Mayor & Commissioner honour winners of Hindi Pakhwara competitions
Chandigarh, September 22:- Sh. Ravi Kant Sharma, Mayor, Chandigarh and Ms. Anindita Mitra, IAS, Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, Chandigarh honoured the winners of various competitions organized during Hindi Pakhwara held from 7th September to 21st September, 2021.On the occasion,the Mayor said that officials and officers have put their best efforts during the Hindi Pakhwara to promote Hindi in the office and maximum communications/public notices to the residents including vendors have also been served in Hindi language also.He appreciated the articles, poems and essays written by the employees during the Pakhwara and said that this type of practice would be carried out on regular bases in the Corporation to promote Hindi.
