पंचकूला 15 अक्तूबर- बाल भवन सेक्टर 14 में बाल दिवस के उपलक्ष्य में होने वाली ऑनलाइन प्रतियोगिताओं के बारे में जानकारी देते हुए अध्यक्ष एवं उपायुक्त मुकेश कुमार आहूजा ने बताया कि सभी ऑनलाइन प्रतियोगिताएं दिनांक 10 अक्टूबर 2020 से 10 नवंबर 2020 तक पूरे प्रदेश में चलाई जा रही हैं। इसके लिए विद्यार्थी बाल विकास विभाग की वेबसाइट childwelfareharyana-com/balmahotsav में आॅनलाईन अपने फोटो एवं वीडियो अपलोड कर सकते है।
उपायुक्त ने बताया कि इन प्रतियोगिताओं में 6 माह से लेकर 18 वर्ष से कम के बच्चे भाग ले सकते हैं इन प्रतियोगिता में नृत्य गायन, कार्ड मेकिंग, फैंसी ड्रेस, बेस्ट ड्रामेबाज, क्ले मॉडलिंग, दीया मोमबत्ती, सजावट स्केचिंग, पोस्टर मेकिंग, प्रश्नोत्तरी, थाली पूजन, कलश सजावट, फन गेम, रंगोली, फेस पेंटिंग और बेबी शो आदि प्रतियोगिताएं आयोजित करवाई जाएगी। उन्होंने सभी पंचकूला निवासियों का आह्वान् किया है कि वे इस प्रतियोगिता में अपने बच्चों को ज्यादा से ज्यादा भाग दिलवाने के लिए प्रेरित करें। इसलिए जिला बाल कल्याण अधिकारी की वेबसाईट से लिंक करके इन प्रतियोगिताओं में भाग ले सकते हैं। इसके लिए यह वेबसाइट 10 अक्टूबर से 30 अक्टूबर 2020 तक 24 घण्टे खुली रहेगी।

पंचकूला 15 अक्तूबर- उपायुक्त मुकेश कुमार आहूजा ने बताया जिला की रायपुररानी, बरवाला व पंचकूला सहित तीनों मंण्डियों में अब तक किसानों के 54043 मिट्रिक टन धान की खरीद न्यूनतम समर्थन मूल्य पर की जा चुकी है।
उपायुक्त ने बताया कि उपायुक्त ने बताया कि पंचकूला में 5990 मिट्रिक टन, रायपुररानी में 19053 मिट्रिक टन व बरवाला में 29000 मिट्रिक टन धान की खरीद की जा चुकी है।
उपायुक्त ने बताया कि किसानों की सुविधा के लिए व्यापक स्तर पर धान का उठान भी जारी है। अब तक खरीदे गए धान में से 44123 मिट्रिक टन का उठान किया गया तथा शेष धान का उठान कार्य भी तेजी से किया जा रहा है।

पंचकूला 15 अक्तूबर- राजकीय महाविद्यालय कालका की प्राचार्य प्रोमिला मलिक के मार्गदर्शन में इंटर कालेज आॅनलाईन प्रश्नोतरी प्रतियोगिता का आयोजन करवाया गया। इसमें अर्थशास्त्र विभाग की प्रो0 ईना आहूजा ने विद्यार्थियों से सीधे संवाद किया।
आॅनलाईन प्रतियोगिता में प्रदेश व चण्डीगढ के कई महाविद्यालयों के 266 विद्यार्थियों ने भाग लिया। प्रतियोगिता में अर्थशास्त्र विषय से संबधित प्रश्नों के बारे में पूछा गया। प्रश्नोतरी प्रतियोगिता में राजकीय महाविद्यालय सैक्टर 14 पंचकूला की बीए फाईनल की छात्रा सुनयना, व गुरू गोविंद सिंह कालेज चण्डीगढ की बीकाॅम के छात्र अभिषेक सिंगला, तथा सी,एच,आई,एस, के एम बी छंद की छात्रा सपना देवी ने तीसरा स्थान पाया।
प्र्रतियोगिता में पं एन आर एस राजकीय महाविद्यालय रोहतक के छात्र उमेश कुमार को पहला सांत्वना पुरस्कार व ए जी जी एस कालेज सैक्टर 26 चण्डीगढ की छात्रा आयुषी गुप्ता को दूसरा सांत्वना पुरस्कार मिला। सभी विजेताओं को ई सर्टिफिकेट प्रदान किए गए।

Panjab University Chandigarh launched the website www.icamse2021.weebly.com for the International Conference on Aspects of Materials Science and Engineering to be held on 05th – 06th March 2021. All accepted papers of the conference will be published in Elsevier’s Scopus indexed journal: Materials Today: Proceedings. Conference coordinator Dr. Shankar Sehgal who is also Managing Guest Editor of Materials Today: Proceedings welcomed the guests and informed them that more than 250 papers are expected to be presented during the conference.
The website www.icamse2021.weebly.com was launched jointly by Prof. J.K. Goswamy, Dean Faculty of Engg. & Tech. and Prof. Renu Vig through an online method. Prof. J.K. Goswamy apprised the audience about the importance of Materials Science and its impact on life. Prof. Renu Vig motivated the audience to participate in the conference as it is a multi-dimensional domain related to materials. The Department of Computer Science and Applications, Panjab University Chandigarh organized a webinar on ‘NEP 2009/2020: Open Standards For Interactive Computing’ on October 15th, 2020.
The occasion was graced by Prof. V.R. Sinha, Dean Research and officiating Dean of University Instructions, Panjab University Chandigarh.Hehighlighted upon the mandate of NEP 2020 which is to make the education system holistic and multidisciplinary and encourage the use of technology for effective teaching.
He dwelled upon the changes proposed by the policy which were :- Multiple entry and Multiple exits, abolishment of M.Phil, autonomy which could be given to private colleges, one regulator for higher education and parity between the government and private colleges.
Prof. Maninder Singh, Head of Computer Science and Engineering Department and Center of Information and Technology Management (CITM), Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology, Patiala, highlighted the importance of quality education which can only be achieved through a strong framework and design.He also focused on 2009’s Right to Education in the Constitution of India which provided free and compulsory education for all children in the age group of six to fourteen years as a Fundamental Right.He emphasised on quality education and virtual labs and the change in the overall spending of the government from 3% of the GDP to proposed 6% of the GDP on the national education, and the key aspect of measurement such as international rankings and research aspect.He vividly explained the importance of Google Colaboratory and Project Jupyter(Project Jupyter exists to develop open-source software, open-standards, and services for interactive computing across dozens of programming languages) through interactive examples and great explanation.

The Panjab University (Sector-14&25) Campus, offices/Teaching departments and affiliated colleges in Chandigarh shall remain open on 16.10.2020 as usual.

Sujoy Choudhury, Executive Director & State Head, Indian Oil, Punjab State Office and other Senior officials from Municipal Corporation and Indian Oil were also be present during the event at the petrol pump site.
While speaking on the occasion, the Hon’ble Governor of Punjab & Administrator U.T. Chandigarh, Sh. V.P. Singh Badnore lauded the efforts of Municipal Corporation Chandigarh for commissioning of the State of Art retail outlet in a record time of 3 months at Sector 51. He further added that women should be given equal opportunities to service at the new outlet for promoting women empowerment in the city. He directed the officials concerned to ensure quality & quantity 100% along with expedition of commissioning of green fuels at retail outlet.
He said that this retail outlet located at Sector 51, Chandigarh will help in better serving the customers of nearby areas by reducing their traveling time for fuel requirements.
Sh. Manoj Kumar Parida, IAS, Adviser to the Administrator, Chandigarh complemented Municipal Corporation’s efforts for new outlet which he added will be very profitable due to its strategic location. He also advised Indian oil for expediting the CNG expansion in Chandigarh city. He said that the fuel station will further strengthen the bond between Indian Oil and Chandigarh Administration which started a long back.
While sharing information about the petrol pump, the Mayor Smt. Raj Bala Malik briefed that the new fuel outlet at Sector-51 has not only provided new employment opportunities to local people but will also act as new sources of revenue for Municipal Corporation. In future, CNG facility will be added in Sec-51 outlet, she added.
The Mayor offered thanks to Hon’ble Governor under whose able vision, today the new outlet could be dedicated to the masses of city. She said that this retail outlet is fully automated wherein customers shall receive e-receipts after the purchase of fuel.
The Municipal Commissioner Sh. K.K. Yadav said that the State of Art outlet is fully automated having ultra-modern facilities such as the new ‘Smart Ground Detector’ for better safety which has been introduced for the first time on all India basis. The petrol pump at sector 51-A, Vikas Marg, Chandigarh having area 12000 Sq.ft. will work 24×7 from today onwards. Provisions have also been made for providing green fuels like CNG, EV charging and battery swapping which shall be launched in due course of time. Indian Oil’s branded petrol Xtra Premium with super cleansers will also be available at the fuel outlet, he added.
He said that the Chandigarh Administration has allotted 2 sites for setting up of petrol pumps to the Municipal Corporation at industrial area Phase-II and at Sector 51-A. He said that the second fuel outlet at industrial area Phase-II will be commissioned shortly.
Sh. Sujoy Choudhury, Executive Director & State Head, Punjab State Office, earlier in inaugural session, welcomed all the dignitaries who joined physically and also though virtual mode and thanked Chandigarh administration and Municipal Corporation Chandigarh for full support during each step for successfully achieving this milestone for Chandigarh.

जिला सुरक्षा कमेटी व सुरक्षित स्कूल वाहन पॉलिसी को लेकर बुधवार को देर सांय लघुसचिवालय स्थित उपायुक्त कार्यालय में बैठक का आयोजन किया गया। इस बैठक की अध्यक्षता उपायुक्त रमेश चंद्र बिढ़ाण ने की। बैठक में अतिरिक्त उपायुक्त उत्तम सिंह, एसडीएम सिरसा जयवीर यादव, नगराधीश संदीप कुमार, डीएसपी जगदीश जोशी, कार्यकारी अभियंता पीडब्ल्यूडी बीएंडआर केसी कंबोज, कार्यकारी अभियंता सिंचाई विभाग एनके भौला सहित अन्य अधिकारी मौजूद थे। बैठक में उपायुक्त बिढ़ाण ने जिला सुरक्षा कमेटी व सुरक्षित स्कूल वाहन पॉलिसी बारे अधिकारियों से समीक्षा की और इस संबंध में आवश्यक दिशा निर्देश दिए।
बैठक में अधिकारियों को संबोधित करते हुए उपायुक्त रमेश चंद्र बिढ़ाण ने कहा कि सर्दी का मौसम शुरु होने वाला है और इस मौसम में दुर्घटनाओं की आशंका अधिक रहती है, इसलिए संबंधित विभाग के अधिकारी दुर्घटना संभावित प्वाइंटों को चिह्निïत कर दुर्घटना बचाव कार्यों संबंधित तैयारियां शुरु कर दें।
उपायुक्त बिढ़ाण ने कहा कि सड़कों पर लगे ऐसे पोल या बिजली खंभों को हटाया जाए, जो यातायात नियमों की अनुपालना में अवरोध पैदा करते हों। उन्होंने संबंधित अधिकारियों से कहा कि ऐसे ब्लैक स्पॉट को चिन्हित किया जाए, जहां पर दुर्घटना होने की अधिक संभावना रहती है। इन ब्लैक स्पॉट को चिह्निïत कर मार्किंग की जाए। इसके अलावा सड़कों पर लाइटिंग की व्यवस्था दुरूस्त की जाए ताकि रात में अंधेरे के कारण कोई दुर्घटना न होने पाए। उन्होंने कहा कि सड़क दुर्घटनाओं पर अंकुश के लिए सजगता के साथ-साथ यातायात नियमों की कड़ाई से पालना जरुरी है। अधिकारी आमजन को यातायात नियमों के बारे में जागरुक करेें और यह भी सुनिश्चित करें कि वाहन चालक सड़क सुरक्षा नियमों की पालना करें।
उन्होंने कहा कि सड़क सुरक्षा के लिए संबंधित विभाग सड़क सुरक्षा उपायों बारे अपनी-अपनी गतिविधियां लगातार जारी रखेंं ताकि आमजन में सड़क सुरक्षा के प्रति जागरुकता पैदा हो। उन्होंने कहा कि पुलिस विभाग को हिदायत दी कि गाड़ी चलाते समय वाहन चालक मोबाइल फोन का प्रयोग न करें तथा सीट बैल्ट लगा कर रखें, दुपहिया वाहन चालक सुरक्षा के दृष्टिïगत हैलमेट का उपयोग करें और वाहन नियमों का पालन करें।
