F&CC approves celebration of Chrysanthemum Show 2022 first week of December
Chandigarh, October 27:- The Finance and Contract committee of Municipal Corporation Chandigarh has decided to celebration of Chrysanthemum Show 2022 on 2nd to 4th December 2022 at Terraced Garden, Sector 33, Chandigarh. This was decided in a meeting of F&CC held here today under the chairpersonship of Smt. Sarbjit Kaur Dhillon, Mayor and attended by Ms. Anindita Mitra, IAS, Commission and other members of committee namely Sh. Mahesh Inder Singh Sidhu, Sh. Saurabh Joshi, Sh. Jasbir Singh, Smt. Taruna Mehta, Smt. Gurbax Rawat and other senior officers of MCC were present during the meeting.The members of committee discussed other various important agenda items in detail and accorded approval for the following:• Development of 02 Nos. parks in Dadumajra Colony, Chandigarh at an estimated cost of Rs. 11.83 lacs.• Providing and fixing of Pipe Benches at various Community Centres under the jurisdiction of Horticulture Division No. 2, M.C., Chandigarh at an estimated cost of Rs. 22.43 lacs.• Demolishing of Existing Paver Track and Construction of Cement Concrete Walking Track in Park near House No. 3401 & Construction of C.C. Walking Track in Park near House No. 140, Sector 45-C, Chandigarh at an estimated cost of Rs. 10.78 lacs.• Landscaping work for beautification of Muslim Graveyard, Sector 25, Chandigarh at an estimated cost of Rs. 1.79 lacs.• Construction of Toe Walls, Cement concrete walking tracks and throughway in various parks in Sector 2, 3, 4 & 5, Chandigarh at an estimated cost of Rs. 46.29 lacs.• Providing and fixing of steel pipe benches in various Community Centres under the jurisdiction of Horticulture Division No. 1, M.C., Chandigarh at an estimated cost of Rs. 25.99 lacs.• Restoration of Street light system on V3 road, Sector 1/3, Chandigarh at an estimated cost of Rs. 31.19 lacs.• Development of various parks of Sector 15, 16 & 24, M.C., Chandigarh by landscaping work, providing and fixing of sprinklers, laying of T.T. water pipe line and providing and fixing of PCC Benches at an estimated cost of Rs. 46.67 lacs.• Special repair and replacement of fountain floor tiles and electric features at ZIG-ZAG shaped fountain and oval shaped fountain in Rose Garden Sector 16, Chandigarh at an estimated cost of Rs. 49.56 lacs.• The re-laying cement concrete and paver track after demolishing/taking out existing concrete and paver track in Green Belt Sector 42 A/B, Sector 42 C/D and Fragrance Garden of Sector 38, Chandigarh at an estimated cost of Rs. 38.56 lacs• Providing and laying of 900mm (36”) i/d & 700 mm (28”) i/d RCC pipeline and construction of New drainage channel covered with M.S. Gratings for disposal of Strom Water from Public Toilet blocks near Aakash Hotel to Gautam Flour Mill in Village Attawa, Sector 42-B, Chandigarh at an estimated cost of Rs. 47.78 lacs.• Construction of walking track and toe wall in various parks of Sector 15, Chandigarh at an estimated cost of Rs. 36.59 lacs.• Construction of walking track in various parks of Sector 16 & 24, Chandigarh at an estimated cost of Rs. 48.31 lacs.• Construction of Minor Bridge at T-Point for widening of Road at T-Point near Shani Mandir, Manimajra Chandigarh at an estimated cost of Rs. 39.51 lacs.• Providing and fixing of paver block in parking in front poultry farm & Bhushan Factory in Industrial Area Ph-1, Chandigarh at an estimated cost of Rs. 32.46 lacs.• Construction of parking Opposite Plot No. 181/26 to 181/31 in Industrial Area Ph-1, Chandigarh at an estimated cost of Rs. 26.51lacs.• Reconstruction of flooring of back service lanes in Sector 15-D, Chandigarh at an estimated cost of Rs. 43.37 lacs.• Providing lighting arrangement at Ramadarbar, Chandigarh at an estimated cost of Rs. 26.56 lacs.• Restoration of street light system on V3 road, Sector 1/ 4, Chandigarh at an estimated cost of Rs. 34.58 lacs.• Special Repair/Maintenance of Community Centre Sector 11, Chandigarh at an estimated cost of Rs. 32.64 lacs.• Providing and fixing informatory boards at various Community Centres coming under the jurisdiction of Road Sub Division No.2, MC, Chandigarh at an estimated cost of Rs. 1.57 lacs.• The work of Revamp of flooring by providing high density chequered tiles in front of market/ showrooms and refixing of paver blocks backside SCO’s booths in Market of Sector 36, Chandigarh at an estimated cost of Rs. 19.93 lacs.• Providing of material at Community Centre, Sector 30-B, Chandigarh at an estimated cost of Rs. 01.57 lacs.• Construction of Open Kitchen in Community Centre Sector 20 & 30, Chandigarh at an estimated cost of Rs. 4.95 lacs• Re-construction of Cement Concrete Flooring in Back Service Lane at Sector 27, Chandigarh at an estimated cost of Rs. 33.50 lacs.
