The initiative serves as a reminder of the importance of responsible waste management and highlights how small actions can have a positive impact on the community and the environment.
ARPAN SHG focuses on collecting, segregating, and recycling floral waste generated by religious institutions. Through innovative techniques, the initiative aims to transform these discarded flowers into useful products such as incense cones, Govardhan diyas, and various other recycled items. This not only addresses the issue of waste management but also promotes the concept of a circular economy.
The MC Chandigarh urged everyone to support and actively participate in the sustainable revolution to keep the city clean. Together, citizens can create a greener, cleaner, and more prosperous future for generations to come.
MC Chandigarh continues to pursue various initiatives and partnerships to create a harmonious and eco-friendly environment for its residents and visitors.
