Mayor & Commissioner honoured civil society organisations

Chandigarh, June 5:- Smt. Raj Bala Malik, Mayor and Sh. K.K. Yadav, I.A.S., Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, Chandigarh today honored the Civil Society Organizations i.e. Association of Professional Social Workers and Developmental Practitioners (APSWDP); Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industries (FICCI), Swarmani Youth Welfare Association (SYWA); Shaping Careers Education Society and other and Corporate Industries including Dabur India Ltd. Marico Ltd. Coca Cola Ltd. houses for extending their sustenance support and handholding while combating COVID 19 humanitarian crisis in Chandigarh for economic weaker sections and marginalized communities.

On this occasion, the Mayor gave Certificate of Appreciation to volunteers who have rendered their services during humanitarian response relief including Sh. Hitesh Kumar Gulati, Honorary Director, Association of Professional Social Workers and Developmental Practitioners (APSWDP) ; Smt. RenuAhluwalia, Shaping Careers Education Society; Smt. Anupriya Singh (former UN Consultant); Sh. Rohit Kumar and Sh. Amjad Khan (Swaramani Youth Welfare Association).
