उन्होंने बताया कि आज श्रम दान स्वच्छता अभियान में बोर्ड में कार्यरत सभी अधिकारियों/कर्मचारियो तथा सफाई के ठेकेदार के कर्मीयो कर्मचारियो ने भी बढ़ चढ कर पुरे उत्साह के साथ इस अभियान में हिस्सा लिया। इस अभियान में गुरुकुल के सदस्यो, नगर निगम, हरियाणा शहरी विकास प्राधिकरण के कर्मचारियो ने भी इस अभियान में हिस्सा लिया। स्वच्छता अभियान को सफल बनाने में भण्डारा कमेटयो द्वारा पीने के पानी छबील लगाकर व सभी के लिए खाना उपलब्ध करवाकर सहयोग किया।
उन्होंने बताया कि चांदीमाता मंदिर, काली माता मंदिर कालका में भी स्वच्छता अभियान के तहत श्रम दान किया गया जिसमें मंदिर के कर्मचारियो ओर अन्य लोगों ने मंदिर को धो कर साफ किया।

यह विचार हरियाणा सरकार के अर्थ एवं सांख्यिकी विश्लेषणविभाग के निदेशक श्री मनोज कुमार गोयल ने आज 19वें राष्ट्रीय सांख्यिकी दिवस के अवसर पर व्यक्त किए। वह पंचकूला स्थित योजना भवन में आयोजित भव्य समारोह में मुख्य अतिथि के रूप में संबोधित कर रहे थे।

श्री गोयल ने कहा कि आंकड़ों के माध्यम से हम देश और प्रदेश की प्रगति की दिशा और दशा का मूल्यांकन कर सकते हैं। यदि आंकड़ों के विश्लेषण के आधार पर किसी योजना में कमियां सामने आती हैं, तो समय रहते उनमें सुधार किया जा सकता है। उन्होंने इस बात पर विशेष बल दिया कि भारत को वर्ष 2047 तक विकसित राष्ट्र और हरियाणा को विकसित राज्य बनाने के लक्ष्य में आंकड़े एक मार्गदर्शक की भूमिका निभाएंगे। उन्होंने सभी अधिकारियों से आह्वान किया कि इस दिशा में आंकड़ों का समुचित उपयोग सुनिश्चित किया जाए।

इस अवसर पर उन्होंने भारत के महान सांख्यिकीविद् और अर्थशास्त्री प्रो. प्रशांत चंद्र माहालनोबिस को श्रद्धांजलि अर्पित की और बताया कि यह दिवस उनके उल्लेखनीय योगदान की स्मृति में मनाया जाता है। उन्हें भारत में सांख्यिकी विज्ञान का जनक माना जाता है। वर्ष 1950 में उन्होंने राष्ट्रीय प्रतिदर्श सर्वेक्षण (NSS) की स्थापना की, जिसने देश में सांख्यिकीय कार्यप्रणाली को नई दिशा प्रदान की। इस वर्ष सांख्यिकी दिवस की थीम “राष्ट्रीय प्रतिदर्श सर्वेक्षण के 75 वर्ष” रखी गई है, ताकि उनके योगदान को रेखांकित किया जा सके।

समारोह के दौरान विभाग के अनुसंधान अधिकारियों ने विभिन्न शाखाओं के कार्यों पर प्रस्तुतियाँ दीं तथा राष्ट्रीय प्रतिदर्श सर्वेक्षण की 75 वर्षों की यात्रा पर विस्तार से प्रकाश डाला। उन्होंने बताया कि यह प्रणाली सरकार की नीतियों और योजनाओं के निर्माण में उपयोगी आंकड़े प्रदान करती रही है।
इस अवसर पर विभाग के संयुक्त निदेशक जगदीश जालंधरा, उपनिदेशक महेंद्र सिंह, नरेश कुहाड़, लक्की अरोड़ा एवं जयवीर नरवाल ने भी अपने विचार साझा किए। सभी अधिकारियों एवं कर्मचारियों ने प्रो. माहालनोबिस को श्रद्धांजलि अर्पित करते हुए सांख्यिकी विज्ञान के प्रचार-प्रसार और सटीक आंकड़ों के महत्व पर बल दिया।

*Chandigarh, June 28:-* In view of the weather forecast issued by the Meteorological Department indicating possible rainfall and storm conditions in the coming days, the Municipal Corporation Chandigarh has issued a precautionary advisory for all residents and visitors of the city.

While speaking about the advisory, Sh. Amit Kumar, IAS, MC Commissioner said here today that to ensure public safety and prevent damage to life and property, the following guidelines are hereby issued:

• Avoid parking vehicles under heavy, overgrown, or old trees during adverse weather conditions.

• Refrain from standing or taking shelter under trees, particularly those that appear aged or structurally weak, during rain or strong winds.

• Limit travel and pedestrian movement along tree-lined roads during heavy rain or stormy conditions, unless absolutely necessary.

• Do not touch electric poles, streetlights, or park light fixtures as these may pose serious risks of electrocution during or after rainfall.

• Maintain a safe distance from both trees and electrical installations throughout the period of inclement weather.

*Chandigarh, June 28:-* In anticipation of the upcoming monsoon season, the Commissioner, Municipal Corporation Chandigarh Sh. Amit Kumar, IAS called a review  meeting of 18 special flood control teams here today. The MCC has also operationalized 7 flood/water-logging control rooms across the city.

These arrangements will be in force from June 20 to September 30, 2025, to ensure swift response and redressal of water-logging and rain-related emergencies.

Each control room will function 24×7 with designated teams working in three shifts. Citizens can lodge complaints regarding water-logging through the dedicated control room phone numbers.

Each control room has dedicated field teams including Field Managers (FM), Multi-Task Workers (MTW), and Public Health officials. The Public Health Officer will serve as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) in each control room, coordinating across departments.

Special Measures and Department Roles:

• 18 emergency response teams comprising officials from Public Health, B&R, Horticulture, MOH, Electrical, and Fire Department have been stationed in key sectors of the city.

• 5 water tankers with drivers will be available round-the-clock.

• Fire department personnel trained in disaster management will be stationed strategically for emergency handling.

• Barricading at collapse sites will be handled by the B&R wing.

• No casual or earned leave will be granted to staff during the monsoon period.

• All departments have been instructed to ensure immediate emergency response and provide necessary manpower from their current strength.

• Two enforcement vehicles will be provided at each control room for mobility.

*Chandigarh, June 28:-* The Municipal Corporation Chandigarh today carried out a special anti encroachment drive in the Industrial Area, Phase 1, particularly in the MW Kabri Market, to address unauthorized encroachments.

Following the directions of MC Commissioner Sh Amit Kumar, IAS, the enforcement team carried out inspections and took immediate action against violators obstructing public spaces and roads. A total of 27 challans were issued on the spot for various violations related to illegal encroachments.

The drive aims to ensure the smooth flow of traffic, maintain cleanliness, and uphold civic order in commercial and industrial zones. पंचकूला, 28 जून- पुलिस उपायुक्त सुश्री सृष्टि गुप्ता ने आज जिमखाना क्लब सेक्टर-3 पंचकूला व  ताऊ देवी लाल स्पोर्ट्स कॉम्प्लेक्स में आधुनिक पेंटाथलॉन के लिए उत्कृष्टता केंद्र का उद्घाटन किया गया। उन्होंने कहा कि खेल को खेल की भावना से खेला जाना चाहिए।

पुलिस उपायुक्त ने बताया कि हरियाणा की खेल पाॅलिसी पूरे देश में नंबर वन है। हरियाणा के खिलाडियों ने देश में ही नहीं बल्कि अंतर्राष्ट्रीय स्तर पर नाम रोशन किया है। बेटियां ने भी अंतर्राष्ट्रीय स्तर पर मेडल जीतकर प्रदेश का नाम दुनिया के मानचित्र पर चमका दिया है। उन्होंने बताया कि हरियाणा सरकार ओलंपिक में गोल्ड मेडल जीतने वाले खिलाड़ी को 6 करोड रुपये का इनाम, सिल्वर मेडल जीतने वाले खिलाड़ी को 4 करोड रुपये और ब्रांज मेडल जीतन वाले खिलाडी को 2.5 करोड रुपये की राशि व योग्यता अनुसार नौकरी देकर उनका मनोबल बढा रही है।

पुलिस उपायुक्त ने स्विमिंग पूल का विधिवत उद्घाटन किया। इसके बाद उन्होंने स्विमिंग प्रतियोगिता में भाग लेने वाले खिलाड़ियों से परिचय कर उनकी हौसलाअफजाई की। उपस्थित लोगों ने बुनियादी ढांचे में बदलाव को दर्शाने वाला एक वीडियो भी देखा। राष्ट्रीय स्तर की माॅडर्न पेंटाथलॉन में पूरे भारत से 15 राज्यों ने भाग लिया। इसमें हरियाणा, उतराखंड, पंजाब, चंडीगढ, यूपी, महाराष्ट्रा, बिहार, राजस्थान तथा अन्य राज्यों की टीम शामिल है।
