A colourful event organised by MCC at Cactus Garden Ramdarbar

Chandigarh, August 18: – The Municipal Corporation Chandigarh has organized the colourful Teej festival with great zeal in the Cactus Garden, Ramdarbar, here today. Smt. Kirron Kher, Member Parliament, UT, Chandigarh was the chief guest during the cultural programme. Sh. Rajesh Kumar, Mayor, Chandigarh, Sh. K.K. Yadav, IAS, Commissioner, Smt. Sunita Dhawan, Chairperson, Arts, Culture & Sports committee, Sh. Bharat Kumar, area councilor, other councilors & officers of MCC and prominent personalities of area were present during the programme.

The function was marked with Punjabi, Haryanvi, Rajasthani, folk dances, songs, fusion of Giddha & Bhangra and Teeian de Geet by famous artists. The audience present in the Mela could not stop themselves to dance on the foot-tapping beats of “Dhol” and popular Punjabi numbers. The Member Parliament stressed upon the necessity to perpetuate cultural values among the masses especially in younger generation. She also enlightened the gathering about the social, religious and historical significance of the Teej Festival.

While addressing the gathering the Mayor said that MCC has made this Mela as an annual feature. He said that people of Chandigarh should know about their rich culture and we the Municipal Corporation are making small effort to gather the precious traditional festivals like Teej. Earlier, Smt. Sunita Dhawan welcomed the Chief Guest and other dignitaries and honoured the chief guest with giving traditional fulkari to her. The chief guest took a round in the Mela in the Cactus Garden.

Sh. K.K. Yadav, IAS, Commissioner lauded the efforts of MCC team organising the Teej event despite the continues rain and arranged beautiful function in the evening by displaying village profile, cultural programmes on stage and traditional peengan. He also appriciated the dedication of the area councillor Sh. Bharat Kumar not only for this programme but also his tireless efforts for the developmental works in his ward.

Other attractions of the Mela was including camel rides, Dholi, Madari, Charkhe, Manjire, Tumbe, Jamura Show, puppet show, Magic show by famous magician Pardeep, different stalls of Govt. schemes awareness etc. The stage was decorated with colourful lights and traditional “Jhandian” flags. East meets West as the streets fill with musical sounds, with everything from traditional folk, beats of Dhol and Teej diya Bolliyan to fusion of Giddha and Bhangra.

Various famous artists including Jaspreet Jassal, Jagjit Singh, Soniya and other enthralled the audience with Punjabi folk, sufi and Teej traditional numbers.

मुसलाधार बारिश भी नहीं रोक पाई मुख्यमंत्री के प्रति जनता का उत्साह

मुख्यमंत्री श्री मनोहरलाल के नेतृत्व में आज कालका सब्जी मंडी से जन आशीर्वाद यात्रा का भव्य आगाज हुआ। इस यात्रा को केंद्रीय रक्षामंत्री राजनाथ सिंह ने झंडी दिखाकर रवाना किया। ढोल नगाड़ों, शंखनाद और हजारों की संख्या में उपस्थित लोगों ने पुष्पवर्षा करके इस यात्रा का गर्मजोशी से स्वागत किया। कालका से 18 अगस्त को आरंभ हुई यह यात्रा प्रदेश के सभी 90 विधानसभा क्षेत्रों से गुजरेगी और 8 सितंबर को रोहतक में इस यात्रा के समापन पर प्रधानमंत्री श्री नरेंद्र मोदी स्वयं प्रदेशवासियों को संबोधित करेंगे।

मुख्यमंत्री श्री मनोहरलाल ने इस यात्रा के आरंभ होने से पूर्व कालका में श्री काली माता मंदिर में पूजा अर्चना की और मंदिर के साथ स्थित पहली पातशही गुरुद्वारा में भी नत्-मस्तक हुए। मंदिर प्रबंधन की ओर से उन्हें विजयीभव का आशीर्वाद दिया गया जबकि गुरुद्वारा साहिब में सिक्ख समाज के प्रतिनिधियों ने मुख्यमंत्री को शिरोपा और कृपाण भेंट करके उनकी जन आशीर्वाद यात्रा की सफलता की कामना की। इस पूजा अर्चना के दौरान मुख्यमंत्री के साथ केंद्रीय जलशक्ति एवं सामाजिक न्याय राज्य मंत्री रतनलाल कटारिया, हरियाणा के कृषि एवं किसान कल्याण मंत्री ओम प्रकाश धनखड़, शहरी स्थानीय निकाय मंत्री श्रीमती कविता जैन, स्थानीय विधायक श्रीमती लतिका शर्मा, भाजपा की प्रदेश उपाध्यक्ष श्रीमती बंतो कटारिया तथा श्रीमाता मनसा देवी श्राईन बोर्ड के पदाधिकारी व स्थानीय भाजपा नेता उपस्थित रहे। 

देवभूमि हिमाचल प्रदेश के द्वार कालका से आरंभ हुई जनआशीर्वाद यात्रा पिंजौर, अमरावती, चंडीमंदिर, माजरी चौंक, श्री नाडा साहिब, रामगढ़, बरवाला, मौली, रायुपररानी व जिले के अंतिम गांव प्यारेवाला से होते हुए अंबाला जिला के नारायणगढ़ विधानसभा क्षेत्र में प्रवेश की जो नारायणगढ से यमुनानगर के सढोरा विधानसभा क्षेत्र में दाखिल हुई। कालका से लेकर जिला के अंतिम गांव प्यारेवाला तक सड़क के दोनो ओर लोगों का हजूम देखने को मिला और वर्षा की परवाह किये बिना लोग मुख्यमंत्री को सुनने के लिये खड़े रहे। मुख्यमंत्री ने हर पडाव पर लोगों को संबोधित किया और उनसे हाथ खड़े करके विधानसभा में भाजपा को समर्थन देने का अनुरोध किया। उपस्थित लोगों ने भी भारत माता की जय, फिर एक बार मनोहर सरकार, अबकी बार 75 पार के गगनभेदी नारों से मुख्यमंत्री को समर्थन का आशीर्वाद दिया। 

मुख्यमंत्री ने अलग अलग स्थानों पर लोगों से पूछा कि क्या वे सरकार के पिछले पांच वर्षों के कार्यकाल से खुश है या नहीं। लोगों ने हाथ खड़े कर अपनी खुशी  और सहमति का इजहार किया। मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि उन्होंने सरकार बदलने की बजाय व्यवस्था परिवर्तन के प्रयास किये, जिससे गरीब से गरीब व्यक्ति तक सरकारी योजनाओं का लाभ पंहुचा है। ऑन लाईन व्यवस्था से काफी हद भ्रष्टाचार पर अंकुश लगा है और सरकार की कार्यप्रणाली में पारदर्शीता आई है। ये बात केवल मैं स्वयं ही नहीं प्रदेश का हर व्यक्ति कह रहा है। उन्होंने कहा कि पिछले पांच वर्षों में शहरी और ग्रामीण क्षेत्र का अभूतपूर्व विकास किया है लेकिन अभी और अधिक प्रयास करने बाकी है। उन्होंने कहा कि कालका विधानसभा क्षेत्र में इस अवधि में 800 करोड. रुपये और पंचकूला प्रदेश का जो एक महत्वपूर्ण नया जिला है, के विकास पर लगभग 2000 करोड़ रुपये की राशि खर्च की गई है। 

उन्होंने कहा कि जनता का आशीर्वाद लेकर वे आगामी कार्यकाल में पंचकूला को मौहाली से ज्यादा विकसित करेंगे और इस जिले को विकास की नई बुलंदियों पर ले जायेंगे। उन्होंने पंचकूला में 160 करोड़ रुपये की लागत से बन रहे राष्ट्रीय फैंशन डिजाईंिनग संस्थान, मनसा देवी काम्पलैक्स में 500 करोड़ रुपये की लागत से बनाये जा रहे आयुर्वेंदिक संस्थान और माजरी चौंक से यमुनानगर तक 611 करोड़ रुपये की लागत से बनाये जा रहे चार मार्गिंय राष्ट्रीय राजमार्ग जैसी परियोनाओं का जिक्र भी किया। 

उन्होंने रायपुररानी में युवाओं द्वारा ढोल नगाडों के साथ किये गये स्वागत का आभार व्यक्त करते हुए कहा कि सरकार के आगामी कार्यकाल में उनका फोक्स युवाओं को अधिक से अधिक रोजगार देने पर रहेगा। उन्होंने सभी कार्यक्रमों में कहा कि विधायक ज्ञानचंद गुप्ता और कालका विधायक लतिका शर्मा ने क्षेत्र के लिये जो भी मांग रखी, उन्होंने उसे विशेष प्राथमिकता पर पूरा किया। 

मुख्यमंत्री के साथ रथ पर भाजपा के प्रदेशाध्यक्ष सुभाष बराला, केंद्रीय राज्यमंत्री रतनालाल कटारिया, परिवहन मंत्री कृष्णलाल पंवार, भाजपा के हरियाणा प्रभारी अनिल जैन, सामाजिक न्याय एवं अधिकारिता राज्मंत्री  कृष्ण कुमार बेदी, विधायक एवं मुख्यसचेतक ज्ञानचंद गुप्ता, विधायक लतिका शर्मा, भाजपा के जिलाध्यक्षक दीपक शर्मा, मुख्यमंत्री के मीडिया सलाहकार राजीव जैन व अमित आर्य और भाजपा के अन्य पदाधिकारी भी उपस्थित थे।

इस जनआशीर्वाद यात्रा का रुबि भगत सिंह, विशाल सेठ, हरेंद्र मलिक, नवीन गर्ग, कुलभूषण गोयल, संजय शर्मा, कृष्ण ढुल, वीरेंद्र भावु, बलजिंद्र गोयल सहित भाजपा के अन्य पदाधिकारियों, सरंपचों और महिलाओं और पुरूषों ने स्वागत किया।

झलकियां मुख्यमंत्री श्री मनोहरलाल ने जन आशीर्वाद यात्रा से पहले कालका में श्री काली माता मंदिर में महामाई और गुरुद्वारा साहिब में आशीर्वाद लिया।

 सब्जी मंडी कालका में भारी वर्षा के बावजूद हजारों की संख्या में क्षेत्रवासियों की उपस्थिति से केंद्रीय मंत्री राजनाथ सिंह और मुख्यमंत्री सहित सभी नेता हुए गदगद।

 मंडी परिसर में ढोल नगाड़ों, विभिन्न प्रदेशों के वाद्य यंत्रों और शंखनाद से पूरा वातावरण हुआ जोशिला।

 केंद्रीय रक्षमंत्री राजनाथ सिंह ने मुख्यमंत्री श्री मनोहरलाल को बताया फकीर, ऐसा फकीर जो अपनी चिंता करने की बजाय दिन रात प्रदेशवासियों के लिये काम करता है।

 राजनाथ सिंह ने कहा कि 2014 में भाजपा बिना मुख्यमंत्री के चेहरे को विधानसभा चुनावों में उतरी थी और इस बार स्वच्छ छवि के श्री मनोहरलाल मुख्यमंत्री का चेहरा होगें।

 पिछले दो दिनों से हो रही मुसलाधार बारिश के बावजूद जिलावासियों ने जनआशीर्वाद यात्रा को जनता का भरपूर समर्थन मिला।

 कालका से लेकर रायुपररानी तक वर्षा के बीच भी लोग सडको के दोनों ओर मुख्यमंत्री को सुनने के लिये डटे रहे।

 मुख्यमंत्री ने भी कार्यकर्ताओं पर फूलमालाएं व पुष्पवर्षा करके उनके उत्साह में वृद्धि की।

 मुख्यमंत्री के आग्रह पर हर पड़ाव पर बड़ी संख्या में उपस्थित लोगों ने हाथ उठाकर विधानसभा चुनावों में आशीर्वाद देने का भरोसा दिलाया।

जिला के जिन किसानों ने इन-सीटू कोप रेजीडयू मैनेजमेंट स्कीम व स्मैम स्कीम के तहत कृषि यंत्रों पर अनुदान हेतू आवेदन किया था वे कियान 19 अगस्त तक अपने दस्तावेज जमा करवा कर अनुदान प्रमाण पत्र प्राप्त कर सकते हैं।

जिला के जिन किसानों ने इन-सीटू कोप रेजीडयू मैनेजमेंट स्कीम व स्मैम स्कीम के तहत कृषि यंत्रों पर अनुदान हेतू आवेदन किया था वे कियान 19 अगस्त तक अपने दस्तावेज जमा करवा कर अनुदान प्रमाण पत्र प्राप्त कर सकते हैं। 


यह जानकारी देते हुए सहायक कृषि अभियंता जसविंद्र सिंह चौहान ने बताया कि जिला के किसानों द्वारा केन्द्र सरकार की नई इन-सीटू कोप रेजीडयू मैनेजमेंट स्कीम व स्मैम स्कीम के तहत किसानों द्वारा विभाग की वैबसाईट पर ऑनलाईन आवेदन किया गया था। उन्होंने बताया कि किसानों द्वारा उक्त योजनाओं के तहत सुपर स्ट्रा मैनेजमेंट सिस्टम (एसएमएस), हैप्पी सीडर, शर्ब मास्टर / कट्टर कम स्प्रेडर, पैडी स्ट्रा चौपर /श्रेडर/मल्चर, रिर्वेसिबल एमबी प्लो, रोटरी स्लेशर, जीरा टिल ड्रील मशीन, रोटावेटर, स्ट्रा-बेलर, रीपर बाइंडर, पैडी ट्रांस्प्लांटर, मल्टीक्रॉप प्लाटर, हे-रैक, डीएसआर कृषि यंत्रों के लिए ऑनलाईन आवेदन किया गया था।

उन्होंने बताया कि किसान 19 अगस्त तक अपने दस्तावेज आवेदित कृषि यंत्र के दस्तावेज, आनलाईन फार्म, आधार कार्ड, बैंक खाता की फोटो प्रति, पैन कार्ड, वैद्य ट्रैक्टर की आरसी, जमीन की पटवारी द्वारा की गई रिपोर्ट, वोटर कार्ड, अनुसूचित जाति का प्रमाण पत्र (अगर उस जाति से सम्बंध रखता हो), दो पासपोर्ट फोटो जमा करवाए। उन्होंने बताया कि दस्तावेजों के निरीक्षण के उपरांत ड्रा निकाला जाएगा। उन्होंने बताया कि ड्रा के लिए वहीं आवेदन स्वीकार्य होंगे जिनके दस्तावेज विभागीय दिशा निर्देशों के अनुसार होंगे। उन्होंने बताया कि लक्ष्यों से अधिक आवेदनों का चयन ड्रा/लाटरी के माध्यम से किया जाएगा।


उन्होंने बताया कि एक किसान लाभार्थी अधिकतम 3 विभिन्न प्रकार के कृषि यंत्र (प्रत्येक एक) के लिए अनुदान का पात्र है। प्रत्येक कृषि यंत्र पर उपलब्ध अनुदान भारत सरकार द्वारा निर्धारित किए गए अधिकतम मूल्य का 50 प्रतिशत अथवा भारत सरकार द्वारा निर्धारित अधिकतम अनुदान राशि (जो कम हो) देय होगी। इन उपकरणों की खरीद कृषि तथा किसान कल्याण मंत्रालय भारत सरकार द्वारा अधिकृत तथा सूचिबद्ध कृषि यंत्र निर्माताओं से करनी अनिवार्य है।

Chandigarh, August 17:- A meeting of sanitation committee of Municipal Corporation Chandigarh was held here today under the Chairmanship of Sh. Shakti Parkash Devshali, which was attended by members  namely Sh. Hardeep singh, Sh. Bharat kumar, Sh. Mahesh Inder singh, Smt. Heera Negi, Smt. Ravinder Kaur and concerned officers of MCC. During the meeting following issues regarding sanitation discussed:

–         Horticultural waste be cleaned daily basis.

–         Back service lane be checked and cleaned daily and garbage be lifted on daily basis.

–         Grass in the road berms be cut on regular basis.

–         Dustbins be checked and cleaned regularly.

–         Ward wise sanitation drives be organized to check problem regarding garbage.

–         Area sanitation inspectors should check their wards on regular basis.

–         Strict action be taken against the violators of littering.

–         Cow dung be cleaned near community center Ramdarbar on regular basis.

–          Unauthorized meet Shops be checked and removed from the roads sides.

–         The committee resolved to purchase 2 Tata Ace vehicles for cattles catching Squad.

–         Tranquilizer guns will be purchased for catching animals on trial basis.

–         To increase the ranking of Swachh Survekshan continuous cleanliness drives be organised throughout the city.

–         Swachh Survekshan awareness campaigns in the schools and colleges be organised regularly.- Steps will  be taken to discourage use of polythene bags and a market will  be chosen to start Pilot Project. Shopkeepers will  be requested to display boards about ‘Don’t ask for Polythene bags’.- Awareness about ‘Dustbin on wheels’.  All the vehicle owners will be requested to carry small dustbins in their cars so that the do ‘t throw their waste on streets.- An undertaking will be taken from all organizers of social and public functions to ensure cleaning work after every community event.- All the newly wedding couples will be requested to pledge that they will segregate the waste at source and buckets will be distributed in Community Centres at the time of marriage.- School children will be made Brand Ambassadors of cleanliness to ensure cleanliness in the neighbourhood.

उपायुक्त श्री मुकेश कुमार आहुजा ने आज कालका का दौरा करके 18 अगस्त के केन्द्रीय रक्षा मंत्री श्री राजनाथ सिंह और मुख्यमंत्री श्री मनोहर लाल के कार्यक्रमों में सुरक्षा व यातायात प्रबन्धों का जायजा लिया। उन्होंने श्री काली माता मन्दिर कालका क्षेत्र का भी दौरा किया। उनके साथ पुलिस उपायुक्त दीपक गहलावत, अतिरिक्त उपायुक्त उत्तम सिंह, नगराधीश गगनदीप सिंह व अन्य अधिकारी उपस्थित रहें।

उपायुक्त ने अधिकारियों को सुरक्षा व यातायात के समूचित प्रबन्ध करने के निर्देश दिए। उन्होनें केन्द्रीय रक्षा मंत्री व मुख्यमंत्री के आने व जाने के रूट को लेकर भी अधिकारियों से चर्चा की। उन्होंने कहा कि पार्किंग व यातायात की समूचित व्यवस्था जरूरी हैं। उन्होंने पार्किंग इत्यादि के लिए निर्धारित स्थानों का भी जायजा लिया।

उन्होनें बताया कि यह यात्रा कालका से आरम्भ होकर पिंजौर, माजरी चौंक, नाडा साहिब, बरवाला और रायपुरानी होते हुए यमुनानगर जिला में प्रवेश करेगी। मुख्यमंत्री 8 सितम्बर तक प्रदेश के सभी 90 विधानसभा क्षेत्रों में इस यात्रा के माध्यम से जनता का आर्शीवाद ग्रहण करेगें।

Commissioner visits village Burail; asks engineers to remove encroachments from market areas

Chandigarh, August 16:- Sh. K.K. Yadav, IAS, Commissioner, Municipal Corporation Chandigarh today visited ward No. 14 i.e. sector 45 and village Burail accompanied by Sh. Kanwarjeet Singh Rana, Deputy Mayor and area councilor and all concerned officers of engineering wing, MCC.

During the visit the Commissioner directed the concerned engineers to remove broken railing from the dividing of phirni road in village burial. He asked the public health engineers to prepare the estimate of sewerage & storm water disposal system in the village and put up for approval immediately.

The Commissioner directed the concerned officers of public health wing to make the tubewell functional at the earliest. He asked them to start miner repair works in the village immediately and prepare estimates for major repair works required in the village.

He directed the engineers to remove the encroachments from the market area including ramps built by the shopkeepers in the varmdahs.

MCC impounds 15 dumped cars from Burail

Chandigarh August 16:- The Municipal Corporation today carried out a special anti encroachment drive at Burail. As per the direction of Sh. K.K. Yadav, IAS, Commissioner, MCC, the enforcement team issued total 57 challans and impounded 15 dumped cars, 2 motorcycle and  one water tanker from the phirni road of village Burail.

       The MCC warned the encroachers not to dump their vehicles in public land otherwise they will face strict legal action.
