Mayor inaugurates green belt at Mauli Jagran
Chandigarh, April 27:- Sh. Ravi Kant Sharma, Mayor, Chandigarh inaugurated rejuvenated green belt at village Hallomajra, here today in presence of Sh. Bharat Kumar, area councilor, Haji Mohd. Khurshid Ali, councilor, Sh. Jangsher Singh, Executive Engineer, Horticulture and other concerned officers of MCC.
While sharing information about the green belt, the Mayor said that this green belt having 1 acre of area has been rejuvenated at a cost of Rs. 10 lacs. Iron railing, footpath, landscaping by providing grass, decorative plants and flowering shrubs etc. have been provided in this green belt.
