ऑनलाइन रजिस्ट्रेशन में कोताही बर्दाश्त नहीं – दुष्यंत चौटाला

हरियाणा के उपमुख्यमंत्री दुष्यंत चौटाला ने अधिकारियों को निर्देश दिए है कि जमीनों की ऑनलाइन रजिस्ट्रियों के मामले में आ रही दिक्कतों को यथाशीघ्र दूर करें ताकि लोगों का तत्काल कार्य हो सके। उन्होंने कार्य में सुस्ती दिखाने वाले अधिकारियों को चेताते हुए कहा कि अगर वे अपनी जिम्मेदारियों के प्रति गंभीर नहीं हुए तो उनके खिलाफ कार्रवाई की जाएगी। मंगलवार को वे चंडीग? स्थित हरियाणा निवास में ‘रजिस्ट्रेशन डीडÓ से संबंधित विभागों के वरिष्ठ अधिकारियों की बैठक की अध्यक्षता कर रहे थे।

उपमुख्यमंत्री को जानकारी दी गई कि जमीनों की रजिस्ट्री के लिए ऑनलाइन अप्वाइंटमैंट लेने की प्रक्रिया शुरू की गई थी परंतु कुछ स्थानों पर कलेक्टर रेट का चयन करने में परेशानी आई है, इस मामले में उपायुक्तों को हिदायतें दी जा रही हैं। बैठक में पोर्टल लिंक, कन्वीयन्स-डीड, औद्योगिक क्षेत्रों में अलॉटी-आई.डी, कंट्रोल्ड एरिया में 7-ए का नोटिफिकेशन तथा नगर एवं आयोजना विभाग की वेबसाइट पर आ रही कुछ परेशानियों के मुद्दे पर भी चर्चा हुई।


बैठक में यह भी जानकारी दी गई कि ‘रजिस्ट्रेशन डीडÓ ऑनलाइन कैसे की जाए, इस बारे में लोगों को समझाने के लिए एक वीडियो तैयार की जाएगी जिससे कि रजिस्ट्री करवाने की पूरी प्रक्रिया समझ में आ जाए। यह वीडियो यू-ट्यूब पर अपलोड की जाएगी। इसके अलावा, यह बताया गया कि रजिस्ट्री के लिए उपायुक्त व जिला राजस्व अधिकारियों को भी प्रशिक्षण दिया जाएगा, जो कि वे आगे प्रोपर्टी डीलरों को प्रशिक्षित करेंगे ताकि पात्र लोगों को रजिस्ट्री करवाने में किसी प्रकार की परेशानी का सामना न करना पड़े।

डिप्टी सीएम ने ऑनलाइन ‘रजिस्ट्रेशन डीडÓ में आ रही समस्याओं को सुनने के बाद अधिकारियों को निर्देश दिए कि इन समस्याओं का जल्द से जल्द निवारण करने के लिए एक समर्पित-टीम की जिम्मेवारी लगाएं ताकि लोगों को सुविधा हो व सिस्टम में पारदर्शिता आए।

A National Webinar on “Prospects of National Education Policy-2020 in Higher Education” Organized by Department of Zoology, Panjab University

Chandigarh:

Department of Zoology, Panjab University organized a national webinar on “Prospects of National Education Policy-2020 in higher education”which was presided by Vice Chancellor, Prof. Raj Kumar , today.He emphasized the need to incorporate basic sciences like Zoology with the industry and enhance the employability of the students.

 Dr Leena Chandran Wadia, senior fellow at Observer Research Foundation, Mumbai was the speaker of the event and she spoke on the topic “NEP-2020: A New Dawn for Higher Education in India?” She started her talk by stating the aim of NEP to build character, make productive, contributable citizens for making an equitable society.  She pointed out the main features of NEP 2020 like the need of liberal education, vocational education and multidisciplinary approach as the pillars of this policy. She reflected that providing autonomy and institutional governance to higher educational institutions would drive the education system. Further, she said that empowering the faculty would play an important role in the success of NEP in higher education.

हिसार एयरपोर्ट पर टैक्सी-वे का काम शुरू, रन-वे एक्सटेंशन का कार्य भी जल्द होगा आरंभ – दुष्यंत चौटाला

चंडीगढ़, 7 सितंबर। हरियाणा के उपमुख्यमंत्री दुष्यंत चौटाला ने बताया कि हिसार एयरपोर्ट पर टैक्सी-वे का काम शुरू हो गया है तथा जल्द ही रन-वे एक्सटेंशन के लिए भी कार्य शुरू हो जाएगा। वे सोमवार को चंडीगढ़ स्थित हरियाणा निवास में प्रदेश के नागरिक उड्डयन विभाग के अधिकारियों की मीटिंग की अध्यक्षता करने के बाद मीडिया से रूबरू हो रहे थे।

बैठक के बाद उपमुख्यमंत्री ने बताया कि हिसार एयरपोर्ट को लेकर पर्यावरण विभाग की एनओसी इसी माह मिलने की उम्मीद है। इस मुद्दे को लेकर जल्द ही केंद्र सरकार के अधिकारियों के साथ मीटिंग होगी और एनओसी मिलने की सारी अड़चनें दूर हो जाएंगी।

डिप्टी सीएम ने बताया कि हिसार एयरपोर्ट पर टैक्सी-वे का काम शुरू हो गया है। उन्होंने आगे जानकारी दी कि रन-वे एक्सटेंशन का कार्य भी शीघ्र ही शुरू हो जाएगा, इसके लिए हालांकि एनओसी आनी बाकी है, लेकिन सरकार ने काम करने वाली एजेंसी को मशीनें रखने की इजाजत दे दी है। दुष्यंत चौटाला ने कहा कि एनओसी मिलते ही रन-वे एक्सटेंशन का काम तत्काल शुरू हो जाएगा और उसके बाद टर्मिनल बनाना भी आरंभ कर दिया जाएगा।

PU Issues Guidelines/Instructions for UG/PG Final Exams

PU Date Sheet Released

            The Panjab University authorities has decided to conduct the final Semester examinations for Undergraduate/Postgraduate classes in the 3rd week of September, 2020 through online mode, in view of COVID-19 pandemic and interrupted academic activities. The Controller office will be sending examination related material etc. to the Principal/Chief Coordinator/Controller of Examinations of the college through University website/Email.

            In this regard, a letter has been issued to the Principals of all the Affiliated Colleges/Departments of PU to supply the active email Ids (atleast two)  mobile numbers (having Whatsapp of the college for emergency communication) and name  of two senior faculty members of the College / Institute /Department, who will be engaged for the conduct of final semester examinations of Undergraduate/Postgraduate/other exit classes, September, 2020.

The Panjab University authorities has allowed to conduct the Viva-voce  /presentation etc. of exit classes of undergraduate/Postgraduate/vocational/diploma/etc. upto 6th October 2020, in view of COVID-19 pandemic and interrupted academic activities.

            In this regard, a letter has been written to all Principals of all the affiliated colleges/departments of PU to make necessary arrangements for the smooth conduct of Viva-voce/presentation etc. in ONLINE MODE and inform all the concerned accordingly. The list of examiners who will actually conduct these Viva-Voce/Presentation may be sent to the office of Controller after the termination of the examination. They have been requested to complete the process by 06.10.2020 positively and awards to be submitted online at webportal and scanned copy mailed at email address [email protected].

It is also informed that some Private/USOL/Re-appear candidates will be allocated in few colleges, their cases may be considered and awards to be sent separately.

            Panjab University, Chandigarh has today released the date sheet for online examinations to be held in September 2020 for Under Graduate/Post Graduate/Diploma/Vocational etc courses and will be available on PU Website i.e. puchd.ac.in.

The Commissioner said that the E-Governance project is being implemented by Chandigarh Smart City Limited (CSCL) for approximately 28 municipal services, which upon implementation will facilitate the municipal staff and the citizens of Chandigarh. By implementing the online services citizens will be able to get the services from the comfort from their home such as water and sewage connections, online booking of community centres, submission of the property tax, grievance redressal, Online Building Plan Approval System etc.

Panjab University, SC/ST Cell Organized Webinar on New Education Policy-2020

SC/ST Cell of Panjab University, Chandigarh organized a webinar on the theme “Welfare Policies and Schemes for the Growth and Development of SCs and STs in Higher Education: With Special Reference to NEP-2020”.

Co-ordinator-cum-Liaison Officer, SC/ST Cell, Panjab University, Prof. M. C. Sidhu, welcomed the Vice Chancellor, speakers and the participants.

 The Chief Guest of the webinar, Prof. Raj Kumar Vice Chancellor, Panjab University, congratulated the faculty on the teacher’s day. Speaking at the inaugural session of the webinar, he emphasized to devise and implement policies to provide better academic support to the students belonging to Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribe Categories with a special reference for the education of the girl students. The Vice chancellor also stressed upon providing access to the resources and allowing participation of students of these categories at all levels. He also advised the organizers to prepare a roadmap for the implementation of NEP-2020 bwith special reference to SC/ST students.

More than 120 participants have attended the webinar. The participants have discussed their concerns related to the NEP-2020 with both the experts, said Prof. Sidhu. The webinar was hosted by Dr. Naresh Kumar, UIET and discussion part was managed by Dr. Rajni, Assistant Professor, USOL and Organizing Secretary of webinar. 

Prof. Supinder Kaur, Department of Laws and Co-convener of webinar presented the theme of the webinar. At the end vote of thanks was delivered by Prof. Anil Kumar, UIPS and Co-convener of webinar. GIRLS HOSTEL NUMBER 10 ORGANISED NEERJA BHANOT MEMORIAL DAY

A candle lighting ceremony was organised in the memory of Ms. Neerja Bhanot to mark the Commemoration Day at the Neerja Bhanot Hall, Girls Hostel Number 10, sector 25 Chandigarh on 5th September, 2020. The hostel has been named after this young inspiring martyr. Presently, the hostel has been converted into the COVID hospital and is harbouring the COVID positive patients.

Every year on this day, the staff and residents of the hostel, remember Ms. Neerja Bhanot, who laid her life heroically, saving lives of passengers on the hijacked Pan Am Flight 73 from terrorists on Sept. 5, 1986. 

Warden, Dr Archana Chauhan, hostel staff and the staff of Government Multispeciality Hospital Sector 16 Chandigarh on duty at the Neerja Bhanot Hall paid tributes to Ms. Neerja.

 Although a few residents wanted to be part of this memorial day event but were not allowed due to safety concerns. On the occasion, a two-minute silence was observed to pay homage to the martyr. Candles were lit in the hostel compound. Govt guidelines for COVID-19 pandemic were followed during the event.

Teachers Day celebrated by PUZS, PU

Panjab University Zoological Society (PUZS) organised a virtual programme on the occasion of Teachers Day celebration. The programme was celebrated with great enthusiasm and zeal by the faculty and students of the department. The main attraction of the evening were the retired teachers of this department who joined the meeting, to name few among them were senior most professor PK Mittal, Prof. RC Sobti former Vice Chancellor Panjab University and Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University, Lucknow, Prof. T. Gill, (Ex-Dean Alumni Association, Panjab University), Prof. CL Duggal (Ex member of senate, PU) etc.

To relive the old memories and make the retired faculty feel homely, a small video clip depicting the old glimpses of the department was played on the occasion. The students expressed their gratitude to the beloved teachers with the theme  “My teachers , My Hero’s” through speech, video, presentations and poems.

On the request of senior teachers Prof. VK Walia sang old melodious song which was cheered by the students and teachers. In the end each senior teacher blessed the students and staff with their words of encouragement and wisdom which was followed by chit chat about the various activities going in the department and students expressed how much they are missing their department. PU to Conduct Online Exams from 17 Sept

For Detailed News-

Panjab University, Chandigarh has decided to conduct the first ever online examinations of Undergraduate(UG) and Postgraduate (PG) Courses from 17th September, 2020. However, the practicals for UG/PG exit or terminal classes will be conducted online from 10-15 September 2020.

The Roll number of the students will be uploaded on the University website from Sept12,2020.The UG Examinations will be of 2 hours duration from 9 am – 11 am.     The question papers as per date Sheet will be uploaded on the University website www.puchd.ac.in at 8.30 AM and it will also be emailed to Chairperson/Director/ Principal.  The Chairperson/Director/Principal will send the question paper to the concerned student using different electronic modes.  The Director / Principal of the Institute/College/USOL will upload the question paper at their official website also. The students will be able to download the same from the PU Website i.e. puchd.ac.in. After 2 hours, the students will send a scanned answer book by uploading the same to the source. If by any chance, they are unable to submit online, the facility is provided to submit the same in the sealed envelope physically to the nearest Nodal Centre or by Registered/Speed Post     and the list of all Nodal Centres will be uploaded on the University website. Similarly the PG exam will be held from 10am-12am.

The candidate will be required to attempt 50% of the question paper by choosing any questions. However, the student shall ensure that he/ she has attempted an answer carrying 50% of the maximum marks where 50% is fraction (2.5 will be 2). They will not be asked to attempt any compulsory question. . The candidates will solve the question paper from their location on A4 size paper in his handwriting with a maximum page limit of 12 sheets of which only one side has to be used. The candidate is required to write his/her roll no/class/paper/course and signature on each sheet.

In case, the student cannot appear online, a special extra chance will be given to appear in the physical exam as and when the situation improves.

The evaluation will be completed within 5 days of termination of exams and results will be declared accordingly.

Prof. Raj Kumar, Vice Chancellor has constituted a special Monitoring Coordination Committee which will be monitoring the issues on day to day basis related to exams, technical hurdles, administrative issues and logistics pertaining to online exams. A special dedicated email will be generated by the Controller office for addressing grievances regarding online exams.

The Nodal centre will be created where all kinds of facilities related to online conduct/post conduct activities will be provided.
