पंचकूला 27 फरवरी- उपायुक्त मुकेश कुमार आहुजा ने कहा कि रोड सेफ्टी से जुडे हुए अधिकारी यातायात नियमों की जानकारी आम नागरिकों को देने के लिए जिला में ट्रेफिक पार्क विकसित करने हेतू स्थल का चयन करें।

उपायुक्त लघु सचिवालय के सभागार में रोड सेफ्टी कमेटी की बैठक की अध्यक्षता कर रहे थे। उन्होंने कहा कि यातायात नियमों की जानकारी प्रत्येक नागरिक को होनी चाहिए। यदि नियमों की जानकारी होगी तो वेे उनका सही पालन करेंगे। यातायात नियमों का पालन करने से दुर्घटनाएं कम होती है। इसलिए पंचकूला में ट्रेफिक पार्क विकसित करने के लिए रोड सेफ्टी एसोसिएट, एसीपी व लोक निर्माण विभाग के अधिकारियों के साथ लोकेशन का चयन करें।

उपायुक्त ने कहा कि सुरक्षित स्कूल वाहन पोलिसी के तहत गत माह के दौरान 420 बसों का निरीक्षण किया गया जिसमें से 7 बसें नियमानुसार सही नही पाई गई। उन्हें पूरी करने के निर्देश दिए गए। उन्होंने कहा कि एक बस में क्षमता से अधिक बच्चे बैठाए हुए थे उस पर 50 हजार रुपए की राशि का जुर्माना किया गया। उन्होंने कहा कि जिन स्कूल बसों में कमियां पाई जाती है तो उन स्कूलों के खिलाफ कार्यवाही करने के लिए निदेशालय को लिखा जाए।

बैठक में राष्ट्रीय राज मार्ग एवं अन्य विभागों के सड़क मार्गो पर ब्लेक स्पाॅट की पहचान करने एवं अन्य स्थानों पर आवश्यकता अनुसार खराब पड़ी लाईटों को दुरूस्त करने और नई लाईटें लगाने के लिए भी विस्तार से चर्चा की गई। इसके अलावा एनएच मार्गो पर संकेत बोर्ड लगाने का कार्य शीघ्र करने के निर्देश दिए। एनएच के अधिकारियों ने बताया कि आगामी माह में एन एच मार्गो पर संकेत बोर्ड लगा दिए जाएगें।

इसके अलावा बदी रोड पर स्कूल जाॅन ट्रीटमेंट के साथ संकेत बोर्ड लगाने के लिए आवश्यक कार्यवाही अमल में लाने के भी निर्देश दिए। उन्होंने बस स्टेण्ड कालका के साथ साथ सर्विस लेन बनाने के लिए मौके का मुआयना करने के निर्देश दिए।

बैठक में डीसीपी मोहित हांण्डा, अतिरिक्त उपायुक्त मनिता मलिक, एसडीएम कालका राकेश सिंधु, एसीपी ओमप्रकाश, सीएमजीजीए रक्षित बजाज, जिला विकास एवं पंचायत दमन सिंह सहित रोड सेफ्टी से जुडे हुए कई अधिकारी मौजूद रहे।

Kirron Kher to open 48th Rose Festival on 28th February

Chandigarh, February 27:- Sh. K.K. Yadav, IAS, Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, Chandigarh said here today that the Rose Festival will be inaugurated by Smt. Kirron Kher, Member Parliament, UT, Chandigarh on 28^th February at 11.00 a.m. and various competitions will be organized throughout all three days including Flower Competition, flower hat competition, Rose Quiz, Rose Prince & Princess, Rose King and Queen, Kite flying, on the spot painting etc.

The Commissioner said that this year the Corporation has decided to dedicate the festival to Women Empowerment and Plastic Free City theme. He said that a Kiosk of Chandigarh Smart City Ltd. has also been set up in the Rose Garden this year.

He said that to make the festival live new activities have been added by creating foodpark at Sector 17 just along the underpass from Rose Garden to cater the visitors and various exhibition stalls have been planed in Sector 17 to make the area more live. He said that this time some of the competitions have been shifted to the Sector 17 area adjoining the underpass from Rose Garden including Rose Prince & Princess competition, On the Spot Competition and Musical Evenings etc.

He said that a replica of Open Hand has also been provided in the Rose Garden and in addition to that a “Selfie upload on Facebook” at Fb page Ease of Living in Chandigarh and Handle- @EolChandigarh contest will be held under Chandigarh Smart City Ltd. with attractive prizes during the event at the CSCL Kiosk.

The Commissioner said that for the ease of public this time the ticket of Helicopter Ride has been made online at https:www.shoulto.com/events/helicopter-ride-festival-chandigarh.

MCC conducts Live Band Show at Sukhna Lake about Ease of Living survey

Chandigarh, February 27:- The IEC team of Municipal Corporation Chandigarh has organized an event today to create awareness amongst the citizens regarding the Ease of Living survey at Sukhna Lake, Chandigarh.

During the event, a live band show was presented by famous artists and citizens were made aware about the Ease of Living survey. They were encouraged to fill the survey on the link- eol2019.org/citizenfeedback and give their important feedback about the Ease of Living in the city beautiful.

The survey, which is made up of 24 basic but important questions would prove helpful in understanding the perception of the citizens in regard to the Ease of Living in Chandigarh. These questions cover topics like- Women safety, Electricity supply, Transportation, Water supply, Cost of Living etc. and would help determine whether the citizens are satisfied with the services and facilities provided by the Smart city Chandigarh or not.

The survey is a great opportunity for Chandigarh to build a good image on the national level and rise up in the Ease of Living Index.

Angioplasty now safer treatment option for patients in 80-90 yrs age group

Angioplasty, with advancements in treatment of heart diseases, has become the safest option for treating ailments in elderly patients of age group 80 to 90 years. As the ageing population is on rise more patients, who had undergone bypass surgery or angioplasty 10-15 yrs ago, are now coming with new blockages in arteries/ grafts.

Dr H K Bali, Chairman Cardiac Sciences, Paras Superspeciality Hospital Panchkula said while interacting with media persons under the institution’s aim to create awareness on causes and treatments for coronary heart diseases.

Dr Kapil Chhatri Senior Consultant Cardiology and Dr Gagandeep Singh Consultant Cardiology from Paras Super Specialty Hospital, Panchkula flanked him.

With experience of more than 30 years in Cardiology and having done over 15000 cardiac interventions, Dr Bali said that while the overall population of India will grow by 40%., while population of those aged 60 and above will increase by 270 percent by 2026 year.

Sharing his experience Dr Harinder Bali said that in last 10 yrs he has performed angioplasty on over 250 patients who were in the age group of 80 -95 years and the oldest patient on whom he had performed angioplasty was 102 yrs old lady.

With the advancement in hardware and techniques of Angioplasty, now Angioplasty is possible for grafts , native vessels in patients who had under gone Angioplasty/ By pass surgery 10-15 yr back and are in age group of 80 -95 years.

He added that the results in these patients are very promising and gives them much needed respite, better health and longevity. He added that with the burgeoning ageing population, the need for better health care is felt even more and Angioplasty success in older patients addresses this need.

Speaking on this occasion Dr Kapil Chattree shared that in India, out of the estimated population of more than 130 billion dispersed across various geographical regions, about 45 million people suffer from coronary artery disease. In India heart diseases related death has risen by 34 % in last 26 years on the contrary the death rate due to cardiovascular rate declined by significantly 41 % in US between 1990 to 2016.

Speaking on the occasion Dr Gagandeep Singh said “In India, heart ailments have replaced communicable diseases as the biggest killer. According to recent data, approximately 30 percent of the urban population and 15 percent of the population living in rural areas suffer from high blood pressure and heart attacks. As the risk factors of heart ailments increase, so does the mortality rate. He added that current scenario demands an immediate emphasis be laid on preventive healthcare. As a part of this crusade, the Paras Hospital holds such media interactiona.

जनगणना-2021 के लिए चार्ज अधिकारियों को दिया प्रशिक्षण

डिजिटल तरीके से होगी जनगणना, पहले चरण में होगा मकान सूचिकरण

जनगणना-2021 को लेकर आज स्थानीय लघु सचिवालय के बैठक कक्ष में विभिन्न विभागों के चार्ज अधिकारियों की दो दिवसीय प्रशिक्षण कार्यशाला का आयोजन किया गया। कार्यशाला में जनगणना निदेशालय से हरी सिंह एवं अजय भूषण ने चार्ज अधिकारियों को प्रशिक्षण दिया।

जनगणना निदेशालय से हरी सिंह ने बताया कि हरियाणा में जनगणना-2021 के पहले चरण में मकान सूचीकरण व मकानों की गणना का कार्य किया जाएगा। यह प्रक्रिया पहली मई 2020 से 15 जून 2020 तक किया जाएगा। इस दौरान राष्टï्रीय जनसंख्या रजिस्टर भी बनाया जाएगा। द्वितीय चरण में जनसंख्या की परिगणना 9 फरवरी 2021 से 28 फरवरी 2021 तक चलेगा। इसके साथ रिविजनल राउंड 1 से 5 मार्च 2021 के बीच आयोजित किया जाएगा।

प्रशिक्षण के दौरान अधिकारियों को जनगणना-2021 के लिए अपनाई जाने वाली प्रक्रिया एवं कार्य प्रणाली के संबंध में विस्तार पूर्वक जानकारी दी गई। उन्होंने जिला अधिकारियों को जनगणना मैनेजमेंट व निगरानी सिस्टम पोर्टल पर जनगणना कर्मियों का पंजीकरण प्रशिक्षण बैंचों का सृजन, मोबाइल मोड में आंकड़े एकत्रित करने का प्रशिक्षण दिया गया। उन्होंने बताया कि मानदेय सहित अन्य सभी भुगतान सीएमएमएस पोर्टल के माध्यम से पीएफएमएस की सहायता से किए जाएंगे।

उन्होंने बताया कि पहली बार जनगणना डिजिटल मोड पर करवाई जा रही है।

उन्होंने बताया कि प्रगणकों द्वारा विशेष रुप से डिजाइन किए गए मोबाइल एप पर आंकड़े एकत्रित किए जाएंगे। उन्होंने बताया कि मोबाइल एप पर आंकड़े इक_ïे होने पर जनगणना आंकड़े समय पर जारी किए जाएंगे। जनगणना संबंधित सभी गतिविधियों और प्रगति को सीएमएमएस पोर्टल जो कि इसी कार्य के लिए विकसित और डिजाइन किया गया है।

बेटी बचाओ-बेटी पढ़ाओ अभियान व प्रधानमंत्री वंदना योजना के तहत एसडीएम डा. विनेश कुमार ने अपने कार्यालय में ब्लॉक टास्क फोर्स कमेटी की बैठक ली। एसडीएम डा. विनेश कुमार ने अधिकारियों को निर्देश दिए कि कहा जिन ग्रामीण क्षेत्रों में लिंगानुपात कम है उसे सुधारने के लिए जागरूक शिविरों का आयोजन कर ग्रामीणों को बेटी बचाओ-बेटी पढ़ाओ व प्रधानमंत्री वंदना योजना के प्रति जागरूक करें। इसके अलावा ऐसे क्षेत्रों में विशेष रूप से जागरूकता शिविरों का आयोजन करें और सरकार की योजनाओं के बारेे में विस्तार से जानकारी दें। उन्होंने कहा कि हरियाणा सरकार द्वारा महिलाओं को स्वालंबी बनाने के लिए चलाई जा रही योजनाओं के बारे में बताएं और उन योजनाओं के लाभ बारे जानकारी दें।

डा. विनेश कुमार ने कहा कि जनवरी 2019 से दिसंबर 2019 तक लिगानुपात 1033 रहा तो वहीं जनवरी 2020 में बढ़कर 1050 पहुंच गया। उन्होंने अधिकारियों को निर्देश दिए कि जिन गांवों में लिंगानुपात में सुधार नहीं आया उनमें विशेष रूप से जागरूक अभियान चलाए जाएं। उन्होंने कहा कि इसके लिए स्वास्थ्य विभाग के साथ-साथ पुलिस प्रशासन का सहयोग भी लें ताकि लिंगानुपात में तेजी से सुधार लाया जा सके। इसके अतिरिक्त आंगनवाड़ी वर्कर व सुपरवाईजर विशेष रूप से इस पर ध्यान रखें और प्रतिदिन इसकी रिपोर्ट करें।

रोजगार मेला 3 मार्च को

हरियाणा सरकार द्वारा युवाओं को रोजगार के अधिक से अधिक अवसर प्रदान करवाने के उद्देश्य से समय-समय पर रोजगार मेले लगवाए जा रहे हैं। इसी मुहीम के तहत जिला रोजगार कार्यालय सिरसा द्वारा 3 मार्च 2020 को प्रात: 10 बजे स्थानीय पुलिस लाइन स्थित कम्युनिटी हॉल में रोजगार मेेले का आयोजन किया जाएगा।

सहायक रोजगार अधिकारी पंकज ने बताया कि इस रोजगार मेले में विभिन्न कम्पनियों द्वारा प्रार्थियों का चयन मौके पर ही किया जाएगा। इस पद के लिए आवश्यक शैक्षणिक योग्यता 10वीं, 12वीं व स्नातक, आयु सीमा 18 से 35 वर्ष होनी चाहिए व अन्य जानकारी कम्पनियों द्वारा मौके पर ही दी जाएगी। इसके अतिरिक्त पंजीकृत प्रार्थियों को वित्तीय सहायता के संबंध में मेले में स्वरोजगार संबंधी सूचना भी प्रदान की जाएगी।

उन्होंने बताया कि रोजगार मेले के दिन प्रार्थी अपने साथ सभी मूल प्रमाण पत्र, उनकी फोटो प्रति, रिहायशी प्रमाण पत्र, रोजगार कार्यालय का पंजीकरण पत्र, आधार कार्ड, पैन कार्ड, बायोडाटा व पासपोर्ट साइज फोटो साथ लेकर आएं। उन्होंने बताया कि प्रार्थी का नाम रोजगार कार्यालय में पंजीकृत होना जरूरी है जिन प्रार्थियों का नाम पंजीकृत नहीं है व मेले में आना चाहते हो तो वे अपना पंजीकरण विभाग की वैबसाइट एचआरईएक्स डॉट जीओवी डॉट इन पर करवा कर अपना पंजीकरण पत्र साथ लेकर मेले में आएं। इस संबंध में अन्य कोई जानकारी के लिए जिला रोजगार कार्यालय सिरसा व दूरभाष नम्बर 01666-247443 पर विस्तृत जानकारी प्राप्त कर सकते है।

नगर परिषद सिरसा की सीमा में यदि कोई व्यक्ति खुले में पशुओं को चारा डालता पाया जाता है तो उसके विरुद्ध नियमानुसार कार्रवाई की जाएगी।

सचिव नगर परिषद गुरशरण सिंह ने बताया कि प्राय: नगर परिषद की सीमा में स्थित पशु चारा बेचने वाले खुले में हरा चारा डाल देते हैं जिसके कारण न केवल दुर्घटना होने का अंदेशा बना रहता है बल्कि शहर की स्वच्छता व्यवस्था भी प्रभावित होती है। उन्होंने हरा चारा विक्रेताओं व आमजन से आग्रह किया है कि वे हरा चारा खुले में डालने की बजाय इसे स्थानीय गौशाला / नंदीशाला में पहुंचाए। उन्होंने बताया कि यदि कोई विक्रेता खुले में हरा चारा डालता पाया जाता है तो उसके विरुद्ध नियमानुसार कानूनी कार्रवाई अमल में लाई की जाएगी।

खंड कार्यालयों में स्वच्छता सम्मेलन 3 मार्च से

राष्टï्रीय हरित प्राधिकरण (एनजीटी) के निर्देशानुसार जिला के सभी खंड कार्यालयों में 3 मार्च से 12 मार्च तक स्वच्छता सम्मेलनों का आयोजन किया जाएगा।

अतिरिक्त उपायुक्त मनदीप कौर ने बताया कि इन सभी स्वच्छता सम्मेलनों में उपायुक्त रमेश चंद्र बिढ़ान बतौर मुख्य अतिथि शिरकत करेंगे। उन्होंने बताया कि 2 मार्च को प्रात: 11 बजे से एक बजे तक खंड विकास एवं पंचायत अधिकारी कार्यालय ओढ़ां में, 3 मार्च को बीडीपीओ कार्यालय ऐलनाबाद, 4 मार्च को बीडीपीओ कार्यालय रानियां, 5 मार्च को बीडीपीओ कार्यालय डबवाली, 6 मार्च को बीडीपीओ कार्यालय बड़ागुढा, 11 मार्च को बीडीपीओ कार्यालय सिरसा तथा 12 मार्च को बीडीपीओ कार्यालय नाथूसरी चौपटा में स्वच्छता सम्मेलन का आयोजन किया जाएगा।

उन्होंने बताया कि इन स्वच्छता सम्मेलनों में ग्राम सचिव, सरपंच, पंच, आंगनवाड़ी वर्कर, नर्स, सफाई कर्मचारी, विद्यालयों के प्रधानाचार्य, मुख्यध्यापक, मनरेगा मजदूर, राजमिस्त्री, स्वयं सहायता समूह की महिलाएं, निजी चिकित्सक, रेस्टोरेंट, ढाबा, मैरिज पैलेस, धार्मिक संस्थाओं व सामाजिक संस्थाओं के प्रतिनिधियों को शामिल किया जाएगा।

on the life and works of Bhagat Puran Singh including the setting up and functioning of
the institution of Pingalwara till date. Bhagat Puran Singh she considered was “Gift to
the Earth From the Moon” which is also title of her recent publication. As per Ms
Elizabeth, Puran Singh’s life was shaped by his mother, Mehtab- the Moon right from the
time he was conceived and his upbringing later. She cited several instances to show how
Mehtab’s determination to think differently and do social good made a lasting impact on
Bhagat Puran Singh who raised resources for the post partition refugees, dejected and
under privileged in general and women and children in particular. Apart from this,
plantation of three trees- Neem, Pepal and banyan – together by Mehtab made Puran Singh
conscious of protecting environment. Like wise, the act of making Puran Singh to set
free the caged sparrows on each successive birthday sensitised him to be friendly to
animals which Mehtab felt was a pre-requisite to being people friendly.
Several other instances motivated students to take up social welfare activities in
life.

ISSER students actively participated in the interaction. The session ended with
concluding observations by Prof Swarnjit Kaur, Coordinator, PU ISSER. Dr Manish Sharma
also appreciated participation of students while Prof Nandita Shukla Singh, Dean
International Students presented a memento to the visiting speaker.
