Simplicity is the crux of communication: Chitra Sarwara
The third day of the seven-day long Faculty Development Program (FDP) titled ‘Enhancing Visibility & Perception of the Self as a Brand’ started on an enthusiastic note. The course coordinator, Dr. Sumedha Singh, gave a kick start to the day by running the participants through self branding activities.
Chitra Sarwara, Politician, and Gaurav Dwivedi, Actor were the key attractions of the day. As a resource person, Chitra Sarwara started by saying that branding of the self is a huge responsibility on oneself. Need to communicate is more important than what to communicate. Emphasising on the packaging of the content more than which tools to be used, she elaborated that simplicity touches the audiences. Thus, one must mirror happiness in one’s communication which could happen when we start mirroring happiness in one’s communication. She concluded by stressing that correct branding gives you apt identity and credibility.
Actor Gaurav Dwivedi was a big hit amongst the participants as well. He asked why one’s target audience should connect with oneself! Elaborating on that, he said that adaptability is the key. Believe that you can do it. He summarised by saying that reality is stranger than fiction.
