Mayor starts tree plantation drive in sector 4
Chandigarh, July 6:- Smt. Raj Bala Malik, Mayor, Chandigarh started tree plantation drive in a park, sector 4, here today in presence of Sh. Mahesh Inder Singh Sidhu, area councillor. During the drive total 25 saplings of different plants were planted including flowering and medicinal plants at a park having approximately 3.50 acre area infront of House No. 34, sector 4, Chandigarh.
The Mayor asked the concerned engineers of Horticulture wing to provide proper safeguard to the saplings for their protection.
