F&CC approves connections of main water supply line with distribution lines at Dadumajra Colony
Chandigarh, December 21:- The Finance and Contract committee of Municipal Corporation Chandigarh has decided to provide connections of main water supply line of size 600 mm with distribution line at various locations in Dadumajra Colony at an estimated cost of Rs. 39.18 lacs and accorded approval to various important agenda items.
This was decided in a meeting of F&CC held here today under the chairpersonship of Smt. Sarbjit Kaur Dhillon, Mayor and attended by Ms. Anindita Mitra, IAS, Commission andother members of committee namely Sh. Mahesh Inder Singh Sidhu, Sh. Saurabh Joshi, Smt. Taruna Mehta, Smt. Gurbax Rawat(Online) and other senior officers of MCC were present during the meeting.
The members of committee discussed other various important agenda items in detail and accorded approval for the following:
· Extension has been accorded in lease period of Shops at Village Badheri, Buterla & Burail, U.T., Chandigarh w.e.f (06.04.2022 to 05.04.2027) with 50% increase on last payable monthly rent with 5% increase every year.
· Supplying and fixing of Gym equipments in Community Centre, Sunder Nagar, Mauli Jagran Part-II, Chandigarh at an estimated cost of Rs. 13.72 lacs
· Re-development of green belt adjoining Community Centre, Sector 39 C&D, Chandigarh at an estimated cost of Rs. 30.58 lacs
· Construction of cement concrete track in parks near House No. 1543 & 1579 in Sector 36, Chandigarh at an estimated cost of Rs. 12.92 lacs
· Purchase of 03 High Pressure Breathing Air Compressors for Fire and Rescue Service, MC, Chandigarh at an estimated cost of Rs. 35.29 lacs
· Upgradation/Renovation of Anganwadi Centre’s at an estimated cost of Rs. 15.74 lacs
· Hiring of 03 Technical Operators for operating the newly built Leachate Treatment Plant at Dumping Ground.
· Extension of lease period of night Shelter/Raen Basera building situated at Pocket No. 2 & 3, Manimajra, Chandigarh leased to the Sadhna Society for Mentally Retarded Children for the purpose of running school of Mentally Retarded Children.
· Installation of Street lights and high electric poles in various streets, parks and market area of Indira Colony and Village Kishangarh, Chandigarh at an estimated cost of Rs.16.71 lacs.
· Providing high electric pole in Sector 16-C, Market parking and street light poles on V5 road along with Sanatan Dharam Mandir, Sector 24, Chandigarh at an estimated cost of Rs. 4.37 lacs.
· Repair of existing paver blocks in V-5 road Milk Colony Dhanas, Chandigarh at an estimated cost of Rs. 23.20 lacs.
· Construction of toe wall baffle wall under MS flat railing in park adjoining Government Model High School, Sector 31-C, Chandigarh at an estimated cost of Rs. 10.62 lacs
· The Construction of Toe wall under existing MS flat railing and special repair of walking track in parks near House No. 59, Sector 4 & house No 15-20, Sector 5, Chandigarh at an estimated cost of Rs. 36.13 lacs.
· Providing and planting of decorative and ornamentals plants in Green Belts of Sector 41, Chandigarh at an estimated cost of Rs. 9.87 lacs
· Providing and fixing of Children Play multiplay equipments & Open Air Gym in various parks in Sector 36 to 42, Chandigarh at an estimated cost of Rs. 22.82 lacs.
· Providing and fixing Children Play Equipments in various parks and green belts of Sector 45, Chandigarh at an estimated cost of Rs. 14.62 lacs.
· Proposal for the work of provide horticulture works by landscaping works like different type of flowering shrubs, decorative plants, ground covers & topiary figures of different shapes etc. in various parks of Sector 45 & 46, Chandigarh at an estimated cost of Rs. 22.78 lacs.
· Construction of cement concrete walking track in various parks of Sector 34, 35 and 43, Chandigarh at an estimated cost of Rs. 32.60 lacs.
· The Development of park by construction of cement concrete track in various parks Sector 36, Chandigarh at an estimated cost of Rs. 45.69 lacs.
· Special repair and maintenance of Community Centre Sector 8, Chandigarh at an estimated cost of Rs. 12.78 lacs.
· Repair/Renovation of Fire Station Sector 11, Chandigarh at an estimated cost of Rs. 23.40 lacs
· Providing and supplying of furniture for Community Center in Sector 11, Chandigarh at an estimated cost of Rs. 4.32 lacs
· Providing and installing furniture in Community Centre, Sector 33, Chandigarh at an estimated cost of Rs. 2.10 lacs
· Special repair of Damaged streets and footpath with PCC tiles in EWS Colony, Sector 38-C, Chandigarh at an estimated cost of Rs. 12.80 lacs.
· Providing street light poles on Hind Motor and OCF road Industrial Area, Ph-I, Chandigarh at an estimated cost of Rs. 39.11 lacs.
· Providing additional lights in park adjoining V5 A/B along with Primary School, Sector 20-B, Chandigarh at an estimated cost of Rs.4.64 lacs.
· Replacement of C.I. water pipe line by providing and laying of 12” i/d and 6” i/d DI water supply line near Jasmine Garden, Sector 28, Chandigarh at an estimated cost of Rs. 14.08 lacs.
· Making Additional Alteration in existing abandoned Sulabh Sauchalaya for making provision of Toilet Block and maintenance booth for W/S and Sewerage Staff located near Booth No.21, Sector-25, Chandigarh at an estimated cost of Rs. 30.42 lacs.
· Providing and laying of additional 300mm (12”) i/d RCC NP-3 pipe line for tapping sewerage from H.No.722 to 804 near Dispensary Hallomajra and connect the sewer to line going to STP near 3BRD, U.T., Chandigarh at an estimated cost of Rs. 23.62 lacs.
· Conducting an Inter-Departmental Cricket Tournament under Municipal Corporation, Chandigarh at an estimated cost of Rs. 5.0 lacs.
