*Chandigarh, June 24:—* In a major move to transform the city’s urban mobility and parking landscape, the Chandigarh Parking Committee convened a key meeting today under the chairpersonship of Smt. Harpreet Kaur Babla.

The Committee proposed the implementation of a Smart AI-Based Parking Project across 89 key locations in Chandigarh. This forward-looking initiative aims to address increasing parking challenges, ease traffic congestion, and offer a seamless and citizen-centric parking experience through state-of-the-art technology.

It was decided during the meeting that the final draft of the Smart Parking Project will be presented in the upcoming General House meeting for final approval. The project aligns with Chandigarh’s vision of smart, sustainable, and secure urban development.
