पंचकूला, 16 सितंबर- उपायुक्त एवं श्री माता मनसा देवी पूजा स्थल बोर्ड के मुख्य प्रशासक श्री विनय प्रताप सिंह कल 17 सितंबर, 2021  को श्री माता मनसा देवी पूजा स्थल बोर्ड के समिति कक्ष में 7 अक्तूबर से 14 अक्तूबर तक आयोजित होने वाले अश्विन नवरात्र मेले की तैयारियों/प्रबंधों के बारे में विभिन्न विभागों के अधिकारियों की आयोजित बैठक की अध्यक्षता करेंगे।


इस संबंध में जानकारी देते हुए श्री माता मनसा देवी पूजा स्थल बोर्ड  के एक प्रवक्ता ने बताया कि बैठक में श्री विनय प्रताप सिंह अश्विन नवरात्र मेला के सफल आयोजन को लेकर संबंधित विभागों द्वारा किए जा रहे प्रबंधों की समीक्षा करेंगे व उन्हें आवश्यक दिशा-निर्देश देंगे।


उन्होंने बताया कि बैठक में कोविड के मद्देनजर मेला के दौरान मंदिर परिसर में साफ-सफाई, फोगिंग, कीटाणूनाशक स्प्रे के साथ-साथ श्रद्धालुओं के लिए निर्बाध स्वच्छ पेयजल की व्यवस्था, सड़कों की मरम्मत, कानून एवं व्यवस्था बनाए रखने के लिए पुलिस बल की तैनाती, निर्बाध बिजली आपूर्ति आदि महत्वपूर्ण बिंदुओं पर चर्चा की जायेगी।

उन्होंने बताया कि बैठक में पुलिस, स्वास्थ्य, जन स्वास्थ्य, हरियाणा शहरी विकास प्राधिकरण, परिवहन विभाग, लोक निर्माण विभाग, नगर निगम पंचकूला व नगर परिषद कालका, हरियाणा दुग्ध विकास सहकारी संघ व अन्य संबंधित विभागों के अधिकारी उपस्थित रहेंगे।

British Council Delegation Visits Panjab University

            Professor Raj Kumar accorded a cordial and warm welcome to the delegation and shared his delight at the cordial relations of the British Council with Panjab University which have been existing for a long time and which have successfully culminated into various meaningful academic and cultural events in collaboration. The council members also expressed happiness that the relations of the British Council and Panjab University form a bedrock of various activities conducted jointly in the most satisfying manner.

            The Delegation briefed the PU authorities about the ‘Going Global Partnership Programme’ being offered by the Council thus providing opportunities to take up the collaborative ventures in future and binding more closely the mutual relationships. The students, graduates and faculty may be highly benefitted by the shared experience of international education which is the part of the programme. This has been facilitated by India’s Education Policy adopted in 2020 with the prime focus on internationalization and attention on students’ flexibility. The meeting was highly interactive and underlined the brighter prospect of global partnership of PU with British Council.

IGNOU extends Admission up to 23rd September, 2021

The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has extended the last date of submission of online Fresh admission of all Masters, Bachelor & Diplomas programmes up to 23rd September, 2021 for the July-2021 session. This extension of last date shall not apply to Certificate and Semester-based programmes, i.e., MP, MPB, PGDMM, PGDFM, PGDHRM, PGDOM, PGDFMP, DBPOFA, PGDIS, MCA, BCA, and all Certificate and Awareness programmes of 6 months duration or less. Details of the IGNOU academic programmes for the July, 2021 session can be accessed from the link https://ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in/. The prospective learners can apply for Masters/Bachelor/Diploma programmes of the University on the official website, informed The Regional Director of IGNOU Regional centre Chandigarh Dr. A.K.Dimri. Last date of submission of ‘online’ admission form for the July session was earlier fixed for September, 15.

Condolence Meeting held for former Registrar and COE, PU

A condolence meeting was held today on the demise of Shri B.L. Gupta, former Registrar and Controller of Examinations, Panjab University, Chandigarh, who left for heavenly abode on 13.09.2021 after a prolonged illness in the presence of Sh. Vikram Nayyar, Registrar, Dr. Jagat Bhushan, Controller of Examinations and the officials in the Senate Hall.

            Sh. Gupta was an able administrator. It was prayed to the Almighty to grant peace to the departed soul and provide enough strength to the bereaved family members to bear this irreparable loss.  Two-minutes silence was also observed as a mark of respect to the departed soul.

           डा0 अमित शर्मा, आयुर्वेदिक चिकित्सा अधिकारियों व डा0 मोनिका माटा, होम्योपैथिक चिकित्सा अधिकारी ने उपस्थित लोगो को किशोेरावस्था, गर्भावस्था व धात्री महिलाओं को पोष्टिक आहार तथा कुपोषित बच्चों के ठीक खान-पान के बारे में जागरूक किया व खून की कमी को दूर करने के लिए पोषक आहार जैसे पत्तेदार सब्जियां,पनीर दाले, अंडा आदि को आहार में शामिल करने के बारे में विस्तृत चर्चा की।

रितू मित्तल, योग विषेषज्ञा द्वारा सामान्य जीवन  में योग क्रियाओं  के महत्व तथा योग क्रियाओं से शरीर पर पड़ने वाले प्रभावो के बारे में बताया तथा 76 लोगो को योग क्रियाए करवाई।  इस कैम्प में 76 रोगियो को आयुर्वेदिक व 77 रोगियो को होम्योपैथिक निशुल्क औषधियाॅं वितरित की गई। कैम्प में लगभग 153 रोगियो को  औषधीयों के साथ-साथ स्वस्थ्य दिनचर्या के बारे में चिकित्सको द्वारा जानकारी दी गई ।
कैम्प में उपस्थित लोगो को औषधीय पौधों के उपयोग के बारे में जागरूक किया तथा लगभग 10 लोगांे को औषधीय पौधे जैसे कि सहिजन, गुडहल व तुलसी आदि वितरित किए गए।

पंचकूला, 15 सितंबर- जिला बाल कल्याण परिषद्, पचंकूला द्वारा शिशु गृह, सैक्टर 15, पंचकूला में प्रमाण पत्र वितरण समारोह मनाया गया, जिसमें बाल भवन, पंचकूला द्वारा चलाई जा रही गतिविधियों जैसे कंप्यूटर प्रशिक्षण केन्द्र, ब्यूटी केयर प्रशिक्षण केन्द्र, सिलाई एंव कढाई केन्द्र में प्रशिक्षण प्राप्त कर प्रशिक्षुओं को मुख्य अतिथि मानद महासचिव श्री प्रवीण अत्री, हरियाणा राज्य बाल कल्याण परिषद् चण्डीगढ द्वारा प्रमाण पत्र वितरित किए गए।

मुख्य अतिथि ने सभी प्रशिक्षुओं से आवाहन किया की आप भविष्य में किसी ना किसी प्रकार से जैसे कंप्यूटर, ब्यूटी पार्लर एंव सिलाई कढाई के माध्यम से गरीब व जरूरतमंद परिवारों की सहायता निशुल्क करते रहना तथा आने वाले समय में आप सभी दिन दुगनी रात चैगनी तरक्की करेंगे।

श्री भगत सिंह, जिला बाल कल्याण अधिकारी ने बताया की पिछले 10 वर्षो में परिषद् द्वारा 2426 बच्चों को प्रशिक्षण/शिक्षा देकर प्रमाण पत्र वितरित किए जा चूके है जिसमें से कुछ बच्चों ने तो आत्मनिर्भता होकर स्ंवय के केन्द्र खोले है तथा इस समारोह में कंप्यूटर प्रशिक्षण केन्द्र पंचकूला, कालका, पिंजौर, रायपुर रानी व भरेली, ब्यूटी केयर प्रशिक्षण केन्द्र, पचंकूला, कालका, व सिलाई एंव कढाई केन्द्र, पंचकूला, कालका, पिंजौर के कुल 102 प्रशिक्षुओं को प्रमाण पत्र देकर सम्मानित किया गया।

उन्होंने बताया कि अल्पसंख्यक कार्य मंत्रालय की छात्रवृति योजनाओं के तहत राष्ट्रीय छात्रवृति पोर्टल पर आॅन लाईन आवेदन करने की तिथि मैट्रिक-पूर्व के लिये 15 नवंबर 2021 तथा पोस्ट मैट्रिक तथा मेरिट-सह-साधन आधारित छात्रवृति योजनाओं के लिये 30 नवंबर 2021 है। उक्त स्कीमों का लाभ मुस्लिम, सिख, ईसाई, बौध, पारसी व जैन के समुदायों के छात्रों को प्रदान किया जाता है जिसके लिए मैट्रिक-पूर्व छात्रों की पारिवारिक आय 1 लाख, पोस्ट मैट्रिक छात्रों की पारिवारिक आय 2 लाख, मेरिट-सह-साधन छात्रों की पारिवारिक आय 2.5 लाख रूपये तक हो तथा छात्र पिछली कक्षा में 50 प्रतिशत या इससे अधिक अंकों द्वारा उत्तीर्ण हुआ हो।

पंचकूला, 15 सितंबर- उपायुक्त विनय प्रताप सिंह ने जिला के सभी विभागाध्यक्षों को निर्देश दिये हैं कि आज़ादी का अमृत महोत्सव के तहत आयोजित होने वाले कार्यक्रमों/गतिविधियों में खादी एवं ग्रामोद्योग आयोग द्वारा बनाए गए राष्ट्रीय ध्वजों की खरीद की जाये।


उपायुक्त ने बताया कि भारत की आजादी की 75वीं वर्षगांठ को यादगार बनाने के लिए आजादी का अमृत महोत्सव मनाया जा रहा है। इसके लिए भारत के प्रधानमत्री श्री नरेन्द्र मोदी द्वारा 12 मार्च 2021 को आजादी का अमृत महोत्सव को लांच किया गया था जो 15 अगस्त 2023 तक चलेगा।

उन्होंने बताया कि इस महोत्सव के दौरान विभिन्न विभागों द्वारा कार्यक्रमों व गतिविधियों का आयोजन किया जा रहा है, जिसके लिए राष्ट्रीय ध्वज की थोक में खरीद की आवश्यकता होगी। प्रधानमंत्री द्वारा 25 जुलाई 2021 को अपने ‘मन की बात’ कार्यक्रम के दौरान भी खादी के उत्पाद खरीदने की अपील की गई थी और यह भी कहा गया था कि इसे ‘जन सेवा’ एवं ‘राष्ट्र सेवा’ के समान रखा जाये।
उन्होंने बताया कि खादी एवं ग्रामोदयोग आयेाग द्वारा सभी आकारों में राष्ट्रीय ध्वजो का उत्पादन किया गया है। राष्ट्रीय ध्वजों को खादी कारीगरों द्वारा अत्यंत सटीकता और बीआईएस के मानको के आधार पर बनाया गया है। यद्यपि यह राष्ट्रीय ध्वज बनाने वाले कारीगरों को सीधे तौर पर लाभ पहुंचायेगा और यह प्लास्टिक आदि से बने ध्वजों के उपयोग को रोकने मे भी मदद करेगा। उन्होंने बताया कि इन राष्ट्रीय ध्वजों को खादी भवन के अतिरिक्त खादी एवं ग्रामोद्योग आयोग के ई-पोर्टल www.khadiindia.gov.in और GeM portal पर भी खरीदा जा सकता है।

Lecture on Right to Information by Department of Laws, PU

Department of Laws, Panjab University organized a guest lecture on Right to Information. The lecture was presided over by Sh Shiv Raman Gaur, Director of Higher Education, DAVCMC, New Delhi as the chief guest who is also an alumnus of Department of laws, Panjab University. The lecture was conducted in the presence of Devinder Singh, Chairman, Department of laws, Panjab university, Prof. Jyoti Rattan and other faculty members,  Panjab University. 

Sh Shiv Raman Gaur, extended his gratitude to the educationists of Panjab University and referred Prof. Devinder Singh as his former teacher during his college years. He Shiv Raman Gaur, stressed upon the usage of the sections of Right to Information Act, by linking it with common life examples.  He also emphasized on the practical application of the these sections and it’s interpretation. The esteemed guest , also gave a reference of Section 6(3) of Right to Information Act, 2005 which talks about Public Authority obligations.  He shared some of his personal experiences relating to the groundwork reality of the act which gave a better insight to the students about the working of Right to Information as an act. Few of the real life examples quoted by him also gave the students an idea about what constitutes the subject matter of Right to Information and what needs to be excluded. He also encouraged the students to employ research methods in order to gain a better understanding of  Right to Information Act .

Prof. Devinder Singh, Chairman, Department of Laws while explaining the importance of Right to Information, stressed on the relevance of the Act in today’s era, and traced it’s development over the years. 

Earlier, Prof. Jyoti Rattan in her welcome address highlighted the importance of International scenerio of Right to Information  by mentioning United Nation freedom of Information Principles and 16th global position of Indian RTI Act.

Dr. Reena Kansal concluded the lecture with a vote of thanks.
