*Commissioner Amit Kumar Reviews 24×7 Water Supply Pilot Project in Manimajra; visits individual houses to check water supply*
To check the drinking water supply at Manimajra, MC Commissioner Mr. Amit Kumar, IAS today visited Manimajra personally to review the status of the 24×7 Water Supply Pilot Project.
The visit was conducted in response to public concerns and several media reports highlighting issues of inadequate water supply in the area. Taking serious note of these grievances, Commissioner Amit Kumar, accompanied by senior officers of the Municipal Corporation, conducted an on-ground inspection to understand the challenges and ensure accountability in the execution of the project.
The Commissioner interacted with local residents, reviewed system functionality, and assured the public that all necessary measures will be taken to resolve the issues and to ensure smooth and reliable water supply under the 24×7 project. He emphasized the MC commitment to transparency, efficient service delivery, and timely redressal of public grievances.
The MCC team led by the Commissioner found 90 percent residents were satisfactory with the drinking water supply system. The Commissioner directed the concerned engineers to rectify the remaining 10 percent area shortly and submit report to him immediately.
