This new retail outlet commissioned today in Industrial area shall be operated by Municipal Corporation, Chandigarh and will help in better serving the customers of the tri-city by reducing their traveling time for fuel requirements.

Speaking on the occasion, the Administrator complimented Municipal Corporation Chandigarh for the expedition of NOCs for the best sites of the city and team of MCC officers for the exceptional efforts for commissioning of all the new retail outlets in a record time.

While speaking on the occasion, Smt. Raj Bala Malik, Mayor said that this new Retail outlet at Industrial Area which has been inaugurated today is at vantage point of entrance to Chandigarh while coming from Delhi and has a great sales potential. She also elaborated on the various new initiatives taken by the Municipal Corporation expressed her gratitude to the Governor under whose vision and leadership, the second strategic retail outlet in Chandigarh city was dedicated to the people of Tri-city today.

Sh. K.K. Yadav, IAS, Commissioner, MC said that this fully automated Retail Outlet has been designed with state-of-the-art facilities wherein customers shall receive e-receipts after the purchase of fuel. Provisions have also been made for providing green fuels like CNG/EV charging which shall be launched in due course of time.  Indian Oil’s branded petrol XTRAPREMIUM with super cleansers also available at both of the MC’s fuel outlets.

Mr Sujoy Choudhury, Executive Director & State Head, Punjab State Office, earlier in his welcome address, thanked all the dignitaries who joined physically and though virtual mode. He expressed his gratitude towards the Municipal Corporation for providing full support in this endeavor.

पंचकूला के सार्थक स्कूल मे आयोजित कार्यक्रम में हरियाणा विधानसभा अध्यक्ष ज्ञानचंद गुप्ता ने कहा कि योग को जन-जन तक पहुचाकर ढाई करोड हरियाणावासियों के स्वास्थ्य को ध्यान में रखते हुए योग, व्यायाम एवं खेल को उनके जीवन का अभिन्न अंग बनाने के दृष्टिकोण से हरियाणा के 6500 गांवो में से प्रथम चरण में 1000 से अधिक ग्रामों में योग व्यायामषालाओं को आरम्भ करने का निर्णय लिया गया था। जिसमें से 560 व्यायामषालाएं बन चुकी हैं, और 600 व्यायामषालाएं अभी निर्माणाधीन हैं। उन्होंने कहा कि योग को बढावा देने के लिए हमने हरियाणा योग परिषद् का गठन किया है। बहुत षीघ्र ही 1000 आयुष योग सहायकों की नियुक्ति आरम्भ करने वाले है और जिला स्तर पर 22 आयुष योग षिक्षकों की नियुक्ति होने जा रही है। उन्होंने कहा कि विद्यार्थी काल में खेल के माध्यम से योग के प्रवेष से जीवन अनुषासित एवं संस्कारित होगा। उन्होंने हरियाणा योग परिषद्, हरियाणा स्कूल षिक्षा परियोजना परिषद् एवं पतंजलि योगपीठ सहित अन्य योग संस्थानों की इस योग षिविर के आयोजन, संचालन और नियोजन में सहयोग करने हेतु प्रषंसा की।


श्री गुुप्ता ने कहा कि कोरोना महामारी से मैं स्वयं पीडित हुआ और मैने पाया कि पूर्ण स्वस्थ होने में, इम्यूनिटी को बढ़ाने में योग व प्राणायाम का महत्वपूर्ण योगदान है। उन्होंने दैनिक जीवन में योग एवं प्राणायाम के नित्य अभ्यास करने पर बल दिया तथा सम्पूर्ण स्वास्थ्य के लिए महर्षि पतंजलि प्रणीत अष्टांग योग को अपनाने का आह्वान किया। योग को षिक्षा पाठ्यक्रम एवं योगासनों को खेल से जोड़ने के विचार का स्वागत करते हुए मुख्यमंत्री की दूरदृष्टि तथा हरियाणा प्रदेष के प्रत्येक नागरिक को योग साधना से रोगमुक्त बनाए रखने की योजना का अभिनंदन किया।

डा0 जयदीप आर्य ने योग को पाठ्यक्रम में विधिवत् जोड़ने के कार्य को क्रान्तिकारी कदम बताते हुए कहा कि मैकाले की अंग्रेजी षिक्षा नीति को बदलने के केंद्र सरकार के प्रस्ताव को अमली जामा पहनाते हुए योग को पूर्ण खेल के रूप में षामिल करने का जो चरणबद्ध कार्यक्रम आरम्भ किया है उसके लिए हम माननीय मुख्यमंत्री महोदय, माननीय षिक्षामंत्री महोदय का हृद्य से आभार ज्ञापित करते है।


उल्लेखनीय है कि कुछ जिलों में सात दिवसीय दो कैम्प व कुछ जिलों मे सात दिवसीय तीन कैम्पों के माध्यम से षिक्षा विभाग के पी0टी0आई0/ डी0पी0ई0 का प्रषिक्षण कार्यक्रम हरियाणा योग परिषद् द्वारा नवम्बर माह के अंत तक पूर्ण किया जाएगा। षिविर में भाग ले रहे डा0 षमषेर सिंह जो राजकीय विद्यालय सेकटर 15 पंचकूला में कार्यरत हैं, उन्होंने मुख्यमंत्री महोदय से निवेदन किया कि योगासन को पूर्ण खेल के रूप में षामिल किया जाए। मुख्यमंत्री जी ने साकारात्मकता के साथ इस निवेदन को स्वीकार किया।

Workshop on Cow Dung Bricks held online

The discussion focused on raw material, processing and output. Numbers of doubts were raised by attendees such as strength, quantity, durability, cost effectiveness, logistics, vedic plaster etc.  Mr. Arora clarified all of those using presentation, lecture, videos, interaction, experiential learning etc. Videos were shown for both pros and cons of using dung. Putting emphasis on the topic, many possibilities for utilization of bio-bricks were listed by various members such building of permanent and well as temporary structures at schools, institutes, kitchen gardens, for homeless people, in fields etc.

The research on matter is already making waves at international level and soon we may expect more companies taking up start-ups handling dung waste. The workshop ended on a higher note with a notion that it has enormous opportunity to generate employment and self-reliance as well in rural areas.

While sharing his views, Sh. He said that all the participants swore that they would celebrate pollution free Diwali and make cycling an integral part of  their lives. Solan, November 7, Recently a 65 years old lady, Mrs. Surinder Kaur with a brain clot, located deep inside the brain, was operated upon successfully at Fortis Hospital Mohali. Explaining the technique, he added that brain Tumors, when located deep inside the brain or when found near critical structures, require special methods so that function of nearby areas can be preserved and damage can be minimized. Neuro-navigation identifies these structures and guides neurosurgeon to go through a path of least trauma. Spinal cord surgery especially when placement of screws and rods we required pauses a similar challenge. The neuro-monitoring system detects if a screw is placed too close to a nerve and hence the placement of screws can be corrected right at the time of surgery-making the surgery less risky.

Of Sociology who focussed on breaking stereotypes related to working women. She argued that working women are not taken seriously by family and their work is usually considered subsidiary to men. Moreover, women juggle between work and home, and it is extremely difficult to balance the two. Prof. Gill suggested that there is a need for working women to develop competency at work, become professional,learn new skills and to be independent.
