केंद्रीय जलशक्ति, सामाजिक न्याय एवं अधिकारिता राज्य मंत्री रतनलाल कटारिया ने कहा कि प्रधानमंत्री श्री नरेंद्र मोदी के आह्वान पर देश में हर घर तक नल से जल पंहुचाने के लिये जल जीवन मिशन आरंभ किया गया है। इस लक्ष्य को हासिल करने के लिये केंद्रीय जलशक्ति मंत्रालय द्वारा देश के अलग अलग हिस्सों में क्षेत्रीय कार्यशालायें आयोजित करके राज्य सरकारों को जल जीवन मिशन के तहत किये जाने वाले कार्यों के लिये प्रेरित किया जा रहा है। 

श्री कटारिया आज सेक्टर-3 होटल होलिडे इन में केंद्रीय जलशक्ति मंत्रालय द्वारा उतरी राज्यों के लिये आयोजित दो दिवसीय कार्यशाला के शुभारंभ के उपरांत मीडिया से बातचीत कर रहे थे। इन राज्यों में पंजाब, हरियाणा, हिमाचल प्रदेश, जम्मू कश्मीर, उतर प्रदेश, उतराखंड, दिल्ली और केंद्र शासित प्रदेश चंडीगढ़ शामिल है। उन्होंने कहा कि पूरे देश में इस तरह की पांच क्षेत्रीय कार्यशालायें आयोजित की जायेंगी। 

उन्होंने कहा कि वर्तमान में देश के लगभग साढे 3 करोड़ घरों में नल से जल की आपूर्ति हो रही है और अभी लगभग साढ़े 13 करोड़ घरों में नल से जल की आपूर्ति की व्यवस्था की जानी है। उन्होंने कहा कि इस लक्ष्य को पंाच वर्षों में चरणबद्ध तरीके से हासिल किया जायेगा। चालू वित वर्ष में जल जीवन मिशन के लिये 36 हजार करोड़ के बजट की व्यवस्था की गई है, जिसमें से 20768 करोड केंद्र सरकार द्वारा उपलब्ध करवाया जायेगा और शेष राशि राज्य सरकारें अपने स्तर पर खर्च करेंगी।  उन्होंने कहा कि जल की उपलब्धता को लेकर अलग अलग राज्यों की अपनी चुनौतियां है और उन चुनौतियों के मुताबिक ही राज्य सरकारें कार्य योजना तैयार कर रही है। उन्होंने बताया कि पंजाब और हरियाणा में जहां गिरते भू जल स्तर की समस्या हैं वहीं पहाड़ी राज्यों में दुर्गंम स्थानों तक पानी की आपूर्ति पंहुचाने जैसी चुनौतियां है। इसी प्रकार उतर प्रदेश जैसे बड़े राज्यों में अलग तरह की चुनौतियां है और इसीलिये क्षेत्रीय कार्यशाला आयोजित करके वहां के वरिष्ठ अधिकारियों के साथ जल जीवन मिशन के प्रभावी कार्य योजनाओं पर चर्चाएं की जा रही है। उन्होंने कहा कि इस मिशन के प्रभावी क्रियांवयन के लिये पांच स्तर पर कार्य किया जायेगा, जिसमें केंद्रीय स्तरीय समिति, राज्य स्तरीय जल समिति, जिला और स्थानीय निकाय व ग्राम पंचायत स्तर की समितियां बनाने के साथ साथ गैर सरकारी संगठनों और समाज के लोगों को साथ जोड़ने की गतिविधियां चलाई जायेंगी।

  केंद्रीय जल शक्ति राज्यमंत्री ने कहा कि हर घर तक नल से जल पंहुचाने की योजना के साथ साथ जल को उपलब्ध स्त्रोतों के प्रभावी प्रबंधन और भूजल स्तर की उपलब्धता की जानकारियां जुटाने के लिये शोध कार्य भी किये जा रहे है। उन्होंने कहा कि देश के 1500 विकास खंड गिरते भू स्तर के कारण डार्क जोन में आ चुके है और कई ऐसे विकास खंड है जो डार्क जोन की ओर बढ़ रहे है। उन्होंने कहा कि  इन सभी समस्याओं के समाधान के लिये भी केंद्रीय स्तर पर और राज्य सरकारों के स्तर पर कार्य किया जा रहा है। मीडिया द्वारा पूछे गये प्रश्न के उतर पर श्री कटारिया ने कहा कि देश में प्राकृतिक जल स्त्रोतों के बेहतर प्रबंधन के लिये नदियों को जोड़ने की योजना पर भी गहनता से विचार किया जा रहा है। एसवाईएल से संबंधित एक अन्य प्रश्न पर उन्होंने कहा कि राज्य सरकार ने न्यायालय में अपना पक्ष बजबूती से रखा है और अब तक के निर्णय हरियाणा के पक्ष में रहे है। उन्होंने कहा कि अब न्यायालय द्वारा दोनों राज्य सरकारों व केंद्र सरकार को मामले का हल निकालने और हल न निकलने की स्थिति में न्यायालय द्वारा फैसला देने की बात कहीं गई है और ऐसी स्थिति में कोई भी अन्य टिप्पणी करना उचित नहीं है। 

इस दो दिवसीय कार्यशाला में प्रथम दिन विभिन्न राज्यों द्वारा अपनाई जा रही पेयजल योजनाओं पर चर्चा की गई। इसके अलावा विशेषज्ञों द्वारा गुजरात में पेयजल आपूर्ति, सिवरेज और प्रयोग किये गये पानी के वैज्ञानिक प्रबंधन मॉडल पर चर्चा की गई। इसके अलावा हरियाणा और पंजाब सरकारों द्वारा जल प्रबंधन के लिये किये जा रहे कार्य पर चचा्र हुई। इसी प्रकार 4 सितंबर को जल जीवन मिशन के लिये सभी प्रतिभागी राज्यों द्वारा अपनाई जाने वाली नीतियों पर चर्चा होगी और केंद्र सरकार के अधिकारियों द्वारा इस मिशन की सफलता के लिये विशेषज्ञों द्वारा सुझायें गये विभिन्न उपायों पर जानकारी उपलब्ध करवाई जायेगी। 

इस अवसर पर जनस्वास्थ्य एवं अभियांत्रिकी विभाग हरियाणा के अतिरिक्त मुख्य सचिव राजीव अरोड़ा, इंजीनियर एंड चीफ मनपाल सिंह और केंद्रीय जल शक्ति मंत्रालय तथा विभिन्न राज्यों से आये अधिकारी उपस्थित थे।

खबरों के मुताबिक आज वायुसेना प्रमुख एयर चीफ मार्शल बी एस धनोआ पंजाब के पठानकोट एयरबेस पर इन हेलिकॉप्टरों को शामिल कराएंगे।

दुश्मन के दांत खट्टे करने के लिए भारतीय वायुसेना के बेड़े में आज 8 अपाचे हेलिकॉप्टर शामिल होंगे। अपाचे हेलिकॉप्टर दुनिया के सबसे बेहतरीन लड़ाकू विमानों में से एक माने जाते हैं।

खबरों के मुताबिक आज वायुसेना प्रमुख एयर चीफ मार्शल बी एस धनोआ पंजाब के पठानकोट एयरबेस पर इन हेलिकॉप्टरों को शामिल कराएंगे। दो पायलट का होना है जरूरी जानकारी के लिए आपको बता दें कि अपाचे हेलिकॉप्टर को उड़ाने के लिए 2 पायलट होने जरूरी हैं।

इस हेलिकॉप्टर में दो इंजन हैं साथ ही दो सीटें हैं। दो इंजन होने की वहज से इसकी रफ्तार बहुत तेज है। हेलिकॉप्टर की अधिकतम स्पीड 280 किलोमीटर प्रति घंटा है। इस हेलिकॉप्टर में एक खास बात यह भी है कि इसमें सेंसर भी लगा है, इस वजह से रात में भी ऑपरेशन को अंजाम दे सकता है और इसे रडार पर पकड़ना मुश्किल होता है।

गौरतलब है कि अपाचे हेलिकॉप्टर अमेरिका में बनाए गए हैं। अपाचे हेलिकॉप्टर AH-64E दुनिया का सबसे एडवांस मल्टी रोल कॉम्बेट हेलिकॉप्टर है।

AH-64E अपाचे दुनिया के सबसे उन्नत बहु-भूमिका लड़ाकू हेलिकॉप्टरों में से एक है। इसे अमेरिकी सेना भी इस्तेमाल करती है है। भारतीय वायुसेना के एक वरिष्ठ अधिकारी ने बताया कि अपाचे अटैक के आठ हेलिकॉप्टरों को पठानकोट एयरबेस पर तैनाती तय है। इससे वायुसेना के लड़ाकू क्षमता में बढ़ोत्तरी होगी।

सितंबर 2015 में भारत-अमेरिका के बीच अपाचे हेलिकॉप्टरों की बड़ी डील हुई थी। जिसमें 22 अपाचे हेलिकॉप्टरों भारत को मिलने वाले हैं। इससे जुलाई को 4 हेलिकॉप्टर मिल चुके हैं, अब 8 हेलिकॉप्टर मंगलवार को मिल रहे हैं।

Adviser dedicates cremation ground, Ind. area, Phase-I, Chandigarh

Chandigarh, September-2:- Sh. Manoj Kumar Parida, IAS, Adviser to the Administrator, UT, Chandigarh today dedicated the Cremation Ground to public at Indl. Area, Ph-I, Chandigarh in presence of Sh. Rajesh Kumar, Mayor, Sh. K.K. Yadav, IAS, Commissioner, Sh. S.K. Jain, Additional Commissioner, Sh. Shakti Parkash Devshali, area councillor and other senior officers of Municipal Corporation, Chandigarh.

          All the unclaimed dead bodies of Chandigarh will be cremated in this cremation ground. The MCC has started death certificate registration facility in this ground and the material i.e. wood and ‘Samagri’ etc. required in the cremation will be made available at the ground.

This cremation ground is spread over 2.25 acres area covered with boundary wall all around the cremation ground campus.  There are 36 Pyre Platforms with 05 of them provided with G.I. Sheet shed and to accommodate near about 500 persons, there is 32’x183’ RCC roof shed with seating facility.  The MCC has provided drinking water facility besides separate ladies and gents toilet/bathroom block and residence accommodation for attendant.

The Municipal Corporation Chandigarh has awarded work to run & operate this cremation ground to M/s Trikaldarshi Sewa Dal, #803-A, Pandit Deendayal Upadhaya Complex, Industrial Area, phase-1, Chandigarh, Contact No. 9041784130, 9464395716.

According to the MoU the period of operation is initially for ten years and the same will be extended to another five years after assessing its performance. The procurement of fuel wood/other material will be arranged by the NGO and will be issued own no profit no loss basis and rates duly approved by the MC, Chandigarh. To maintain Cleanliness, Sanitary Condition, Greenery, drinking Water facility, Urinals & Toilets etc. is the duty of NGO. To maintain records and accounts including donation to to be funds and other monetary gain at Cremation Ground from General Public is the duty of the Cremation Ground. The organization shall clear Electricity & Water bill of their own level and to submit bi-monthly report of the same to MCC. The organization will disposed off unclaimed dead bodies as per MCC Policy. The organization will maintain Complaints book in the Cremation Ground.

                        On this occasion, Sh. D .M. S. Bedi, Chairman, INSPIRE, highlighted the activities of the institution and welcomed Dr. Harinder Singh Bedi and Dr. Gurpreet Singh, who are  from Ivy Hospital, Mohali.

                        Dr. Harinder Singh Bedi  (A Renowned Heart Specialist of the region), who is Director & Head, Cardiac Surgery at Ivy Hospital, Mohali interacted with participants on the topic ” How to Keep Your Heart Healthy”. Dr. Bedi gave tips for healthy heart by incorporating stress management, exercise, diet, avoidance of tobacco and regular check-ups, besides stressing on the importance of Yoga.

                         While interacting, he said “Today India is home to one out of every 10 senior citizens in the world.  With life expectancy increasing to 75.5 years, octogenarians constitute about 3 per cent of the population.  The older population in India, which was 56.7 million in 1991 and 72 million in 2001, is expected to grow to 137 million by  2021.” He said age is a risk factor for the development of coronary artery disease and the incidence of symptomatic coronary artery disease (CAD) requiring coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG) in the elderly is bound to increase. Around 40% of all octogenarians have symptomatic cardiovascular disease and a significant number of these may benefit from surgery.

                        Dr. Gurpreet Singh, Sr. Consultant-Internal Medicine, Ivy Hospital, Mohali interacted with the participants on topic ” Diabetes Management & Stress Management “.

                        Sh. Purushotam Mehta, Advisor, INSPIRE expressed Vote of Thanks and thanked the esteemed faculty, the participants and the management of Ivy Hospital for arranging an excellent Health Seminar for the members of INSPIRE.

MCC issues 104 challans for C&D waste violator throughout city

Chandigarh, August 31: – Following the directions of Sh. K.K. Yadav, IAS, Commissioner, Municipal Corporation Chandigarh, the B& R wing of MCC has issued challan to 104 violators from 9th August to 31st August, 2019 under Construction and Demolition waste provision.

As per the orders, the B&R wing, MCC today challened near about 60 violators throughout the city. Most of challans were issued to the residential violators having Rs. 1000/- penalty and challans were also made of commercial violations having Rs. 5000/- fine which will be recovered through water bill of the violators.

The commissioner appealed to the city residents not to stack their Construction and Demolition Waste outside their residence/Public places. He said that strict action would be taken against the violators.

He further said that MCC has established Construction and Demolition Waste Processing Plant at Industrial area Phase-I, Chandigarh and it is advised to the general public that the processed material i.e. washed sandstone aggregate would be sent to the C&D waste plant for its technical as well as scientific solution.

The public is also advised to approach MCC for lifting of their C&D waste material from their household/Commercial places in Mobile  7277190778.

29 अगस्त को फिट इंडिया मूवमैंट कार्यक्रम के तहत जिला पंचकूला में विभिन्न गतिविधियां आयोजित की जायेंगी। इस दिन प्रातः 8.15 बजे सामुदायिक केंद्र सेक्टर-12ए पंचकूला से मैराथन आरंभ होगी और मैराथन के उपरांत सभी प्रतिभागी सामुदायिक केंद्र के कार्यक्रम में शामिल होंगे। उन्होंने बताया कि 10 से 12 बजे तक प्रधानमंत्री श्री नरेंद्र मोदी सीधे प्रसारण के माध्यम से देशवासियों को इस मूवमैंट का संदेश भी देंगे।

उपायुक्त मुकेश कुमार आहूजा ने बताया कि जिला में फिट इंडिया मूवमैंट के तहत विभिन्न विभागों द्वारा चलाई जाने वाली गतिविधयों के समन्वय के लिये अतिरिक्त उपायुक्त उत्तम सिंह को नोडल अधिकारी बनाया गया है। उन्होंने बताया कि इस दिन जिला स्तर पर शपथ ग्रहण समारोह जिला सचिवालय के बैठक हाल में आयोजित किया जायेगा। इसके अलावा सभी राजकीय और प्राईवेट शिक्षण संस्थानों, आईटीआई, स्कूल व काॅलेज में भी फिट इंडिया मूवमैंट की शपथ ली जायेगी। 

उन्होंने बताया कि ग्रामीण क्षेत्र तक इस मूवमैंट में जनता की भागीदारी सुनिश्चित करने के लिये सभी खंड विकास एवं पंचायत अधिकारी कार्यालय तथा पंचायती राज संस्थाओं, सभी राजकीय अस्पातलों, प्राथमिक स्वास्थ्य केंद्रों, सामुदायिक स्वास्थ्य केंद्रों, आयुर्वेंदि डिस्पेंसरियों, नगर निगम द्वारा निर्धारित सार्वजनिक स्थानों पर फिट इंडिया मूवमैंट की शपथ ली जायेगी। इसके अलवा खिलाड़ियों और पुलिस कर्मियों की प्रतिभागिता के साथ फिट इंडिया मैराथन का कार्यक्रम तय करने के निर्देश भी दिये गये है।
