Chandigarh, April 19:- This is for the information of the general public that due to ongoing repair work of canal at various locations, discharged of water in canal at Water works Kajauli has been reduced by the Irrigation Department, Punjab. Due to this repair, raw water from Water Works Kajauli cannot be done in full capacity which further cause to lower down the water level at all the Water Works. Keeping in the above the schedule of water supply in the city shall be as under:-

इस योजना के अंतर्गत खोले गए लगभग 22 करोड़ खातो में कोरोना काल में पांच सौ रुपए  तीन बार जमा कराए गए, जिससे महिलाओं को अपने रोजमर्रा के खर्चे चलाने में आसानी हुई। केंद्र की मोदी सरकार वित्त मंत्री निर्मला सीतारमण के प्रयासों से महिला सशक्तिकरण को बढ़ावा देने के लिए लगभग 6 करोड़ 60 लाख से अधिक महिलाओं को स्वयं सहायता समूह के ग्रुप से जोड़ा गया, हरियाणा भाजपा की वरिष्ठ उपाध्यक्ष बंतो कटारिया ने जानकारी देते हुए बताया कि केंद्र की नरेंद्र मोदी सरकार द्वारा महिलाओं के सशक्तीकरण के लिए बहुत से कदम उठाए जा रहे है, भाजपा सरकार बनने के बाद से  95 प्रतिशत विद्यालयों में शौचालय बनवाए गए है। इससे विद्यालय में पढ़ने वाली लड़कियों की संख्या में वृद्धि हुई है। सरकारी विद्यालयों में  बेटियों को आत्मरक्षा की ट्रेनिंग देने का कार्य भी शुरू किया गया है।


बन्तो कटारिया ने कहा कि निकट भविष्य में भारत 5 ट्रिलियन इकोनामी का लक्ष्य प्राप्त करेगा तो उसे महिलाओं का योगदान गेमचेंजर होगा।

                    उपमंडल अधिकारी (ना.) एवं नगरपालिका कालांवाली के रिवाईजिंग अथॉरिटी विजय सिंह ने बताया कि कालांवाली नगरपालिका के सभी 15 वार्डो की मतदाता सूचियों का प्रारंभिक प्रकाशन कर दिया गया है। मतदाता सूची को लेकर कोई भी मतदाता 26 अप्रैल तक नगरपालिका कार्यालय में अपने दावे व आपत्तियां दर्ज करवा सकता है।


                    उन्होंने बताया कि कालांवाली नगरपालिका मतदाता सूचियों का प्रकाशन किया जा चुका है। मतदाता सूची नगरपालिका व तहसील कार्यालय में उपलब्ध है, जहां पर मतदाता सूची में अपना नाम देख कर सकते हैं। किसी मतदाता को कोई दावा या आपति है तो 26 अप्रैल तक (21 तथा 24 अप्रैल अवकाश के दिन को छोड़कर) अपने दावे या आपति को नगरपालिका कार्यालय में प्रात: 9 से दोपहर तीन बजे तक दर्ज करवा सकते है। उन्होंने बताया कि निर्धारित अवधि तिथि के बाद प्राप्त होने वाले किसी भी दावे व आपत्ति पर विचार नहीं किया जाएगा।

नए सूक्ष्म उद्यमों को बढ़ावा देने में सहायक सिद्ध होगी प्रधानमंत्री सूक्ष्म खाद्य उद्योग उन्नयन योजना: उपायुक्त प्रदीप कुमार

                    उपायुक्त प्रदीप कुमार ने बताया कि आत्म निर्भर भारत अभियान के अंतर्गत भारत सरकार के खाद्य प्रसंस्करण उद्योग मंत्रालय द्वारा असंगठित क्षेत्र व ईनफोरमल रूप में कार्य कर रहे खाद्य प्रसंस्करण सूक्ष्म इकाइयों को बढ़ावा देने के लिए प्रधानमंत्री सूक्ष्म खाद्य उद्योग उन्नयन योजना (पीएमएफएमई) आरंभ की गई है। योजना के तहत वित्तीय वर्ष 2020-21 से 2024-25 के कार्यकाल के दौरान 2 लाख सूक्ष्म खाद्य प्रसंस्करण उद्यमों को फॉर्मल सेक्टर में लाने के लिए 10 हजार करोड़ रुपये का लाभ प्रदान करने का प्रावधान किया गया है। योजना के अंतर्गत अधिकतम 10 लाख रुपये तक की अनुदान सहायता से परियोजना लागत की 35 प्रतिशत क्रेडिट लिंक्ड अनुदान सहायता का प्रावधान है।

                    उन्होंने बताया कि यह योजना में खाद्य प्रसंस्करण में नए सूक्ष्म उद्यम स्थापित करने एवं बढ़ावा देने के लिए सिरसा जिला में वन-डिस्ट्रिक-वन-उत्पाद के तहत किन्नु उत्पाद का चयन किया गया है। इसके अतिरिक्त असंगठित क्षेत्र में खाद्य प्रसंस्करण में काम कर रहे सूक्ष्म उद्यम जैसे आम, आलू, लीची, टमाटर, साबूदाना, किन्नू, भुजिया, पेठा, पापड़, अचार, मोटे अनाज आधारित उत्पाद, मत्स्य / पॉल्ट्री उत्पाद तथा पशुचारा इत्यादि के लिए भी लाभ लेने के पात्र होंगे।


योजना का लाभ लेने के लिए पात्र मापदंड :


                    जिला एमएसएमई केंद्र के सहायक निदेशक गुरप्रताप सिंह ने बताया कि वित्तीय सहायता प्राप्त करने के लिए एक परिवार से केवल एक व्यक्ति पात्र होगा। आवेदक की आयु 18 वर्ष से अधिक हो तथा कम से कम 8वीं कक्षा तक की शैक्षणिक योग्यता रखता हो। प्रधानमंत्री सूक्ष्म खाद्य उद्योग उन्नयन योजना में ऋण प्राप्त करने के लिए ऑनलाइन डब्ल्यूडब्ल्यूडब्ल्यू डॉट एमओएफपीआई डॉट एनआईसी डॉट इन पर आवेदन कर सकते हैं। उन्होंने बताया कि जिला स्तर पर जिला उद्योग केंद्र, सिरसा में जिला एमएसएमई केंद्र का कार्यालय स्थापित किया गया है तथा इस योजना के तहत आवेदकों को सभी प्रकार की सहायता प्रदान करने के उद्देश्य से डिस्ट्रिक रिसोर्स पर्सन की भी नियुुक्ति की गई है। उन्होंने बताया कि इस संबंध में अधिक जानकारी के लिए इच्छुक प्रार्थी जिला उद्योग केंद्र स्थित जिला एमएसएमई सैंटर कार्यालय के दूरभाष नंबर 01666-247650 व कर्मचारी रोहित कुमार (94669-24075) व सतिंद्र सिंह (70154-26599) से संपर्क स्थापित कर सकते है।

                    उपायुक्त प्रदीप कुमार ने बताया कि कोरोना संक्रमण से बचाव के लिए स्वास्थ्य विभाग द्वारा जिला में वैक्सीनेशन का कार्य तेजी से किया जा रहा है। अबतक एक लाख 56 हजार 528 लाभार्थियों को वैक्सीन की डोज दी जा चुकी है। कोरोना संक्रमण से बचाव के लिए प्रत्येक व्यक्ति को चाहिए कि वे अपनी नैतिक जिम्मेवारी समझ कर बचाव उपायों व एसओपी गाइडलाइन की अनुपालना करें तभी कोरोना संक्रमण से बचाव संभव है।


                    उपायुक्त ने कहा कि कोरोना संक्रमण से बचाव के लिए नागरिक अपनी बारी के अनुसार समय पर वैक्सीनेशन करवाएं। जिला में 43 (32 सरकारी व 11 निजी अस्पताल) में वैक्सीनेशन किया जा रहा है। सरकारी संस्थानों में नि:शुल्क टीकाकरण किया जा रहा है, जबकि 11 निजी अस्पतालों में 250 रुपये शुल्क पर वैक्सीनेशन किए जा रहे हैं। उन्होंने कहा कि संक्रमण पर काबू पाने के लिए नागरिकों का सहयोग जरूरी है, इसलिए आमजन जरा भी ढील न बरतें और टैस्टिंग व वैक्सीनेशन अवश्य करवाएं।


                    उन्होंने कहा कि कोरोना के संक्रमण से बचाव व इसके फैलाव पर रोक के लिए सावधानी बहुत ही जरूरी है। सावधानी व संयम बरतकर हम कोविड संक्रमण से बचाव कर सकते हैं। अब कोरोना को लेकर आमजन को और अधिक सावधानी बरतनी होगी तथा कोविड नियमों की गंभीरता से पालना करनी होगी। इसके अलावा बुखार, जुखाम, खांसी आदि होने पर अपनी स्वास्थ्य जांच जरूर करवाएं। इसके साथ-साथ वैक्सीनेशन के लिए भी स्वयं आगे आकर टीका लगवाएं। वैक्सीन के संबंध में किसी प्रकार की गलत अफवाहों पर ध्यान न दें और नि:संकोच होकर वैक्सीनेशन सैंटर पर जाकर वैक्सीन की डोज लें। उन्होंने बताया कि 60 से अधिक व 45 से 60 वर्ष आयु के गंभीर बीमारी से पीडि़त लोगों को वैक्सीन दी जा रही है। नागरिक बिना किसी भय व झिझक के कोरोना वैक्सीन जरूर लगवाएं और दूसरों को भी इसके लिए प्रेरित करें। उन्होंने कहा कि कोरोना को लेकर लापरवाही न बरतें और मॉस्क का अनिवार्य रूप से इस्तेमाल करें। वैक्सीन लगवाने के साथ-साथ सोशल डिस्टेसिंग, सैनिटाइजेशन आदि बचाव उपायों की गंभीरता से पालना करें।

More than 600 Scientists Participated

University Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Panjab University successfully organised an International Brain Research Organization (IBRO) funded Mega International Event IBRO Global Engagement Virtual Public Lecture on 17 April 2021 at 7pm by  Professor Walter J. Koroshetz Director, National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke (NINDS), National Institutes of Health, USA,  on ” Golden Age of Neuroscience”.

Dr. Koroshetz apprised the audience that neuroscience is entering the golden age. Researchers can now map, monitor and modulate complex neural circuits, enabling the pursuit of research questions previously considered unapproachable. He dwelt on the recent advancements in the field of modern and systems neuroscience and explained how the convergence of two will reveal the hidden secrets of brain, the most wondrous organ of human body. 

Chair, IBRO Asia-Pacific Regional Committee (APRC) Dr. Pike See Cheah from Malaysia educated the audience about the mission, core values, opportunities and grants offered by IBRO-APRC. 

Earlier, Professor Indu Pal Kaur, Organising Chair and Chairperson UIPS  extended a cordial welcome to the audience and Professor Vivek Ranjan Sinha Dean of University Instruction, Panjab University, Chandigarh presided over the event. 

The session evoked a huge response among the audience evident by an extensive interactive session which lasted for more than one hour. All the inquisitive questions by the panelists and participants were humbly answered by Professor Walter.

The SC/ST Cell Panjab University Chandigarh and the Centre for Medical Physics, Panjab University while commemorating the 130th birth anniversary of Babasaheb Dr. B. R. Ambedkar ,organized a special online lecture on Contribution of Babasaheb Dr. B. R. Ambedkar towards Education for an Egalitarian Society ,today.

Sh. Vijay Sampla, Chairman of National Commission for Scheduled Castes (NCSC) remembered the contributions of Dr. Ambedkar who worked tirelessly for the establishment of an egalitarian society. He stressed upon the role of education to uplift the marginalized sections of the society as advised by Babasaheb throughout his life. He cited the role of ancient literature in the development of modern society and also correlated the contributions of Babasaheb in taking India on the path of progress inclusively. He discussed the role of education for the development of modern society by citing the example of Babasaheb.  Sh. Vijay Sampla expressed his commitment towards work in the capacity of a new responsibility as a Chairman of the National Commission for Scheduled Castes. He shared his plan to clear approximately 67000 pending cases on priority basis within six months.  He also shared with the participants that the commission has already started an online portal to register different kinds of issues and grievances of the concerned. He appreciated the organizers for the conduct of this webinar to disseminate the ideas of Babasaheb.
