areas, ‘ Hamare Parks, Hamari Pehchaan’ campaign organised.

·        To reach out city people for creating awareness regarding Swachh Survekshan-2023, engaged prominent singer Sh. Kanhiya Mittal as brand ambassador.

·        ‘Clean as you jog’, plogging activity to save the environment started which helps people burn some extra calories as they are constantly bending to collect the trash all along the route during jogging.

·        Regular teams have been constituted to monitor any kind of blockage of road gullies and waterlogging during monsoon season.

·        In a bid to clean 305 public toilets as well as community toilets by involving all councillors and citizens to join together and make their best possible efforts maintaining public toilets and community toilets clean, a  “ Swachh Rakkho, Swasth Raho”  campaign organised.

·        Newly toilet block dedicated to public at Fragrance garden, sector 36.

·        Strengthening the C&D waste plant, started to cast bricks by recycled concrete aggregate at automatic block making plant with a capacity of casting approximately ten thousand bricks daily.

·        In a bid to strengthen the cattle catching teams, the units have been empowered and regular drives are being conducted to impound cattle from various parts of city to get rid of stray cattle.

·        New community Centres in Sector 20 and Sector 30 dedicated and opened to public for organising functions and gatherings.

·        Proposal passed for body worn cameras and safety jackets for enforcement wing employees for better implementation of the rule and regulations

·        Took possession of 12.48 acre of land in Manimajra having market value of nearly 350 crores.

·        Cracks down on defaulters who litter on public places with imposing a challan of Rs. 11576.

·        Theme based plantation done during tree plantation drives in various parts of city including planting saplings of medicinal plants, ornamental trees, shrubs and bushes etc.

·        To facilitate Street Vendors, SVANidhi Mahotsav, a cultural festival organised for celebrating the success of PM SVANidhi Scheme during which the street vendors honoured by appreciating their roles in reducing cost of living by providing services at affordable rates to the society

·        Extending big relief for EWS colonies, the Chandigarh Administration has issued notification regarding waiver of property tax for EWS colonies (residential) having area for than 500 Sq. Ft.

·        Extending help of Rs. 2.28 lacs to Smt. Jyoti Sharma, W/o Late Sh. Sudesh Kumar, driver through outsource, who lost his life during an accident while on duty on 27th May, 2022.

·        Foundation stone laid for providing Multi-specialty Veterinary Hospital at Gaushala, Raipur Kalan.

·        Started scientific incineration of the sanitary waste right from the collection in separate compartments upto its scientific disposal by signing an MoU with local firm.

·        In a bid to sensitize the school students, ‘Swachhata Ki Paathshala’ campaign started during which the students are being sensitized for segregation of waste at source level, stop the usage of single use plastic items and Home composting.

·        Integrated control and command centre (ICCC) inaugurated by Sh. Amit Shah, Union Home and Cooperative Minister, Govt. of India. For monitoring the smart field elements like CCTV surveillance cameras wherein more than 1000 cameras installed for real time surveillance of traffic junctions and other important buildings of Chandigarh like water works, parks, government hospitals, community centres, parking locations, schools etc. at around 285 locations.

·        Started functioning of Police Command and Control Centre (PCCC).

·        Rejuvenation of ‘Amrit Sarovar’ at village Kaimbwala and village Sarangpur under Mission Amrit Sarovar as part of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav.

·        In order to reduce the littering in roads and to eradicate single use plastic, “Har Gadi Bin, Har Gadi Bag” started in association with city based car dealer association through which during every purchase of four wheeler the costumer will get a small dustbin and cloth bag to be used in the car.

·        Enroalled all group D employees under Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojna and Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana (PMSBY) under PMSBY.

·        MCC has started its own capacity building training cell through which all the group D employees are getting skill training by the experts of different fields.

·        To perpetuate cultural values among citizens, organised cultural programmes including ‘Holi Milan Samaroh’ and ‘Teej Mahotsav’ and cultural programme of MCC employees.
