Panchkula January 15 – Haryana Chief Minister, Sh Manohar Lal said that the coordination of language in books is akin to the mutual relationship between body and soul.

The Chief Minister was speaking today at the inauguration of the 2nd Panchkula Book Fair organized by six departments under the aegis of power companies in Panchkula. National Book Trust also has a special contribution in this fair. The book fair will continue till 22 January. Nearly 100 publishers have put stalls in the fair, in which books of Hindi, English, Urdu, Sanskrit, Punjabi etc. will be available. “Haryana illuminates with the light of knowledge, knowledge flows through electricity” is the theme of the book fair.

The Chief Minister said that books enhance knowledge. Whenever we get time, we must read books, not just for show but to gain real knowledge. In ancient times, shruti gyaan was used to impart knowledge to the future generations. Books also free us from mental stress. Books on various subjects including spirituality, sports, culture, stories, narratives and satirists are available in libraries. Every person should buy books.

The Chief Minister said that Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi had said that bouquets should not be given at the time of welcome or felicitation. He said that a library has also been opened in Sant Kabir Kutir, Chief Minister’s residence. Officers and media persons are also taking books from here. The Chief Minister said that we all should definitely read the book “Raag Darbari” written by writer Shivlal Shukla, IAS (retd.) because this book also contains the articles of Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay on the direction of national life. He said that he is always doing his work following the verse of Gita, Karmanyevadhikaraste Ma Faleshu Kadachan, he never desired the result, the result comes automatically.

The Chief Minister said that the glory of word knowledge is immeasurable. First there was knowledge of letters, then there was knowledge of words, then sentences were formed, then language and script were formed and books were formed.

Today in the digital age the concept of e-library has also come. It is noteworthy that on 22 October 2020, the first e-library by power corporations under CSR was inaugurated in Kachhwa village of Karnal district. Today the Chief Minister also inaugurated three more libraries namely Sardar Patel Library Samana Bahu Karnal, Sardar Patel Library Mohadi Kurukshetra and Sardar Patel Library Dholra Yamunanagar through remote.

Gyan Pravah e-magazine on 25 years of reforms in power corporations. Apart from this, he also released the book of Dr. Pramod and Anu Gupta of Higher Education Department.

Presiding over the occasion, Haryana Legislative Assembly Speaker Shri Gian Chand Gupta said that we should read history books. He said that this will give the new generation an opportunity to know their heroes recorded in history. In this way the youth will imbibe the lives of their heroes and create a bright future.

Chairman of Power Corporations, Shri PK Das gave detailed information on various aspects of the second Panchkula Book Fair. He said that the first fair was organized in Panchkula from 14 to 20 December 2023, in which 30 publishers had set up their stalls. Today more than 100 publishers have set up their stalls in this fair. He said that the main objective of organizing the book fair is to connect civilization along with development and it is hoped that this 8-day long book fair will be able to provide an intellectual environment by collecting literature, culture and education.

On this occasion, Additional Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister, Dr. Amit Agrawal said that books are our best friends. Books are the best source of knowledge, hence everyone must read books. The meaning of the theme of today’s book fair is that just as electric light is reaching everyone’s homes, similarly the light of knowledge should also reach everyone’s homes, so that man can make his valuable contribution to the progress of the society and the country.

In collaboration with the Women and Child Development Department, through the School Education Department and Higher Education Department, a state level workshop of all the women cell in-charges of Haryana is being organized at Indradhanush Auditorium from 10 am to 2 pm on the occasion of Panchkula Book Fair. Director General of Police Shri Shatrujit Kapoor will attend the state level function as the chief guest. Principal Secretary of Women and Child Development Department, Mrs. Amneet P. Kumar will be specially present in the morning session. Apart from this, senior officers of Women Safety of Police Department will play a special role.

On this occasion, Mayor of Panchkula Mr. Kulbhushan Goyal, Managing Director of UHBVN  Dr. Saket Kumar, Deputy Commissioner Sushil Sarwan, Deputy Commissioner of Police Sumer Pratap Singh and others were present.

*Chandigarh, January 15:-* To reduce use of banned plastic and to promote sustainability Municipal Corporation Chandigarh distributed compostable bags to vendors near prominent places of worship as part of the Swachh Teerath Campaign,today. The campaign seeks to encourage vendors to adopt eco-friendly practices. Aryan, the Swachh Bharat Mission Brand Ambassador, handed over the compostable bags to vendors at Iscon Temple, Sector-36, and Sai Temple, Sector 29. The MC team also briefed vendors about the harmful effects of single-use plastic and highlighted the advantages of using compostable bags.

राजकीय महाविद्यालय कालका में प्राचार्या श्रीमति प्रोमिला मलिक के दिशा निर्देशन में महाविद्यालय की महिला प्रकोष्ठ की ओर से पाँच दिवसीय कार्यशाला(8 जनवरी से 12 जनवरी 2024 तक)का आयोजन किया गया। कार्यशाला “फ़िटनेस एवं नृत्य“ विषय से संबंधित थी, जिसका संचालन मिस्टर विवेक द्वारा किया गया। इसमें विद्यार्थियों ने न केवल नृत्य सीखने का लुत्फ़ उठाया बल्कि अपने स्वास्थ्य को मज़बूती देने के लिए भी इस कार्यशाला में बढ़-चढ़ कर भागीदारी की। महिला प्रकोष्ठ के इस प्रयास से लगभग 50 विद्यार्थी लाभान्वित हुए। इस कार्यक्रम को सफल बनाने व सुचारू ढंग से प्रबंधित करने में महिला प्रकोष्ठ की प्रभारी डॉ रागिनी सदस्य मैडम अंजना, डॉ सुमन, डॉ इंदु, मैडम गीता, मैडम नवनीत नैन्सी तथा डॉ शबनम की अहम भूमिका रही।

एचवीपीएनएल के प्रबंध निदेशक डॉ. अमित कुमार अग्रवाल ने बताया कि मेले में प्रतिदिन स्कूल एजुकेशन के माध्यम से छात्रों द्वारा विशेष सांस्कृतिक प्रस्तुतियां एवं रचनात्मक गतिविधियां आयोजित की जायेंगी। जिसने उच्च शिक्षा विभाग के माध्यम से 16 जनवरी को सुबह दस बजे से दो बजे तक महिला बाल विकास विभाग के सहयोग से इंद्रधनुष ऑडिटोरियम में आसमान छूती बेटिया म्हारी लाडो, 17 जनवरी को परिवहन विभाग के सहयोग से आओ सड़क सुरक्षा का नायक बने, 18 जनवरी को साइबर युग में किताबें व ईबुक्स 19 जनवरी को कृषि एवं किसान कल्याण विभाग के सहयोग से कृषि पत्रकारिता 20 जनवरी को स्वास्थ्य विभाग के सहयोग से नशा मुक्त समाज सशक्त राष्ट्र 21 जनवरी को प्रदूषण नियंत्रण में मीडिया की भूमिका 22 जनवरी वन विभाग के सहयोग से वृक्ष खेती से आत्मनिर्भर भारत पर्यावरण पत्रकारिता पर कार्यशाला आयोजित की जाएगी।

तीन लाइब्रेरी का होगा उद्घाटन

पुस्तकालय श्रृंखला के तहत तीन नवनिर्मित जिसमें करनाल के समानाबाहू, कुरुक्षेत्र के मोहड़ी व यमुनानगर जिले के धोलरा गांव में सीएम मनोहर लाल वर्चुअल माध्यम से उद्घाटन करेंगे।

यह गतिविधियां रहेगी आकर्षण का केंद्र

उद्घाटन अवसर पर नेशनल बुक ट्रस्ट द्वारा स्टोरी टेलिंग और कैलीग्राफी वर्कशॉप आयोजित की जाएगी। जिसमें छात्रों को प्रशिक्षित किया जाएगा। सूचना, जनसंपर्क एवं भाषा विभाग और कला एवं संस्कृति कार्य विभाग हरियाणा के सहयोग से 15 से 17 जनवरी तक तीन दिवसीय राष्ट्रीय चित्रकला शिविर, 17 जनवरी को ट्राइसिटी के लेखक के माध्यम से कविता की संगत, 20 जनवरी को हरियाणा के प्रख्यात लोक गायक महावीर गुड्डू, 21 देश के प्रख्यात लोक गायक श्री प्रहलाद तिपानिया द्वारा कबीर के भजनों की संगीतात्मक प्रस्तुति के साथ हरियाणा की प्रसिद्ध सांस्कृतिक समूहों द्वारा लोक नृत्य एवं नाटक प्रस्तुत किए जाएंगे।

हरियाणा विधानसभा अध्यक्ष ने प्रदेशवासियों व जिलावासियों को लोहडी पर्व की दी बधाई व शुभकामनाएं

 इसके उपरांत गांव श्यामटू में पंचायती विभाग द्वारा 47 लाख रूपये की लागत से बनने वाले सामुदायिक केद्र का नारियल तोड शिलान्यास किया।

पंचकूला, 13 जनवरी हरियाणा विधानसभा अध्यक्ष श्री ज्ञानचंद गुप्ता ने  आज जिले के गांव अलीपुर में 57 लाख रूपये की लागत से बनने वाले सामुदायिक केद्र का शिलान्यास किया। श्री गुप्ता ने कहा कि इसके बनने से गांववासियों को लगभग 300 व्यक्तियों की सभा, शादियों व अन्य क्रार्यक्रम सामुदायिक  के्रद में करने का लाभ मिलेगा।


इस अवसर पर नगर निगम महापौर श्री कुलभूषण गोयल व बीजेपी के जिला उपाध्यक्ष उमेश सूद भी उपस्थित रहे।
हरियाणा विधानसभा अध्यक्ष ने प्रदेशवासियों व जिलावासियों को लोहडी पर्व की बधाई व शुभकामनाएं दी।


हरियाणा विधानसभा अध्यक्ष ने ग्रामीणों को संबोधित करते हुए कहा कि नगर निगम सामुदायिक के्रद का निर्माण अगले 6 महीनों में पुरा कर देगा। उन्होने कहा कि प्रदेश सरकार ने जिले का कोई गांव ऐसा नही छोडा जंहा पर सामुदायिक केंद्र  न बनाया हो। उन्होने कहा कि अधिकतर गांव में सामुदायिक केंद्र  बन चुके है और कुछ गांव में सामुदायिक केंद्र  पर तेजी से काम चल रहा है। उनहोने नगर निगम कमिश्नर सचिन गुप्ता को अलाटिड लैंड पर ही शमशान घाट को बनाने के निर्देश दिए। उन्होने बताया कि पिछले 9 साल में जिले में 5 हजार करोड से ज्यादा के विकास कार्य करवाए जा चुके है।


उन्होने कहा कि पचंकूला की पूर्व की सरकारों ने बडी अनदेखी की है। पंचकूला में विकास के कार्य नाम मात्र के हुए है। पूर्व की सरकारों के मुख्यमंत्रियों ने अपने अपने जिलों को चमकाने का कार्य किया है। बीजेपी सरकार के  आने के बाद पंचकूला पहला ऐसा जिला बन गया है जिसकेे हर गांव में 24 घंटे बिजली की सप्लाई दी जा रही है।

उन्होने कहा कि एनएच 73 के बन जाने के कारण आज जमीनों के रेट आसमान को छू रहे है जिससे जिले के ग्रामीणों को लाभ मिला है। उनहोने कहा कि आज मुख्यमंत्री श्री मनोहर लाल के नेतृत्व में 5 नए माडल संस्कृति स्कूल खोले गए है और बेटियों को बाहरवीं तक मुफत शिक्षा दा जा रही है। उन्होने कहा कि पंचकूला आज शिक्षा का हब बन गया है।
 हरियाणा विधानसभा अध्यक्ष ने कहा कि प्रधानमंत्री श्री नरेंद्र मोदी की मंशा है कि कोई भी गरीब व्यक्ति धन के अभाव में इलाज से वंचित ना रहे। इसके लिए प्रधानमंत्रीे ने आयुष्मान भारत योजना लागू की एक अनूठी पहल की। यह विश्व की एक अनूठी योजना है, जिसके तहत बीपीएल व गरीब परिवारों के लोग सरकारी व निजी अस्पतालों में सालाना पांच लाख रुपये तक की निशुल्क चिकित्सा सुविधा का लाभ उठा सकते है। उन्होंने कहा कि देश में अब तक 40 करोड लोगों के आयुष्मान कार्ड बनाए जा चुके है। हरियाणा में मुख्यमंत्री श्री मनोहर लाल के नेतृत्व में चिरायु योजना के माध्यम से गरीबों को 5 लाख रूप्ये तक की निशुल्क चिकित्सा सुविधा का लाभ दिया जा रहा है।
प्रधानमंत्री उज्जवला योजना का उल्लेख करते हुए श्री गुप्ता ने कहा कि इस योजना के तहत गरीब परिवारों की माता बहनों को निशुल्क सिलेंडर और चूल्हा की सुविधा दी जा रही है। उन्होंने आह्वान किया कि पात्र लाभार्थी इस योजना के तहत अपना पंजीकरण करवाकर लाभ अवश्य उठाए।

हरियाणा विधानसभा अध्यक्ष ने इसके उपरांत गांव श्यामटू में पंचायती विभाग द्वारा लगभग 47 लाख रूपये की लागत से बनने वाले सामुदायिक केद्र का नारियल तोड शिलान्यास किया। श्री गुप्ता ने कहा कि यह सामुदायिक के्रद 6 महीने में पंचायती विभाग द्वारा बनाया जाएगा।
इस अवसर पर नगर निगम महापौर श्री कुलभूषण गोयल व श्यामटू के सरपंच बलराम तथा बीजेपी के जिला उपाध्यक्ष उमेश सूद भी उपस्थित थे।

हरियाणा विधानसभा अध्यक्ष ने ग्रामीणों को संबोधित करते हुए कहा कि हरियाणा के मुख्यमंत्री श्री मनोहर लाल मुख्यमंत्री बनते ही श्यामटू गांव का दौरा किया और ग्रामीणों ने उनसे सामदायिक के्रद, व्यामशाला व पुल बनाने की मंाग की थी। अब ये तीनों मंागे जल्दी ही पूरी हो जाएगी। श्री गुप्ता ने कहा कि प्रधानमंत्री श्री नरें्रद मोदी ने देश हित में बडे बडे फैसले लिए है। धारा-370, तीन तलाक खत्म करना, संर्जिकल स्ट्राईक,  अयोध्या में रामलला का मंदिर बनवाने के एतिहासिक निर्णय लिए है। उन्होने कहा कि 500 वर्ष के बाद अयोध्या में रामलला की प्राण प्रतिष्ठा 22 जनवरी को होने जा रही हैं। श्री गुप्ता ने गा्रमीणों से 22 जनवरी को अपने अपने घरों में 5 दिये जलाकर इस दिन को दीवाली की तरह उत्सव के रूप में मनाने की अपील की। हिंदुओं के लिए यह एक बडा दिन है, इस पर सभी को गर्व होना चाहिए।


उन्होने अपने अनुभव सांझा करते हुए कहा कि मैं पंचकूला में ही पैदा हुआ हूं और यही पर पला और पढा हूं। इस क्षेत्र के सभी लोगों की समस्या को भी भली भांित जानता हूं। हरियाणा के मुख्यमंत्री श्री मनोहर लाल का भी पंचकूला पर विश्ेाष फोकस है, पंचकूला के विकास के लिए मुख्यमंत्री जी ने भी कोई कसर नही छोडी है।

पंचकूला जनवरी 13:  हरियाणा के राज्यपाल श्री बंडारू दत्तात्रेय ने आज लोहड़ी का पावन पर्व शिशु गृह सेक्टर -15 में बच्चों के साथ बड़े ही हर्षोल्लास के साथ मनाया।

बाल कल्याण परिषद हरियाणा के तत्वावधान में राज्य स्तरीय लोहड़ी समारोह के आयोजन पर राज्यपाल ने  शिशु गृह पहुंच कर बच्चों से मुलाकात की और उनके साथ खुशी सांझा की।राज्यपाल ने उनका हालचाल भी जाना। बच्चों ने भी श्री दत्तात्रेय को लोहड़ी की शुभकामनाएं दी। इसके बाद श्री बंडारू दत्तात्रेय ने लोहड़ी दहन किया। इस अवसर पर बच्चों और अन्य कलाकारों ने मंच पर रंगारंग कार्यक्रम पेश किए जिसकी अतिथियों ने खूब सराहना की। इससे पूर्व शिशु गृह पहुँचने पर हरियाणा बाल कल्याण परिषद की मानद महासचिव रंजीता मेहता ने राज्यपाल का स्वागत किया।

कार्यक्रम को संबोधित करते हुए  श्री दत्तात्रेय ने कहा कि उन्हें हरियाणा राज्य बाल कल्याण परिषद द्वारा शिशु गृह, पंचकूला में आयोजित नववर्ष, लोहड़ी और मकर संक्राति के पावन पर्व पर बच्चों के बीच आकर बेहद खुशी हो रही है। इस पावन पर्व पर शिशु गृह के नन्हें-मुन्ने बच्चों के खिल-खिलाते चेहरों पर खुशी और आखों में आशाओं की किरण देखकर वे बेहद आनंदित महसूस कर रहे हैं। उन्होंने बच्चों के लिए बेहतर स्वास्थ्य, मंगलमय जीवन और उज्जवल भविष्य की कामना की।

उन्होंने कहा कि लोहड़ी, मकर संक्राति, बसंत पंचमी, होली-दिवाली जैसे पावन पर्व हमारे देश की महान संस्कृति, सभ्यता, परंपरा व रीति-रिवाजों के परिचायक हैं, जो हमारे जीवन में खुशहाली, सुख-समृद्धि, सुख-शांति, आपसी सद्भाव, भाईचारे एवं खुशियों के रंग भरते हैं तथा हमें नई उमंग-उत्साह, स्फूर्ति व ताजगी का एहसास कराते हैं। प्रति वर्ष लोहड़ी का त्यौहार हमारे जीवन में आनंद लेकर आता है।

राज्यपाल में कहा की  हरियाणा राज्य बाल कल्याण परिषद् वर्ष 1971 से हरियाणा में बच्चों के लिए आत्मियता और मानवता से परिपूर्ण सराहनीय सेवाएं प्रदान कर रही है। परिषद् प्रदेश के सभी बाल भवनों एवं लघु बाल भवनों के द्वारा 18 वर्ष तक के बच्चों के लिए ज्ञान वर्धक एवं स्वास्थ्य वर्धक गतिविधियां चला रही हैं, जिनमें कंप्यूटर केंद्र, क्राफ्ट केंद्र, शिशु पालन केंद्र, बाल पुस्तकालय, मॉडल डे केयर केंद्र, प्रतिभा खोज कार्यक्रम, प्रारंभिक कक्षाएं/स्कूल, बच्चों की रचनात्मक क्षमताओं को बढ़ाने के लिए राज्य स्तरीय प्रतियोगिताएं आदि शामिल है।

उन्होंने कहा कि परिषद् बाल गृहों के माध्यम से अनाथ एवं बेसहारा बच्चों को आवासीय सेवाएं प्रदान कर रही है। इसके अलावा अन्य महत्वपूर्ण कार्यक्रम, जिसमें दत्तक ग्रहण, स्पेशल एडॉप्शन कार्यक्रम, प्रारंभिक कक्षाएं, सांयकालीन कक्षाएं, कोचिंग, मार्गदर्शक कक्षाएं तथा स्पेशल बच्चों के लिए सवेरा एवं प्रयास स्कूल, नशा मुक्ति केंद्र, परिवार परामर्श केंद्र, स्पॉन्सरशिप कार्यक्रम के साथ-साथ गरीब बच्चों के लिए ओपन शेल्टर होम भी चला रही है, जोकि बेहद सराहनीय कदम है।हरियाणा राज्य बाल कल्याण परिषद् एक मान्यता प्राप्त दत्तक ग्रहण संस्था है, जो बच्चों को देश और विदेशों में गोद लेने के लिए भारत सरकार से मान्यता प्राप्त संस्था है।

इस अवसर पर संबोधित करते हुए बाल कल्याण परिषद, हरियाणा की मानद महासचिव रंजीता मेहता ने बताया कि परिषद द्वारा वर्ष 1981 से अब तक देश और विदेश में 600 बच्चों को गोद दिया जा चुका है जिसमें से 431 बच्चों को देश में और 169 बच्चों को विदेशों में गोद दिया गया है। शिशु गृह द्वारा अब तक कुल 577 बच्चों, जिसमें देश में 416  और अंतर्देशीय स्तर पर 161 बच्चों को दत्तक ग्रहण के माध्यम से गोद दिया गया है।

इस मौके पर  राज्यपाल ने शिशु गृह के बच्चों को लोहड़ी भेंट कर आशीर्वाद दिया। उन्होंने सांस्कृतिक प्रस्तुति देने वाले बच्चों की भी सम्मानित किया ।

*Chandigarh, January 12:-* Aiming in creating a cleaner, greener, and more sustainable city, On National Youth Day, the Municipal Corporation of Chandigarh emphasized the pivotal role of youth in building a sustainable and garbage-free city. The MC Chandigarh organized a special visit to provide college students with hands-on experience, enabling them to understand the functions of solid waste management beyond the classroom.

Municipal Commissioner, Ms. Anindita Mitra, IAS said that MC Chandigarh believes engaging the youth in such experiential learning opportunities will foster a sense of ownership and responsibility towards waste management. By providing them with practical exposure, the MC aims to inspire the younger generation to actively participate in building a greener and more sustainable future.

Under the expert guidance of MC officials, a group of 50 college students participated in a field visit to various waste management facilities. This visit aimed to enhance their practical knowledge and create awareness about sustainable waste management practices. The students gained insights into landfilling operations and witnessed the ongoing dumpsite remediation process at the Daddumajra landfill site.

Furthermore, the students learned about mechanical segregation techniques for recyclable recovery during their visit to the Pink Material Recovery Facility (MRF) and Garbage Transfer Station. They also observed the transition from Primary Door-to-Door Collection and Transportation (C&T) to Secondary C&T, including the compaction of fluffy waste in compacted capsules for cost-saving purposes.

To broaden their understanding of waste management, the students visited the Solid Waste Processing Plant. Here, they learned about the processing of both wet and dry waste to produce compost and Refused Derived Fuel (RDF), respectively. This hands-on experience provided the students with valuable insights into the waste management process and the importance of resource recovery.

In addition, the students visited the Construction and Demolition (C&D) waste management plant located in Industrial Area Phase 1. They received education on the process of converting C&D waste into construction raw materials such as fine sand, coarse aggregates, bricks, and Paver Blocks. This visit aimed to instill a sense of responsibility among the youth towards the proper disposal and recycling of construction waste.

MCC celebrates Lohri with the Nigam Pariwar*

*Chandigarh, January 12:-* The Municipal Corporation, Chandigarh celebrated Lohri with its Nigam Parivaar in their respective offices besides ceremonial bonfire programme at MCC head office, sector 17.

Separate functions were organised to mark Lohri and wish the employees and their families, Door to Door waste collectors and safaikarmachariscelebratedLohri at CommunityCentreSector43, the Engeering wing celebrated Lohri by organizing different programmes besides a colorful function at Fire Station, Sector 17 with all the firemen and their families.

A cultural programme was also organised at MCC head Office at sector 17 in which all the employees of head Office celebrated Lohri festival.

City Mayor Sh. Anup Gupta extended warm wishes to the officers and employees of the MCC followed by ceremonial bonfire and puja etc.

Ms. Anindita Mitra, IAS, Commissioner, Municipal Corporation Chandigarh said that the celebrations were aimed at boosting the moral and confidence of all employees of Municipal Corporation Chandigarh.

Sweets were also distributed among the employees and their families. On this occasion the best employees who have been upright, sincere, dedicated and have excelled in the performance of duty assigned to them, were also honoured.
