कृषि एवं किसान कल्याण विभाग द्वारा जिला में वर्ष 2019-20 के दौरान केन्द्र सरकार के नई इन-सीटू क्रोप रेजीडयू मैनेजमेंट स्कीम के तहत कृषि यंत्रों का ड्रा आगामी 19 अगस्त को निकाला जााएगा। यह ड्रा सहायक कृषि अभियंता सिरसा कार्यालय में निकाला जाएगा। उन्होंने बताया कि लक्ष्यों से अधिक आवेदनों का चयन ड्रा/लाटरी के माध्यम से किया जाएगा।
सहायक कृषि अभियंता जसविन्द्र सिंह चौहान ने बताया कि विभाग द्वारा सुपर स्ट्रा मैनेजेमेंट सिस्टम (एस एम एस), हैप्पी सीडर, पैडी स्ट्रा चैपर/श्रेडर/मल्चर, शर्ब मास्टर/कट्टर कम स्प्रेडर, रिर्वेसिबल एमबी प्लो, रोटरी स्लेशर, जीरो टिल ड्रील मशीन, रोटावेटर आदि कृषि यंत्रों हेतु ड्रा निकाला जाएगा। उन्होंने बताया कि जिन किसानों ने आनलाईन आवेदन विभागीय वैबसाईट डब्ल्यूडब्ल्यूडब्ल्यू डॉट एग्रीहरियाणा डॉट ओआरजी पर 10 जुलाई तक किया है, वे किसान अपने आवेदित कृषि यंत्र के दस्तावेज, आनलाईन फार्म, आधार कार्ड, बैंक खाता की फोटो प्रति, पैन कार्ड, वैद्य ट्रैक्टर की आरसी, जमीन की पटवारी द्वारा की गई रिपोर्ट, वोटर कार्ड, अनुसूचित जाति का प्रमाण पत्र (अगर उस जाति से सम्बंध रखता हो), दो पासपोर्ट फोटो 19 अगस्त तक जमा करवांए। उन्होंने बताया कि व्यक्तिगत किसानों को फसल अवषेश प्रबंधन के 1432 कृषि यंत्रो पर अनुदान मिलेगा।
उन्होंने बताया कि एक किसान लाभार्थी अधिकतम 3 विभिन्न प्रकार के कृषि यंत्र (प्रत्येक एक) के लिए अनुदान का पात्र है। प्रत्येक कृषि यंत्र पर उपलब्ध अनुदान भारत सरकार द्वारा निर्धारित किए गए अधिकतम मूल्य का 50 प्रतिशत अथवा भारत सरकार द्वारा निर्धारित अधिकतम अनुदान राशि (जो कम हो) देय होगी। इन उपकरणों की खरीद कृषि तथा किसान कल्याण मंत्रालय भारत सरकार द्वारा अधिकृत तथा सूचिबद्ध कृषि यंत्र निर्माताओं से करनी अनिवार्य है।

हरियाणा महिला विकास निगम द्वारा अब विधवा महिलाओं को आत्मनिर्भर बनाने के लिए रोजगार चलाने के लिए बैंकों के माध्यम से तीन लाख तक का लोन दिया जाएगा। लोन पर 25 प्रतिशत अधिकतम 50 हजार रुपए की सब्सिडी हरियाणा महिला विकास निगम की तरफ से दी जाएगी।
यह जानकारी देते हुए अतिरिक्त उपायुक्त मनदीप कौर ने बताया कि हरियाणा महिला विकास निगम महिलाओं को आत्मनिर्भर बनाने और समाजिक जीवन को उठाने में सदैव तत्पर रहता है। हरियाणा महिला विकास निगम की और से समय-समय पर महिलाओं के लिए जनकल्याणकारी स्कीमें चलाई जाती है।
उन्होंने बताया कि निगम सभी वर्ग की महिलाओं को स्वरोजगार चलाने के लिए 1.50 लाख रुपए तक का लोन विभिन्न बैंकों के माध्यम से दिलाया जाता है जिसमें 10 प्रतिशत की सब्सिडी अधिकतम 5 हजार रुपये निगम द्वारा दी जाती है। उसी प्रकार अब विधवा महिलाओं के लिए लोन की राशि बढ़ा कर 3 लाख रुपये कर दी गई है और अनुदान राशि 25 प्रतिशत अधिकतम 50 हजार रुपये कर दी गई है। उन्होंने बताया कि महिला अपना स्वरोजगार जैसे रेडीमेड, कपड़े मनियारी, ब्यूटी पार्लर, ऑटो, ई-रिक्शा इत्यादि कार्यों के लिए लोन के लिए आवेदन कर सकती हैं।
जिला प्रबंधक विजय सिंह ंने बताया कि एजुकेशन स्कीम के तहत ऐसी लड़कियां जिन्होंने बैंकों से एजुकेशन लोन लिया हुआ है उन्हें ब्याज पर निगम द्वारा 5 प्रतिशत की सब्सिडी दी जाती है। उन्होंने बताया कि इन स्कीमों की लाभ लेने के लिए इच्छुक महिलाएं जिला कार्यालय हरियाणा महिला विकास निगम बाईपास रोड़ एमआइटीसी कॉलोनी गली नम्बर 1 में संपर्क कर सकते हैं।

He expressed her as an epitome of dignity and courage. She was an outstanding parliamentarian, prolific orator and PU Alumnus. It is a great loss for the nation and the University, where she studied L.L.B from Department of Laws, PU during 1971-74.

The four day Induction Programme for the students of Ist Semester for the session 2019-21 started in the department today. On the first day the students were introduced to the department by the Chairperson. Prof. Rajat Sandhir, Dept. of Biochemistry delivered a special lecture entitled “Panjab University at a Glance”. Through his lecture he acquainted students with the rules and regulations, infrastructure and various courses running in the University. Prof. N.K. Ojha, Former Chairperson and PUTA President was a Chief guest on the occasion. Prof. N.K. Ojha interacted with the new students and encouraged them to excel in their life. The IAS Centre, Panjab University, Chandigarh commenced with the new batch of the IAS students. The chief guest for the Inaugural session was Mr. Hussan Lal, IAS, Secretary, PWD, B&R, Punjab. Mr. Lal encouraged and motivated the students with his words. He discussed a detailed outline of what is required from the students who have decided to take this difficult but important course. He shared effective tips with the students which makes it easier to clear the exam.
5 students from the IAS Centre who have cleared the PCS Executive exam and one UGC Net student, were also honoured at the session. The first meeting of the Programme Advisory Group (PAG) of Technology Enabling Centre(TEC) Panjab University sanctioned by Department of Science and Technology, New Delhi, Government of India was held under the Chairmanship of Prof. Raj Kumar, Vice Chancellor, Panjab University, Chandigarh. He shared with the members that Panjab University is already geared up to take newer initiative as proposed under the mandate of TEC and he further affirmed a full support to the Coordinator and Co-Coordinator so as to enable Industry Academia toward commercialisation.
Panjab University is one among the nine institutes which were selected, for setting up TEC Centre, after a competition at ICT Mumbai last year. Under this centre Panjab University would play a role of enabler for transferring the technologies from Academia to Industry besides University would also create the data base of the expertise available in the area for the industry, mining of the technologies, identifying and sorting the problems of industry helping MSME’s so that the intellect available in the academia could be utilised for development of products for the betterment of human life.
Under this centre, PU would organise various innovation events, workshops, idea generations, look to possibility of industry sponsored PhD’s, technology evaluations etc. The University would map various industries and create a data base with priority target in the area of Bio Medical Devices, Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology, Engineering & IT and Food & Agriculture.
PAG members discussed the view points and approved the proposed agenda of PU-TEC for first year. The members who participated in the discussion included Mr. Sarvjit Singh Virk, President CII, Dr. DNV Kumara Guru, Director External Relations, ISB Mohali, Dr. Pushvinder Jit Singh, Managing Director, Tynor Orthotics, Prof. Arun K. Baranwal, PGIMER Chandigarh, Dr. Anita Aggarwal & Dr. Krishna Kanth Pulicherla represented DST, New Delhi, Dr. Vinay Mehta from Chitkara, Prof. Rupinder Tewari, Prof. Rakesh Tuli, Prof. Manu Sharma, Co-Coordinator TEC and Prof. Sanjeev Puri, Coordinator TEC. Panjab University is expected to receive a grant of Rs. 1 crore for the first year followed by further extensions for a period of 5 years amounting to Rs. 5 crores.

Chandigarh, 6th August 2019: A meeting to review the status of projects under Smart City Mission Chandigarh was held under the Chairmanship of Sh. Manoj Kumar Parida, Advisor to the Administrator, U.T., Chandigarh in the presence of senior officers of Chandigarh Administration.
Sh. K.K. Yadav, Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, Chandigarh who is also CEO, Chandigarh Smart City Ltd. briefed the Chairman that tenders for projects work Rs. 111.00 Crore has been received by Chandigarh Smart City Ltd. which includes major projects like Public Bike Sharing, Legacy Waste Bio Mining at Daddumajra and E-governance services among other projects in the city.
The Advisor directed that the tenders for these 9 projects must be finalized by the end of August, 2019. CEO, CSCL further apprised that DPR’s / RFP’s of projects of worth more than Rs. 900.00 Crore has been approved or are under review by the Technical Committee. The tenders for these works will be floated maximum by 31.08.2019. The Advisor directed that the pilot project for 24×7 water supply in Manimajra should be re-worked at the earliest and tenders for the same must be finalized by 15.09.2019. The major project which is coming up includes Up-gradation of 5 nos. Sewerage Treatment Plants and Construction of one new Sewerage Treatment Plant at Kishangarh with total cost of Rs. 550.00 Crore.
It was also apprised that the technical proposal for development of integrated Command and Control Centre in Sector-17, Chandigarh has been received from Bharat Electronics Ltd. with whom the Chandigarh Smart City Ltd. has signed the MOU which is under evaluation and soon will be brought to Board of Directors for its approval.
The Advisor directed that the Police houses in Sector-17, Chandigarh which is designated site for ICCC Building should be vacated not later than 20th August, 2019 and Chandigarh Smart City Ltd. should immediately float the tenders for construction of building for housing the ICCC. He also stressed that a single mobile application should be developed for all the services in the city and existing applications should be integrated with this app for the ease of citizens. He directed that the work of Legacy Waste Bio Mining at Dadumajra should be started at the earliest, so as to give relief to the residents of Daddumajra from the foul smell and lechatte, oozing out from the garbage dump. The Commissioner apprised that under the waste segregation scheme 3 nos. material recovery facilities and garbage transfer stations are being setup at Industrial Area, Phase-I, 3-BRD and Dadumajra, Chandigarh, so that the transport costs are reduced and the city is made bin free.
The other major projects coming up in the city are Smart Classrooms, Underground Utility Mapping, SCADA for recycled water and Monitoring of Individual Street Lights in Sector-17, 22, 35 and 43, Chandigarh. The Advisor directed that Pet Bottle Crushing Machine should be setup at various locations including Bus Stands and Lake area where the foot fall is very high. The CEO, CSCL apprised that the 20 Nos. Water ATM’s stations will be setup to provide clean, hygienic and cheap water to the residents and tourists and the project will setup on PPP Mode.
The meeting ended with directions from the Advisor that all the departments should expedite the support required from them by Chandigarh Smart City Ltd. and further directed that Smart City works should not be delayed at any cost.

नवीन एवं नवीकरणीय ऊर्जा विभाग द्वारा अनुदान पर सोलर इन्र्वटर चार्जिंग सिस्टम देने हेतु प्राप्त आवेदनों का आगामी 8 अगस्त को प्रात: 11 बजे अतिरिक्त उपायुक्त कार्यालय में ड्रा निकाला जाएगा।
यह जानकारी देते हुए नवीकरणीय ऊर्जा विभाग के प्रोजेक्ट ऑफिसर मनोज जैन ने बताया कि सोलर इन्र्वटर चार्जिंग सिस्टम के लिए जिला के 4406 व्यक्तियों ने सरल केन्द्रों के माध्यम से आवेदन किया था। उन्होंने बताया कि जिला में प्राप्त लक्ष्य के आधार पर 18 सोलर इन्र्वटर चार्जिंग स्टिम दिए जाने हैं जिसमें 300 वॉट के 11 व 500 वॉट के 7 सिस्टम का ड्रा निकाला जाएगा। उन्होंने बताया कि 300 वॉट का चार्जिंग सिस्टम जिसकी लागत 15 हजार है जिस पर 6 हजार रुपये अनुदान दिया जाएगा। इसी प्रकार 500 वॉट के सिस्टम की अनुमानित लागत 22 हजार रुपये है जिस पर 10 हजार रुपये का अनुदान दिया जाएगा। उन्होंने बताया कि यह ड्रा अधिकारियों की गठित कमेटी द्वारा विभाग की हिदायतों के अनुसार कम्प्यूटर ड्रा सिस्टम के द्वारा निकाला जाएगा।
