NIFT Panchkula Hosts Spectacular “Deepotsav” to Celebrate Diwali
Panchkula, 9 November : NIFT Panchkula hosted a captivating Deepotsav celebration to commemorate the joyous festival of Diwali. The event was graced by the esteemed presence of Mr A.P.S. Nimbadia, IG, ITBP, Bhanu as Guest of Honour, Sh. Ishwar Singh Duhan, former IG, ITBP and Mrs. Sunaini Sharma, renowned folk artist of Punjab. The Dignitaries were welcomed by Dr. Amandeep Singh Grover ,Campus Director-NIFT Panchkula and Mr. Deepak Rana, Joint Director, NIFT Panchkula.
The event featured several stalls set up by NIFT Panchkula students exhibiting creativity and entrepreneurial skills, offering handcrafted products, providing an opportunity to indulge in Diwali shopping, an array of scrumptious food items, and entertaining games.
The evening was illuminated with the warmth and radiance of the festival of lights, as students and attendees immersed themselves in the vibrant aura of the celebration. Commencing at 4:00 PM, the Deepotsav event brought together an amalgamation of cultural vibrancy and festive fervour.
The event was addressed by guest of honour Mr A.P.S. Nimbadia, IG, ITBP .
Dr. Amandeep Singh Grover Director, NIFT Panchkula, extended Diwali greetings to everyone and expressed deep gratitude to all participants for their passionate participation, which contributed greatly to the Deepotsav celebration’s success.
The event was successfully organized by the faculty team of NIFT Panchkula. including, Dr. Nikita-SDAC, Ms. Bharti Pahuja, Ms. Saumya Saxena, Dr. Anita Chahal and Dr. Shikha Sharma Social Media Coordinator with the invaluable support from esteemed patrons, ensuring the event’s resounding success.
