Chandigarh, August 4:- Smt. Raj Bala Malik, Mayor, Chandigarh today distributed appreciation letters to the SDEs of B&R circle, Municipal Corporation Chandigarh recognizing their dedication and commitment for supply of essential services to the people residing in various sectors in Chandigarh during lockdown period due to COVID-19.
Chandigarh, August 4:-A meeting of Town Vending Committee, Chandigarh was held in MCC today under the chairmanship of Sh. K.K. Yadav, IAS, Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, Chandigarh.
During the meeting various important issues were discussed in detail and accorded approval for the following:
· The committee considered the agenda item regarding waiving off Rs. 50 for street vendors in respect of filling up of loan applications through e-Sampark centres/bank mitra.
· The committee accepted the amendments in street vendors (protection of livelihood and regulation of street vending), Municipal Corporation, Chandigarh Bye-laws, 2018 as per the approval of Administrator, Chandigarh Administration and notified by the MCC.
· The committee decided that Joint Commissioner, MCC will review the work of engagement of society for promotion of information technology in Chandigarh.
· The TVC approved the constitution of a committee to review and scrutinize the applications of non-surveyed street vendors in UT villages under PM SVANidhi scheme.
· The committee members asked the concerned officers to check the representations regarding corrections in particulars of registered street vendors thoroughly.
· The members asked the concerned officers to prepare sector wise report in regard to non-ESP and ESP with the latest notification and guidelines issued in this regard.
· The members asked the concerned enforcement officials to act tough against the violators who found vending from the sites of registered vendors in their absence and challan them as per law.
· The committee members asked the enforcement staff to nail down the unauthorized vendors from the city markets and internal roads etc.
The Chairman in agreement of all the members of Town Vending Committee conveyed to SSP, Chandigarh that Police Department and Traffic Department to take appropriate action against unregistered vendors and not harass the vendors registered with Municipal Corporation, Chandigarh. Also added to make sure SHO, Manimajra SHO, Sector 39 shall not harass the registered street vendor.
Other members of TVC including Sh. V.N. Sharma, Sh. Sita Ram, Sh. Ram Pal, Smt. Kamlesh, Smt. Gita, representatives from office of traffic police, SSP, Chief Architect’s and other officials of MCC were present during the meeting.

पंचकूला में आयोजित राज्य स्तरीय परिवार पहचान पत्र (पीपीपी) वितरण कार्यक्रम मुख्यमंत्री मनोहर लाल व उप मुख्यमंत्री दुष्यंत चौटाला ने की शिरकत
प्रदेश के बिजली, जेल एवं अक्षय ऊर्जा मंत्री चौधरी रणजीत सिंह ने कहा कि सरकारी योजनाओं का लाभ अंतिम पंक्ति में खड़े हर पात्र व्यक्ति तक पहुंचे, इसी ध्येय के साथ प्रदेश सरकार ई-गवर्नेंस की दिशा में आगे बढ़ रही है। इसी कड़ी में प्रदेश सरकार ने मेरा परिवार-समृद्ध परिवार के तहत प्रत्येक परिवार का पहचान पत्र बनाने की अनूठी पहल की है। परिवार पहचान पत्र सरकारी योजनाओं का सरलता व पारदर्शिता से पात्र परिवार तक सीधे लाभ पहुंचाने का सशक्त माध्यम बनेगा।
बिजली मंत्री मंगलवार को लघुसचिवालय स्थित सभागार में परिवार पहचान पत्र वितरण कार्यक्रम उपरांत संबोधित करते हुए कही। जिलास्तरीय कार्यक्रम में बिजली मंत्री ने पात्र परिवारों को परिवार पहचान पत्र वितरित किए। इस दौरान उपायुक्त रमेश चंद्र बिढान, एसडीएम जयवीर यादव, जिला राजस्व अधिकारी बिजेंद्र भारद्वाज, डीआईओ रमेश शर्मा सहित संबंधित अधिकारी भी उपस्थित रहे। उपायुक्त रमेश चंद्र बिढान ने बिजली मंत्री चौधरी रणजीत सिंह को स्मृति चिन्ह भेंट कर सम्मानित भी किया। नागरिक संसाधन सूचना विभाग के माध्यम से मेरा परिवार-समृद्ध परिवार के तहत परिवार पहचान पत्र वितरण योजना का शुभारंभ मुख्यमंत्री मनोहर लाल द्वारा उप मुख्यमंत्री दुष्यंत चौटाला की उपस्थिति में पंचकूला में आयोजित राज्यस्तरीय कार्यक्रम से किया।
मुख्यमंत्री मनोहर लाल ने कहा कि प्रदेश में परिवार पहचान पत्र के लिए 1 करोड़ 94 लाख आबादी को कवर करते हुए 56 लाख 19 हजार 362 परिवारों का डाटा उपलब्ध हुआ है। इनमें से 18 लाख 81 हजार 291 परिवारों का डाटा पुष्ट किया जा चुका है। उन्होंने कहा कि बाकी बचे डाटा की पुष्टि की प्रक्रिया जारी है और अगले 3 माह तक इस कार्य को पूरा किया जाएगा। इसके साथ ही परिवार पहचान पत्र के साथ विभिन्न योजनाओं को जोडऩे का कार्य भी अगले 4 माह में पूरा हो जाएगा। उन्होंने कहा कि एक बार परिवार पहचान पत्र डेटा में सत्यापित डेटा को अंतिम रूप देने के बाद इसे हरियाणा सरकार की सभी योजनाओं के लिए उपयोग किया जाएगा। मुख्यमंत्री ने प्रदेश के नागरिकों से आह्वान किया है कि वे आगे बढकर अपने परिवार का डाटा उपलब्ध करवाने व अपडेट करवाएं और अपना परिवार पहचान पत्र बनवाकर प्रदेश की जनकल्याणकारी योजनाओं का लाभ उठाएं।
प्रदेश के बिजली, जेल एवं अक्षय ऊर्जा मंत्री ने परिवार पहचान पत्र वितरित करते हुए कहा कि प्रदेश परिवार पहचान पत्र लोगों के लिए सुख का आधार बनेगा। उन्होंने कहा कि प्रदेश सरकार की यह पहल कल्याणकारी योजनाओं को पारदर्शी व सरलता से पात्र व्यक्ति तक पहुंच को मजबूती प्रदान करेगी। परिवार पहचान पत्र से नागरिक की हर जगह पहचान सुनिश्चित हो सकेगी, जिससे पात्र व्यक्ति कहीं पर भी सरकार की योजनाओं का लाभ उठा सकेगा। उन्होंने कहा कि नागरिकों को अब योजनाओं के लाभ के लिए अलग-अलग दस्तावेज देने की जरूरत नहीं होगी और न ही उसका समय बर्बाद होगा।
उन्होंने कहा कि आगामी समय में सरकार की विभिन्न योजनाओं को परिवार पहचान पत्र के साथ जोड़ा जाएगा, जिससे पात्र व्यक्ति को अलग-अलग दस्तावेजों की जरूरत नहीं होगी। केवल परिवार पहचान पत्र से ही विभिन्न योजनाओं का सीधा लाभ उठा सकेगा। उन्होंने कहा कि ट्रायल के तौर पर कुछ योजनाओं को ही परिवार पहचान पत्र से जोड़ा गया है। प्रदेश सरकार का प्रयास है कि अगले तीन महीनों में लगभग सभी योजनाओं को इसके साथ जोड़ा जाएगा। उन्होंने कहा कि पात्र लोगों का डाटा एकत्रित किया जा रहा है ताकि अंत्योदय की भावना से अंतिम पंक्ति के हर पात्र व्यक्ति तक को सरकार की योजना का लाभ प्रभावी रूप से मिल सके। उन्होंने कहा कि सूचना प्रौद्योगिकी के माध्यम से सरकार की ओर से डिजिटल स्वरूप के साथ जरूरतमंद लोगों को लाभांवित कर रही है और मुख्यमंत्री की सकारात्मक सोच के परिणामस्वरूप खुशहाल हरियाणा बनता जा रहा है।
उपायुक्त रमेश चंद्र बिढान ने बताया कि मेरा परिवार समृद्ध परिवार योजना के तहत परिवार पहचान के लिए 2 लाख 27 हजार 810 परिवारों का डाटा एकत्रित करते हुए रजिस्ट्रेशन किया गया है। उन्होंने कहा कि जिला में 995 कमेटियां उक्त डाटा की जांच का कार्य करेंगी और डाटा को घर के मुखिया के अनुसार अपडेट करेंगी। इसके अलावा कोई भी नागरिक सामान्य सेवा केंद्र(सीएससी) पर जाकर भी अपना डाटा अपडेट करवा सकता है। उन्होंने कहा कि एक जिम्मेवार नागरिक के तौर पर आगे आएं और अपना परिवार पहचान पत्र बनवाएं ताकि प्रदेश सरकार की योजनाओं का उन्हें सरलता व सुगमता के साथ लाभ मिल सके।

उपायुक्त रमेश चंद्र बिढान ने कहा कि मुख्यमंत्री की ओर से बनाई गई रूपरेखा अनुसार आगामी 27,28,29 व 30 अगस्त को झज्जर जिला के शहरी व ग्रामीण क्षेत्र में विशेष कैंप का आयोजन किया जाएगा जिसमें परिवार पहचान पत्र बनाने की प्रक्रिया अमल में लाई जाएगी। उन्होंने बताया कि सभी विभागों की योजनाओं का लाभ परिवार पहचान पत्र के माध्यम से दिया जाएगा ताकि पूरी तरह से पारदर्शिता बनी रहे और हर पात्र व्यक्ति सरकार की योजना का लाभ सही तरीके से उठा सके। उन्होंने कहा कि जिला प्रशासनिक टीम प्रभावी रूप से लोगों को सरकार की योजनाओं का लाभ पहुंचाने के लिए कृत संकल्प है। सभी प्रशासनिक अधिकारी व कर्मचारी सुशासन संकल्प वर्ष में जनसेवा को समर्पित होकर कार्य कर रहे हैं ताकि पात्र लोगों को किसी भी प्रकार से असुविधा न हो।

हरियाणा के मुख्यमंत्री मनोहर लाल 5 अगस्त को वीडियो कॉफ्रेंसिंग के माध्यम से महिलाओं, किशोरियों व बच्चों के लिए दो नई योजनाओं महिला एवं किशोरी सम्मान योजना व मुख्यमंत्री दूध उपहार योजना का शुभारंभ करेंगे। इसी कड़ी में स्थानीय लघु सचिवालय के बैठक कक्ष में 5 अगस्त को प्रात: 11 बजे जिला स्तर पर कार्यक्रम का आयोजन किया जाएगा। जिलास्तरीय कार्यक्रम में उपायुक्त रमेश चंद्र बिढ़ान बतौर मुख्य अतिथि शिरकत करेंगे। यह जानकारी जिला कार्यक्रम अधिकारी महिला एवं बाल विकास विभाग डा. दर्शना सिंह ने दी।
डीपीओ डा. दर्शना सिंह ने बताया कि जिलास्तरीय कार्यक्रम में हरियाणा के मुख्यमंत्री मनोहर लाल के कार्यक्रम का लाइव प्रसारण भी दिखाया जाएगा। उन्होंने बताया कि महिला एवं किशोरी सम्मान योजना के तहत जिला में बीपीएल परिवारों की लगभग एक लाख महिलाओंं को सैनिटरी नेपकिन पैड नि:शुल्क दिए जाएंगे। इसके अतिरिक्त मुख्यमंत्री दूध उपहार योजना के तहत 6 वर्ष तक के लगभग 25 हजार बच्चों तथा गर्भवति व दूध पिलाने वाली महिलाओं को फोर्टिफाइड स्किम्ड मिल्क पाउडर दिया जाएगा। यह मिल्क पाउडर स्थानीय वीटा प्लांट से उपलब्ध करवाया गया है। कैल्शियम और मैग्नीशियम, विटामिन ए, डी व बी-12 से युक्त यह दूध पाउडर बच्चों में न्यूट्रिशन की कमी पूरी करेगा।

One week online Faculty Development Program on Exploring Science and Technology Interconnections was inaugurated today by Dean Student Welfare, Panjab University, Prof. S.K. Tomar. The FDP is being jointly organized by the Department of Applied Sciences, University Institute of Engineering and Technology, Panjab University Chandigarh and Department of Chemistry, Government College of Engineering and Technology, Jammu and is sponsored by Technical Education Quality Improvement programme of Government of India (TEQIP-III) .
The objective of the FDP is to provide a common platform for discussion between scientists and engineers to draw a roadmap for strengthening the teaching and research of Applied Science in Engineering Institutes. 85 faculty members have registered for this faculty programme. Eminent speakers from different engineering, research institutes and university departments will deliver talks on the Significance of Applied Sciences, methodologies to make teaching of applied sciences interesting and useful, research and consultancy expectations from applied scientists etc..Two expert talks were delivered on the inaugural day. Prof. Sandeep Sahijpal, Department of Physics, Panjab University, Chandigarh delivered a talk about Solar system, its exploration and what humans can gain from it. He highlighted developments in remote sensing technology and progress of India in Space exploration. Prof. Rama Sastry, Department of Chemical Sciences, IISER, Mohali delivered talk on “ The relevance of catalysis in organic synthesis”. He explained the importance of organic synthesis and how the catalysis can impact the synthesis.
The BioNEST-Panjab University, one of the youngest bio-incubators in India, and the only university-backed bio-incubator in the North India, has received the opportunity from Biotechnology Industry Research Assistance Council (BIRAC), the private sector arm of Deptt of Biotechnology( DBT) to become an Associate BIG Partner. The incubator as a partner for Biotechnology Ignition Grant (BIG) will be able to help young innovators from the northern region (mainly) to apply, get evaluated, succeed and get incubated after receiving the grant of the BIG Award which amounts to money upto 50 lakhs per innovation.
BIRAC under its BIG scheme supports innovative ideas having a potential for commercialization. Till date, more than 500 ideas have been supported by the BIRAC under this particular initiative. Dr.Rohit Sharma, the Project Leader of BioNEST-PU said, “The incubator has successfully hosted multiple Biotechnology Ignition Grant (BIG) Awardees in the past, providing them a landing space to build their technologies with the generous funding support received from BIRAC. In addition to that, we will now be able to not only host the BIG Awardees but also help them start from the scratch- to apply, get evaluated (at multiple levels) and succeed. Mentorship support is provided at all these stages along with the incubation support.”
Dr. Sharma also highlighted that the types of ideas to be supported by the BIG must primarily be from the following broad categories- healthcare, life sciences, diagnostics, medical devices, drugs, vaccines, drug formulations and delivery systems, while innovators with ideas for industrial biotechnology, agriculture and secondary agriculture, waste management, sanitation, clean energy and related areas can also apply for the same. The BIG Scheme and BioNEST’s support will prove to be ‘one of its kinds’ support system for the innovators/ start-ups to eventually be made stand-alone entities with complete R&D of their product in a tenure of 18 months.He also informed and added, “The 17th call for proposals under the BIG Scheme is open till 15th September 2020 and hope more innovators/start-ups working under the life-sciences umbrella will be able to apply reap the benefits with the collaborative efforts of BioNEST-PU.”
The BioNEST-PU was established in the year 2016 with generous funding support received from BIRAC and Panjab University, Chandigarh as a key step in empowering and nurturing young biotech entrepreneurs in the northern region of the country, Since its inception, the BioNEST-PU till date has been successful in hosting over 21 innovators on-board as resident start-ups and/or innovators. After having received multiple awards and achievements to its credit, the BioNEST-PU has added yet another feather to its cap.

अयोध्या: राम मंदिर की तर्ज पर बनेगा अयोध्या रेलवे स्टेशन, 104 करोड़ रुपये होंगे खर्च*
भगवान राम की जन्मभूमि अयोध्या नगरी युगों से भक्ति और आस्था का केंद्र बिंदु रही है. इस नगरी का यही महत्व श्रद्धालुओं को अपनी ओर खींचता है. यहां हर दिन पूरे विश्व से श्रद्धालुओं का आना-जाना लगा रहता है. इसी को देखते हुए अयोध्या नगरी का रेलवे स्टेशन भी भारतीय रेल में अपना एक खास स्थान रखता है. अयोध्या रेलवे स्टेशन हर दिन अनेक गाड़ियों को संचालित करते हुए यात्रियों का अयोध्या दौरा कराता है. अब जब अयोध्या में राम मंदिर का निर्माण होने जा रहा है तो अयोध्या स्टेशन के कायाकल्प की भी तैयारी की गई है. स्टेशन को भी राम मंदिर की तर्ज पर ही एक नया स्वरूप दिया जाएगा. स्टेशन का विकास कार्य जून 2021 तक पूरा होगा. रेल मंडल की ओर से अयोध्या रेलवे स्टेशन के स्वरूप, यात्री सुविधाओं, स्वच्छता, सौंदर्य और अलग-अलग जरूरी सुविधाओं में बड़ा बदलाव करते हुए इस स्टेशन को नए रूप में सजाने की प्रक्रिया शुरू कर दी गई है. अयोध्या स्टेशन के नए और आधुनिक यात्री सुविधाओं से लैस भवन का निर्माण कार्य प्रगति पर है.
इस भवन के लिए वितीय वर्ष 2017-18 में 80 करोड़ रुपये की मंजूरी दी गई थी जिसे अब बढ़ाकर 104 करोड़ रुपये कर दिया गया है. इस स्टेशन भवन का निर्माण रेलवे की राइट्स (RITES)कंपनी द्वारा किया जा रहा है. अयोध्या रेलवे स्टेशन के भवन का निर्माण दो चरणों में होगा. पहले चरण में प्लेटफॉर्म संख्या 1 और 2/3 में विकास कार्य, मौजूदा सरकुलेटिंग एरिया और होल्डिंग एरिया का विकास होगा. दूसरे चरण में नए स्टेशन भवन का निर्माण और अन्य सुविधाओं का निर्माण कार्य किया जाएगा. इन सुविधाओं में स्टेशन के अंदर और बाहर के क्षेत्र में बड़े स्तर पर काम होगा. स्टेशन पर उपलब्ध सुविधाओं में भी इजाफा किया जाएगा. इसके अलावा टिकट काउंटर की संख्या, वेटिंग हॉल, एयरकंडीशन 3 रेस्टिंग रूम, 17 बेड वाली पुरुष डॉरमेट्री,10 बेड वाली महिला डॉरमेट्री, एक अतिरिक्त फुट ओवर ब्रिज, फूड प्लाजा, दुकानें, अतिरिक्त शौचालय सहित कई सुविधाएं बढ़ाने का काम जारी है. स्टेशन पर पर्यटक केंद्र, टैक्सी बूथ, चाइल्ड केयर सेंटर, वीआईपी लाउंज, ऑडिटोरियम और वीआईपी गेस्ट हाउस समेत और भी कई सुविधाओं को बढ़ाने का काम जारी है. मंडल रेल प्रबंधक संजय त्रिपाठी ने इस बारे में बताया कि भविष्य में अयोध्या के महत्व को ध्यान में रखते हुए मंडल की ओर से अयोध्या रेलवे स्टेशन का आधुनिकीकरण करते हुए एक नया स्वरूप देने की दिशा में लगातार प्रयास चल रहे हैं ताकि देश-दुनिया के कोने-कोने से आने वाले लोगों को अच्छी सुविधाएं दी जा सकें.
