आयुक्तालय पंचकुला मे 4 नवम्बर से 9 नवम्बर तक प्रथम ‘हरियाणा पुलिस वीक’ का आयोजन किया जा रहा है । श्रीमति नुपूर बिश्नोई ह0पु0से0, सहायक पुलिस आयुक्त, पंचकुला को इस कार्यक्रम का नोडल अधिकारी नियुक्त किया गया है । इसी कार्यक्रम के तहत श्रीमति नुपूर बिश्नोई के नेतृत्व मे 6 नवम्बर को महिला कॉलेज सैक्टर-14, पंचकुला मे महिलाओ व कॉलेज की छात्राओ को महिला विरूद्ध अपराध व आत्मसुरक्षा के संबंध में कार्यक्रम का आयोजन कर कानूनो की जानकारी व अपनी आत्मरक्षा के सम्बन्ध मे जागरूक किया जायेगा । इस दौरान छात्राओं को किसी भी विपरीत परिस्थिति में स्वयं की सुरक्षा कैसे की जाए इस विषय पर भी जानकारी दी जायेगी ।

Dr Ranjit Singh of the University Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences (UIPS), Panjab University, Chandigarh has bagged the “PharmInnova Award 2018-19” instituted by the Rajnibhai V Patel Trust under the patronage of Department of Science & Technology, Government of India for most innovative in Pharmaceutical Chemistry subject in Ph.D. category.
He will be awarded with PharmInnova Trophy & monetary prize of Rs.1,00,000/- and his research guide Professor Ranju Bansal will also be felicitated with certificate & monetary prize of Rs. 50,000/-. Dr Ranjit Singh worked on the ‘Synthesis of Novel Neuroprotective Heterosteroids’ for the treatment of neuro inflammation induced neurodegenerative disorders like Alzheimer’s disease and Parkinson’s disease under the expert guidance of Prof. Ranju Bansal. Prof. Bansal is actively involved in research on steroids for more than twenty five years. Dr Ranjit Singh is currently working as a Research Associate in UIPS, Panjab University, Chandigarh . With an aim to encourage innovative thinking amongst students, Rajnibhai V Patel Trust instituted the “Pharm Innova Award – Best Thesis in Pharmaceutical Sciences”. The awards are given to students pursuing their Masters & Doctorate in Pharmaceutical Sciences. The Pharm Innova Awards are sponsored by Troikaa Pharmaceuticals, Ahmedabad in co-ordination with the L M College of Pharmacy, Ahmedabad.

आज 5/5/2019 को पंजाब विश्वविद्यालय के संस्कृत विभाग एवं दयानन्द चेयर द्वारा श्री गुरु नानक देव जी का 550 वां प्रकाशोत्सव मनाया गया। मुख्य वक्ता के रूप में संस्कृत विभाग के अध्यक्ष प्रो. वीरेन्द्र कुमार अलंकार ने गुरु नानक देव जी के 550 वें प्रकाशोत्सव पर अपना दार्शनिक मत प्रकट करते हुए भारतीय धर्म, लंगर प्रथा की ऐतिहासिकता, सिक्ख-धर्म की सेवा-शुश्रुषा एवं वाहे गुरु शब्द की व्युत्पत्ति बतायी। इस कार्यक्रम में आकर्षण के तीन मुख्य बिन्दु रहे – 1. गुरु नानक देव जी के दर्शन एवं सिद्धान्तों पर हिन्दी, संस्कृत एवं पंजाबी भाषाओं में संवाद हुआ। 2. संस्कृत कवियों द्वारा लिखित गुरु नानक देव विषयक साहित्य का परिचय दियागया। 3. हिन्दी एवं संस्कृत में कविताओं द्वारा उनकी शिक्षाओं का वर्णन किया गया। प्रो. अलंकार ने नानकभास्वरोऽभात् शीर्षक से गुरु नानक देव के विराट् स्वरूप का आकलन प्रस्तुत किया। कार्यक्रम में शोधच्छात्रों ने अपने सारगर्भित विचार प्रकट किये और एम. ए के छात्रों ने हर्षोल्लास सहित भाग लिया। जहाँ हेमन्त और रामकुमार ने तथ्यात्मक बात कही वहाँ अंशुल ने ऐतिहासिक जानकारी दी। मनदीप ने पंजाबी भाषा में अपने विचार रखे तथा ऋचा ने संगीत के माध्यम से अपने उद्गार व्यक्त किये। सिक्ख दर्शन की समसामयिक आवश्यकता पर सभी ने प्रकाश डाला।

The Second day of the International Brain Research Organization (IBRO) -Asia Pacific Regional Committee (APRC) supported school on the theme ‘Blood-Brain-Barrier: From Basic Physiology to Neurological Disorders started with a Skype lecture from Dr Ajeet Kaushik, Florida Polytechnic University, U.S.A. He highlighted his work on the use of personalized nanotherapy to treat neurological disorders. He also discussed his work on MENS (Magneto Electric Nanoparticles), which can pass through the blood brain barrier (BBB) and can be a potential source of future therapeutics.
Prof. Prakash Babu, Dean, School of Medical Sciences, University of Hyderabad, discussed that despite several advancements in the treatment people affected with malaria is growing. The major challenge is posed by the severe form of malaria, called Cerebral Malaria (CM) and drug resistance. Unresolved issue of the CM is cognitive impairment especially with the children and young adults who suffered from CM. In this connection his lab has recently reported the association of BBB and inflammation in CM as well as in ischemic stroke.
The session was followed by Dr. Girdhari Lal, National Centre for Cell Science (NCCS), Pune. He highlighted how current lifestyle and exposure to different types of stressors like socio-economic stress, substance abuse etc can lead to several chronic diseases. How in these chronic diseases, immune cells and brain cells communicate with each other and participate in neuroinflammation is being investigated at NCCS, Pune. The centre also uses cutting edge tools and technology to investigate neurological disorders and provide a new platform to benefit the patient.
Dr. Deepak Sharma, CSIR-IMTech, Chandigarh discussed about various model organisms like worms, mice, etc, to study Parkinson’s disease. He also emphasized the importance of simulating similar environment for the model studies to reflect the conditions experienced by human patients. Dr. Deepak also showed various behavior studies performed in these models. Concluding, he mentioned the importance of our eating habits as there is a saying that root of every disease starts from the gut.
The extensive talk was then followed by the laboratory session where participants were given hands on training on experiments used for studying the structure of BBB. Lastly, today’s session to the young scientists participating in the IBRO workshop elucidated importance of structural and functional integrity of BBB.

पंचकूला ,5 नवम्बर – उपायुक्त मुकेश कुमार आहूजा ने कहा है कि पंचकूला जिले में पराली न जलाने को लेकर 183 गांवो स्तरीय जागरूकता शिविर लगाये जा चुके है। बरवाला व रायपुररानी खंड के गांवो में मोबाइल वेन के माध्यम से किसानो में जागरूक किया गया है। श्री आहूजा हरियाणा की मुख्य सचिव केशनी आंनद अरोड़ा द्वारा सभी जिलों के उपायुक्तो की विडियों कोन्फ्रैसिंग के बाद अधिकारियों को संबोधित कर रहे थे।
उन्होंने अधिकारियों को निर्देश दिए कि पराली न जलाने की मुहीम में गांवो के सरपंचों को भी शामिल कर उनकी जिम्मेदारी निश्चित करे। बताया कि फसल अवशेष प्रबंधन के लिये जिला में 20 सितंबर से 5 अक्तूबर तक फसल अवशेष सीआरएम यानी फसल अवशेष प्रबधंन पखवाड़ा भी मनाया गया था, जिसमें किसानों को फसल अवशेष प्रबंधन के बारे में जागरूक किया गया। उन्होंने बताया कि अभी तक 18 जगहों पर फसल अवशेष जलते पाये गये है, जिसमें से 14 व्यक्तियों के खिलाफ कार्रवाही अमल में लाई गई है और शेष के मुकदमा दर्ज करवाया जायेगा।
जिला के बरवाला खंड के गांवों भगवानपुर, पलसारा, बीर फिरोजारी में व रायपुररानी खंड के गांवों रायपुररानी, गोलपुरा में 5 नवंबर को ग्राम सभाओं की बैठक आयोजित करके किसानों को पराली न जलाने के संबंध में जागरूक किया गया। इसके लिए उपायुक्त ने पंचायत विभाग के अधिकारियों को विशेष दिशा-निर्देश जारी किए हैं। विभिन्न खंडों के लिए गांवों का शैड्यूल भी जारी कर दिया गया है।
उपायुक्त मुकेश कुमार आहूजा ने बताया कि खेतों में पराली जलाने पर रोक लगाई गई है और इस संबंध में किसानों को जागरूक किया जा रहा है। इसके साथ ही प्रदेश सरकार द्वारा पराली प्रबंधन कृषि उपकरण भारी-भरकम अनुदान पर किसानों को उपलब्ध करवाए जा रहे हैं। इसके बावजूद यदि किसान अपने खेतों में पराली को आग लगाते हैं तो उनके खिलाफ कानून के अनुसार कार्रवाई की जाएगी। किसी भी व्यक्ति को प्रदूषण फैलाकर आमजन के लिए समस्याएं पैदा करने की अनुमति नहीं दी जा सकती है।
उन्होंने बताया कि फसल अवशेषों को आग लगाने से जमीन व पर्यावरण को क्या नुकसान होता है, इसके संबंध में किसानों को जागरूक करने के लिए ग्राम सभाओं का आयोजन किया जाएगा।
उन्होंने सभी खंडों के बीडीपीओ को निर्देश दिए हैं कि वे ग्राम सभाओं में प्रस्ताव पास करवाएं कि गांव का कोई भी किसान फसल अवशेषों में आग नहीं लगाएगा। इतना ही नहीं, गांवों में कूड़ा जलाने पर भी प्रतिबंध लगावाया जाए। उन्होंने बताया कि पराली में आग लगाने से इससे उत्पन्न होने वाला धुआं पर्यावरण को काफी अधिक नुकसान करता है और आमजन के साथ-साथ यह जीव-जंतुओं तथा पेड़-पौधों के लिए भी हानिकारक है। इससे जमीन में मौजूद मित्रकीट भी नष्ट हो जाते हैं तथा भूमि की उत्पादन क्षमता कम हो जाती है।
उपायुक्त ने जिला के किसानों से आह्वान किया है कि वे अपने फसल अवशेषों में आग न लगाएं बल्कि इसका वैज्ञानिक तरीके से मशीनों के माध्यम से प्रबंधन करें। ऐसा करके उन्हें अतिरिक्त आमदनी हो सकती है तथा वे जमीन की उपजाऊ शक्ति भी बढ़ा सकते हैं। पराली प्रबंधन के लिए किसान कृषि विभाग के अधिकारियों से संपर्क कर सकते हैं जिनके माध्यम से उन्हें सरकारी योजनाओं की भी जानकारी आसानी से मिल जाएगी।
अतिरिक्त उपायुक्त मनिता मलिक, एसडीएम सुशील कुमार, एसडीएम कालका राकेश संधू, नगराधीश नवीन कुमार आहूजा, डीडीपीओ कुंवर दमन सिंह, डीआरओ रामफल कटारिया अनेकों सबंधित अधिकारी उपस्थित थे।

पंचकूला 05 नवम्बर – श्रीमान पुलिस महानिदेशक हरियाणा के दिशा-निर्देश अनुसार श्री सौरभ सिंह, भा0पु0से0 पुलिस आयुक्त पंचकुला तथा श्री कमलदीप गोयल ह0पु0से0 पुलिस उपायुक्त पंचकुला के कुशल नेतृत्व मे आयुक्तालय पंचकुला मे पुलिस द्वारा 4 नवम्बर से 9 नवंबर तक प्रथम ‘हरियाणा पुलिस वीक’ को उत्सव के रूप में मनाया जा रहा है । 5 नवम्बर को ‘हरियाणा पुलिस वीक’ उत्सव का दूसरा दिन रहा । इस उत्सव का दूसरा दिन रोड सेफ्टी तथा ट्रैफिक रूल के बारे मे रहा । जनता को सड़क सुरक्षा व यातायात नियमों के प्रति जागरूक करने के लिए सभी थानों व पुलिस लाइन में क्षेत्र के वरिष्ठ व गणमान्य व्यक्तियों की मौजूदगी में रोड सेफ्टी तथा ट्रैफिक रूल के बारे मे कार्यक्रम का आयोजन किया गया । ट्रैफिक इन्चार्ज निरीक्षक महाबीर के नेतृत्व मे ट्रैफिक पुलिस द्वारा मनसा देवी ट्रैफिक सिग्नल, सैक्टर-20 ट्रैफिक सिग्नल व टोल प्लाजा चण्डीमंदिर पर स्पेशल अभियान चलाया गया । अभियान के तहत नियमों की अवहेलना करने वाले वाहन चालकों को हैल्मेट पहनने के बारे तथा सीट बैल्ट लगाने के बारे मे जागरूक किया गया । वाहन चालको को समझाया गया कि यातायात नियमों का पालन करें ताकि बढ़ रही सड़क दुर्घटनाओ पर अंकुश लगाया जा सके । नशीले पदार्थो का सेवन कर वाहन न चलाने, निर्धारित गति सीमा मे ही वाहन चलाने तथा वाहन चलाते समय लेन किस प्रकार बदली है यह भी लोगो को बताया गया । धुंध के समय गाड़ी को धीरे चलाने बारे और अपने वाहनों पर रिफ्लैक्टर लगवाने बारे भी बताया गया । यातायात नियमों का पालन करने वाले वाहन चालकों का पुलिस का सहयोग करने के लिये धन्यवाद भी किया । इसके अलावा संशोधित मोटर व्हीकल एक्ट 2019 के बारे मे भी आमजन को बताया गया । इस अभियान को जन-जन तक पहुंचाने के उद्देश्य से पुलिस द्वारा लोगो से अपील की गई कि अपने आस-पास और भी लोगो को इस बारे बताया जाये ।

कृषि एवं किसान कल्याण विभाग द्वारा मंगलवार को पराली प्रबंधन को लेकर उपमंडल कृषि अधिकारी कार्यालय में जागरूकता शिविर का आयोजन किया गया।
सहायक कृषि अभियंता जसविंद्र सिंह चौहान ने बताया कि कैंप में किसानों को पराली जलाने से पर्यावरण व मानव जीवन पर पडऩे वाले दुष्प्रभावों के बारे में जानकारी दी गई। साथ ही किसानों को नवीनतम कृषि यंत्रों से पराली प्रबंधन के तरीकों के बारे में भी अवगत करवाया गया। उन्होंने बताया कि खंड डबवाली में स्थापित कस्टम हायरिंग सैंटरों से किसान रियायती दरों पर किराए पर कृषि यंत्र लेकर पराली प्रबंधन कर सकते हैं। इसके अलावा विभाग द्वारा सौ स्ट्रा बेलर यूनिट (स्ट्रा बेलर, हे-रेक तथा स्लैशर/शर्ब मास्टर) अनुदान पर दिए जा रहे हैं। जागरूकता शिविर में कस्टम हायरिंग सैंटरों के प्रतिनिधियों ने किसानों को पराली में आग न लगाने व गेहूं की बिजाई के लिए उन द्वारा हैप्पी सीडर बिल्कुल फ्री उपलब्ध करवाया जाएगा। इस मौके पर किसानों को पराली न जलाने की शपथ भी दिलवाई गई।

महिला एवं बाल विकास विभाग द्वारा पोषण अभियान के तहत खंड सिरसा (शहरी) कार्यालय में ब्लॉक रिसोर्स ग्रुप की प्रशिक्षण कार्यशाला का आयोजन किया गया। इस कार्यशाला की अध्यक्षता सीडीपीओ सूचि बजाज ने की। कार्यशाला में महिलाओं को एनीमिया रोग के कारणों व उपचार के बारे में विस्तारपूर्वक जानकारी दी गई।
कार्यशाला में ब्लॉक कॉर्डिनेटर चीना गोयल ने बताया कि रक्त में हीमोग्लोबिन की मात्रा में कमी नहीं होनी चाहिए। भोजन में साबुत अनाज, हरी पत्तेदार सब्जियां, सोयाबीन, दाल, दूध, दही, विटामिन बी, आयरन, फोलिक एसिड आदि को शािमल करना चाहिए। प्रशिक्षण के दौरान सुपरवाईजरों द्वारा एनीमिया ग्रस्त महिला के लक्षण जैसे कमजोरी महसूस करना, जल्दी थकना, सांस फूलना, मानसिक तौर पर सुस्त महसूस करना आदि के बारे में विस्तारपूर्वक बताया गया। उन्होंने बताया कि हमें सभी की पर्याप्त व सहज उपलब्ध आहार जिसमें आयरन की मात्रा भरपूर हो लोहे की कढाई में खना बनाए। उन्होंने बताया कि गर्भवती माताओं को आयरन की गोलियां दे, दो बच्चों के जन्म के बीच अंतराल रखें। इस अवसर पर सुपरवाइजर शकुंतला, रचना व आंगनवाड़ी वर्कर मौजूद थी।

National Seminar cum Workshop on Designing and Development of MOOCs is organised by Centre for Academic Leadership & Education Management (CALEM), Department of Education, Panjab University, Chandigarh in collaboration with SWAYAM CELL, Panjab University, Chandigarh. Prof Raj Kumar, Vice Chancellor, Panjab University, Chandigarh enlightened the audience about the importance of MOOCs and the initiatives by MHRD (GOI) in this direction. He mentioned that this area of learning has huge potential. MOOCs have reached remote places, deprived ones, marginalized and people from diverse financial status. He motivated the participants and said that we need to come out in a mission mode to develop MOOCs.
Prof. Manpreet Manna, Former Director, AICTE, MHRD, GOI shared with participants the journey and challenges of implementing SWAYAM platform initiatives in India. He mentioned that SWAYAM is the only structured academic e-learning platform in the world which is free of cost. Learners can find lectures on biotechnology to modern mysticism on MOOCs. He elaborated on the meaning of blended learning, flipped learning and pedagogy of MOOCs. In the first academic session, Dr. Tajinderpal Singh from UBS,PU, discussed about the introduction and various technical aspects involved in the designing and submission of the MOOCs proposal to competent authorities.The four quadrant approach( e-tutorial, e-content, discussion platform and assessment) in the development of the MOOCs was also discussed.
Dr. Vishal Sharma, PU Coordinator SWAYAM highlighted the importance of MOOCs in the higher education sector for taking knowledge to diverse learners in our country and across the globe.
Prof. Jatinder Grover, Coordinator,Centre for Academic Leadership and Educational Management (CALEM ), PU,addressed the participants and introduced the theme of the 7 days’ workshop on developing MOOCs and shared that the MOOCs are supplementto the formal learning, distance learning and for lifelong learning.
He also shared that there are only four CALEMcentres in India. PU is one of the University having this Centre approved by Govt. of India. He also highlighted that till date CALEM has organised 5 workshops of seven days and five workshops for 2 days for Faculty development.
