पंचकूला, 1 मार्च- ‘आयुषमान आप के द्वार‘ पखवाड़ा आज एक मार्च से 15 मार्च तक पूरे प्रदेश में मनाया जा रहा है। पंचकूला के उपायुक्त मुकेश कुमार आहूजा ने पखवाड़े की शुरूआत नागरिक अस्पताल सेक्टर 6 पंचकूला से आयुषमान आपके द्वार वाहन को हरी झंडी दिखा कर की।

उन्होंने बताया कि ये वाहन जिले के विभिन्न क्षेत्रों में जाकर मुनादी के जरिए लोगों को आयुषमान योजना के बारे में जागरूक करेगा। इस पखवाड़े के दौरान जिले में कुल 71 स्थानों पर आयुषमान कार्ड बनाने के शिविर प्रातः 9 बजे से सायं 5 बजे तक लगाए जाएंगे। इसके अतिरिक्त जिले के सभी सीएससी केन्द्रों पर रोजाना आयुषमान कार्ड बनाए जाएंगे।

आयुषमान कार्ड बनाने के लिए लाभार्थी को अपना आधार कार्ड और राशन कार्ड के साथ अपने नजदीकी सीएससी केन्द्र या सरकारी अस्पताल में जाकर संपर्क करना होगा।

Mayor flagged off 2nd phase of door to door waste collection through MCC vehicles

Chandigarh, March 1:- Sh. Ravi Kant Sharma, Mayor, Chandigarh today flagged off the 2nd phase of door to door waste collection through MCC vehicles near Mahila Bhawan, Sector 38, Chandigarh in the presence of Sh. K.K. Yadav, IAS, Commissioner, Sh. Arun Sood, former Mayor and area councilor, Sh. Sorabh Arora, Joint Commissioner, Dr. Amrit Warring, Medical Officer of Health and other prominent persons of area.

The Mayor said that in order to implementation successful door to door collection of waste separately i.e. wet and dry waste, the Municipal Corporation Chandigarh has deployed their own vehicles in 1st phase from sector 1 to 30 in the city, which have reduced the problem of mixed garbage collected at garbage plant.

He said that from today onwards the MCC has deployed 70 more vehicles in southern sectors including sectors 31, 32, 33, 34, 35, 36, 37, 38, 38 West, 46, 47 and 48 for door to door collection of waste through the use of partitioned vehicles including three separate collection bins for wet, dry and domestic hazardous waste in each vehicle.

While sharing information about the door to door waste collection system through MCC vehicles, Sh. K.K. Yadav, IAS, Commissioner, MCC said that these vehicles will carry the waste from households to the transfer stations, from where the waste is transported to the garbage plant in loaders. All vehicles used in the collection and transportation system are monitored by a GPS enabled tracking system. The GPS system is constantly monitored by the monitoring cell. Any route deviations by particular drivers are penalized and multiple deviations is also grounds for termination, added the Commissioner.

In addition to that 223 more vehicles will be deployed in phased manner on delivery bases throughout the city to collect segregated waste from households.

He said that Chandigarh has been divided into 4 zones and 26 wards. Each ward has on an average 9600 households and commercial establishments of the areas. In Chandigarh, waste is generated from various sources including households, commercial areas and other institutions like RWAs, hospitals, hotels among others. The households or residential complexes are covered by the door to door collection system while the semi bulk and bulk generators are covered by the bulk collection system. With this facility, Chandigarh ensures the 100% coverage of wards through its door to door segregated collection system with deploying all the 390 additional vehicles, added the Commissioner.

पंचकूला, 1 मार्च- आज से कोरोना वैक्सीन का तीसरा चरण आरंभ हो गया है। इसी के तहत हरियाणा के सेवानिवृत  आईएएस अधिकारी समीर पाल सरो ने कोरोना वैक्सीन का टीकाकरण करवाया। इस अवसर पर उनके साथ उनकी धर्मपत्नी नीलम सरो व उनकी भाभी हेम किरण भी मौजूद थी।

श्री कटारिया आज यहां अपने निवास पर पत्रकारों से बातचीत कर रहे थे। इस अवसर पर उनके साथ उनकी धर्मपत्नी व भाजपा नेत्री श्रीमती बंतो कटारिया भी उपस्थित थी।
  उन्होंने कहा कि पिछले दो तीन महीने से विपक्ष के लोगों द्वारा प्रधानमंत्री श्री मोदी से वेक्सीन को लेकर बार बार प्रश्न किये जा रहे थे। उन्होंने कहा कि केंद्रीय स्वास्थ्य मंत्री श्री हर्षवर्द्धन द्वारा बताया गया था कि वेक्सीन लगाने के मापदंड तय किये गये है और जिस दिन उनकी और श्री मोदी की बारी आयेगी, तो पूरा देश देखेगा कि उन्होंने कोरोना का टीकाकरण करवाया है।


कोरोना संबंधी आंकडों पर प्रकाश डालते हुए श्री कटारिया ने कहा कि देश में आज तक कोविड-19 के कुल एक करोड़ 11 लाख 12 हजार 241 कंफ्मड मामले दर्ज किये गये है, जिसमें से कुल एक करोड़ 7 लाख 86 हजार 457 मामले रिक्वर हो चुके है और अब केवल एक लाख 68 हजार 627 कोविड मामले ही सक्रिय हैं। आज से शुरू हो रहे कोविड-19 वेक्सिनेशन के तीसरे चरण में 60 वर्ष से अधिक आयु वाले लोगों  को कोरोना का टीका लगाया जायेगा। इसके अतिरिक्त यह टीका 45 से 59 वर्ष के उन लोगों को लगाया जायेगा, जो बीपी, केंसर, ह्दय रोग या अन्य किसी रोग से ग्रसित है। उन्होंने कहा कि इस फेस की शुरूआत होने से हम, कोविड-19 के विरूद्ध लड़ाई के निर्णायक दौर में पंहुच गये है।


उन्होंने बताया कि कोविड-19 वैक्सिनेशन के लिए 10 हजार अस्पताल आयुषमान भारत प्रधानमंत्री जन औषधी योजना के तहत तथा 687 अन्य अस्पताल में कोविड वेक्सिनेशन सेंटर स्थापित किये गए हैं।  इसके अलावा राज्यों को राजकीय स्वास्थ्य बीमा योजना के तहत एम्पेन्लड निजी अस्पतालों को भी कोविड वेक्सिनेशन सेंटरज के रूप में प्रयोग करने की अनुमति दी गई है।


श्री कटारिया ने बताया कि स्वास्थ्य के क्षेत्र में वित वर्ष 2020-21 के 94 हजार 452 करोड़ रूपये के बजट को बढ़ाकर वित्तीय वर्ष 2021-22 में  2 लाख 23 हजार 846 करोड़ रूपये किया गया है। उन्होंने कहा कि आगामी छह वर्षों के लिये 64 हजार 180 करोड़ रूपए की एक नई केंद्रीय प्रायोजित प्रधानमंत्री आत्मनिर्भर स्वस्थ्य भारत योजना की शुरूआत की गई है। यह योजना राष्ट्रीय स्वास्थ्य मिशन के अतिरिक्त होगी। इस योजना के अंतर्गत सभी जिलों में एकीकृत जनस्वास्थ्य लैबस और 11 राज्यों में 3 हजार 382 खंड जनस्वास्थ्य इकाईया स्थापित की जायेगी। उन्होंने यह भी बताया कि इस बार के केंद्रीय बजट में कोविड-19 वेक्सीन के लिये 35 हजार करोड़ रुपये का प्रावधान किया गया है।
उन्होंने कहा कि प्रधानमंत्री श्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने देश की जनता को जल संरक्षण के लिये भी प्रेरित किया है। कल उनके द्वारा ‘मन की बात‘ कार्यक्रम में उन्होंने जल संरक्षण के लिये ‘कैच द रेन वैन इट फाल्स, वेयर इट फाल्स‘ का संदेश दिया है। श्री कटारिया ने बताया कि केंद्रीय जल शक्ति विभाग की ओर से जल संरक्षण के लिये एक 100 दिन की मुहिम चलाई जायेगी। इस अभियान के तहत सभी स्कूलों में जल संरक्षण गतिविधियों की शुरूआत की जाएंगी।

उन्होंने कहा कि अंबाला लोकसभा क्षेत्र में जल संरक्षण के लिये 100 करोड़ रुपये की परियोजना बनाई गई हैं। इसके अंतर्गत जल संग्रहित करने के लियेे छोटे-छोटे तालों का निर्माण किया जायेगा। इसके अलावा मोरनी के तालों का सुधार तथा कालका-पिंजौर की बावड़ियों का पुर्नोंद्धार किया जायेगा।


उन्होंने कहा कि केंद्र सरकार द्वारा किसानों के हित में तीन कृषि कानून पास करवाये गये है परंतु विपक्ष अपने राजनैतिक स्वार्थों के लिये किसानों को गुमराह कर रहा है।

पंचकूला, 28 फरवरी- उपायुक्त मुकेश कुमार आहूजा ने बताया कि जिले में एक मार्च से हैल्थ केयर वर्कर, फ्रंट लाईन वर्कर के सथ-साथ 60 वर्ष से अधिक  आयु वाले लोगों व 45-59 वर्ष आयु के लोगों को कोरोना का टीका लगाने का स्वास्थ्य विभाग द्वारा अभियान शुरू किया जा रहा है और जिले मे लगभग 20 सरकारी व निजी काविड वैक्सीनेशन केन्द्रों पर यह टीका निःशुल्क लगाने का कार्य किया जायेगा व जिन निजी अस्पतालों में पीएमजे/सीजीएचएस/स्टेट इन्शुरेंस स्कीम आदि की सुविधा उपलब्ध है केवल उन्हीं केन्द्रों मे ही टीकाकरण केन्द्र बनाया जायेगा और लाभार्थी को कोरोना का टीका लगवाने से पहले केन्द्र सरकार द्वारा निर्धारित शुल्क देना होगा। उन्होंने बताया कि केन्द्र सरकार द्वारा लाभार्थियों की सुविधा के लिए आनलाइन पंजीकरण हेतु कोविड-2.0 के नाम से पोर्टल शीघ्र ही लांच किया जायेगा

जिसके बाद लाभार्थी स्वयं इस पर अपना रजिस्ट्रेशन कर सकेंगे और साथ ही अपने रजिस्टर्ड मोबाइल नंबर से अधिकतम चार सदस्यो का टीकाकरण के लिए पंजीकरण करवा सकेंगे। पोर्टल लांच होने के बाद रजिस्ट्रेशन कराने वाले पोर्टल द्वारा संदेश भेजा जाएगा। यदि कोई भी लाभार्थी पोर्टल पर अपना रजिस्ट्रेशन नहीं कर पाए हैं तो वह अपना आधार कार्ड या अन्य आईडी लेकर अपने नजदीकी कोरोना टीकाकरण केन्द्र पर पहुंच कर अपना पंजीकरण करवा सकते हैं। सिविल सर्जन डाॅ. जसजीत कौर ने बताया कि पहला टीका लगाने के बाद उसी समय दूसरा टीका लगवाने की तारीख लाभार्थी को बताई जायेगी। उन्होंने कहा कि एक मार्च को जिले मे तीन सरकारी केन्द्रों सिविल अस्पताल सेक्टर 6, पंचकूला, एसडीएच कालका व पोलीक्लीनिक सेक्टर 26 मे यह टीकाकरण अभियान चलाया जायेगा। इसके अतिरिक्त यह टीका 45 से 59 आयु के उन लोगो को लगाया जो जिन्हे कैंसर, बीपी, हृदय रोग या अन्य किसी बीमारी से ग्रस्त हैं तो वह टीका लगवाने के साथ अपने डाॅक्टर द्वारा वैरिफाई किए गए कागजात साथ लेकर आएंगे  उसके बाद उनका टीकाकरण किया जायेगा। इसके अतिरिक्त स्वास्थ्य विभाग, पंचकूला की नोडल अधिकारी डाॅ0 मीनू सासन ने बताया कि इन केन्द्रों पर हैल्थ मोबिलाईसर द्वारा प्रेरित किए गए लाभार्थियों के लिए अलग से स्लाॅट रखा जायेगा जो हैल्थ केयर वर्कर व फ्रंट लाईन वर्कर किसी कारणवश अभी तक अपना पंजीकरण नहीं करवा सके हैं, वह भी इस पोर्टल पर अपना पंजीकरण करवाकर अपना टीकाकरण करवा सकते हैं।

Chandigarh, February 28:- The 49th Rose Festival ended with the award ceremony to corona warriors of city here at Rose Garden, Sector 16, Chandigarh.

Sh. Ravi Kant Sharma, Mayor, Chandigarh was the chief guest during the closing ceremony. Sh. K.K. Yadav, IAS, Commissioner, Sh. Mahesh Inder Singh Siddhu, Senior Deputy Mayor, Smt. Farmila, Deputy Mayor, other councilors and officers of MCC were present during the simple function.

The Mayor said that this year the MCC could not organize various competitions during this Rose festival due to COVID-19 guidelines, while some flower arrangements have been done by the horticulture department, MCC. He said that next year will be the Golden Jubilee of the Rose Festival and will be celebrated with full fervor.

The Commissioner said that MCC has decided to honour all the RWAs, MWAs, NGOs and Councillors of MCC for rendering their best services during the COVID-19 period. He said that these local level organizations supported and helped the citizen of Chandigarh a lot during the COVID period.

The Mayor and Commissioner honoured the representatives of 82 Resident Welfare Associations, 36 NGOs of city and 37 individuals including officials of UT Administration and social workers of city and 230 employees of MCC including Gardeners, Safaikarmacharis and other workers  through their respective Head of Departments during the programme.

The quote, “My Chandigarh, My Responsibility” written on these bags brings a sense of ownership among the citizens to manage their waste responsibly by segregating at source. They addressed the audience as leaders of tomorrow and set them on this trajectory by tying the innovative bags on their cycles themselves.

Department of Applied Sciences, University Institute of Engineering and Technology, Panjab University, Chandigarh organized one day online seminar on ‘Emerging trends in Applied Mathematics’ on 27 February 2021.

The seminar was organized under twining activity of TEQIP-III in collaboration with Govt. college of Engineering and Technology Jammu under the guidance and  patronage of  Prof. Raj Kumar, Vice Chancellor, Panjab University, Prof. J.K. Goswamy, Director UIET, Panjab University, Chandigarh and Dr. Sameru Sharma, Principal, Government College of Engineering and Technology, Jammu.

The purpose of the webinar was to bring together researchers from academia to present, share and discuss their techniques, tools and ideas in the area of Applied mathematics specially in optimization techniques, numerical analysis, mathematical modeling, swarm intelligence.

Around 100 participants from different institutes  within India registered for the seminar.  Experts from IIT, Delhi, NIT Jalandhar, South Asian University and Foundation of Scientific Research and Technological Innovation, Hyderabad delivered talks and highlighted various opportunities available for mathematicians.

During the inaugural session, Prof JK Goswamy, Director, UIET delivered the welcome address and emphasized on the importance of organization of such event.  He also stated that in this pandemic era of COVID-19, the seminar will definitely benefit the young researchers.

Prof. VR Sinha, Dean University Instructions , Panjab University  delivered the inaugural address.  He appreciated the progress of UIET over the years and wished it well on its journey of excellence in interdisciplinary research.

उन्होंने कहा कि संत रविदास जाति-पाति और उंच-नीच के घोर विरोधी थे और आपसी भाईचारे को ही संच्चा धर्म मानते थे। इतना ही नहीं वे दूसरों की मदद करने में सबसे आगे रहते थे। उन्होंने कहा कि संत रविदास जी भारत के उन चुनिंदा महापुरूषों में से एक हैं जिन्होंने अपने कार्यों से सारे संसार को एकता और भाईचारे का  संदेश दिया। उन्होंने जीवन भर समाज में फैली जाति-पाति की कुरीति के अंत के लिए काम किया। उन्होंने कहा कि संत शिरोमणी रविदास का मानना था कि मन जो काम करने के लिए  अन्तः करण से तैयार हो वही काम करना उचित है। मन सही तो इसे कठौते के जल में ही गंगा स्नान का पुण्य प्राप्त हो सकता है। कहा जाता है कि इस प्रकार के व्यवहार के बाद से ही कहावत प्रचलित हो गई कि ‘मन चंगा तो कठोती में गंगा‘।


डाॅ बनवारी लाल ने कहा कि वर्तमान राज्य सरकार ने मुख्य मंत्री श्री मनोहर लाल के नेतृत्व में हर वर्ग का विकास एवं कल्याण करने के लिए व्यवस्थाओं में अमूलचूल परिवर्तन किया है, जिसके तहत अनुसूचित जाति एवं पिछड़ा वर्ग के उत्थान के लिए भी विभिन्न नीतियों व योजनाओं को क्रियान्वित किया जा रहा है। राज्य सरकार ने अंत्योदय की भावना से काम करते हुए कई योजनाओं को आॅनलाइन करने का काम किया है, ताकि विभिन्न योजनाओं का लाभ घर-द्वार पर ही लोगों को उपलब्ध करवाया जा सके।


इस अवसर पर उन्होंने संत रविदास सभा पंचकूला को अपने स्वैच्छिक कोष से 11 लाख रूपए की राशि देने की घोषणा की। इससे  पूर्व गुरू रविदास सभा पंचकूला के अध्यक्ष राज कपूर अहलावत ने कार्यक्रम में उपस्थित होने पर डाॅ बनवारी लाल का धन्यवाद किया और उन्हें शाॅल और स्मृति चिन्ह देकर सम्मानित किया।


इस मौके पर भूतपूर्व विधायक लहरी सिंह ने कहा कि डाॅ बनवारी लाल एक कुशल राजनीतिज्ञ होने के साथ-साथ एक मिलनसार व्यक्ति भी हैं। उन्होंने कहा कि वे लोगों के दुख-सुख में हमेशा साथ खड़े रहते हैं।
