*Mayor dedicates various developmental works to public at village Daria*
*Chandigarh, December 16:-* Sh. Anup Gupta, Mayor, Chandigarh today dedicated various developmental works completed by the Municipal Corporation Chandigarh at village Daria, here today in the presence of Smt. Bimla Dubey, area councilor and other prominent persons of the area.
While elaborating about the various developmental works at village Daria, the Mayor said that paver blocks have been laid down in internal streets of the village at a cost of Rs. 22 lacs and phirni road constructed at a cost of Rs. 25 lacs besides strengthening of existing storm water drainage system, sewerage system at a cost of Rs. 1.80 crores and augmentation of water supply network at a cost of Rs. 1.43 crores at the village.
He said that the Municipal Corporation is developing infrastructure and providing basic amenities in the villages at par with the sectors of the city. He further said that keeping in view the ease of living of the residents of villages, the MCC has taken these steps to upgrade the living standards of the villages of the city.
