he environs of Satluj Public School, Sector 2 wore a festive look on the second day of the 43rd Annual Function Satluj Go – Getters 2019. Brig Ajay Malik- Brig EME Chandimandir, Hardeep Malik – SE Horticluture Haryana, Mr. Gagan Chahal- Mr. Punjab 2016, Singer, Artist and Lyricist and Mr. Paras Jetly –vocalist and were Guests of Honour at the occasion.
Students captivated the audience with their endearing and enthusiastic performance in this spectacular show. Students performed Ganesh Stuti and Krishna Vandana to embrace the function with a pious beginning. Students of Grade-1 gave a beautiful performance dressed up as kings and queens. Colloquy of nature, a musical act was appreciated by all the parents. Students portrayed the magical world of Harry Potter as well. The scholars of grade 1 presented a spooky Halloween act in which students were dressed as monsters.
Students of grade II presented a tribute to the Founder Chairman S. Pritam Singh Serai Ji. They also showcased the harmful effects of plastic on the Earth and how we can overcome it in their wonderful act of -Are we humans? The eye catching performance of the event was the grand finale – the Bhangra Euphoria which filled the audience with effervescence.
More than 500 students were given trophies, medals and certificates for their excellence in academic and non-academic areas.
Director Principal Mr. Gur K. Serai mentioned that children need to be given a platform to showcase their talent and to participate in interactive activities. This harnesses their curiosity which motivates and inspires them to investigate and explore the world around them.
