उपायुक्त मुकेश कुमार आहूजा ने बताया कि पोलिया अभियान के दौरान उच्च जोखिम वाले क्षेत्रों में रह रहे जन्म से पांच वर्ष तक के लगभग 20656 बच्चों को पोलियो की दवा पिलाने का लक्ष्य रखा गया है। इनमें से ग्रामीण क्षेत्र के 15452 तथा शहरी क्षेत्र के 5202 बच्चे शामिल है। उन्होंने बताया कि इनमें से 14717 बच्चों एवं शहरी क्षेत्र के 5622 बच्चों को पोलियो की खुराक पिलाई गई है।

32487 students today Appeared for Online Exam by PU

Chandigarh September 21, 2020

Around 32,487 students of Undergraduate/Post Graduate/Other Professional Courses including USOL/Private have appeared today in the first ever online examination conducted by Panjab University which commenced on 17 September, informed Prof Parvinder Singh, Controller of Examination.Total of 100 exams were conducted today.The examinations are being conducted in 3 slabs of 9am – 11 am, 10 am – 12 pm and 2 pm – 4 pm.

CoE informed that all the Colleges/Departments downloaded the question papers as per the scheduled time from PU Website and official email IDs provided to them. The question papers were further distributed to students through various electronic modes.

पंचकूला 21 सितम्बर – उपायुक्त मुकेश कुमार आहूजा ने बताया कि जिला में सोमवार को 75 मामले पोजिटिव आए। इनमें 50 मामले पंचकूला से सबंधित है। अब तक जिला में कुल 6834 मामले आए हैं जिनमें से 5110 पंचकूला के हैं। इनमें से 3773 कोरोना रोगी ठीक हो गए हैं तथा अब जिला में 1270 मामले एक्टिव रह गए है और 59226 व्यक्तियों के आरटी, पीसीआर, रेपिड एंटीजन नमूने लिए गए।


उपायुक्त ने बताया कि बुढनपुर, बीड घग्गर, ढण्डारूडू, औद्योगिक क्षेत्र, खड़क मंगोली, जलोली, एमडीसी सैक्टर 4, महेशपुर, ंिपंजौर, रायपुर रानी, रैली, रामगढ, टिपरा, सैक्टर 10, 12, 12 ए, 19, 27, 28 में एक-एक मामला पोजिटिव आया है। इसी प्रकार बरवाला, पुलिस लाईन, सैक्टर 7 में दो दो, गढी कोताहा, शाहपुर, सैक्टर 16 व 20 में तीन तीन, सैक्टर 8, व 15 में चार चार, सैक्टर 11 में पांच मामले पोजिटिव आए है।

Commissioner inaugurates integrated call centre for Municipal Services

Launches new complaint number 01722787200

Chandigarh, September 21:- Sh. K.K. Yadav, IAS, Commissioner, Municipal Corporation Chandigarh-cum-CEO-Chandigarh Smart City Ltd. today inaugurated an integrated call center for all Municipal Services of Chandigarh and launched new complaint number 01722787200.

Ms. Prabha Goyal, General Manager, Bharat Electronics Limited, Panchkula, Sh. Anil Kumar Garg, Additional Commissioner-cum-Additional CEO, CSCL, Sh. N.P. Sharma, Chief General Manager, CSCL and other officers were present during the launch. 

The Commissioner said that this call center shall be the part of Integrated Command and Control Center which is being developed by Bharat Electronics Limited. This center shall cater to services like grievance management, online building permissions and other municipal services.

He said that the request given to this call center shall be allocated to the field officers in real time and the complainant shall receive an SMS on their registered mobile number with the unique ID of the complaint, which can be further used for tracking of their complaint.

The Commissioner said that citizens can also reopen their complaints in case the service given to them was not complete. Also, in case the complaint is not attended by the field officers, the complaint shall be automatically escalated to the higher officers. This shall make governance more effective and accessible in the city.

With the launch of new complaint number, all the previous complaint numbers, which are being used for grievance redressal form including 155304 have been closed and only 01722787200 will be now functional. The call centre will operate 24×7 with trained staff.

बरकरार रहेगा किसानों का एमएसपी का अधिकार, कोई आंच आई तो छोड़ दूंगा पद – दुष्यंत चौटाला

चंडीगढ़, 20 सितंबर। उपमुख्यमंत्री दुष्यंत चौटाला ने कहा है कि केंद्र सरकार के कृषि संबंधित नए अध्यादेशों में कहीं भी फसलों के एमएसपी को समाप्त करने की बात नहीं कही गई है। किसानों की फसल अनाज मंडियों में बिना किसी रूकावट के निर्धारित न्यूनतम समर्थन मूल्य (एमएसपी) पर ही खरीदी जाएंगी और ज्यादा कीमत का अवसर मिलने पर किसान चाहेंगे तो ओपन मार्केट में भी बेच सकेंगे। जिस दिन अन्नदाताओं को उनकी फसल का एमएसपी देने की व्यवस्था पर कोई आंच आएगी, उसी दिन मैं अपना पद छोड़ दूंगा। प्रदेश के उपमुख्यमंत्री दुष्यंत चौटाला ने रविवार को चंडीगढ़ स्थित अपने आवास पर पत्रकारों के सवालों के जबाव में ये बातें कही। दुष्यंत चौटाला ने कहा कि किसानों के लिए एमएसपी का अधिकार बरकरार रहेगा और इस विषय पर आम लोग किसी के बहकावे में ना आएं।

डिप्टी सीएम ने कांग्रेस को आड़े हाथों लेते हुए कहा कि पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री भूपेंद्र सिंह हुड्डा अपने राजनीतिक स्वार्थ की खातिर भोले-भाले किसानों को गुमराह करने में लगे हुए हैं। उन्होंने कहा कि नए अध्यादेशों का विरोध करने वाले भूपेंद्र सिंह हुड्डा ने मुख्यमंत्री रहते हुए ना केवल ओपन मार्किट की वकालत की थी बल्कि केंद्र की तात्कालिक मनमोहन सिंह सरकार द्वारा गठित समिति के चेयरमैन के तौर पर इन सिफारिशों पर दस्तख़त भी किए थे। उन्होंने हुड्डा से सवाल किया कि वे किसानों को बताएं कि उनके इस दोगली नीति को अपनाने के पीछे क्या मजबूरी है और कांग्रेस प्रदेश के किसानों को क्यूं गुमराह कर रही है। दुष्यंत चौटाला ने कहा कि यूपीए सरकार के पहले कार्यकाल में भी कांग्रेस पार्टी के विजन डॉक्यूमेंट में कॉन्ट्रेक्ट फार्मिंग की वकालत की गई थी, लेकिन राजनीति से विवश कांग्रेसी आज व्यवस्था का विरोध कर रहे हैं जबकि यह किसानों के लिए खुशहाली के नए रास्ते खोलने वाला कदम है।

उपमुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि इस बार अगले माह से खरीफ फसलों का एक-एक दाना तय न्यूनतम समर्थन मूल्य पर खरीदा जाएगा। उन्होंने किसानों की शंकाओं को दूर करते हुए कहा कि बाजरा, धान के अलावा पहली बार मक्के की फसल की भी सरकार एमएसपी पर खरीद करेगी। सरकार द्वारा की गई खरीफ की फसल खरीद का भुगतान एक सप्ताह के भीतर-भीतर किसानों के खाते में कर दिया जाएगा। उन्होंने कहा कि मेरे लिए किसान के हित सर्वोपरी है। किसानों को लेकर उनकी नीयत में ना कभी कोई खोट आया और ना आगे कभी आएगा।

A webinar on “Design for Life” A Creative Kaleidoscopic Process, organised by Dr. Prabhdip Brar, Chairperson, University Institute of Fashion Technology and Vocational Development (UIFT&VD), Panjab University on Friday, Sep 18, 2020, was presented by Siddhartha Bansal, a fashion Designer. The inspiration for the designers’ collections has been ” Golden bird” i.e. India, with an aim to present the rich Craft and Culture to the world. His collections provide a traditional experience through clothes with feminine cuts, fusing them with fresh colour combinations and intricate detailed motifs. Kaleidoscopic prints mainly inspired from Indian mythological characters is the label’s USP. His Autumn/Winter 2015, Lakme Fashion Week collection was based on a ‘Kamdhenu Cow’ which is a mythical wish granting cows. Intricate motifs from Persian era on doors and pillars were taken as an inspiration for prints in his Spring Summer LFW’16 collection ‘THE DOOR’. Mughal motifs, desert cacti, peacock, blooming lotuses were seen and celebrated.

The designer keeps playing with innovative intangible themes for his collections. ‘GAMECHANGER’ A/W’16, the collection addressed the dilemma one is being unable to choose between money or his soul. Snakes and eye motifs were incorporated in prints. Similarly, his A/W LFW’17 collection, portrayed a story of a traveller wandering from west to east and is awestruck by India’s beauty. Metamorphosis was the successful theme for his S/S’18 collection. Kaleidoscopic butterfly prints, Pastel colours and 80’s fashion trends were high points of the garments.

ओजोन फोर लाईफ विषय पर क्वीज प्रतियोगिता-प्रोमिला मलिक

पंचकूला 19 सितम्बर श्रीमती अरूणा आसफ अली महाविद्यालय कालका में ईको क्लब एवं इंन्वायरमेंट एवेरनैस क्लब के संयुक्त सहयोग से ओजोन डे पर आॅनलाईन क्वीज प्रतियोगिता का आयोजन करवाया गया।


प्राध्यापक बिन्दु ने इस संबध में जानकारी देते हुए बताया कि संयुक्त राष्ट्र की थीम ‘-ओजोन फोर लाईफ-विषय को बढावा देते हुए सभी सदस्यों ने अपने अपने व्हाटसअप पर ओजोन फोर लाईफ का फोटो लगाकर विद्यार्थियों को इस मुहिम से जोड़कर जागरूकता फैलाई। इस दिवस पर कालेज के व्हाटसअप, टवीटर एवं इंस्टाग्राम पर ओजोन परत की फोटो वीडियो अपलोड की गई ताकि विद्यार्थियांे के साथ साथ अन्य लोगों को भी जानकारी हो सके ओर सामाजिक प्रयास से इस परत में होने वाली हानि को रोका जा सके।


विद्यार्थियों के लिए आयोजित इंटर कालेज ओनलाईन क्वीज प्रतियोगिता में 19 महाविद्यालयों एवं देशभर के 10 विश्वविद्यालयों के 476 विद्यार्थियों ने भाग लिया। इनमें से 280 विद्यार्थी सफलतापूवर्क निर्धारित सीमा में क्वीज रिसंपोस जमा करवा पाए। इनमें प्रथम स्थान प्राप्त करने वाले आरकेएसडी कालेज कैथल के हिमांशु शर्मा ने सबसे कम समय में उत्तर देकर यह उपलब्धि हासिल की। दूसरे स्थान पर जीवीएम सोनीपता की भावना और तीसरे स्थान पर हिन्दू गल्र्स कालेज की आशु रही।

पंचकूला 19 सितम्बर – उपायुक्त मुकेश कुमार आहूजा ने बताया कि जिला में रविवार को 157 मामले पोजिटिव आए। अब तक जिला में कुल 6574 मामले आए हैं जिनमें से 4927 पंचकूला के हैं। इनमें से 3544 कोरोना रोगी ठीक हो गए हैं तथा अब जिला में 1321 मामले एक्टिव रह गए है और 58450 व्यक्तियों के आरटी, पीसीआर, रेपिड एंटीजन नमूने लिए गए।
