पंचकूला, 13 नवंबर- जिला में खरीफ सीजन 2021-22 में सरकारी खरीद एजंसियों द्वारा धान की खरीद का कार्य सुचारू रूप से चल रहा है। अब तक जिला की तीन मंडियों में 86670 मीट्रिक टन धान की खरीद की गई है, जिसमें से 54100 मीट्रिक टन हैफेड द्वारा तथा 32570 मीट्रिक टन हरियाणा वेयरहाउसिंग कॉरपोरेशन द्वारा खरीदी गई है। अब तक तीनों अनाजमंडियों में 84934 मीट्रिक टन धान का उठान किया जा चुका है।
इस संबंध में जानकारी देते हुए उपायुक्त श्री विनय प्रताप सिंह ने बताया कि खरीफ सीजन 2021-22 में जिला में दो सरकारी खरीद एजंसियों द्वारा धान की खरीद की जा रही है।
उन्होंने बताया कि अब तक पंचकूला अनाज मंडी में 8750 मीट्रिक टन धान की खरीद की गई है जिसमें से 1490 मीट्रिक टन हरियाणा वेयरहाउसिंग कॉर्पोरेशन द्वारा तथा 7260 मीट्रिक टन हैफेड द्वारा खरीद की गई है। इसी प्रकार बरवाला अनाज मंडी में 44320 मीट्रिक टन धान की खरीद की गई है जिसमें से 19780 मीट्रिक टन हरियाणा वेयरहासिंग कार्पोरेशन द्वारा व 24540 मीट्रिक टन हैफेड द्वारा खरीद की गई। उन्होंने बताया कि रायपुररानी अनाज मंडी में अब तक 33600 मीट्रिक टन धान की खरीद की गई है जिसमें से 11300 मीट्रिक टन हरियाणा वेयरहाउसिंग कॉर्पोरेशन द्वारा तथा 22300 मीट्रिक टन हैफेड द्वारा खरीद की गई है।
उन्होंने बताया कि तीनों मंडियों द्वारा अब तक 84934 मीट्रिक टन धान का उठान किया जा चुका है, जिसमें से पंचकूला अनाजमंडी में 8361 मीट्रिक टन धान का उठान किया गया है। 1401 मीट्रिक टन हरियाणा वेयरहाउसिंग कॉरपोरेशन व 6960 मीट्रिक टन हैफेड द्वारा धान का उठान किया गया है। इसी प्रकार बरवाला अनाजमंडी में 43580 मीट्रिक टन धान का उठान हुआ हैं, जिसमें से 19490 मीट्रिक टन धान का उठान हरियाणा वेयरहाउसिंग कॉरपोरेशन द्वारा व 24090 मीट्रिक टन उठान हैफेड द्वारा किया गया है। उन्होंने बताया कि रायपुररानी अनाजमंडी में 32993 मीट्रिक टन धान का उठान हुआ है, जिसमें 11113 मीट्रिक टन धान का उठान हरियाणा वेयरहाउसिंग कॉरपोरेशन द्वारा व 21880 मीट्रिक टन उठान हैफेड द्वारा किया गया है।

पंचकूला, 13 नवंबर- ‘रोमांसिंग लाइफ’ वीके कपूर रिटायर्ड आईपीएस द्वारा लिखी गई पुस्तक का आज चंडीगढ़ के सेक्टर 27, प्रेस क्लब में हरियाणा विधानसभा अध्यक्ष श्री ज्ञानचंद गुप्ता ने मुख्य अतिथि के रूप में पुस्तक का विमोचन किया। इस अवसर पर सीनियर आईएएस अधिकारी सुमिता मिश्रा भी उनके साथ थे
पूर्व राज्यपाल जनरल भूपेंद्र सिंह, जस्टिस जसबीर सिंह, जस्टिस आर के नेहरू और रिटायर्ड आईएएस विवेक अत्रे भी उपस्थित थे।
इस अवसर पर वी के कपूर की पत्नी मीरा कपूर और उनकी बेटी गोपी साहनी भी उनके साथ थी।
इस अवसर पर अपने संबोधन में हरियाणा विधानसभा अध्यक्ष ने कहा कि कपूर साहब से मेरा 10-12 साल पुराना परिचय रहा है जब उन्होंने पंचकूला में सोशल एक्टिविटी की शुरुआत की, पंचकूला में मुझे किसी भी प्रकार की सलाह लेनी होती थी तो मैं कपूर जी के पास जाकर उनका मार्गदर्शन लेता था, कपूर साहब मेरे प्रेरणा के स्रोत रहे हैं उन्होंने जिस भी फील्ड में काम किया है उसी में अपनी अमिट छाप छोड़ी है और अपनी ड्यूटी और अपनी जिंदगी में बेहद संजीदगी के साथ काम किया है और समय-समय पर उन्होंने अनुशासन में रहने का एक बड़ा संदेश पुलिस और समाज में दिया है श्री गुप्ता ने कहा कि चंडीगढ़, पंचकूला आज पूरी तरह से हरियाली से भरपूर है और दिल्ली मुंबई और कोलकाता जैसे महानगरों से लोग चंडीगढ़, पंचकूला में रहना पसंद करते हैं। मैं वीके कपूर साहब की लंबी आयु और उनके अच्छे स्वास्थ्य की कामना करता हूं और पूरे परिवार को किताब के विमोचन पर शुभकामनाएं बधाई देता हूं।
इस अवसर पर श्रीमती सुमिता मिश्रा सीनियर आईएएस अधिकारी ने बताया कि मुझे वी के कपूर जी से बहुत कुछ सीखने को मिला मैं जब नई-नई आईएस भर्ती हुई थी जब वी के कपूर जी मुख्यमंत्री सिक्योरिटी में एसपी थे और उनसे मैने बहुत कुछ सीखा और पंजाबी अंदाज में वह हमें बताया करते थे और उसके बाद जब पाकिस्तान गए और पाकिस्तान से लौटने के बाद उन्होंने काफी अनुभव हमसे सांझा किए और और उनसे हमें सीखने को बहुत मिला है, कपूर साहब बहुत डिसिप्लिनरी अधिकारी रहे हैं, उन्होंने अपने साथ सभी लोगों को बहुत कुछ सीखने का मौका दिया है श्रीमती मिश्रा ने कहा कि बड़े लोग वो होते हैं जो किसी को छोटा नहीं समझते और कपूर साहब ने अपने पास आए हुए छोटे लोगो को भी बड़ा समझ कर उनको बहुत सी सीख दी है। उन्होंने कहा कि यह बुक आगाज है अंजाम नहीं हमें कपूर साहब की ओर किताबों के माध्यम से आने वाले समय में बहुत कुछ सीखने का मौका मिलेगा।
वी के कपूर रिटायर्ड आईपीएस ने इस अवसर पर बोलते हुए कहा कि पाकिस्तान, अफगानिस्तान, इजराइल, और कई देशों में जाने का मुझे मौका मिला है मैंने वहां से बहुत कुछ सीखा और मैं ऐसा मानता हूं कि वही जिंदादिल और अच्छे इंसान हैं जो दूसरो को अनुशासन और अनुशासनात्मक तरीके से जीने की शिक्षा का पाठ पढ़ाते है।
रिटायर्ड आईएस विवेक अत्रे ने भी वीके कपूर साहब से अपने यादों को सांझा करते हुए कहा कि वीके कपूर साहब एक जिंदादिल और अच्छे इंसान है, उनकी किताब जिंदगी के अनुभव का निचोड़ है। बहुत कम लोगों में इस तरह की खूबियां होती हैं मुझे कई आईपीएस और आईएएस अधिकारियों के साथ काम करने का मौका मिला लेकिन जो खूबियां कपूर साहब में थी वह खूबियां बहुत कम लोगों में देखने को मिली।

Chandigarh, November 13:- Sh. Banwarilal Purohit, Hon’ble Governor, Punjab and Administrator, Chandigarh today laid the foundation stone of 24×7 water supply project at Manimajra in the presence of Smt. Kirron Kher, MP-Chandigarh (Virtually).
While addressing the gathering, the Governor said that the vision of Municipal Corporation is to make and maintain the city beautiful in livability, sustainability, equality and innovation parameters along with providing the best urban experience to its residents. I have noticed that the residents of Chandigarh are quite aware and play a vital role in shaping and defining the vision and targets for the city.
He said that the citizens of Manimajra will highly benefit from this 24×7 Water Supply Project as continuous water supply system will provide better water quality and households will get better pressure of water sufficient to fill tanks up to third storey so pumping costs will also decrease.
He appreciated the Chandigarh Municipal Corporation to work so active and committed for taking various steps to improve the basic upkeep besides ensuring the availability of civic amenities in each sector.
The Governor said that public participation is must in understanding the issues, recognizing the areas requiring improvement and evolving strategies for future planning and the Municipal Corporation always seeks and considers public opinion, suggestive measures from the citizens and tries to implement their ideas in best possible manner.
He congratulated the Mayor and councilors, the Commissioner and her team of officers for taking up these people centric steps in the larger public interest and wish them all success in future endeavors. The Governor asked the concerned officers of Chandigarh Administration and Municipal Corporation Chandigarh to speed up the work of this project and complete this in stipulated time frame.
Smt. Kirron Kher, Member Parliament, UT, Chandigarh said that as public representatives the councillors are entrusted with a bigger role and responsibility by the residents of Chandigarh and they are doing justice with that by providing better infrastructure and improving the basic amenities.
She said that in 2014, she raised the concern over the release additional water supply line from Bhakhra main line in the parliament and after crossing many hurdles, Chandigarh got the additional water supply line. She said with this pilot project started in Manimjara, the residents will get their long pending demand fulfilled.
Sh. Ravi Kant Sharma, Mayor said that the primary goal of the project is switching from intermittent supply to 24×7 continuous pressurized supply system citing health, hygiene and water saving benefits.
The Mayor said that the major components to be carried out in this project are including new Water Works to improve water pressures in the area. He said that this Project will involve new water works with 4 Million Gallon of additional storage, 13700 smart meters, 20 km of new lines, Automated monitoring of system through SCADA. All 37 Tubewells will be phased out 100% water supply will be shifted to surface water.
Speaking on the occasion, Sh. Dharam Pal, IAS, Adviser to the Administrator, Chandigarh highlighted other crucial projects being carried out by Chandigarh Smart City Limited such as the ‘Im Chandigarh (I am Chandigarh)’ app, Integrated Command & Control center (ICCC) and Public Bike Sharing (PBS) system.
He said that Smart city mission Launched by Government of India has 35 projects funded by Smart cities mission. Chandigarh has almost 90 percent of Projects that benefit city as a whole. 24×7 water supplies is being carried out in Manimajra at Rs 162 crores including cost of 15 years Operation &Maintenance, the work is expected to be completed by Aug 2023.
Earlier, the area councilor Sh. Jagtar Singh Jagga thanked all the dignitaries and local residents for being part of this big project for Manimajra. He said that with this project the residents of Manimajra will get upgraded water supply and better quality of water.

उपायुक्त अनीश यादव ने बताया कि कृषि तथा किसान कल्याण विभाग द्वारा जिले में वर्ष 2021-22 के दौरान फसल अवशेष प्रबंधन स्टेट प्लान (एसबी-82) स्कीम के अंतर्गत बेलर द्वारा पराली के बंडल/गांठ बनाकर पराली प्रबंधन करने वाले धान के किसानों को अधिकतम एक हजार रुपये प्रति एकड़ या 50 रुपये प्रति क्विंटल (20 क्विंटल प्रति एकड़ पराली मानते हुए) प्रोत्साहन राशि दी जाएगी। उन्होंने बताया कि योजना का लाभ लेने के लिए किसानों का पोर्टल पर पंजीकरण अनिवार्य है। किसानों द्वारा पराली की गांठ बेचकर रसीद प्रस्तुत करनी होगी या पंचायत जमीन पर गांठे इक_ी करने का पंचायत द्वारा प्रमाण-पत्र प्रस्तुत करना होगा। किसानों द्वारा ऑनलाइन पोर्टल एग्रीहरियाणासीआरएमडॉटकोम पर पराली की गांठ/बेल के उचित निष्पादन हेतु पंजीकरण करना होगा जिसमें कुल धान का रकबा, प्रबंधन रकबा, खाता नंबर आदि दर्ज करने होगें।

जिला उद्यान अधिकारी रघुबीर सिंह झोरड़ ने बताया कि राजकीय बाग एवं नर्सरी सिरसा में बेर (2 एकड़) व खाली भूमि (1.5 एकड़) की नीलामी की जाएगी। उन्होंने बताया कि प्रत्येक बोलीदाता को 10 हजार रुपये की अग्रिम राशि बोली से पहले जमा करानी होगी। यह राशि सफल बोलीदाता की प्रथम किस्त में समायोजित कर दी जाएगी तथा असफल बोलीदाता को यह राशि वापिस लौटा दी जाएगी। उन्होंने बताया कि बोली छोड़ने व रद्द करने का अधिकार केवल उद्यान विभाग को ही होगा। अन्य शर्तें मौके पर सुनाई जाएगी। बोली राजकीय बाग एवं नर्सरी सिरसा के प्रांगण में की जाएगी।

National Service Scheme in collaboration with the Centre for Medical Physics organized special lecture on “Malaria and Dengue” by Dr. Rupinder Kaur, CMO, Panjab University.
She explained origin and about Malaria and Dengue in a simple way. She also appraised that in some patients, it can cause serious complications like hemorrhagic fever, which can damage the lymph and blood vessels and can cause high fever and circulatory system failure. It is important to stay under medical supervision during the course of the disease.
Dr. Vivek Kumar, Chairperson, CMP gave vote of thanks and inspired students for tomorrow’s rally for awareness about vector borne diseases in the Panjab University Campus. NSS Programm Officer Dr. Simran Preet (Biophysics) was also present during the event.

Prof. Ashwini Kaul (Co-ordinater, National Service Scheme, Panjab University, Chandigarh) motivated the students with his inspirational words at the lnaugural Ceremony.
Mr. Neil Robert (Chief Coordinator DLSA Chandigarh) made the students aware about the upcoming Projects related to Transgenders and Legal Services to Public, Mr. A. J. Jawad, Mediator, Tamil Nadu Mediation and Conciliation Center made the students aware about the Alternative Dispute Redressal Mechanism and Conducted a highly informative and Interactive session with the students.
The Volunteers of these Society presented their Modules on NALSA Schemes and Students of Final year presented their Video for the purpose of Awareness Drive.
The event was conducted under the guidance of the teacher coordinator of Legal Aid society and National Service Scheme , Dr. Amita Verma, Dr.Karan Dhillon and Dr. Anupam Bhari.
