Mayor, Sr. Deputy Mayor and Deputy Mayor meets Union Home Minister at Delhi
Chandigarh, August 18:- Smt. Sarbjit Kaur Dhillon, Mayor, Chandigarh today met with Union Home Minister Sh. Amit Shah at New Delhi. She was accompanied by Sh. Dalip Sharma, Senior Deputy Mayor and Sh. Anup Gupta, Deputy Mayor.
During the meeting the Mayor raised some important issued of Chandigarh with the Home Minister including due share be released to Chandigarh as per 4th Delhi Finance Commission; the old property be approved from leasehold to freehold bases; Lal Dora issue of villages in Chandigarh be resolved at the earliest; need based changes be allowed in residential as well as commercial properties in Chandigarh; 1693 posts of Chandigarh Administration be revived including creating of 2096 new posts and policy be framed for the security of contractual employees.
