जिलाधीश अशोक कुमार गर्ग द्वारा दंड प्रक्रिया नियमावली 1973 की धारा 144 द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए 17 जुलाई से 30 जुलाई 2019 तक कावड़ यात्रा के दौरान डी.जे. लगाने व कावड़ यात्रा के साथ हॉकी, बैट, असला आदि जिला की सीमा के अन्दर लेकर आने पर पूर्ण प्रतिबंध लगाया गया है।
जिलाधीश के आदेशानुसार कावडिय़ा मेला पर हरिद्वार व नीलकंठ से कावड़ लाते हैं और अपने अपने क्षेत्र से स्थित शिव मन्दिर में चढ़ाते हैं। इस दौरान कावडिय़े जीप, पैदल व अन्य वाहनों का प्रयोग भी करते हैं और वाहनों पर डी.जे. लगाकर भी चलाते हैं, वे अपने साथ हॉकी, बैट, असला इत्यादि रखते हैं। कानून एवं व्यवस्था बनाए रखने के उद्देश्य से कावडिय़ों के वाहनों पर डी.जे. लगाने, बजाने व अपने साथ हॉकी, बैट असला आदि रखने पर पूर्णतया मनाही रहेगी। इन आदेशों की उल्लंघना करने वाले भारतीय दण्ड संहिता की धारा 188 के अनुसार दण्ड के पात्र होंगे

The Girls Hostel No. 8 of Panjab University organized a tree plantation drive in collaboration with the Mr. Rahul Mahajan of Social Substance and Horticulture Department of P.U. here today 18, 2019.
Sh. Vikram Nayyar, the Finance and Development Officer, P.U. inaugurated the drive by planting a sapling. Prof. Emanual Nahar, Dean Student Welfare(DSW) with Prof. Neena Capalash, DSW (W) and wardens of the hostels participated in the drive and they have also planted saplings. The coordinator of the drive was Dr. Anupam Bahri, warden of GH8. The residents along with the employees of the hostel also participated in the drive. Saplings were also adopted by them.
The students from Bhavan Vidyalaya, Sector 33 also participated in the drive and create awareness to save the environment.

A Tree Plantation Drive was undertaken by the Department of Life Long Learning and Extension in collaboration with Horticulture Wing of Panjab University around the surrounding of Emerging Area Building, here today. Firstly sprucing of the lawns and grounds around Emerging Area in Social Sciences Block was prepared. Mowing of grass, weeds and wild growth was done. Flower beds were prepared and shrubs and trees like Ficus were planted. In addition to that, some herbs like Tulsi and Shrubs like Kaner and Chinese Rose were planted for beautification and ornamentation of the area.
All the faculty and staff members of the Department actively participated in this drive and planted the plants. As desired by the Panjab University authorities, the programme was undertaken on the initiative of Dr. P.S. Kang, Chairperson, Department of Life Long Learning and Extension, Panjab University, Chandigarh.

More than 30 plants of Cassiagulaca were planted in front of Arts Bloc No. IV (near parking side). The faculty, staff, students and Research Scholars of the Department were present. Dr. Navjot, Chairperson advised the students to plant more trees to keep the environment green, clean, safe and healthy. The students agreed to take care of plantations of these trees.

जवाहर नवोदय विद्यालय औढां में वर्ष 2020-21 हेतु कक्षा छठी में प्रवेश के लिए ऑनलाइन आवेदन पत्र भरे जा रहे हैं। इच्छुक विद्यार्थी 15 सितंबर 2019 तक अपना ऑनलाईन रजिस्ट्रेशन करवा सकते हैं। यह जानकारी देते हुए जवाहर नवोदय विद्यालय औढां के प्राचार्य राम सिंह ने बताया कि इच्छुक विद्यार्थी नवोदय विद्यालय समिति की बेवसाइट डब्ल्यूडब्ल्यूडब्ल्यू डॉट एनवीएसएडमिशनडनक्लासआईएक्स डॉट इन पर ऑनलाईन फार्म भर सकते हैं। ऑनलाईन पंजीकरण हेतु 15 सितंबर 2019 तक किये जा सकते हैं। प्रवेश हेतु चयन परीक्षा 11 जनवरी 2020 को आयोजित की जायेगी।
उन्होंने बताया कि अभ्कयार्थी वर्ष 2019-20 में जिला सिरसा में स्थित किसी भी सरकारी /सरकार द्वारा मान्यता प्राप्त विद्यालय में कक्षा पांचवी में अध्यन्नरत हो तथा अभ्यार्थी का जन्म एक मई 2007 से 30 अप्रैल 2011 के बीच (दोनों को मिलाकर) हुआ हो। आवेदन पत्र भरने के लिए अभिभावकों को अभ्यार्थी का एक प्रमाण-पत्र (निर्धारित प्रारुप संलग्र) प्रस्तुत करना होगा जो कि अभ्यार्थी के उस विद्यालय के मुख्याध्यापक द्वारा जारी किया जायेगा। इसके अलावा ऑनलाईन रजिस्टे्रशन के समय अभ्यार्थी को अपना व अपने पिता का फोटो व हस्ताक्षर भी अपलोड करना होगा।

जापान के क्योटो में जाने-माने एनीमेशन स्टूडियो में लगी आज की वजह से मरने वालों का आंकड़ा लगातार बढ़ता जा रहा है।
आग की चपेट में आने से अब तक 24 लोगों की मौत हो गई है, जबकि 30 से अधिक लोगों घायल बताए जा रहे है।
मीडिया रिपोर्ट के मुताबिक आग लगभग 10.30 बजे लगी।
मीडिया रिपोर्ट के मुताबिक गुरूवार सुबह टीवी एनीमेशन सीरीज बनाने के लिए मशहूर क्योटो एनिमेशन कंपनी की तीन मंजिला इमारत में एक अज्ञात शख्स ने आग लगा दी।
मौके पर पहुंची राहत टीमों ने लोगों को निकालने का काम शुरू कर दिया है। वहीं पुलिस, ने आगजनी करने वाले एक व्यक्ति को गिरफ्तार कर लिया है। पुलिस के मुताबिक आरोपी ने गैसोलीन का छिड़काव कर वहां पर आग लगा दी।

हरियाणा के तकनीकी शिक्षा मंत्री राम बिलास शर्मा ने बताया कि लंदन विजिट के दौरान कई एमओयू साइन किए हैं जिससे हरियाणा में रोजगार के अवसर बढ़ेंगे तथा लंदन के विश्वविद्यालयों के साथ मिलकर रिसर्च करेंगे। हरियाणा तकनीकी शिक्षा विभाग के ब्रिटेन के दौरे से राज्य को काफी फायदा होगा। उनकेे नेतृत्व में गए इस प्रतिनिधिमंडल ने 5 कार्यदिवसों में लंदन के कई विश्वविद्यालयों से 20 बैठकें की। उन्होंने बताया कि लंदन का किंग्स कॉलेज के साथ हरियाणा के सिविल कर्मचारियों व तकनीकी क्षेत्र के अध्यापकों को प्रशिक्षित करने के लिए एक अंतर्राष्ट्रीय प्रशिक्षण केंद्र स्थापित करने पर सहमति बनी है।
राम बिलास शर्मा आज यहां हरियाणा निवास में पत्रकार वार्ता को संबोधित कर रहे थे। उन्होंने बताया कि हमने भविष्य को देखते हुए यूनिवर्सिटी ऑफ नॉर्थम्पटन तथा नॉट्टिïंघम ट्रंट यूनिवर्सिटी यू.के के साथ एमओयू पर हस्ताक्षर किए हैं ताकि हमारे राज्य में प्रगतिशील-इकोसिस्टम स्थापित हो सके। उन्होंने बताया कि एनटीपीसी ग्रुप ऑफ कॉलेजिज के साथ हमारा एमओयू प्रक्रियाधीन है। ये ग्रुप हमारे राज्य में शैक्षणिक प्रशिक्षण के माध्यम से वोकेशनल स्किलस एजूकेशन तथा अध्यापकों की टे्रनिंग को अपग्रेड करने और राज्य में स्थापित होने वाले इन्क्यूबेटर सैंटर के लिए एक इको-सिस्टम बनाने में सहायता प्रदान करने पर सहमत हो गया है। उन्होंने बताया कि हमारा लंदन यूनिवर्सिटी के साथ पैरलल डिग्री को लेकर एमओयू प्रक्रियाधीन है। इसके अलावा, लंदन यूनिवर्सिटी ने हरियाणा के साथ कंप्यूटर साईंस/साइबर साईंस तथा एमएससी डाटा साईंस के लिए हमारी टैक्रीकल यूनिवर्सिटीज में विच्र्युवल लर्निंग के माहौल में पैरलल डिग्री चलाने पर सहमति व्यक्त की है। कॉवेंटरी यूनिवर्सिटी के साथ एमओयू प्रक्रियाधीन है।
शिक्षा मंत्री ने बताया कि लंदन के दौरे में पाठ्यचर्या विकास, योग्यता फ्रेमवर्क, फैकल्टी एक्सचेंज एवं विजिट, स्टूडेंटस एक्सचेंज, कौशल, तकनीकी शिक्षा, संयुक्त शैक्षणिक अनुसंधान, अनुसंधान का व्यवसायीकरण, वित्त पोषण के अवसर, उद्यमिता , नवाचार और इन्क्यूबेंशन केंद्र और प्लेसमेंट जैसे विषयों पर विस्तार से चर्चा हुई।उन्होंने बताया कि प्रतिनिधिमंडल ने यूनिवर्सिटी ऑफ मिडलशेक्श, यूनिवर्सिटी ऑफ लंदन, ऑक्सफ़ोर्ड इनोवेशन लैब, कैम्ब्रिज यूनिवर्सिटी, यूके यूनिवर्सिटीज इंटरनेशनल, एसोसिएशन ऑफ कॉमन-वेल्थ यूनिवर्सिटीज, यू.के के शिक्षा विभाग और बीईआईएस यूके, इंस्टीट्यूट ऑफ अपरेंटिसशिप एंड टेक्निकल एजुकेशन यूके, प्रिंस ट्रस्ट इंटरनेशनल, स्कॉटिश चेम्बर्स ऑफ कॉमर्स, हाउस ऑफ लॉड्र्स क्वीन मैरी रेजिलिएंट फ्यूचर्स इंडिया इनिशिएटिव और बर्मिंगम यूनिवर्सिटी का भी दौरा किया। उन्होंने बताया कि स्कॉटिश चैम्बर ऑफ कॉमर्स का प्रतिनिधिमंडल भारत का दौरा कर रहा है, वह भविष्य में साझेदारी की संभावनाओं के मद्देनजर 22 जुलाई 2019 को हरियाणा तकनीकी शिक्षा विभाग के पंचकूला स्थित निदेशालय का दौरा भी करेगा।

The two day national conference titled ‘Draft New Education Policy 2019 : A Way Ahead’ concluded at Panjab University here today with recommendations and suggestions made by stakeholders to the draft of New Education Policy.
The valedictory session of the conference had a special address by Prof. Nagesh Thakur, member UGC. He spoke about integration of teaching and research, about relevance of values and ethics and the significance of mother tongue in teaching.
Prof. Raj Kumar, Vice Chancellor, PU, in his address stated that optimum utilization of technology can help achieve better reach in education. He focused on including the component of ‘employability’ in the curricula. Prof Kumar also spoke about the concept of ‘resource sharing’ and developing business models for self sustenance.
Earlier, the first session for the day was on ‘Governance and Administration of Education and Research’ and was chaired by Prof. Ramanjit Johal. The panellists for the session included Prof. Archana Bhatnagar and Prof. Khushwinder Singh. The session saw deliberations on functions of regulatory bodies and accreditation agencies.
The second session for the day was a round table discussion and compilation of recommendations. The key issues raised included funding, teachers’ status, choice based credit system to name a few. Prof Krishan Kumar raised the important issue of constructing a norm on how teachers should be treated at educational institutes. Prof Rajat Sandhir raised the issue of paying heed to manpower along with developing infrastructures.
Dr. Kuldeep Kaur, Co-coordinator CALEM presented the report of the conference and Prof. Latika Sharma proposed the vote of thanks.
The two day conference was organized by Centre for Academic Leadership and Education Management (CALEM) and Department of Education, PU, under the aegis of PMMMNMTT, Ministry of Human Resource Development, GOI. The recommendations made during the conference will be compiled in the form of a compendium.
Around 50 who participated from the States of Punjab, Haryana and UT, Chandigarh included Chairpersons, Directors, Principals, Faculty and other stakeholders. There were 16 Resource persons for various sessions.

योजना के लाभ के लिए किसान 19 जुलाई तक कर सकते हैं आवेदन
प्रधानमंत्री किसान समान निधि योजना का लाभ अब 5 एकड़ से अधिक भूमि वाले किसान को भी मिलेगा। योजना के लाभ के लिए 19 जुलाई तक किसानों से आवेदन प्राप्त किए जाएंगे। इस कार्य के लिए टीमें गठित की गई हैं, जो गांव-गांव जाकर किसानों से योजना के आवेदन प्राप्त करेंगी।
योजना के तहत गांव-गांव जाकर आवेदन प्राप्त करने के लिए गांव स्तर पर 329 टीमें गठित
यह जानकारी देते हुए अशोक कुमार गर्ग ने बताया कि प्रधानमंत्री किसान स मान निधि योजना के लिए पहले जहां पांच एकड़ तक के किसानों को ही दायरे में रखा गया था। योजना का लाभ अधिक से अधिक किसानों को मिले, इस उद्ेश्य से अब पांच एकड़ से अधिक भूमि वाले किसान भी आवेदन कर सकते हैं। उन्होंने बताया कि जिला में किसानों की सुविधा के लिए आवेदन प्राप्त करने के लिए गांव स्तर पर 329 टीमें बनाई गई है जिनमें पटवारी, कृषि अधिकारी, ग्राम सचिव शामिल होंगे। उन्होंने बताया कि ये टीमें प्रत्येक गांव में जाकर राजस्व विभाग से प्राप्त पात्र किसानों की सूची अनुसार उनका पंजीकरण करेगी। इन टीमों की देखरेख के लिए कलस्टर सुपरवाईजर व नोडल अधिकारी भी नियुक्त किए गए हैं।
उप निदेशक कृषि डा. बाबूलाल ने बताया कि परिवार की परिभाषा में पति, पत्नी व नाबालिग बच्चे शामिल होंगे। इस योजना का लाभ केवल जमीन के मालिक को ही दिया जाएग न कि ठेके पर काश्त करने वाले को। उन्होंने बताया कि संवैधानिक पदों पर कार्यरत या सेवानिवृत व्यक्ति इस योजना के पात्र नहीं होंगे। उन्होंने बताया कि इस योजना का लाभ श्रेणी-प्रथम, द्वितीय व तृतीय श्रेणी के अधिकारी व कर्मचारियों (केन्द्रीय/राज्य/पीएसयू/लोकल बॉडीज/ऑटोनोमस इंस्टीट्यूशन) को नहीं मिलेगा तथा इन पदों से रिटायर्ड या वर्तमान अधिकारी व कर्मचारी भी इस स्कीम में पात्र नहीं होंगे।
